Find icloud on my pc

I switched from mobile me to iCloud and now I cannot find my docs on the PC (Win 7). ow can I find them, and can I add them to the Windows Explorer navigtion?

iCloud is not on your computer or anyone's computer, it is a cloud service.
When you get a new iPhone, simply sign in with your Apple ID and restore from iCloud or restore it via iTunes on the computer, whichever backup is most current.
The backup files are only for restoring an iPhone, they cannot be used/accessed in any other way.

There is no 'earlier' version that supports XP. iCloud launched with Vista/7 support only.

Cant find icloud on my computer

hi, i cant find icloud on my macbook pro, the mac is only 10 months old so i think all software etc is upto date.

To use iCloud you must have at least Mac OS X 10.7.2...if you have that, then go to System Preferences and the iCloud icon will be on the left side under Internet and Network...click on the icon and setup iCloud as you want it to work on your MBP.

You say you have iOS6: you can perfectly well pay to extend your free storage as an ex-MobileMe subscriber.

It should be there. Are you sure the iPad is running iOS 5? You can check in Settings>Genreal>About. The iOS version is shown under Version.

Your profile states that you are using OSX 10.6.8. What exactly do you mean when you say "I did go to lion". Do you have lion or not, OSX 10.7.2 or better is required for iCloud.

You enable iTunes Match on your iPad by making sure your are signed into the Apple ID you used to subscribe in iTunes Match in Settings>iTunes & App Stores, then turning iTunes Match and Show All Music to On.
Also, iTunes Match doesn't use your iCloud storage plan so you don't need to purchase a storage upgrade to use it.

iCloud isn't something that you can selectively download, it comes with the lion operating system. I suspect you do not have the Lion operating system and would need to update your computer to it before you could use iCloud.

As Crizzo stated, you are probably not running the necessary iOS for iCloud.
You can check in Settings>General>About>Version .... To see which iOS the iPad is running. This will explain how to update your iPad. You must do this via iTunes on your computer and you want to make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes installed as well.

After you have updated to iOS 5, you will be able to update over the air in the future without the need to go through iTunes on your computer.

You need to upgrade the computer to at least 10.7.2. Open the Mac App Store and try downloading Mavericks. If you get told it's incompatible, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Xeon or Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) CPU and 2GB of RAM, and if it does, click here and order a download code for Lion 10.7.
Back up your data before upgrading. Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC programs such as versions of Microsoft Office prior to 2008.

If your profile is correct, then you won't find iCloud in system preferences. iCloud only comes with OS X 10.7.2 or better, your profile states that you are using OS X 10.6.8, if so you need to upgrade your operating system.

iCloud requires OS X Lion (10.7.5) or higher. If you’re running OS X 10.6.8 or earlier you will need to upgrade to OS X Lion higher in order to set up iCloud on your Mac. First check to see if your system meets the system requirements to upgrade.
Lion system requirements are:
Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7, or Xeon processor
2GB of memory
OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)
7GB of available space

If you can run Mavericks, you can download a free upgrade from the Mac App Store. 1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.
