File named attachments.zip.download

there is a file on my desktop named attachments.zip.download that i can't delete, how can i get rid of it?

Thank you for trying to help me, but i can't find it on my browser downloads and it doesn't let me rename the file. Any other ideas?

Oh my gosh I had the EXACT same problem, and for ages I couldn't figure out how to fix it until today. Here's what I did:
First I went onto my computer, opened itunes, and un-installed tumblr, vine and kik. These were the apps I was having problems with (it said I had them on my phone but, like you, they didn't show).
Then I went to the itunes store, searched for each one, and it said I could update them so I did (just FYI: for tumblr a window popped up saying "please click ok to confirm you are 17 years or older", so I did that also)
When I went back to my phone and tried installing them again (still on my computer), it worked!

Star Office files as attachments treated as "zipped"

I just finally got around to upgrading my wife's iMac to Tiger - and it seems to have created a problem...
She does some work for folks who use Star Office, and frequenty gets Star Office files as attachments. Under Panther, this was no problem - the files arrived as Star Office documents which she could click on to open in NeoOffice; however, with Tiger it seems that Mail is interpreting the .sxw extension as a "zipped" file, causing problems opening the documents from within Mail. Files sent to her as .swx files are showing in Mail as .swx.zip in the body of the email, and just as .swx in the attachments list. Whether she clicks on the Star Office attachment in the email body, or from the attachments list, Mail gives a warning that the file appears to be a zip file and could contain an application.
If she clicks "ok" on the warning, the file will usually open in NeoOffice as before -- but this is still bugging her (and therefore comes back to me). The worse part is that it seems that when she sends .sxw files, the people receiving them are now having problems.
Is there a setting somewhere that I can change to fix this? Or could this be a new "bug" introduced in Tiger's Mail?

Unfortunately, that does not resolve the problem. The Star Office files open fine in NeoOffice if she first saves it somewhere rather than trying to open it from within Mail.
I have done some more testing and discovered that it is definitely a Mail related problem... I had her send me a .swx file, and in Mail I had the same problem as she's having. Got the warning message about it being a zipped file, etc. (actually, if you click it from within the body of the email, after clicking "ok" to the warning it appears that BOMArchiver - or whatever the built-in zip utility is - tries to unzip it).
I then tried using Thunderbird to receive the mail with the .swx attachment. No problems there at all -- it did not appear as a .zip file, and there were no warnings.
So, I've concluded that it has something to do with Mail - and it's a new problem with Tiger, she never had the problem in Panther.

I am able to upload attachments and can see them in the tables. How can I include these attachments in the workflow notifications? To find how Oracle is able to attach files to a single zip file, I searched for "ZIP_ATTACHMENT" keyword in dba_source table and found it is being done in the APPS.PO_COMMUNICATION_PVT.GENERATE_PDF_BUYER package procedure. Do I have to modify this procedure or is there a less invasive way, which is upgrade proof too?

How to send Zip files as attachments !! Very urgent, Please help!

I am sending PDF files as attachments using java mail (it works fine). But now my requirement is to zip the PDFs and send them as attachments instead of actual PDF's. But i don't know how to achieve that. does java mail API support zip attachment facilities? I have looked in activation API also, but i couldn't find anything helpful. even i searched the forums, but no clue. Please, anybody help me about this, it's very urgent.

Check the first "if". If I specify an attachment, then a myme multipart doby is created: one for text and the other for the attachemnt I use this myme ovbject only for attachemnts, because some ISPs have problems and report error in email format if the attachemnet is missing and it contains only text and no attachment.

When I downloaded pics from my camera to iPhoto it put them in a file that was named with the download date. Can I do that with Aperture (as the download default)?

I recently replaced iPhoto with Aperture. When I download pics into Aperture they are place in a file that's called "Untitled Project." When I downloaded pics from my camera to iPhoto they were put in a file that was named with the download date (YYYY MM DD). Can I do that with Aperture (as the download default)?

When I import I have an Applescript that stores the images in a year month day folder-project structure so I haven;t used the default Aperture behavior in some time. When I tested it out to reply to you I was doing it from the file system and it picked up the date from the folder. mea culpa.
Anyway the closest you can get is to have Aperture split the images by date. IN the Aperture preferences set the project split granularity
Autosplit into Projects
and then in the import window set
Automatically split projects.
This will give projects named Month Day, Year (ie: Mar 13, 2012) there is no way to change this
As I said I have a script that runs on import and sets up a structure like:
Of course many here will say not to name projects this way, that Aperture has the ability to sort by date and you're better off naming projects something more meaningful. For them that is true and it might be for you also. For me I like to store my masters this way, it works for the way I shoot.

Publication\Zip file naming convention

In XI3.1 when you schedule a Publication and select zip file package as format the documents inside the Publication get named like: "tempWebiArtifact35744728274_2.PDF"
Any idea why we have this unusual naming convention?

I whose trying to install Arch from latest installation ISO without any success. I whose thinking that whose problem with UEFI and USB combination, similar to this

But after studying error messages, I've noticed some wrong file naming:

I also had to rename, although I extracted with 7-zip I renamed both the ROOT_IMAGE.FS.SFS files to whatever was tried at the prompt ...

Multiple Files as attachments in File Sender Channel

I am trying a scenario where i need to pick all files in a folder and zip them at once. The name of the ZIP file can be anything, but names of the files in the zip file should not change.
Example : sample_il0.csv, sample_il1.csv, sample_il2.csv, sample_il3.csv.
now the Zipped file can be any thing. Like completezip.zip. But in the completedzip.zip should have these sample_il0.csv, sample_il1.csv, sample_il2.csv, sample_il3.csv files.
The condition is the names of the files should not be changed in the Zipped file. Zipped file name can be anything. This is much like selecting all files at once and right click and zip them at once on windows.
For this i am using additional files option in sender file adapter and payloadzip bean.
It is creating resultant completezip.zip file and this zip file has 4 files namely MainDocument, sample_il1.csv, sample_il2.csv, sample_il3.csv.
Everything is good except MainDocument . Here i am expecting sample_il0.csv file.

I somehow think you have complicated the scenario with modules and additional files. You could have zipped the file at sender using some script and then made a simple file transfer.
For your question, I don't think you can change the name of MainDocument. It is the name of the first picked file which seems to be converted into MainDocument.

How do I stop Apple Script from leaving a Text.txt file with each image downloaded using Photo Downloader in Adobe Photoshop CS4_Bridge???

I use Adobe Photoshop CS4_Bridge _Photo Downloader to import images from CF Cards into my 11" Mac Book Air. I have an issue with the Text files
that seem to accompany each and every image that I do not need. How do I stop Apple Script (which I assume is the culprit in this case) from interferring with this process.

Your iWeb Site is stored not on your iDisk, but on a file named Domain.sites in your ~/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb/ Folder.
If , for whatever reason, you wipe your HD and/or lose this file (Get a new computer, Re-Install your OS, Stolen Laptop, Crashed HD, Etc.) without backing-up your Domain.sites file then you will have to re-build your iWeb sites from scratch again.
Of course you can edit your Published HTML files in a different program such as Dreamweaver or even Text Edit. You just can't edit Published HTML files in iWeb. Not at this time at least.
Use iWebBackup to backup your Domain file to a Blank CD or DVD. Backing up your Domain file to another folder on your computer is not fully backing it up. If your computer gets stolen you still lost the file but if you have your Domain file burned onto a CD you have a backup!

.rmt file missing from firmware download

The readme file included with the firmware download zip file states to look for a .rmt file. There are only .txt files and a .bin file in the zip file. Are the instruction wrong/obsolete or should there be a .rmt file in the .zip file or is the .bin file the real firmware update file?

actually, only the .bin is what you need... even if you have the .zip file, you will need to unzip it and get the .bin (binary file) you will need for firmware upgrade... the text file only gives you information...
