Finding transport - object association

Hi!
I'm usually using SE10 to find which object (program, table, function module, etc...), in which transport requests was modified.
In some systems, due to the really high number of transports, it could take a lot of time.
I would like to know, is there a way to find an object, which transport is associated with.
Tables, transactions, everything is welcome.
Thank you
Tamá

Sure,
On the object you have, you can look for the transport orders checking the versions control,  for example on the data dictionary (SE11) go to utilities -> Versions->Version Management.

  • Function module to find table entries associated with transport request

    Hi all,
       I have requirement, like we have created a table and maintenance view for that table - and made entries in that table.
       now we want to know all the entries made in the table are associated with transport request or not.
      how to do it programmatically?? is there any function module which gives the result for transport object associated with the table entries ?????
    Thanks
    Sathish

    Hi,
    Use the table <b>E071K</b>
    in se16 give :
    request number in TRKORR
    Table name in OBJNAME
    in the filed TABKEY u will get the <b>values of the key fields</b> in the table
    by comparing the key fields u can find out the enrties related to the request number
    Please let me know if i am not clear

    Hi Jolene,
    You can try to look up tables RSUPDROUT and RSUPDINFO.

  • Extending view object which does not have any entity object associated with

    Dear all
    I am interested in extended on of the standard pages VO object in JDeveloper OA extension
    the standard page is oracle/apps/pos/supplier/....suppSummaryPG
    and one of the view which I am interested to extend is suppSummVO
    the problem is that when I copy xml files and java files from apps server to
    my local jdevelope folder , I am not able to open that suppSummVO, the changes which
    I find from other VO object and this(suppSummVO) object is that, this VO does not have any
    Entity Object associated with it and the only query is return on this VO , is it the reason that
    I am not able to open it Jdeveloper, but the real issue is that how can I extends this type of VO
    in my OAExtension.
    Regard
    Noman

    Its the same way of extending VO with EO's or without EO's.
    Sometimes if the .class files arn't decompiled we get weird jbo errors. So use cavaj/jad to decompile those Impl.class, RowImpl.class files and keep them in the same folder as vo.xml in myprojects and try extending that VO.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    We are able to export the CIM file, while importing it in the target SLD, it is showing
    1.
    "The target namespace for the special import already contains data for one or more export lines. Continuing this import may corrupt the state of your data."
    2.
    when i hit on "anyway import" it is showing "
    "Import finished with 8 errors: 9 of 17 objects loaded  (Details)". when i hit on details
    3.

  • Webi reports and objects associated with uiverses

    Hi,
    I want to know the list all universes associated with wei reports and their objects (database field) using query builder.
    I am using select * from ci_infoobjects where si_kind='Webi'. I could able to get the universe associated with webi report in fielf si_webi_doc_properties.
    1) How can I get only UnvName from XML
    2) How to get objects associated with a webi reports

    Hi Jaya,
    Have you also tried finding the report within CMC and then right clicking and selecting relationships? It should show you all Universes associated with your report. If you meant all reports related to a Universe, you can do the same for the Universe.
    Thanks

  • Transport objects

    Dear All,
                  I am working on a Training server which odnt have development-quality-Production system seperately, Only one system is there.
                       Now the issue what i facing is the BASIS team is going to refresh the system tommorrow and they said me the copy all your objects in a transport request and give them the request number .Later after refreshing they will paste my objects back to the system.
    But i dont know how to make a transport request in this single training system.Can any one help me on this .Please provide a detailed and step wise solution to this issue..
    Varun

    HI Varun,
    First create a Package in SE80(Object Navigator).
    use tcode rsa1.
    Click on Transport Connection button.
    click object types.
    add which objects you required to be transported.
    check Grouping tab whether it is "data flow before if you are collecting your cube or ods".according to your selection objects you can use this tab like data flow before, data flow after etc....
    place all your objectsin the right sidel........
    use Transport object(truck icon)............
    after this it will ask you to use existing request or create a request. As per your requirement create a request............
    use se01/se09/se10.............
    here you can find your created request...... under that tasks will be there.........release all subtasks first...........after that you can release that particular request or ask your basis team to release that particular request...............
    inform your Basis team to take Back-up of that request so that after they will refresh , you can again use your previous objects.
    Thanks,

  • Eligibility Profile and all Objectives associated with it

    Hello
    I am a techie and can't find the link in the back end between the ben_eligy_prfl_f table where all the profiles are kept and the hr.per_objectives_library table where all the objectives associated with each eligibility profile is kept.
    However when i logg into the front end and i go into Employee Self Service > Talent Management > and i choose a plan then i see all the objectives associated with the employee's profile.
    How did oracle do it?
    There is no clue for me in the 'About page'
    Does anyone know how you can find the eligibility profile in the back end and then link it to the Objectives table to see every objective associated with a eligibility profile?
    I am sorry i had to post techie stuff on here but since you do this all the time maybe u have a better idea
    regards
    Ian

  • BC: Unable to find referenced object

    Hi OTN,
    while working on my ADF BC application I oftenly see a following message at JDev start:
    Business Components: Unable to find referenced object
         Object=...
         Owner=...I usally check those business components and can't see any malfunction in their definition.
    Yesterday I encountered strange behaviour while inserting new rows in linked view objects. It seemed that there was no entity association (key cascade update didn't work) and new row in linked VO wasn't commited at all.
    Today at JDev startup I see two messages with "Unable to find referenced object" and "Owner" in the messages is pointing to ViewLink based on the strangely-working association. "Objects" in the messages are pointing to attributes on which association is built.
    What does this message mean and could this issue be concerned to framework unexpected behavior while inserting new rows?
    Business Components comes from compiled jar library.
    Thanks.
    Jdev 11.1.1.3

    its a good practice in my opinion to close your project before shutting down the JDEV so next time when you open you will not able to see strange behaviors.

  • Finding matchcode object help

    how to find matchcode object of a field which is already exizted in se11.
    for eg. i want to find matchcode object of a field Parnr from table IHPA.
    regds

    Hi,
    PARNR from IHPA doesn't associated with any search help/match code.
    YOU can find two ways whether a search help is associated with a field .
    1.SE11->Table->IHPA->Click on Entry Help/Check -> select the field(PARNR) click on Search help button, if a search help is available it will display.
    2.SE11->DataType->PARNR(display)->Click on Further Characterstics tab-> here you can see the search help associated with it.
    <i>Hope This Info Helps YOU.</i>
    Regards,
    Raghav

    The compiler doesn't know that you're only putting Strings in as keys. HashMap takes references to Object as keys and hence returns references to Object in keySet(). Note, however, that the object itself is still what you put in there. But the compiler only has the declared return type of the method to look at.
    // pre 1.5
    for (Iterator iter = set.iterator(); iter.hasNext();) {
        String key = (String)iter.next(); // cast Object to String. Only works if you actually put a String in
        // do stuff with key
    // 1.5, if you don't use generics
    for (Object obj : set) {
        String key = (String)obj;
        // do stuff with key
    // 1.5, with generics
    Set<String> set = ...;
    for (String key : set) {
        // do stuff with key
    }Since you have a Map, you'll have Map<String, SomeValueType>.

  • Transporting Objects

    Dear BW Experts,
    I have few questions about transports. Would you please guide me thruough this, my understanding of the concepts is not clear.
    Question 1:
    what is the <b>difference between Collecting objects at the object level</b> for eg: Infopackage >> Object Catalog Entry >> Enter developmet package and request id
    and <b>doing it at the RSA1 >> Transport connection</b> and selecting objects and click on the Transport objects truck.
    Do these 2 functions mean the same ? Please advise.
    Question 2:
    Do we collect / transport the Transfer rules, Communication Structure and the DataSource, too ?? Little background on this is, the ODS_21 is feeding the new ODS_22. The ODS_21 is already there in QA & Prod. Please advise.
    Question 3:
    This ODS_22 is feeding new cube CUBE_001, so do i collect the Transfer rules, Communication Structure and the DataSource, too ?
    Please advise.
    Thank you,
    T I

    Hello San,
    Thank you for clearing that up. It sure helps. Since this Cube_001 is not feeding any other targets, there is no export datasource for this. so, i think there is no need in this situation.
    I was hoping if you could help me with this. When i collect the infopackge to transport, would i enter a check mark to collect the infosource, communication strusture and transfer structure. Since there are no changes made i felt there is no need to collect them but just wanted to get some expert opinion.
    Please advise.
    Regards,
    TI

  • Hi,how can i transport objects from one server to other like (Dev To Qty)

    Hi Sir/madam,
       Can u explain how can i transport objects from one server to other like (Development To Quality To Production).
    Regards,
    Vishali.

    Hi Vishali,
    Step 1: Collect all Transports(with Packages) in Transports Tab(RSA1)- CTO
    Step 2: Release the subrequests first and then the main request by pressing Truck button
    Step 3: STMS or Customized transactions
    Object Collection In Transports:
    The respective Transports should have the following objects:
    1. Base Objects -
    a. Info Area
    b. Info object catalogs
    c. Info Objects
    2. Info Providers u2013
    a. Info Cubes
    b. Multi Providers
    c. Info Sets
    d. Data Store Objects
    e. Info Cube Aggregates
    3. Transfer Rules u2013
    a. Application Components
    b. Communication Structure
    c. Data Source replica
    d. Info Packages
    e. Transfer Rules
    f. Transformations
    g. Info Source Transaction data
    h. Transfer Structure
    i. Data sources (Active version)
    j. Routines & BW Formulas used in the Transfer routines
    k. Extract Structures
    l. (Note) If the transfer structures and related objects are being transferred without preceding
    Base Objects transport (e.g. while fixing an error) it is safer to transport the related Info
    Objects as well.
    4. Update Rules u2013
    a. Update rules
    b. Routines and formulas used in Update rules
    c. DTPs
    5. Process Chains u2013
    a. Process Chains
    b. Process Chain Starter
    c. Process Variants
    d. Event u2013 Administration Chains
    6. Report Objects u2013
    a. Reports
    b. Report Objects
    c. Web Templates
