Finder not "releasing" items copied to Airport HDD?

I'm in the process of moving some files from my MBP to a Western Digital My Book 750GB attached to my AEBS. The MBP is connecting to the AEBS by ethernet (due to inexplicable wireless issues…).
I am dragging and dropping the file, and once copy is complete the destination file briefly forms a thumbnail, but then the thumbnail disappears and instead the file becomes greyed-out. Clicking on it reveals the size to be other than it ought to be (varies between zero KB and approximately half the intended size).
I've found that by copying a second file into the same folder, the greyed-out one suddenly resolves itself and becomes available, in perfect working condition. The second file suffers the same problem as the first, however.
Just now, I tried to move (by drag and drop) the greyed-out file into another folder on the remote HDD, and got the following message:
"Some of the items you are moving are in use by another application. Moving the items can cause problems with the application using them. Are you sure you want to move these items?"
It seems as though the Finder isn't releasing the copied files the way it should after the copy process is finished. Is this a bug, or can someone offer a different explanation?

Got exactly the same problem. Tried the disk utility and it says there is access control problems and repairs it. However when reconnected to the airport extreme still problems in copying. This is not limited to one HDD or computer as have tried several HDD's, and a laptop and a iMac. All with same results. I find that if I copy the file a second time, stop it before it has completed the second duplication, the first file seems to fix itself. Seems to be a problem with Snow Leopard rather than the drives as its happening over several drives and computers (running 10.6.2), and on different sides of the world. Didn't have issues with Tiger. p.s HDD are formatted HFS+ and when directly connected via USB everthing is sweet. Also this is the only post I can find of this problem, surely not limited to just two people?

I apologize. You see, when the blank Desktop popped up, it was past 1:30 AM in the morning (PST) and with my twenty plus years of Mac user experience with several years actually doing Mac support, I just couldn't swallow my pride and ask for help on this forum.
I was also hesitant about pointing a finger at the eSATA Express Card(s); I have two: one has dual sockets and the other, single but OWC claimed it's bootable. And it did boot up the external 500g LaCie - once so I can't really pin it down to the Express Card. The dual card bought from Frys' has been working fine, very sweet.
BTW, even with FW800 connected, the errant drive still made the Desktop disappear. I know, LaCie drives do not support simultaneous and different connections, i.e. FW800 or eSATA or USB although FW800 and FW400 sockets work nicely together.

I've had this happen a few times before. What I found works is repairing the permissions. To do so click on go and then to utilities. click disk utilities. In disk utilities select the drive and click repair permissions. It may take a little time but try accessing after that.

Back up all data.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. PRs not finding a release strategy

Hi All,
I am having a issue with creating PRs, when i create PR with one line item, it is finding the release strategy but when i create PR for more than one line item SAP can't find the release strategy.
The only common factor for the problem would appear to be that they are multi-line PRs.
Please help what should i do.

2.Using Header level release strategy
Thus this material group is aggregated at header level and " " value

look for a release strategy. Now the system sets the material class
to 'blank' and tries to find a release strategy. If you do not have
defined a blank entry in the customizing.

system won't find a release strategy.
Add a blank value to your allowed characteristic values in your
release strategy. To do this you can define a blank value in your
characteristic (CT04). On the values screen leave the char.value
blank and add a description and save.

CT04 > PO_MATERIAL_GRP has blank entry
SO JUST maintain it in customising of Release strategy.

Thanks for you suggestion but it didn't work - are there other ways for solving this problem? Or is it because my files that I want to copy and paste onto my hard disk etc are too big? (However there is space on my hard disk and it works on a PC)

Software Update is not finding latest release (April 3) of Java 2012 001 Update on my iMac mid-2007, but it downloaded it automatically on my iMac mid-2011 yesterday. Both are running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3. When I try to download the update manually from Apple on my older iMac, it downloads okay, but when I try to open the dmg file, I get a warning message saying that opening this update may make your computer LESS secure. Do you want to proceed? (I did not).
Why would Software Update find this update and install it automatically on one iMac and not the other, if they are both running the same version of Mac OS X Lion? I checked the installed software list on my old iMac and the Java update does not appear there. Why would this update make my old iMac less secure?

Recall that Java is not installed as part of Lion.
You have to install it (and are asked if you want to) when you first try to run some java stuff.
Is it possible that the iMac 2007 does not have Java yet?
Try this: open Terminal (from Utilities) and type java -version (exactly like that, with the space before the hyphen).
What do you get?
Consistent with this theory is that the dmg thing gave you the warning - installing java might make your machine less secure because java is a means for bad guys to try to do bad things to your computer.

I agree and find it odd, but then, there is only the most rudimentary and superficial 'notes' -
iTunes 9 also includes many other improvements, such as HE-AAC encoding and playback, more flexibility with Smart Playlists rules, simpler organization of your media files inside an iTunes Media folder, and more.

I’m not sure what you mean by not saved, but if you expect to copy a current translated page into a new page, and inherent the translation in the new page, the answer is NO, it’s not saved.
Adding a new page to your application, even by copying an existing page, is a major change in your primary language application, which create multiple new independent elements in your application (after the page has been copied, there isn’t any link between it and the original page). You need to re-seed the primary application, export a new XLIFF file, and translate the new <trans-unit> that were added to it.

I have two databases called "*Report*" and "*Production*". I have a report database which copy a data from production database. I want to write a Stored procedure to compare the count of one table in both the databases. All the tables are same in both the databases.
Please note :*
1. We are writing the procedure to find out the data copy is happening or not and also report database is down or not.
2. Not all times, the both the count is same, sometimes it take delay to copy the data in report database but report database is not down.
Please see the query to compare

I am suggesting to take a count for every 5 mins and keep in temp table and compare it.

How are you replicating the data from the production database to the reporting database?
Wouldn't it make more sense to monitor that replication process rather than counting every row in the table every 5 minutes? That's going to get rather expensive for non-trivial tables. If you are using something like Streams to replicate the data, it would make far more sense to monitor the Streams apply process, to determine when the reporting database it updated as of, than it would to monitor the underlying tables.

Firstly, have you maintained TCCS in your forwarding agreement?
You migt have inserted new item. However, there are no TCCS maintinaed in that agreement item.
In such cases those error messages are displayed. Restricting you from releasing the agreement.
Other cases:
is your TCCS local?
If your TCCS is global then ideally the charge usage should be any of the below: "customer", "Customer & service" or "ALL" for Forwarding Agreement to consume it.
For Local TCCS by defalut charge usage will be set to "Customer".
If Local, check whether have you missed any mandatory fields like amount, Currency.
If there are any % charge line, then the refrence number would have been missing or you might be referencing incorrectly.
For Global TCCS if any of the above is incorrectly maintianed it will not allow you to save the TCCS.
If you can attach the screenshot of the TCCS it will be helpful for me to solve your issue.
