Filter UI when used in an action

Question

I'm creating a filter that has a UI. This all works fine when its run directly however when run in an action I cannot get the UI to be optional as with most other filters. I don't get the ability to enable/disable the UI in the action itself.
I based by parameter read/writing on the Dissolve example, all data is stored and read correctly but the dialog display option always come back as display and on the action pallet the usual display UI option (depressed square / icon) is not shown or selectable.
This is the code from my WriteScriptParameters function

In the read function playInfo is always set to plugInDialogDisplay, I assume I'm not setting something correctly but I've no idea what.

I dont know if this can help for filter plugin in automation plugin we do it somethin like:
