FBLPD1: Error creating BP from customer

Hi,
We are trying to migrate the master data from FI-AR to FSCM and, at a first we tried to use the transaction code MDS_LOAD_COCKPIT. But, for some reason that it was not clear the system did not creat the customer.
In that sense, we tried to create the business partner based on the customer data by using the transaction code FBLPD1 but the system gives an error message indicating that it was not possible.
By checking the transaction code MDS_PPO2 we check that the error given was:
"Address type XXDEFAULT does not exist: Address usage XXDEFAULT cannot be created"
"Application object BUPA: There is no BAPI field to screen field assignment"
"Address type XXDEFAULT does not exist: Address usage XXDEFAULT cannot be created"
Do you guys know what could be the issue ?
PS: Configuration done by using OSS Note 954816 and 956054.

Thanks for your feedback.
I implemented the OSS Note 1254483 and i had also to add the XXDEFAULT entry in table TB009. After that it seemed to work.
But, i had a new error that, by checking the MDS_PPO2 transaction it stated:
"Application object BUPA: There is no BAPI field to screen field assignment"
"Enter an Industry".
In our customer we use the field "Industry Sector" and so i checked the view V_TBZ3R_BD (for BUPA object). The option "INDUSTRYSECTOR" is there so i'm guessing that in that view things are ok...
Do you know what it can be ?

I am creating BP from customer using cockpit transaction. While running PPO, I am getting the below two error for single customer.
No transfer of interval for object BU_PARTNER
Message no. NR028
Diagnosis
The last number of the internal interval should be assigned.
Number assignment usually begins in the following call at the start of the interval. However this function is blocked for some number range objects for technical system reasons.
Procedure
If possible extend the interval of the affected number range object. If this is not possible you must reorganize the relevant data and reset the interval status manually.
Business partner ##1 does not exist
Message no. R1201
Please suggest.

check the number ranges of the customer account group, and the BP role to ensure they are aligned.

Thread: 11gPS2 : Error creating model from wsdl while creating a WebService

Hi ,
I am trying to create a Web Service Proxy using Jdev.I am using a WSDL file located in my local system for the same. I choose all default options but the proxy is not created due to the following error -
"Error creating model from wsdl <wsdl_name> : A class/interface with the same name xyz already in use"

I found a few threads which had similar issues but the solutions didnot work for me -
1)Error creating model from wsdl (Create separate model projects for proxies , since in the existing model project I already had generated files using create WebServiceData control wizard)
2)Error when creating Web Service Proxy (there are no duplicate variables or schemas in my wsdl)
Can someone please suggest what might be wrong ?

However system doesn't respond anything after running the transactions .

You get this error if the liquidity items in FLQC2/FLQC13 and buffer item field of flqad selection screen are same.
Buffer item refers to liquidity items assigned to vendor/customer recon accounts.
To avoid this error donot use liquidity items from FLQC2/FLQC13 in FLQAD buffer item.

ORA-01152 error while creating db from custom template

I have a database based on the "general purpose/transaction processing" db, but with a custom tablespace/data added. I have attempted to clone this database by using dbca to create a custom template (including data) from this database. The template creation appears to be successful -- however, when I use dbca to try to create a new db from this custom template, I get the following error when dbca attempts to initialize the instance:
ORA-01152: file 5 was not restored from a sufficiently old backup
ORA-01110: data file 5: <path to my custom tablespace .dbf>
If I select "ignore" at this point, I get further errors, the next error is
ORA-06550: line 1, column 7: PLS-00201: Identifier 'DBMS_SERVICE.DELETE_SERVICE' must be declared
I'm using 11gR2, and am relatively inexperienced on the dba side, any help appreciated.

Update: I had unintentionally left my custom tablespace in READONLY state after an earlier experiment with transportable tablespaces. After putting the tablespace back into READ WRITE mode and creating a new template, I was successfully able to create a new db from the template.
I'm still a little curious why this procedure wouldn't work properly with a READONLY tablespace, however.

Error creating Universe from BW query

Hi
Creating the Universe connected to BW query (BI 7).
Connection is proper and universe designer is connected to BW system without any problem. I have already used many queries to connect to universe and webi documents has been developed.
The only difference in this BW query is, it is using hierarchy with 'derivation type' in 'select hierarchy date'.
BW query is working as expected in BEx designer.
This is the error message when trying to create the universe from BW query -
Error getting dimensions for cube <infoprovider name>/<query name>(catalog <infoprovider name>): Unknown error when executing MDX

Error creating subsite from template - SharePoint 2010

I appreciate the help from anyone who can help in my situation.
I am trying to create a subsite whose parent is a SharePoint Server 2010 website. When I'm doing that, I go to:
Site Actions > Create > Sites and Workspaces
My purpose is to create a subsite using the "Web Databases > Issues Web Database" template. When I do that, the page tries to create a website for a long time, and when it finishes, the following error message page appears:

Someone has recently made changes to this site and the site is being updated. If the site remains offline for an extended period of time, contact a site owner. Wait

However, when I use another template, say "Collaboration > Team Site", such website is created successfully and is fully functional.
Can anybody help me with this issue? My vast expertise in SharePoint extends to one week. I have no idea how to figure this out.

You have to make sure you did the following:
Created a Access Service Application
(Central Administration – Manage Service Applications – New – Access Services)
Started the Access Database Service
(Central Administration – Manage Services on Server)
then open up the SharePoint 2010 Management Shell, and give the following powershell command: enable-spSessionStateService –DataBaseName <SomeNewDatabaseName>
above command will create a session state database and turns on the session state service.

Hi Kartik,
You will get the following error message, if you have done some changes and you have not saved before trying to generate the webservice.
Please save all the changes before trying to generate the webservice.
Also, if your goal is to just generate the function module, this can also be alternatively done, but not from the UI.
You can try the same by executing the method GENERATE_RFC of the class CL_FDT_WEB_SERVICE and pass the required inputs. The only differnece between both this method is that in the webservice method you also have to provide the webservice related attributes, whereas in the other method you do not have. This funcitonality has not yet been ex[posed on the UI.

LMS 4.2 Create Portlet from Custom Poller

Hi folks,
I create a custom poller, and would like to add it as a portlet. I see that histo and live-graph it allow you to configure custom values, but they don't seem to accomplish what I need. I'd just like a portlet showing the specific output from the poller I created, not one where I have to select a specific device, a specific MIB, etc (already did that with the poller).
Any ideas? The poller has a specific handful of devices defined already; it seems redundant to then have to definte them all again within Live Graph It.

I need some help:
When I try to create a purchase order from a quotation work item (QUOT),it displays some error messages. but this hasn't always happended, in
other case it displays a successfully message and it doesn't display anyerror messages.
Bad Case:
When I run the transaction BBP Bid Invitation Cockpit (web SRM), I writea BID number and push button Start, then I select a bid accepted. At last
I push button "Generate Purshase Order" and it displays a error message.
Good Case:
Idem but with other BID and it displays a successfutlly message.
Debugging this transaction from SRM using external breakpoint in some

I can help you with some of your problems:
1) Vendor xxxxxx not intended for purch. org.
To fix this, access BBPMAININT transaction (Manage Business Partner) and edit Business Partner Data. Go to tab "Vendor data" and insert a new line for the Purchasing Organization: insert a Purch. Org. that is the same as the one that you are trying to create the PO with.
2) No logical system for RI is maintained. Inform system admin.
What would RI be?
3) Enter the comapny code.
Check Vendor data as previously suggested by Kathirvel.
4) Incorrect interface data for set PDORG in method C.
No idea.
5) Output: No details for medium PRN in vendor master record.
Right now the output default value is PRINTER. Here you have to options: you can either define a different standard output for the vendor, which can be mail, fax, etc. OR you can access PPOMA_BBP and insert a valid printer in the attributes tab for parameter "Default Printer". Do that in the company level, for example.
5) Delivery date more than a year in the future
This is probably a warning because the purchase requisition items had a delivery date way to far ahead.

The PDF was not created. I actually did try creating a PDF of just the first 5 pages of the document which included no graphics at all, just straight text, and I got the same exact error with no PDF created. I've also tried removing the headers and footers and choosing another section of the document and still I get the exact same error with no PDF.
If I create an entirely new document and type a bunch of text and try saving that as a PDF, it saves without a problem. But retyping my 200 paged document is not exactly an option. Merely removing a portion of the document, resaving it, and trying to create a PDF out of it doesn't seem to work either. I feel like it would be a whole lot of work involving a whole lot of time I currently don't have to track down the issue within the document. I would be happy if the software would simply replace the font, at least then I'd have an idea of where the problem lies. I believe there is also a setting to tell the program to warn of problems but create the PDF anyway. I marked that as well and it still failed to create a PDF. So far I can't seem to get any other error other than what I posted above no matter what I try.
My apologies if I sound frustrated, the truth is I am. I thought this would be a simple process to convert the word document into a PDF. Who knew it would be the hardest part??

How to display exception on error page raised from custom login module?

I've created my own login module and I am using form authentication mechanism.
Here is how my login and error pages defined in web.xml:
    <login-config>
      <auth-method>FORM</auth-method>
      <form-login-config>
        <form-login-page>/logon.jsp</form-login-page>
        <form-error-page>/error.jsp</form-error-page>
      </form-login-config>
    </login-config>
But when my login module throws an exception (LoginException) the following code in <i>error.jsp</i> returns null:
<%=request.getAttribute("javax.servlet.error.message")%>
though this code works good on Weblogic.
Declaring the <i>error.jsp</i> also in the <error-page> tag didn't help.
So what did I miss to configure?
Or maybe NetWeaver doesn't allow to get the exception from the <form-error-page> at all?

Creating Frames from Custom Pattern

I am following instructions found in Issue 24 of Photoshop Creative which describe how to create a custom frame for a photo using a pattern you define. In the article they're using the fur of a leopard.
The instructions state as follows:
1) Select what you want as a pattern.
2) Copy and paste it into a new document.
3) Go to Filter...Pattern Maker.
4) Click the Use Image Size checkbox.
5) Click the Use Clipboard as Sample checkbox.
6) Click Generate until you see a pattern you like.
7) Click Save.
Now the next steps I assume take place in the photo where you want the frame. It doesn't say this specifically but the screenshots indicate so.
1) Duplicate background layer.
2) Hide the bottom background.
3) Select All.
4) Select..Modify...Contract
Here is where my problem is. At this point Contract is grayed out. I have tried changing the Image Mode to 8-bit but that doesn't help. What is required to have "Contract" available?
For the sake of anyone interested, the rest of the instructions are:
5) Invert the selection.
6) Press Delete.
7) Create a new layer.
8) Edit...Fill.
9) Select the pattern.
Adding styles. It then goes one to add a bevel and emboss layer.
