File sender data type

hi all xi's.
my question is
how i can create datatype for sender file message which is in the form of
HEADER|22012007|WMD
123565139|220.05
131675434|345.45
178765544|421.00
143563345|334.00
TRAILER|4|1324.50
HERE how i can include header info in my data type
in header date is going to change and site like wmd, rmd, usa is going to vary.
and in addition to that i want to check count all records with trailer and if ok i should send 'ok'message' to reciever and if not 'error'to reciever and in same way i have to check amount with trailer.
waiting for ur answer.
bye.
regards.
seeta ram.

HI,
Try to write a UDF and change the all context to root parent node , in UDF collect all messages and check the last record count if it is ewqual then add to result list

  • Structure of the sender Data Type

    hi;
i have two tables and want to fetch data from both in one go using sender JDBC adapter.
Can any one tell me the structure of the sender Data Type
if Table1 has A1,A2,A3 as fields and Table2 has B1,B2,B3 as fields.
i want to fetch only A1,A2 fields from Table1 and B1,B3 fields from Table2.

    Hi,
Just use Select statement in the Sender JDBC adapter , and your structure should have simple structure with required number of fields.
configuring jdbc adapter with multiple tables

  • Problem to transform Flat file to Data Type Structurated and map to IDOC

    Hi all,
I have a file to idoc scenario.
    The information is like this:
    1#!445#!AI12#!1#!20070214#!DVXXXXR#!201#!31GINHG876#!#!
    2#!#!ETC
    3#!000000000030008888#!#!3000#!#!10#!#!20070215
    4#!dades45#!b#!c#!d#!e#!f#!g
    5#!pos5
where 1, 2, ... = key segments for the file adapter and #! are the field separator.
this must go to a Data Type with substructures like this:
    (xml)
    .1
    ......2
    .3
    ......4
    ......5
    where 2 is inside 1 and 4-5 inside 3.
The reason of this is we can get unbounded replays of 3/4/5 for one header.
But XI reads the information like if all segments are headers.
    .1
    .2
    .3
    .4
    .5
So the IDOC is bad created.
Where is the issue?  At Message Mapping all substructures are mapped with his default and at TEST option it works fine.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    best regards

    Dear people,
according to license problems at client, it's impossible to get the convert agent.
so now we come back to try to solve with normal mapping.
the next step is try to convert it using 2 message mappings: dt (flat xml) to dt (structurated) and this one to the idoc.
i suppose it can be done adding program at interface mapping.
I created the no hiereachical Data Type for load the information and it's fine. But i am unable to get the first mapping OK, because XI has problems with unbounded segments.
If you agreed and has time, i copy here the information and his structure.
I receive (#! defines separation and key segment fields are 1,2,3,4,5):

  • Flat file upload ( data from Non SAP)

    Hi experts --
Need to create say morethan 400 infobjects in our scenario.
so can any one help me, is there any alternative to create the same rather than creating manually. Is there any option thru BDC. i mean thru a file with data types,length,..description...  if so would like to get explained clearly.
I hope my question is clear.
    Thanks and regards,
    Vishwa.

    Hello viswanath krishnamoorthy,
    How r u ?
I believe this is not possible! because 400 InfoObjects may contain Characteristics and Key Figures, also the main problem is using BDC - Recording method u can update tables but not Activation.
No other option create them Manually.
    Best Regards....

  • Column "A" cannot convert between unicode and non-unicode string data types

I am following the SSIS overview video-
    https://secure.cbtnuggets.com/it-training-videos/series/microsoft-sql-server-2008-business-development/6143?autostart=true
I have a flat file that i want to import the contents onto a SQL database.
I created a Dataflow task, source file and oledb destination.
I am getting the folliwung error -
"column "A" cannot convert between unicode and non-unicode string data types"
in the origin file the data type is coming as string[DT_STR] and in the destination object it is coming as "Unicode string [DT_WSTR]"
I used a data conversion object in between, dosent works very well
    Please help what to do

    I see this often.
Right Click on FlatFileSource --> Show Advanced Editor --> 'Input and Output Properties' tab --> Expand 'Flat File Source Output' --> Expand 'Output Columns' --> Select your field and set the datatype to DT_WSTR.
Let me know if you still have issues.

    Hi Peter,
Good to know that it helped you.
Problem i am having is I dont have this method "SET_AS_CONTENT_TYPE( )" in class "/IWBEP/IF_MGW_ODATA_PROPERTY" because of my SAP Gateway system SP release level is less.
So i wasn't able to use this snippet.
    IF lo_entity is BOUND.
      lo_property = lo_entity->GET_PROPERTY( IV_PROPERTY_NAME = 'ContentType' ).
      lo_property->SET_AS_CONTENT_TYPE( ).
    ENDIF.
Is this the reasin i am not getting correct XML response back?

  • Using a BLOB data type in a CMP Entity Bean: Error when send large files

I've successfully impleenting BLOB in my EJB. But the main prob is, it can only work on small file which is around 3K. Any larger files than that will caused error (refer below). I got info from a friend which is using normal JDBC call to insert a file into BLOB column that you can't use java.sql.Blob data type which will have this limitation. He suggested that by using oracle.sql.BLOB, this prob won't exist.
The problem is I'm unable to use oracle.sql.BLOB in my CMP EJB because in the jbosscmp-jdbc.xml, I'm able to specify the normal BLOB only which is java.sql.Blob (Refer below).
             <cmp-field>
                <field-name>attachment</field-name>
                <column-name>attch</column-name>
                <jdbc-type>BLOB</jdbc-type>
                <sql-type>BLOB</sql-type>
</cmp-field>So, how do I solve this problem? I need to store files which the size is much bigger than that. I'm using JBoss 4 as my app server and Oracle 9i as my DB. I can see that there's many ppl facing this prob, but no solution to it. Pls advise. Thanks.

  • Using wildcards (*) in sender file adapter - FTP type

    Hi guys!
Dooes it work using wildcards in sender file adapter (FTP type(!) (filesystem obviously work))? I tried it and it failed. it works only for exact name..
I read some articles about FTP and the result is, that ftp work always only with 1 file, so I'm wondering, if this is possible.
    Thanks for info!
    Olian

    Thanks for all replies..
I know of course, that * can be used, I use it in many scenarios too. But on a FileSystem. It is not working if the sender type is FTP.
*, ., *.dat, ...  nothing like that works..  Just exact file name.
I am able to pick up file, if I specify it's exact name, so there should be no problem with permissions..
Please, I'd appreciate one reply with comfirmation: yes, we are using asterisk (*) , we access source files via FTP and they are processed.
Is there anybody with this experience, that it works?
    Thank you!
    Olian

  • How can I read a binary file stream with many data type, as with AcqKnowledge physio binary data file?

I would like to read in and write physiological data files which were saved by BioPacs AcqKnowledge 3.8.1 software, in conjunction with their MP150 acquisition system. To start with, Id like to write a converter from different physiodata file format into the AcqKnowledge binary file format for version 3.5 3.7 (including 3.7.3). It will allow us to read different file format into an analysis package which can only read in file written by AcqKnowledge version 3.5 3.7 (including 3.7.3).
I attempted to write a reader following the Application Note AS156 entitled AcqKnowledge File Format for PC with Windows (see http://biopac.com/AppNotes/ app156Fi
leFormat/FileFormat.htm ). Note the link for the Mac File format is very instructive too - it is presented in a different style and might make sense to some people with C library like look (http://biopac.com/AppNotes/ app155macffmt/macff.htm).
I guess the problem I had was that I could not manage to read all the different byte data stream with File.vi. This is easy in C but I did not get very far in LabView 7.0. Also, I was a little unsure which LabView data types correspond to int, char , short, long, double, byte, RGB and Rect. And, since it is for PC I am also assuming the data to be written as little endian integer, and thus I also used byte swap vi.
Two samples *.acq binary files are attach to this post to the list. Demo.acq is for version 3.7-3.7.2, while SCR_EKGtest1b.acq was recorded and saved with AcqKnowledge 3.8.1, which version number is 41.
I would be grateful if you someone could explain how to handle such binary file stream with LabView and send an example to i
    llustrate it.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

The reading of double is also straight forward : just use a dble float wired to the type cast node, after inverting the string (indian conversion).
    See the attached example.
The measure of skin thickness is based on OCT (optical coherent tomography = interferometry) : an optical fiber system send and received light emitted to/back from the skin at a few centimeter distance. A profile of skin structure is then computed from the optical signal.

  • Proxy to File Data Type

    Hi Experts,
I want my file output to be as below.
    Material A 02.03.2014
    Material A 04.03.2014
    Count 2#
    Material B 02.03.2014
    Material B 04.03.2014
    Material B 04.03.2014
    Count 3#
    Material C 02.03.2014
    Count 1#
How should design my Data Type at Sender and Receiver? I had already got the output data in a internal table during my client proxy.
    Thank you,
    regard,
    S.Saravannan

    Hi,
You can create the Data type as below:
    DT_Material
      Record 1..unbounded
       Material 0..1
       Date 0..1
Before sending the material data to proxy, sort the internal table based on Material. This should solve this issue.
    Thanks,
    Kanda

  • Sending data from flat file or oracle table view to a IBM MQ

    Hi,
We need a help in developing solution.
We have a scenario, where data(multiple records) in source (table/file) needs to populated into a queue(JMS IBM MQ) as a single message. To achieve this we are trying a two step process.
    1)     We created a temp table to store multiple records from file, this temp table is having one column of *‘clob’* data-type which will store data from file into a single row. We are facing issue while loading data from file to staging area using LKM FILE TO ORACLE (SQLLDR)
When we are executing interface, while creating C$ table it is going error out . Instead of taking clob (target write data type) it is taking varchar with +5000+ size whereas varchar supports only *4000*.
    create table SNPM.C$_0SINGLERECORD
    C1_C1 VARCHAR2(5000) NULL
    NOLOGGING
    Error message:
    910 : 42000 : java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype
Need help in sending data into destination table.
    2) After populating this data into destination(temp table) as a single record we need to send each row as a single message to JMS MQ. currently we are using LKM FILE to SQL to load into Staging area and IKM SQL TO JMS APPEND to put message in JMS MQ. We are succeeding in putting message of length < 4000 as these KMs are converting the data using varchar2, but we have data of large size+(>4K)+.
Pointer/ solution will be of great help.
Please let me know in case you need more description.

The error message that is showing while using clob as datatype(which we created as user data type in data types section of respective technology)
    java.lang.NumberFormatException: For input string: "4294967295"
         at java.lang.NumberFormatException.forInputString(Unknown Source)
         at java.lang.Integer.parseInt(Unknown Source)
while using varchar2 in creating C$ table following is the error:
    910 : 42000 : java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00910: specified length too long for its datatype

  • Form message pops up "Sending Data files by Email" when it shouldn't

I have a simple PDF with a form which I've created with the form tools in Acrobat Pro 8 for sending a FDF file by email.
It works OK but when clicking on some of the other internal page links in the document (set up in InDesign) that are entirely unrelated to the form I get the following pop up box:
    Sending Data files by Email
Please note this form contains an email submit button. Clicking this button will email a data file containing data you type into the form. However, the form itself will not be sent. Remember you cannot save a completed copy of this form with Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.
    1. How do I stop this popping up. Especially on pages that are unrelated to the form.
    2. Why does it say: "Remember you cannot save a completed copy of this form with Adobe Acrobat Reader 9. " when it does seem to work OK. I can send the FDF file to an email address. But this pop up box just isn't right.
And I have another query which isn't really on topic.
    3. How do you get radio buttons to be mutually exclusive (eg: sex: male/female) - it says in the Radio Button Properties button Options tab to get them to have the same field name. But where do you set the field name?
I posted this in the Mac section as I think the Mac version of Acrobat Pro may be the route cause!

    1. How do I stop this popping up. Especially on pages that are unrelated to the form.
I do not know you can. It is a user setting, not a pdf file setting.
    2. Why does it say: "Remember you cannot save a completed copy of this form with Adobe Acrobat Reader 9. " when it does seem to work OK. I can send the FDF file to an email address. But this pop up box just isn't right.
It is correct. The user cannot save the file which is a pdf file. It is not sending you a pdf file, but as you noted a fdf file.
    3. How do you get radio buttons to be mutually exclusive (eg: sex: male/female) - it says in the Radio Button Properties button Options tab to get them to have the same field name. But where do you set the field name?
If you double-click on any field with the field tool activated, you will get the field properties box. You can set the field name and default value here. You want the field name to be the same, but the default value to be different.
