Find out skipped employees in PNP report

Hi all,
I heart some time ago that is possible to find out the employee numbers that have been skipped ina report that is based on the LDB PNP.
We have started the RPLICO10 and get the message that several EE have been skipped due to missing authorizations and now we want to find out which EE that are.
Does anyone have an idea?

If it is a custom report, you could.. by checking the variable
pnp-sw-auth-skipped-record & trapping the pernr in a table for dispaly..
The Std report RPLICO10 give you only the count via the function call 'HR_GET_ERRORTAB_FROM_PNP_INFO'.

We need to know how we can find out the Employee ID, Responsibility, Org... who used discoverer during a specific period in the past ? For example the last year.

I'm not sure You can get the responsibilities or the org that was used in that specific run but as for getting when it was run and by whom...

Basically the primary data you are looking for lies in the qpp_stats table...

How to find out the Role ?

Is it possible to find out the correct role throught one query ?
I am not able to find out the role , which my report checking ...user is getting no authoriation for this report and i m not able to figre that which role should assign to his user id .

Hi,
You can check the same through RSRT as well. If you run the query in execute+debug mode and check the Authorization breakpoints you'll see the objects its accessing.
Also check the users role using SU01D or SUIM to see what he currently has. He's lacking the correct business authorization to access values for certain characteristics.

EMployee not shown in PNP report

I have a PNP report in which a spicific employee is not shown and triggerd by the getpernr, in PA20 the employee is shown normally, is there a way to find out why this person is not triggered by getpernr??

Can you write your here as your problem is unique.
We use Get Pernr after spacifying Infotypes statement Like.
INFOTYPES : 0000, 0001, 0002, 0006, 0009, 0021, 0185, 0587.
After that in between START-OF-SELECTION and END-OF-SELECTION WE USE
GET PERNR Event>
START-OF-SELECTION.
GET pernr.
END-OF-SELECTION
Now we use Provide and Endprovide for processing. In between that all the Pernr will come.
So Kindly write your code here for better understanding.

How to find the list of cost centers reporting to a particular employee

Hi Experts,
I have to create one report in Java Web Dynpro. In the report, I have to display all cost centers reporting to a paricular employee. For example suppose Vice President of company has pernr 6481. From pa20, we quickly find out that his cost center is say 1209000. Now the Vice President has several reporting cost centers. For example one cost center will be for Marketing Deptt, other may be of HR deptt.
Please let me know how I can find out that what all cost centers are reporting to pernr 6481(Vice Preseident)

Thanks for email. In my project name has been maintained in CSKS-VERAK. However this name does not matches exactly with the name of pa20 (HR). It looks like SAP has not provided data integrity between HR name and CSKS-VERAK. It seems that while creating cost center, the user enters name in his own way. For example "Al-Fahad Malki" can be written in "Malki Fahad-Al" or "Malki Fahad" or "Al-Malki Fahad". The name of user in pa20 may be "Al-Fahad M". So it is not possible for us to use solution provided by you.

I have used following logic for getting cost centers for given pernr.
1)     Take pernr as input. Exexute RFC HRWPC_RFC_OADP_GET_NAVOBJECTS. While executing RFC pass following values:
a.     OBJSEL - MSS_TMV_EE_ORG1
b.     Begda u2013 Today date
c.     Ends u2013 Today date
d.     User u2013 pernr
e.     Cachemaxage - -1
2)     Then program should read the value of OBJID from HRWPC_RFC_OADP_GET_NAVOBJECTS output.
3)     After this program should read value from HRP1001 for following condition
PLVAR = 01
OBJID = OBJID of step 2
RELAT = u2018011u2019 and
RSIGN = u2018Au2019 and
(check todayu2019s date is >= begda and <= endda ) and
SCLAS = u2018Ku2019 u2026 and
SOBJID = first 10 charactersu2026
The cost center will be first 10 characters of SOBJID.
4)     Return the Cost Center as derived in step 3. The cost center name and cost center name both should be returned as the output.
5)     Sort the Cost Centers in ascending order of Cost Center name, if needed.

How to find out the user from the Jobs queue in Report server

Hello All!
I have a doubt about finding out the user from the scheduled jobs queue. Say I go ahead and schedule a report on Reports Server how can I find out the user name. When I view the jobs using showjobs I could see that the DBMS_JOBS table has a column under "Job Owner". But it invariantly shows it is "rwuser". So is there a way to find out which user has scheduled which job?

In Report Painter, need to find out how a field is defined.

I'm trying to find out how a field used in a current report is defined. For example, columns 2-13 are monthly columns. Double clicking on the column name (April), for example, brings up the box "Element Definition: April;$Year. The Value Field is Net Sales. Clicking the drop down box brings up a group of fields, including Net Sales.
The Field Name for Net Sales is MA0001. How do I find out how this field is defined and what accounts are included in it?

Thank you for your answer. I was able to track 'Net Sales' as a part of a Key Figure Structure and as an element of Key Figure 'Net Sales'. However, when I get into CO-PA, Information System, there is no line for 'Report Components'.
There are the following lines/folders: Display Line Item List, Define Report,Current Settings, Background Processing. I looked at all the possibilities in those line items/folders and nothing was there. Is there another way to get at it?

We have financial reports executed from workspace.In essbase session , only the user id is displayed and the Request type- mdxreport is displayed. We also tried searching the log for Financial report didnt find anything relevant.

STAT will give you the information for a limited period of time and is limited to the server which you are logged onto yourself. Beyond 24 hours it is of even less use even if you change the selection screen values.
If you want it for a period way back into the past, then you need to use ST03N.
There are at least 2 dependencies and 1 confusion:
1 dependency) The length of period is determined by the size (length) of the file. You can change this in ST03N (default 50MB) via the menu settings.
2 dependency) The stat collector jobs need to be scheduled to write the information to ST03N (once per hour is a legal requirement in some non-banana republic countries).
1 confusion) There is an obscure function which converts a report submit to a transaction name (there is not much difference anyway) and an even more obsure one which filters what ST03N will record and therefore whether you can read it. You can (un)filter these things away if you search the SAP Marketplace for the term "MONI".
What is of particular value from this control is that you can even detect a submission of an abap which only existed temporarily.
Also note that having this information is potentially very powerfull with respect to the users (some of them are human too), so you should expose and use it responsibly.
You should also ensure that only responsible users / auditors have access to S_TOOLS_EX.

How do I find out what the name of the reports server is?

Hi Everyone,
I am connecting to a remote machine using gotomypc.com and have started up Reports Builder 10g. I know very little about installation of Oracle on this machine. Just enough to log into Oracle 10g and run tools like the Report Builder, TOAD, etc. When I run a report from the Report Builder I get a web browser with a blank report. It works when I run a paper report. I am guessing that the Reports Server is not running or not configured properly.
Can you tell me how to find out what the name of this Reports Server is and/or how to start it up?

I realize this is old, but... You can find out your servers name by looking at the $ORACLE_HOME\reports\conf\rwservlet.properties file. It has a entry for SERVER. Should also have a corresponding conf file after starting up OC4J and activating the server for developer installs.
Next, you can also run rwdiag. It will show you all report servers available to your installation. This is interesting when Multicast is used by Reports (10g). Ran into issues with servers named the same not on the hardware I was expecting.... ;)

Hi Shaik.
You would not need to write report for this. You need to create a Table view mainenance for the CRMD_ORDERADM_H or CRMD_ORDERADM_I for whichever you need.
Follow the below or search on google for more on table view maintenance.
Go to SE11, give the table name and click on change. Then Go to utilities--> Table maintenance generator.
In the table maintenance generator screen, you should give Authorization Group,
Function Group name (Function Group name can be same as table name),
Maintenance type can be one step or two step, usually you will create with one
step. You should give maintenance screen number. After clicking on create button,
a table maintenance generator will be created.
To check it go to SM30 . In SM30, you find display, Maintain options.
You can view the table contents by choosing Display and supplying the selection criteria of dates.
