Finding a sequence
I have a sequence in my time line, but it's not showing up in the browser above (FCP6). I've looked for it by file name in finder, but no avail. I need to make a copy of this sequence and I'm not sure how to accomplish this. Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks
I tried Shift+F and it finds the clip, but not the sequence. I think that I may have saved it off in another project that was inadvertently open at the time within that project. It's been hellish to find that particular missing project and sequence. Is there any other way to locate a specific sequence outside of having a project open? Does FCP have any such facility... I looked but nothing seemed obvious. I tried Finder, but nada.
Thanks,

Finding missed sequence numbers and rows from a fact table
Finding missed sequence numbers and rows from a fact table
Hi
I am working on an OLAP date cube with the following schema:
As you can see there is a fact transaction with two dimensions called cardNumber and Sequence. Card dimension contains about three million card numbers.
Sequence dimension contains a sequence number from 0 to 255. Fact transaction contains about 400 million transactions of those cards.
Each transaction has a sequence number in 0 to 255 ranges. If sequence number of transactions of a card reaches to 255 the next transaction would get 0 as a sequence number.
For example if a card has 1000 transactions then sequence numbers are as follows;
Transaction 1 to transaction 256 with sequences from 0 to 255
Transaction 257 to transaction 512 with sequences from 0 to 255
Transaction 513 to transaction 768 with sequences from 0 to 255
Transaction 769 to transaction 1000 with sequences from 0 to 231
The problem is that:
Sometimes there are several missed transactions. For example instead of sequence from 0 to 255, sequences are from 0 to 150 and then from 160 to 255. Here 10 transactions have been missed.
How can I find all missed transactions of all cards with a MDX QUERY?
I really appreciate for helpsThank you Liao
I need to find missed numbers, In this scenario I want the query to tell the missed numbers are: 151,152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159
Relative transactions are also missed, so I think it is impossible to get them by your MDX query
Suppose this:
date
time
sequence
20140701
23:22:00
149
20140701
23:44:00
150
20140702
8:30:00
160
20140702
9:30:00
161
20140702
11:30:00
162
20140702
11:45:00
163
As you can see the sequence number of the last transaction at the 20140701 is 150
We expecting that the first transaction of the next day should be 151 but it is 160. Those 10 transactions are totally missed and we just need to

The function was not executed because it was attempted at an illegal time.
When I do the find reference sequence in MAX, it works fine. But I need I programmatically after the initialization sequence. Does anyone had the same problem?Hi,
Could you please post a little bit more informations regarding the board you are using, lv version, ni-motion version and perhaps the code, you have programmed and which is generating the error message?
Thanks.

The flat sequence is just available in LV version 7.0 and newer.
In LV 6.1 you have to use the stacked sequence-structure.

Find which sequences use a piece of media
How do I find which sequences in a project use a particular audio track? (Preferably it'll open the sequence too and show me where in the sequence it is used too).
Is there a way?Or, if you prefer, display the Video Usage +/or Audio Usage properties as columns in the Project panel's List View. Then you can see the usage number for each clip at a glance without having to select it. As with the usage display in the Preview Area that Shooter refered to, you can open a pulldown menu showing each instance, and selecting one takes you to the instance.

Where do I find the sequence file name inside the Expression Browser?
HI,
I would like post the user with a simple question of whether this is the sequence file he meant to load. I want to use an expression rather then typing the question. The problem is that I don't seem to find the proper expression for that. I looked inside "RunState.SequenceFile" and I find everything related to my sequence file except to its name.
Can you help me?
Thanks
RafiHi Rafi2003,
The SequenceFile doesn't have a Name property. It has a Path property instead.

Find the SEQUENCE created by an IDENTITY column
Hello,
Seems that Oracle 12c introduces IDENTITY columns based on SEQUENCES that are created automatically...
The sequence gets a name like ISEQ$$_<number>
I was wondering if it's possible to find the name of the sequence created for a given table.
We need that to query the last generated number, by doing:
select <seqname>.currval from dual
Or is there another way to find the last generated number for the current SQL session???
Thanks!
Seb

Yes, this is simplest way. But just FYI, 12C has a new data dictionary table SYS.IDNSEQ$ which ties identity column to a sequence. I'll use same table t1 as in this post:
SQL> select data_default
2 from user_tab_columns
3 where table_name = 'T1'
4 and column_name = 'KEY'
5 /

7 and c.table_name = o.object_name
8 and c.column_name = 'KEY'
9 and i.obj# = o.object_id
10 and i.intcol# = c.column_id
11 and s.object_id = i.seqobj#

FInding missing sequence number
Dear All
I have a column in table like this (actually its just a sample):
TAB
MMxxxx9988
MMxxxx9990
MMxxxx9995
MMxxxx9998
MMxxxx9999
MMxxxx0000
MMxxxx0001
MMxxxx0003
MMxxxx0004
MMxxxx0005
MMxxxx0008
xxxx is variable
last four digit is a sequence number start with 0000 and end with 9999.
when the last four digit exceeds 9999 it reset to 0000
My question is : how can we find the missing sequence number for that column.
example:
for the above table , it should give the below result:

Open the JavaScript console (Ctrl+J) and enter the following lines of code:
app.getPath("user", "sequences");

With the cursor on the first line, press Ctrl+Enter, or Enter on the numeric keypad. It should be at the path that gets displayed. If it's not there, try doing the same for the second line. -
How to find which sequence name is used in a table
Hi..
I have a table.. it uses some sequence name..
But how can we find that the table is using so and so sequence...
From which USER_* table is used for that
thanksuser5451445 wrote:
I know this is an old thread but I was in the position of the original author and I use this, based on responses here I make this query that can be useful when the sequence is attached to the table using triggers (the most common scenario). I would agree that the most common use of a sequence is probably to generate a PK for a table.
I would agree that, when using a sequence to generate a PK, using a trigger is best practice.
But those two agreements do NOT add up to validating you assumption that "attaching" a sequence to a table using a trigger is the most common scenario.. Many shops feel that triggers are inherently evil and forbid there use. Even without that, many developers refuse to use the facilities of the database and insist on putting everything in their app code. Thus, even when using a sequence, they embed it in their app, thus allowing the use of the sequence to be bypassed by other code.
And in the case of someone trying to locate the use of the trigger, they must keep in mind that not all application code is in PL/SQL modules - it may very well exist completely outside of the database and thus be invisible to any query you could run on the database.
Let's say we have a table tblproceso and a sequence proceso_id_seq, we wrote a trigger that put the next value from the sequence on every INSERT. With this query we can see in what table we use sequences like 'proceso_id_seq':
select trigger_body, table_name
from user_triggers
where triggering_event = 'INSERT'
and UPPER(dbms_metadata.get_ddl ('TRIGGER', trigger_name)) LIKE '%PROCESO_ID_SEQ%'
This will show the trigger body and the name of the table where it's used
Hope this can help other users with this scenario -
Shell script to find MAX(SEQUENCE#) of primary and standby DB.

I am looking for a shell script which does the following:
Use SQL*Plus to query the MAX(SEQUENCE#) from both databases i.e., Primary and standby V$LOG_HISTORY view. If the STANDBY appears to be falling behind by 2 archive log files, then send alert mail to: [email protected]
