File upload onComplete failing

I'm using the FileReference.browse method to allow users to
uplodd an .mp3 to a script. I am using AS2, publishing to Flash8. I
am looking for and logging events ... when I first created this the
oncomplete returned success and the file uploaded fine. Somewhere
along the line oncomplete started to fail, yet the file still
uploads. However now the flash player continues to attempt to open
the file it seems, as my CPU pegs with seconds and the browser
hangs. I can't see that I changed any code in the browse method,
which I grabbed directly from Flash Help. I had changed the
oncomplete to onCompleteData but that's not working either. Any
thoughts out there?
Here is an example of what I mean (please have an mp3 ready
to upload.
Here's
one if you need it.):

Apache receives it fine, passess it through jk, and and either the most sig or least gets lost. Image data is critical as every bit counts, text file, you may not notice it(white space), or every nTH file upload might fail.

  • PAR File upload Failed in NWDS

    Hi ,
    i.While i m trying to deploy PAR file from NWDS it showing Error like this"<b>PAR Fileupload Faild Please Check the user Name And Password</b> " .Also I tried this with admin Userid and Password,it showing the same error.
    ii.I can able to Login in to the Portal,But i cant deploy the PAR File.
    Help me to get through this .
    Regards,
    Malini.V

    Hello Malini,
    There is no configuration on server side for uploading PAR files. Please check your EP Server settings they can be the only cause of error. In NWDS please go to Windows->prefrences->SAP Enterprise Portal. Provide all the necessary details over there.
    You should use a user id which is having super_admin role assigned to it.
    In case you still get error that upload failed, In NWDS please go to Windows->prefrences->Workbench->Proxy Settings. remove proxy if it is there.
    Also the upload can fail depending of the content of the file, please ensure that there is no error in the code you are using.

  • Unable to submit form without attachment if file upload fails

    Hi All,
    I have a form, in which I have a input file component.
    Scenario 1 - If i don't attach anything and submit the form, it is successful.
    Scenario 2 - If I attach a file of size less than 2 MB and then submit, it is successful.
    Scenario 3 - If I attach a file of size greater than 2 MB and then submit, ADF gives an error message saying " File is large" which is expected.
    3.1 - In the scenario 3, after file upload fails, I want to submit the form without attaching any file. But the form isn't submitted and the warning message always pops up.
    3.2 - If I upload file of size less than 2MB again and then submit, it is successful.
    Please help me in resolving the issue.
    Thanks,

  • File upload fails

    File upload fails when the file is larger than about 50kb. The upload returns a blank page when it fails. I have searched the world over and cannot find an answer to this problem. Does anyone have any suggestion of what to do?
    Thank you,
    Chris

    What mechanism are you using to handle uploaded files? Some libraries place a configurable limit on the size of the file.

  • File upload fails if name of the file is in Japanese

    Hi all,
    I posted this message before, but could not get any response. So posting again.
    In my JSP app, I am using the latest MultipartRequest class to develop the file upload functinality through a form. Till now I was using MultipartRequest old release which was working fine for files names in English. But the new one supports international languages and therefore I am trying to use that to upload files named in Japanese. But it fails.
    Worse part is I dont get any error. But the file never reaches the desired location. I am trying to print the filenames in different Java methods just to see the progress, and I can see all the filenames/paths printed right. But the file never gets uploaded.
    Any hints?
    m_asu

    Afternoon!
    I had successfully done the same work . Besides Japanese filename, Korean and Chinese filenames are running ok.
    you should check following points:
    1. jsp's content-type:
    <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html;charset=shift_jis">
    2. form's type:
    <form method="POST" name="aaaa" enctype="multipart/form-data" action = "MyServlet">
    if both points are right, perhaps you should download a new release of uploading file from http://www.servlets.com

  • File.upload on Air SDK for iOS devices failed to send http request to server.

    I am trying to use ActionScript's File.upload to upload a file on Air SDK for iOS8 environment, but the File.upload does not work properly. No handler about the file upload is executed after File.upload is invoked, and no exception is caught. When I check the network traffic of the server side, I found that no http request even hit the server after File.upload is executed. The code snippet here is very simple.
      private var file:File;
      private var dir:File;
      //This method is executed to create a file and upload it when the Upload Button is pressed.
      protected function OnUploadButtonPressed(event:MouseEvent):void{
      var str:String = 'This is test';
      var imageBytes:ByteArray = new ByteArray();
      for ( var i:int = 0; i < str.length; i++ ) {
      imageBytes.writeByte( str.charCodeAt(i) );
      try{
      dir = File.applicationStorageDirectory
      var now:Date = new Date();
      var filename:String = "test" + now.seconds + now.milliseconds + ".txt";
      file = dir.resolvePath( filename );
      var stream:FileStream = new FileStream();
      stream.open( file, FileMode.WRITE );
      stream.writeBytes( imageBytes );
      stream.close();
      file.addEventListener( Event.COMPLETE, uploadComplete );
      file.addEventListener( IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, ioError );
      file.addEventListener( SecurityErrorEvent.SECURITY_ERROR, securityError );
      file.addEventListener(ErrorEvent.ERROR, someError);
      file.addEventListener(ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, onProgress);
      file.upload( new URLRequest("http://10.60.99.31/MyPath/fileUploadTest.do"));//This line does not work. No handler is executed. No http request hit the server side.
      } catch( e:Error ) {
      trace( e );
      //Complete Handler
      private function uploadComplete( event:Event ):void
      trace( "Upload successful." );
      //IOError handler
      private function ioError( error:IOErrorEvent ):void
      trace( "Upload failed: " + error.text );
      //SecurityError handler
      private function securityError(error:SecurityErrorEvent):void{
      trace( "Security error:" + error.text );
      //Other handler
      private function someError(error:ErrorEvent):void{
      trace("some error" + error.text);
      //Progress handler
      private function onProgress(event:ProgressEvent):void{
      trace("progressHandler");
    When executed on Air Simulator, it works fine as expected, and the file is successfully uploaded to the server. But When executed on iOS devices(in my case, iPad), as I explain early, no handler about the file upload is executed, and no the http request even hit the server. So I think the problem may be in the client side. It seems that the Air SDK for iOS just failed to send the http request for some reason.
    To make my problem more clear, I list my environment below:
    Development Environment:  Windows7 (64bit)  / Mac os 10.9.4 (Tested on  OS platforms.)
    IDE: Flash Builder 4.7
    Air SDK:  3.8 / 16.0.0 (After I updated to the lastest Air SDK 16.0.0 , the problem still exists.)
    Application Server:  Tomcat7 + Spring
    Target OS: iOS 8
    I have been struggling for this for days. So I really appreciate it if anyone has any idea about this.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi bluewindice ,
    As you have quoted ( ActionScript's File.upload does not work on Air SDK for iOS devices ) , this issue has been replicated at our end, and our team will be working on it.
    Thanks,

  • Failed to load source - file upload post

    Hello All,
    I'm trying to implement an AJAX type of file upload. I'm using Sencha's upload form which creates an iframe on the go(this si doen with the parameter fileUpload true). This should take care fo the mechanics involved in AJAX file uploads inside APEX.
    I can see an attempt to upload the file but then I get the response:
    Failed to load source for: http://jsnotions.homelinux.com/apex/wwv_flow.accept?p_flow_id=124&p_flow_step_id=1&p_instance=1971193010922945I tried creating a branch on the page to branch to another page which has an On Page Process - On Load Before Header which returns a JSON formated message.
    BEGIN
    HTP.P('{"success":true}');
    END;Oddly enough when I check the APEX view I see that the file has not been uploaded to the APEX server. Can anybody offer some advise or a solution to AJAX file uploading inside APEX.
    Thanks in advance
    Jan

    Hello All,
    I'm still trying to crack this one. Getting the following error.
    More files were uploaded in this request than the number of file item types defined on the page.I'm using an javascript extension whihc creates and ifram through whihc I'm uploading the file. That seems to be configured properly.
    As for the page setup, I've tried several variations and none seem to work.
    I tried to create a file browser item, and set some hidden html class on it. Then when I use the javascript uploader, I set the value inside the file browser($s('P1_FILENAME', myval)), this was to get over previous errors of
    failed to load sourceNow apex doesn't like that as well, so I'm thinking its just not possible to do a clean javascript file uploader. I guess the only option now is to create a separate page, hide the items and display it into an iframe.
    Any thoughts on fileuploader with javascript inside APEX? Oh, almost forgot to mention that I'm using the fileuploaderfield from sencha.
    Thanks

  • "The upload has failed. There was a problem running a virus scan for the file."  any ideas???

    "The upload has failed.
    There was a problem running a virus scan for the file. "
    This is the message i get when tryng to update
    any ideas?

    Error: "svr.VirusScanExecutionError"
    An intermittent problem with acrobat.com's underlying virus scan component causes this issue. This issue happens occasionally on a small number of server instances.
    The solution is to update the article again. Trying again typically routes you to a different host in the server array.

  • File uploads using jQuery with jquery.fileupload.js fails in Firefox over SSL

    Please see the link below where I originally posted the question.
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27792614/file-uploads-using-jquery-with-jquery-fileupload-js-fails-in-firefox-over-ssl

    Thanks. In my estimation that is exactly the issue. But that doesn't help with a resolution.
    The actual file size: 945,991 bytes
    If Firefox is miscalculating the length (in Safari/Chrome 945991 and 946241 in Firefox), then Firefox is reporting erroneously and should be raised as a bug in Firefox, would you agree?

  • Failed validation of file uploads makes them uneditable

    I have an issue with a file upload field (af:inputFile), such that if an error occurs on submission the error message is not modal and so the user can altar the values and reenable the OK button with an error message still visible.
    I was attempting to get around this since noone seemed to have a way to make the faces error messages modal (Is it possible  to make message popup with error messages modal?).
    I tried putting in a validator for the file... which works just fine (once you manage to actually clear the thing on cancel)... apart from the fact that once the validation fails the file name is shown as read only with an update button instead of a browse button. That update button then opens another dialog with a file upload in it and no matter what you do in this dialog the original one remains unchanged... and can be made visible if you move the new dialog off the top of it.
    Why can I not actually update the file? Why does it open a different dialog with a different input field that doesn't have my validator or binding or value? What can I do to get around this?
    I'm in ADF 11.1.1 but can use 12.1.2 if absolutely necessary for a fix. I don't use JDeveloper.
    Thank you.

    Thank you! Calling resetValue() on the file input component in the validator just before throwing ValidationException does the job!
    I've added the filename to my validation error message so that the user can still see which file it was they tried to upload and I think that solves all my issues

  • File upload Fails in FireFox on SunRays

    We can't get File upload to work with a Browser Running under SunRays on FireFox
    We have finally identified the http problem (http 417) which is causing the IO flash error.
    We tried this on FireFox 3.0 as well as FireFox 3.5.3 both with the same results. Also, I doubt if this is a browser issue because uploading files to the same servlet from a test JSP page works fine. Whatever happens, happens between flash player and the browser.
    After using a simple MXML file (attached below) to test the file upload functionality on different operating systems we have discovered that it brakes with an unusual error when tested on Solaris.
    We put sniffers and clearly noticed the difference in the headers generated by Flash 10 in different OS environments.
    As you can see from the examples below, the later version (the one running on Solaris) has an extra "Expect:" in the header which we believe is responsible for the HTTP 417 error (which, in its turn, is responsible for 2038 thrown by flex)
    Here is a header generated from a functional system: POST /iehs_core_document/FileUploadServlet HTTP/1.1
    Host: dev01.intelligentehs.com:9086
    Accept: */*
    User-Agent: Shockwave Flash

    Content-Length: 755
    Expect: 100-continue
    Content-Type: multipart/form-data; boundary=----------------------------e6d2f5d2c945
    And here is a header generated from OpenSolaris  11 2009.06

    Does anyone deploy to SunRay virtual clients?
    We have a customer who has a ton of them around the world and need to run our Flex based application but File Upload does not work at all... so anyone with any information/ideas on a fix or work around this issue, we would love to hear from you.
    Thanks if advance,
    Anthony
