FiOS TV APP not supported on Samsung UN60H6350AFXZA LED TV

Hi,
I recently bought a Samsung 60 inch LED Smart TV : UN60H6350AFXZA. I tried to browse for Verizon FiOS TV APP on the Samsung Smart Hub and couldn't find it. I spoke with their customer care and they are saying this TV is not supported. I was shocked after hearing this.
I have a Verizon FiOS TV, which is workin for my old Samsung 50 inch Smart TV.
Anyone having same TV model using their FiOS TV App? How can I access the FiOS TV from my Samsung Smart TV?

Sorry to say but they have. And even advertised it on their home page as recently as today. You can view about 70 different channels on your iPhone or iPad. Anyone else out there who knows the answer?

Im running a 2008 intel i mac with ios 10.7.5 all updates done. Have previously used the store ok.

You're using 10.7 but Rosetta is no longer available on that build. So you can't get PowerPC emulation to run anymore. Sorry but that's been stripped out.
But I am puzzled as to why this would prevent Mac App Store from loading.
Could you show us a screenshot of this error, and your screen in its entirey here? Thanks.

Hello,
I upgraded to the latest version of WhatsApp (which is AWESOME)
But when I go to share a link and choose WhatsApp I get this error:
WhatsApp Media/App not supported
I emailed their support and they said get the latest version - which I did. But the error still appears.
Anyone else getting this?
Any solutions?

Please uninstall and reinstall the app. If issue persists, i advise you to perform a soft reset on your phone: type *#7780#. Default lock code is 12345. If the issue still persists, perform a hard reset. First of all, back up your data using Nokia Suite (Tools > Back up). Once your data is fully backed up, type *#7370# on the keypad.
Alternatively, you may also check for updates on Nokia Suite (by going to Tools > Updates). If no new update is available for your device, reinstall the current version.

Hi, If I try install some apps from Appworld (especially the converted android apps) I get a message that it is not supported by my device configuration. Is this a regional issue in that only people in specific countries can access the apps? Cheers

Evernote, kakaotalk, and many other apps NOT supported for bb10??

is it just me or are there others who run into 'not supported' when trying to download app?
my q10 allows me to add Evernote account but when i search for the actual app in the bbWorld, it does not exist. When trying to download from Evernote website, it takes me to bbworld only to let me know that it's not yet supported.

'Preview' app not supported on this type of Mac

When I'm trying to launch the 'Preview' app (either from Launchpad, or by clicking any image/pdf file twice), the following message appears:
You can't open the application "Preview" because it is not supported on this type of Mac.
The last time it worked fine was two weeks ago. No new applications installed, no hardware changes. Restarting the Mac does not help. Disk utility permissions check done, permissions repaired.
I can still launch the 'Preview' app by double-clicking Preview in
/Applications/Preview/Contents/MacOS/
(I have to click 'Show Package Contents' in the context menu of the 'Preview' app in Applications to see its content)
The 'Preview' app is the only application with a white-grey prohibition sign on its icon. All the other applications work fine.
Please help.

It is even funny how fragile the OS is. I guess the simple update to 10.9 have broken the 'Preview' app...
UPDATE:
I don't see a way to backup the OS w/o a TimeMachine. I would not like to change logical structure of the hard drive.

Lion WARNING Power PC apps not supported :-(

I just wanted to warn everyone that if you install Lion you will nolonger be able to use PowerPC programs!
If I had known this I would never have installed it. I have seen no warning of this anywhere.

Yup, it's been discussed a lot. Discussed in a bunch of forums us techie guys love to read. So everyone who knows are those that should know. ..Oh wait! Hmmm, what of the average user? Those who dont CARE to read tech forums like we do?
I understand our points that it is well documented in the forums and in some tech specific outlets, but the average user doesn't read these. Designers, movie editors, the flower shop owner don't care because they only use a Mac as a tool to run their business. Some have invested countless hours developing on those legacy applications/programs. Some people don't find easy just dumping their old application with perhaps thousands of files they have developed through the years.
Many have a Mac simply because they find it easier than using the complicated and ever changing Windows. Not that they are loyal to the Apple brand, it is simply because that "thing" runs my favorite application better than Windows or that "thing" runs the application that Windows doesn't. Many don't have the budget to buy whatever is out there that replaces their legacy program, they don't have the time to convert or the know how to relearn something different and apply it to their business.
On the other hand, I also understand that the company that developed the application would provide an upgrade for Lion compatibility. That is not true on all the cases. For example, one of my customers (and no I don't provide PC consulting only IBM Systems) uses Corel draw, he has hundreds and hundreds of files and now they don't work and Corel is no longer supporting CorelDraw for Mac nor will they provide a fix. Second example, I have a friend that uses EffectsLab Pro. FXHome will not rewrite their application because they say and I quote "sales are not good on the Apple platform to put resources (programmers) on it and they will concentrate on their Windows customers". -dead end.
Even though WE KNEW Lion was not going to support PowerPC, the average user did not. Actually, that information should be clearly specified in the product info when buying Lion. It's not explicitly expressed, anywhere in there. And I'm talking about a CLEAR statement like "PowerPC applications are NOT supported in Lion" or "Some of your applications will NOT be compatible with Lion" with a link to a page with Applications found so far during the developer and UAT period. All it says is: "Some features require apps developed to work with Lion". From and average user's perspective it says nothing. It says "some features", not that the whole application will not run.
I dislike Windows with all my heart, I honestly do. I work with IBM Systems and lots of client side apps run on Windows. But one thing I still find interesting... some of the IBM shops I support still have crazy old DOS programs running on the new Windows Server...

The verizon app on the iphnoe gets message about need to connect to FIOS wifi, but I al already connected to the wifi. No problem with my ipad...
I called verizon and they said the problem is with apple, because it works ok in the ipad...

Just check the reviews on the Google Play store. Tons of people reporting probelms with the update to Android 5.0

Not compatible with Android L This was an OK app before I updated my S5 to lollipop. It was a bit glitchy with scheduling recordings and scrolling through TV listings before, but now it is just terrible and does not even allow me to use the app as a remote control and is always crashing. I'm keeping the app because I'm hopeful that they will resolve the compatibility issues because it is pretty convenient having an app running off the WiFi to control the DVR. I will submit a new review once they do.

"restore to factory settings and try again." I contacted FiOS support because after updating my S5 to Lollipop, the app would no longer recognize that I was connected to my FiOS router. As a result, I couldn't change the channels on my FiOS set top box or watch FiOS programs on my phone

Please fix the Lollipop S5 issue The remote portion is the only reason to have this app, and since it had been rendered useless ever since Lollipop was pushed - I have to rate 1 star. Once fixed I will gladly update

Vaio owners worldwide are seeing this. It is some Sony Media management software conflicting with itunes.

I am trying to download a video from the net and it appears in my download box, but when i try to open it, a message comes on that it cannot be opened because my system does not have the proper app to open windows. Can any one tell me what app i need to install on my macair to open my downloaded video?

You probably need to search for Flip4Mac to view a Windows video file on a Mac.

Chase Banking app not supported on Windows Phone

I used to check my bank account on my Nokia Lumia 925 smartphone, but it is no longer available. I asked at my local Chase Bank and was told that Microsoft no longer wanted to support this app. This is a major inconvenience for me, enough for me to consider

Probably you have to try with Sencha support as well.
As you mentioned two of your apps are working, problem must be with the APIs which you used on third platform.
Generally, your app should work on WP8.1 also with out changes. But it is difficult to analyze the problem with out knowing what you have written.

I'm sorry your son's phone is having issues. Let's get that device up and running! What error is he getting? Did you set it up with his own personal Gmail account? Please power down the device remove and reinsert the Sim Card and retest.
