Filtering of the data based upon the selection screen data using ldb

Hi Experts ,
I am using ldb pnpce, for my report ,and i created my own report category with selection paramaters
action type and payroll area
now the problem is when i am giving the action type as Z0 ,the data to be extracted is not getting filtered
based upon the action type ,the data consists the records having different action types other than Z0
Please give me some solution for this

but my question is when am using get pernr event my data is not getting filtered with the selection screen paramater value
i,e m giving action type as only hiring ,but m getting the data for all the action types ,its not filtering based upon my selection

Hi,
I dont think you need EKPO to fetch your bukrs. It is available in BKPF too.
Use inner join to join MKPF, BKPF, MAKT, fetch all the related entreis.
Use Inner join on MBEW, MCHA for all entries from above query.
use inner join on AUSP for all entries from above query.
Use may use separate queries or inner joins for LIKP and VBAK with for all entries.
Use separate for all entries for BSEG and MSEG. Do not use any JOIN on BSEG as it is a pooled table.
As per the need you may change the queries..

How to retrieve values from Dynamic Selection screen while using LDB - PSJ

I am having problem in PSJ Logical database. In a custom report which is using PSJ LDB, we are using PROJ and PRPS_R tables.
When I run program it displays one dynamic selection screen, there we are giving selection criteria for PRPS (Master data WBS element) - Created on (giving some range like 2011/01/01 to 2011/01/31).
So I want to display all WBS element which are created during the period (2011/01/01 - 2011/01/31).
How do I retrieve the select-option low and high value of the field Created on Of WBS element if we Select data from any table based on this condition.

in fact you don't have to get the values, you only need to tell to the program to take them into account :
GET PRPS.
CHECK SELECT-OPTIONS.

Non serial Invoice data based upon GRPO

Hello Experts,
I want to made report on non serial based items.
Means i want data based upon the following way.
Suppose GRPONo 400 have three items Item A, Item B and Item C.
and suppose Item C is non serial based item,
so i have to get sales data(A/R) of Item C for GRPONo 400 only not the different GRPONO of Item C.
Ex:-
GRPONO     GRPODate     ITEMCode     ItemQty      SaleInvoiceNO            SaleInvoiceDate     SaleInvoiceQty
400     12/12/2009     Item C     50                 900            15/02/2010     30

I want only those Invoice sales data which is actually raised against particular GRPONo.

Thanks for the reply.We are basically used FIFO method for items.
I can able to discover the solution of Serial based items from OSRI and SRI1 table.
But for non serial based items there is no way to discover that particular GRPO Item quanity has been sale against which Invoice NO???????
I want the sales data of Non serial items for particular GRPO Item quantity.
I want to show that particular GRPO qty is sold against which which invoices..
I hope you are more clear about my requirement.

Selection screen versions in LdB

The following questions are related to SAP delivered LdBs that are not for HR.
a) Do you know where the selection screen versions for a delivered LdB are stored?
b) Can additional selection versions be created /delivered selection screen versions modified? Or the authorization for doing the changes is generally not provided.

Try declaring some global variable in the data delclaration event, and pass the values these variable at selection screen, and use them wherever required.

Step 2: Select your DSO just above your contents/requests/reconstruction tabs
Step 3: Click contents(Spectacles symbol) in the top area of your screen

How to update the price based upon PGI date

I have issue of updation of the Prices and freight based on PGI date in the billing we are using the two billing types for the excsies and tax invoice creation .And in the copy control pricing type is maintained Aas "C" for the billing types with single delivery but someHow MRP in the excise billing has been picked from the condition record thats validity is ended and in Tax invoice it picks up the correct prices
Both pricing condition types has pricing type "B" from Billing date and in the freight we have maintained as "A" SRD
But for the some cases specially for the excise related part that is based upon the MRP we are facing this issue
Pricing date is some how coming from sales document

if you see two condition tabs snap shots you can understand clearly because that two invoices has been created in two different dates and you have maintained the pricing date C-billing date ( KOMK-FKDAT).Due to this,the price of ZMRP is coming differently.After you creation of first invoice then you would have changed ZMRP amount.Now while you are creating second invoice ,system has taken new price of ZMRP in billing level.
Note:While creating second invoice, PGI date might have come into billing level but someone would be changed billing date manually at header level of billing document.Please check that one also.

in BPC 10 version for netweaver.
Transaction data is present at backend, But I am not getting data in Internal table after running RSDRI Query.
I am using this code.

Data is coming if i use ID of ACCOUNT directly, for e.g.

APPEND ls_sel TO lt_sel.
so in this case data is coming , but it is not coming for property.

Hi Rishi,
There are 2 steps you need to do,.
1. read all the master data with the property you required into a internal table. in your case use ACCTYPE' = EXP
2. read transaction data with the masterdata you just selected.
Then you will get all your results.

BM_PERF_YR,BM_PERF_MONTH,BM_NOP_CT_1........BM_NOP_CT_31 are the column names.

Formatting a Date based on the user's Locale

I'm having some trouble formatting a date based on the user's locale. I'm aware you can do something like this:

However, this is returning something like Jan 21, 2009. I need 01/21/2009. Of course, if this was the UK locale it'd have to be 21/01/2009. Any help would be appreciated.

another issue I'm running into is that when I'm logged in as a users' locale which uses '-' instead of '/' (i.e. 21-01-2009), I get a parse error. Can anyone provide any input? Thanks.

How can I use an application based upon the Siebel High Interactive Framework?

I ma trying to use an application that is based upon the Siebel High Interactive Framework and can't open the software on my MacBook Pro. IS there any solution to this problem?

My vote is pick up VirtualBox and download Windows 8 Preview, both are free, and see how that goes. Even though a deveoper preview and has IE10 this is my primary OS and browser. Only issue is getting it into a VM but that should be okay, and at least you can decide from there.

How to change Dashboard Tabs based upon the login?

I have a requirement that, based upon the user login the dashboard tabs should change! not sure how to do this? any help is greatly appreciated.

I mean assuming you have a security model, users are in groups etc. And you have one group allowed to access tab 1, and you build tab2 for another group....
The dashboard page properties screen, has a padlock icon against page, here you can set up the presentation catalogue privs for the dashboard page, assign users / groups read access, prohibit access as you see fit.
To get to the page properties, edit the dashboard itself, on the top row of icons against the page dropdown list is our friend, the pointy finger, hit this to get to the page properties screen, you can change order, rename pages and in this case, set security per page.
For discussions on the security model, RPD groups & Web cat groups - best we start another thread !! have a search on the forum first though, its been covered many times :-)

pvonk, you were right, something was amiss. It is just a shared calendar (me and my PA) and nothing I could do would seemingly connect the iCal and cloud accounts.
Late last night I upgraded from OSX 10.7.4 to 10.7.5, as I thought that might resolve some settings or minor corruptions in the way my Mac Book was working.
This morning I opened iCal, and once again it attempted to refresh the page. And a few seconds later my iCloud diary appeared on iCal.
The moral of this issue is I think as follows.... when you check all the settings and follow all the advice, and something like this is still not working then it could be the software is slightly corrupt, so a re-install or applying an update (if there is one available) will help resolve issues.
So spot on advice, something was amiss and is now resolved thanks
