FF change single quotes in query string for their url-encode form (%27) and I need use single quotes (I don't care about derivated security problems)
When I try to enter a url like:
www.example.com?owner=alex's
the actual URL the FF send is:
www.example.com?owner=alex%27s
I need the first option and I don't know hoy to configure it. Could you help me?
I think that RFC1738 is outdated and you should look at RFC3986 section 2.2:<br>
"URI producing applications should percent-encode data octets that correspond to characters in the reserved set unless these characters are specifically allowed by the URI scheme to represent data in that component. If a reserved character is found in a URI component and no delimiting role is known for that character, then it must be interpreted as representing the data octet corresponding to that character's encoding in US-ASCII".<br><br>
I think that in this case there is no special delimiting role or "reserved purpose" for the character to allow the unencoded use. So I think that the behaviour of Firefox is correct.<br>

I'm trying to setup an App-V environment in my lab.
I've used the App-V 5.0 Trial guide to help me configure all necessary components.
I'm able to install everything without error.
when come time to publish an app, it simply doesn't show up on my client.
after looking at events on the client and server, I found that the Publishing server is returning under Admin the following message.
'The request URL doesn't contain the query string for the client OS'
My setup is pretty simple.
App-V Server managament and Publishing on the same box
App-V database on my SQL server.
I'm able to see the publishing "webpage" by using http:://localhost:889.
It only display this :

I've published one app from the management console.

I've validated the suggested debug steps. It seems that the problem is with my Publish server again.
I've looked in the web.config file. It seems to be missing some parts compare to the example provided.
Again, I've published an application from the management console. Management and Publishing are running on the same box, while SQL is remote.

is there a way to pass a vector as a query string in a URL in Java. If so how?
thanks in advanceYeah may need some more detail, but if you are trying to pass the Vector object itself from one JSP/Servlet to another, you can simply put the object in one of the scopes like session or request then forward page on.
e.g.

I have always paid for apps with a credit card and now need to use an app store card but I can't get past the point where it keeps wanting my credit card updated. And can't used the app card number. Any advice???
I do NOT like using my credit card if I don't have to, and I went out of my way to go buy an Apple gift card, which I successfully redeemed into my Apple account. However, when I use the Apple "Cards" app, it will not let me use anything other than my credit card. I tried purchasing a card, hopefulling it would come out of my Apple store balance, but no such luck -- it came out of my credit card.

To enable this right you need Acrobat, not the free Reader.

I went into it and searched for imovie but couldn't find the basic imovie, which I presume is what I'd need for editing?, rather than imovie 11 for £10.49, which is for making trailers, it seems. In the transaction related to PO select the path goto->header texts and then details of the texts like ID,objectname,language,name.Pass all theses details to 'READ_TEXT ' FM. Then you will get text lines described for a perticular Po ,similarly for item also.

Bank of America requires Firefox 5 on Mac for their CashPro online treasury management. I need to find version FF 5.0 to download and install. Help! I just need a link to version 5.0 so I can install it. The website throws and error when using 6.0.#. BofA Tech Support said I needed to downgrade and that was the ONLY solution. I hate large corporations. If someone could provide the link I would appreciate it.

I am trying to change the Apple ID on my I phone and my Wife's I phone. Is it possible to keep our contacts, calander, and photos by doing this? We do not care about our music or apps. Is this possible?
Photos should be copied to the computer and synced back via iTunes. They are unrelated to the Apple ID unless you are using PhotoStream.
Depending on how the contacts are synced the the device, chaging the Apple ID may wipe them.
Why do you want to change the Apple ID? If it's an email address change, simply change the email associated with the Apple ID. Do NOT create a new Apple ID. -
When I sign into iTunes for updates, a secondary username appers and I need to enter a password. I am not familiar with the second username. Any suggestions?
Are you using iTunes on your iPad or the actual program on a Mac/PC?
If you are using on your iPad check the ID being used by going to Settings>iTunes & App Store if the Apple ID displayed isn't yours tap it and select Sign Out then sign in with your own Apple ID.
If you are referring to iTunes on a Mac/PC select the Store Menu and check the Account Name next to the View Account text, if this isn't you select the Sign Out option directly above it then Sign In with the relevant credentials.

AD Query String for Group Membership

I have found that inbound mail to distributions groups (Ex07) are not being delivered. Running a trace, I am seeing they are failing on LDAP match. I tracked it down to the qroup query not working. We are using the default query. Running a test, it fails. I think that is the problem. I can mail the group internally just fine.
Anyone have a good query string that will check for distribution groups? Below is the query being used. Thanks for the help.

Well I opened a ticket with support, and it appears that I have them stumped. From what they tell me it isn't the ldap group query that is failing, but rather the ldap accept query failing.
Sending to the group does work internally so It looks like ldap is good with the the proxy address, but ironport is failing on the query.

Maximum length of query string for functions return a SELECT

I have a report that gets it's SELECT statement from a function, instead of being coded into the region. All was well but I suspect now I'm blowing some kind of limit as I'm getting an error :
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
Error ERR-1101 Unable to process function body returning query.
However if I run the procedure out of ApEx and grab the SELECT statement then it works fine. The length of the query is 8636 bytes (yup, it's a beauty!).
Does anyone know if there is a hard limit to the size of the string that can be returned?
I'm using ApEx 3.1.

Certain queries can only be executed when running your application, if your query appears syntactically correct, you can save your query without validation (see options below query source).
