File conversion for BW upload

I have a requirement for an ABAP development that makes something like a transpose (excel function) to change the format of a file to upload data into a infosource.
Currently the users have some files with columns like:
Cost Center/Cost element/version/month 1/ month 2/ month 3/ month 4/…/month 12
Each month is filled with a 0AMOUNT.
The requirement consists in convert the months in different lines to upload it to BW, like:
Cost Center/Cost element/version/month 1/0AMOUNT
Cost Center/Cost element/version/month 2/0AMOUNT
Cost Center/Cost element/version/month 3/0AMOUNT
Cost Center/Cost element/version/month 12/0AMOUNT
Does anyone has an idea how to do this?
Many thanks all,

Assuming the target infoprovider structure like this.
Cost Center/Cost element/version/month /0AMOUNT
mapping should be like below.
Datasource   - > target infoprovider
Cost Center    - >Cost Center
Cost element  - >Cost element
version           - >version
month1           - > month
0AMOUNT      - >0AMOUNT
put this code in the start routine of the transformation between datasource and infoprovider.
DATA: wa_result TYPE _ty_s_sc_1,
t_result TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF _ty_s_sc_1.
LOOP AT SOURCE_PACKAGE INTO wa_result.
counter =1.
DO 12 TIMES.
          CASE counter.
when ' 1 '.
wa_result-costcenter =  wa_result-costcenter.
wa_result-costelement =  wa_result-costelement.
wa_result-version =  wa_result-version.
wa_result- amount = wa_result-amount
wa_result- month1 = wa_result-month1.
when ' 2 '.
wa_result-costcenter =  wa_result-costcenter.
wa_result-costelement =  wa_result-costelement.
wa_result-version =  wa_result-version.
wa_result- amount = wa_result-amount
wa_result- month1 = wa_result-month2.
when ' 12 '.
wa_result-costcenter =  wa_result-costcenter.
wa_result-costelement =  wa_result-costelement.
wa_result-version =  wa_result-version.
wa_result- amount = wa_result-amount
wa_result- month1 = wa_result-month12.
endcase.
counter = counter + 1.
APPEND wa_result TO t_result.
enddo.
endloop.
CLEAR: SOURCE_PACKAGE,wa_result.
   LOOP AT t_result INTO wa_result.
      APPEND wa_result TO SOURCE_PACKAGE.
    ENDLOOP.
Note: Code is in BI 7.0 version.

My macbook seems to be going crazy. At certain points (and for hours) I get the oh snap page on chrome, safari doesnt work, macbook wont let me create any files or for example upload music to itunes. I restored my mac so im sure its not a malware problem. The only thing that solves it is switching off and on , but sometimes I have to do that for 6-7 times before its ok or wait for a few hours. Some help please

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

best method of wma audio file conversion for iTunes/iphones

    Fazel,
As you know, iTunes for Mac is not capable of processing WMA files.  The two best choices are:
Get access (even temporarily) to iTunes for Windows.  It can convert your WMA files to the format indicated in import preferences.  Use a USB flash drive to copy the files back to your Mac.
Use a 3rd party conversion program.  The one most preferred by Mac users is EasyWMA.
In either case, once you have the converted files, add them to your iTunes library.  Then delete the WMA originals.

another well-known converter, esp for DVD>>Apple-toys-usage is
    http://handbrake.fr/ (don't worry, english spoken)
note to Mods: the latest version is NO ripper (=DRM-override), but a converter..

    Hi
Iv'e just purchased the online file conversion to word, i've just logged in and the adobe reader document shows it's updloading file to Adobe Export PDF online but it's taking ages and doesnt' seem to be working.
My boss needs this done super urgent - can you please???

I do not know what the problem is; it's possible that there is a problem with the ExportPDF server?
If it's super urgent, what I would do is download the free trial of Acrobat Pro, and run the conversion with Acrobat for now.

  • MTS File Conversion for iMovie

    Dear Apple Support Community,
I am struggling with movie file conversions, and getting the optimum results from such a process before starting my editing work in iMovie.
I have a Canon HD camcorder which records movies according to AVCHD standards. Before using iMovie, I need to convert the .MTS files to a format which is compatible with iMovie, and I have tried the following:
Copy the files from the SD card on to my HDD.
Using Toast 11 (Titanum), I have selected different profiles to convert the file to formats such as MOV, M4V, MP4 etc.
The converted files yields a size that does not match the original one i.e. a 300 MB file after being converted, is now either 791 MB, or 96 MB in this case.
When importing the converted file into iMovie, iMovie still wants to optimize the file for some reason (I believe using APPLE INTERMEDIATE CODEC resolves the optimization issue)
Import the files directly from the SD card into iMovie, provided I have not altered the original file structure i.e. when inserting the SD card, iMovie recognizes the SD card the same way it would for connecting the Camera. When I select the videos to be imported, iMovie does so without hassles, but the files again turn out to be bigger than the original file by a factor of between 2 and 3, depending on the original file.
What is the best way to convert files to preserve the quality as close as possible to the original?
Is it normal for coverted files to be larger than the original file after being converted (smaller makes sense, but bigger just baffles me)
    Thanks for any feedback!

    Thanks for the great feedback.
I do have struggles though in general, part of which originates from my camera itself.
My camera still has a tendency to record an interlaced effect even though my settings are confidently selected to progressive (I have 50i and 25p to choose from - 25p is my selection).
However, when I use Toast Titanium, I have an option to select the source video to be deinterlaced, but Toast does not do a good job at deinterlacing, compared to Handbrake. The benefit of my Toast Preset is that I can covert the video to an Apple Intermediate Codec, which means that when the files are imported into iMovie, the process is rather quick.
When I convert using Handbrake, the software does a pretty **** good job at deinterlaing, but the downside is that I cannot find a preset that makes import into iMovie satisfactory.
So, in light of all this long discussion I gave, my question is really, what is the best file converter for iMovie to convert MTS files that need to be deinterlaced.
    Thanks for any help!
    Adios

  • File conversion for more than one level of substructure

I have the following file format that needs to be converted into XML, but because it has more than one level of substructure I'm not able to give the correct file conversion parameter
    source file sample:
    1headeryyyyyyyyyyyyy
    2itemsyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
    2itemsyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
    2itemsyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
    3trailer1yyyyyyyyyyyyy
    4trailer2yyyyyyyyyyyyy
    2itemsyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
    2itemsyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
    2itemsyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
    3trailer1yyyyyyyyyyyyy
    4trailer2yyyyyyyyyyyyy
Thus you see above that there is one header followed by a bundle that conrains many items and 2 trailers and this bundle can repeat any number of time.
Could anyone let me know how to parse this type of file to XML?
    Thanks,

  • Reducing MP4 File Size for online upload

I have a short HD video almost 1 GB in size (impossible to upload online). Is there an easy way to reduce the file size using IMovie or another program that I don't have to go out and buy?

I don't think you'll have too much success with this. Mpegs are already compressed files, so there's no real benefit to trying for further reduction. In some cases using compression software will make the resulting file larger than the original.
There are utilities that can be used to slice up a file into smaller parts that can then be reassembled. For example, Movie Cutter, SplitFuse, Split&Concat, MacAppStuff Pieces are a few. Look for them at VersionTracker or MacUpdate. Stuffit Deluxe is a commercial product that includes the ability to split and join multiple pieces of a file archive and has the benefit of being available on both Macs and PCs.
You can then split a large file into several smaller files to send via email or to upload to file server sites. Of course the recipient will need a compatible utility to join the pieces.

  • Max file size for Portal Upload

    Hi,
Our portal is EP6 SP2 Patch 5. Our users try to upload 200 MB document and it is failing. Any one of you know what is the limiatation of the size.??
Any help would be a great help.
    Ravi

I don't know what the limit is but for files that size it is probably better to try and use webdav.  Go into details of the folder you want to upload to, then propeties and one of the properties is access links.  One of those is a webdav link.  Copy that.  Then in Windows explorer, choose map network drive -> web folder and put that url in.  You will have to logon using portal uid / password but then the portal folder will appear in my network places so you can jsut copy it in that way.  I've copied loads of files in that way.

  • How to set file permissions for SFTP uploaded file?

    Hello,
is it possible to set file permissions with the SDK for files uploaded via SFTP transfer? I use the default sample plugin ftp_upload.lrdevplugin to transfer the files, but would like to tweak it to set the uploaded file(s) to permission 644 (rw-,r--,r--) on Linux server. Currently the server sets new file(s) by default to 600 (rw-,---,---).
I am looking for an option to do the "chmod" directly from Lightroom without doing any modificatios in general to default umask, etc. settings on the server. No real UI is needed for this. Just hardcoded setting for 644 in the .lua.
So far I've been unsuccesful in finding the way. Googled, read this forum, looked at the API. Maybe I just missed it, or does this functionality exist?
    All advice is appreciated!
    Cheers,
    Timo

Niel's suggestion is good. You might also try posting your question in the Tiger Server forums. I'm sure Tiger Server has several ways of dealing with this.

  • File conversion for DVD

    Hi:)
I'm trying to export a 3 minute and 25 second edited video to burn to DVD. The video was recorded on a Canon HV20 (consumer HD) and on HD DV tapes, when I make a Quicktime movie the quality looks great but when try to burn that on to DVD using iDVD the DVD won't play. I tried exporting using quicktime conversion to make an avi file but the quality of the footage was seriously comprimised, though I could burn that avi file on to a DVD the playback quality was crap. Can anyone offer advice on the best way to convert Final Cut Express edited footage to burn on to a DVD? thanks in advance for all your help!

    File>Export>QuickTime Movie.
    Don't use QT Conversion.

  • File conversion for imovie? help!

hello i just got my new mac 3 days ago and i'm already frustrated and losing my mind!
i plugged in my digital camera hoping to edit some video clips i've been shooting. the pictures load fine in iphoto, and i even watched the video clips with quicktime, but imovie does not recognize the files! thus, i can't load them on there nor edit them. this stinks! unless i convert the files then imovie 08 is useless to me. the file shows up as .mov but stil don't work. i've spent the last 3 hours searching for free file convertors, and all of them are a bust. can anyone help me? any recommendations on a good program to change my .mov to mp4 ?
i'm beyond frustrated right now... really, i never thought apple would be this stubborn! i see i have the option of converting picture files (from .bmp to .jpeg) but there is no such option for video files.
    please help!

You don't want to convert more than once.
QT Kirk is correct here. Your goal should be to not convert the video at all if you don't have to and only once if you must to get it into the editor. iMovie '06 will automatically convert the original clips in iPhoto as part of the "import" process as long as the files are "conversion" compatible with QT and any components you may have installed. iMovie '08, on the other hand, does not perform any conversions as part of a "Finder" level file import. Therefore, if you wish to import to iMovie '08, you will have to do some manual conversion. However, what actually has to be converted may simply depend on the content of the source file.
    1) An MPEG (MPEG-1) or MPEG (MPEG-2) "muxed" file would have to convert both audio and video content to make it compatible with iMovie '08.
    2) A Casio AVI, Kodak MOV, or other digital files containing M-JPEG, MPEG-4, H.264 video with DVI ADPCM or µ-Law audio compression would only have to have its audio content converted. In the case of MPEG-4 and H.264 files, this can be done by using GarageBand to access the "Movie to MPEG-4" export option and "Pass through" the video while only converting the audio content. In the case of M-JPEG files, the audio track can be extracted, converted, and used to replace the original sound track if you have QT Pro available.
    3) QT MPEG-4 slideshow exports can be made iMovie '08 compatible by simply placing the audio/video content in an MP4 container with MPEG Streamclip (free) which strips it of incompatible "Tween" track or manually delete the track with QT Pro.

  • Sony RAW file conversion for Lightroom 5

I've been using Lightroom 5 (LR5) for my photo editing on a PC for a year now & been shooting with Nikon, just recently purchased a Sony A7II & LR5 will not read the RAW files, when I try it says: "The files are not recognized by the raw format in Lightroom 5", Please check for updated version of Lightroom, so I checked & I do have the current version, no updates available. I was previously told it would read it & there shouldn't be a problem, well it won't. From what I've read looks like I need to convert these RAW files to DNG through a plug-in. When I went to 'Adobe Support & Community Help' I found what I was looking (I think) a plug-in for LR5, however when you open the link at the top its says: 'Camera Raw plug-in for CS6, CC, or CC 2014 Adobe applications' doesn't mention anything about LR5, but it did on the previous search page so I'm a little confused. Attached is the link: Camera Raw plug-in installer
Is this it for LR5,  'CameraRaw_8_7_1.zip' ? And if so why doesn't it say for LR5, anyone know? I don't want to download something and have it screw up my LR5 program. Any help here would be greatly appreciated....jp

I have Lightroom 5.7. When I check for updates I show its up to date, I don't understand, whenever there are updates its always advised me, I started with Lightroom 5. Was that link to 5.7.1 on my post correct for this update? Like I said it didn't say for Lightroom 5 just Photo Shop CS6,CC, or CC 2014, so I was a bit confused, wouldn't be an issue if Lightroom 5 was included in the text.

  • H264 file conversion for use in DVDit on PC for Blu-Ray Disc Burn

We're trying to create our first Blu-Ray HD disc project and have met with some success. The problem is the frame update rate on the Blu-Ray during playback. It's not real time. Here's the workflow that we created since FCP doesn't support Blu-Ray yet. We're taking the original animation source footage created in AVI with the following specs: progressive, 1280x720. 59.94, 158 mb/s and importing into FCP. Then, after editing we export an H264 out of Compressor with these specs: progressive, 1280x720. 59.94, 16 mb/s. We then take that H264 file to DVDit on the PC and author the Blu-Ray disc. The resolution of the video is fantastic but the frame rate lags at certain areas. This is unacceptable to the client so we're trying to fix the problem. Any Ideas or better workflow? Thanks.

    Hi Video Dude
here's a good article I posted on the DVDSP forum as well. It tells a bunch about workflow and the problems the author faced. I hope you know that this is kind of a new technology - so much so that I would frankly say it's in the beta stanges at this point even though you can buy players and authoring software - problems might come up that you have no control at this point. Just so you & your client relize this. Check for plyer updates as well.
    Good Luck
