Find the previous date

Hello,
If there are a lot of data from the datasource, the BW will provide many data package during extracting into data target in the SAP-BW.
When data were in different data package, I wonder if there is any solution to distiguish the earlies date.
For example
Data Package#1
Dealer-1 sold Product-1 to Customer-1 on 01.12.2005
Dealer-1 sold Product-1 to Customer-1 on 02.12.2005
Data Package#2
Dealer-1 sold Product-1 to Customer-1 on 03.12.2005
Dealer-1 sold Product-1 to Customer-1 on 04.12.2005
Data Package#3
Dealer-1 sold Product-1 to Customer-1 on 05.12.2005
Dealer-1 sold Product-1 to Customer-1 on 06.12.2005
Dealer-1 sold Product-1 to Customer-1 on 07.12.2005
the earliest date that I would like to get is 01.12.2005

In the way I say, in loop you check dates with static variable and if you find a earlier date, update static variable. In static variable you will have the earliest date at the final of process load.
If you want to know it before load process, you should calculate in source system.

Hi,
While updating any request from PSA, you have to delete the first erroneous request from data target and then update the PSA request. If you do not delete the erroneous request, it will not allow you to update the PSA request.

How can I keep all the previous datas in the same array?

I have a problem with keeping the previous datas in my array. The problem is when the iteration loop is executed, I have one or two value(s) stored in the array. The second iteration I have either one or two values (depending on the condition) coming out, but it overwrites my previous value. I want to keep all my data in the same array as the loop is executed.PS. I have attached a simple vi along this message. If anyone can help me out with this, I really appreciate for the help.

If you iterate several times (N > 100) then I would suggest using the Initialize Array outside of the For Loop and then use the Replace Array Subset inside the Loop to populate the array. The reason for this is because the Build Array utility has to locate a new space in memory for the newly concatenated array -- the Replace Array Element utility uses the same memory space.
If you iterate just a few times with a small array then using the Build Array should be okay.

Disable all the previous dates in a calendar form

I am having a calendar form in which it displays all the previous,current,future dates and months.when i click on the particular button on the
calendar it dispalys the date, month, and year.its working fine.But what i need is, i want to disable all the previous dates in the calendar till the current
date.But not to disable the previous button.

Need to know the sqluery to find the disabled date from OIM 9.1.0.1

Hi Experts,
Need very urgent inputs from you all for the preparation of our audit.
We are using OIM9.1.0.1
We need to know the sqlquery for finding the Disabled date in OIM given the user ids, as currently we are unable to get the exact data from Historical Reports Option in OIM.
I need to give in this format:
select usr_login, usr_disabled from schemaname.tablename where usr_login in
('aaa','bbb'..... etc)
We have three attributes :USR_DISABLED_BY_PARENT,USR_DISABLED,USR_DEPROVISIONING_DATE,but none of them give the exact date,
USR_DISABLED gives just a flag as 1 or 0.
Also there are no other fields in the corresponding usr table.
So how to fetch the exact Disabled date from OIM system when I input the user ids.

The best approach would be to open up the SQL Developer, connect with the OIM Database and experiment with all sorts of SQL queries provided by all the experts..
Learn some SQL techniques, like Inner Join etc...
Then you yourself will be able to figure out what you need, in exactly which format, for which users and for whom you have to restrict
Then not only this question, you would be able to solve dozens of similar such issues yourself...
And trust me, nothing can match that...

How to find the PREVIOUS value of a non-DB item?

I want to do a simple thing but found it impossible.
I want to find the previous value of a non-DB item in a form.
I tried creating a text item and populating it using PRE-TEXT-ITEM but that does not work.
WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM does not work either because WVI fires only after item value has changed.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I don't think you're going to be able to do this. The problem is that the data on an audio CD is in a special format (caslled Solomon-Reed Cross Interleave if you really want to know) in which eveything is in a single stream with special error protection, and a table of contents at the beginning listing where each track begins. When you put the CD into a Mac the Finder shows the tracks as AIFF files, but this is an illusion; since the Finder is doing this on the fly it shows them as created at the time of insertion (I don't know why you're getting 'yesterday'). If you drag them to the Desktop then they will be converted to AIFF in the process.
I don't know what a PC does: but the CD's data isn't a computer-type file and doesn't contain the creation date, so it's academic.

I cannot find the new data in the database

I'm newbie at SQL.
I read and watched a lot about the SQL. But still can't figure out the problem.
THE PROBLEM:
we are using accounting software for our business.
the software keeping records of clients names and other information.
when I open the software, i can access everything, but i can't edit the File Number for example.
So I tried to access the files from within windows. Then I learned that the files I'm looking for are called Database.Which brought me to SQL server.
short story: I opened the database using SQL server but it contains only data that are three years old.
How i can find the new data. Right now the database seems to have only 97K records.

well, what i did is open SQL server, selected the database, then scroled to the Clients Table then opened it.
I can only see the ID and Name, other information is always NULL
I scrolled down to the last one which has ID 97000 for example.
Then I went back to the Application, from there i can see the other information about every client, and i can see that this client file was created like three years ago
I started to think that the application is using a different database
even though I searched for any MDF file or a file that was recently edited, I can't find anything else

Oh dear god.
Parse the date using SimpleDateFormat. You can then use Calendar's setTime to set a Calendar instance to your date, and use add(Calendar.DAY_OF_MONTH, -1) to substract a day. getTime() will then provide a new Date. And yes, look it up in the API docs.

How to find the creation date for a released requests..

In se09 tcode , we a date which represents the last changed date .. Now , for a particular Released request i want to find out the Creation date for it . How can i find it . I checked the tables like E070create there also we have requests that not released yet , i have also checked se03 and other tcode and a fn mo dules like TR_READ_GLOBAL_INFO_OF_REQUEST .

1) You can do a number of things, one you can get all of the relevant records and sort the internal table by date and time in decending order, then simply read the first record of the internal table.
2) It depends on the key of the table. Say for example, you have a table like so.
MANDT
KEYFIELD
DATE
TIME
If the key alreays exists, you can use the modify statement to update the record, if it dosn't exists, you need to use the INSERT statement to insert the records.
data: xtab type ztable.
xtab-keyfield = 'ABC'.
xtab-date = '20070207'. " or sy-datum
xtab-time = '221600'.    " or sy-uzeit.
insert ztable from xtab.
Make sure to use internal fomat for DATE and TIME.

Dummerweise gibt es die Funktion in LV8 noch nicht... (Deshalb ist es immer eine gute Idee zu sagen, mit welcher LV-Verson man arbeitet!)
Du kannst aber unter vi.lib/utility/RecursiveDirList.llb nachschauen, wie es gemacht wird
