Firefox 6 is not working with propel accelerator

I have a web accelerator called Propel. Ever since FF 6, it hasn't been working right. Not all of the images will come up unless you click on restart Propel. It was fine with previous versions of FF. Right now I have FF 6.0.2. I also added the port number of the program to firefox under options--advanced--connection--settings and then to manual proxy. Any advice?

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if you can print. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
* You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If you can print in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshooting extensions and themes article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing the printing issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.
Thank you.

• Firefox 4 does not work with Pogo games at all!!! Plus do not like the layout at all either. This version really sucks!

Firefox 4 does not work on any Pogo games, neither did the latest version of 3.6.14 and since downloading the beta version of 4 I've had nothing but troubles and pages either not loading or taking forever to load. I do not like this version at all.

After trying everything else under the sun, I finally figured out that the problem was with the Adblock Plus program. Some of my games were not loading at Pogo.com, like Boggle, even though I made sure to clear all the caches and made sure my pop-up blocker wasn't on, the games still wouldn't work. Then I read something about Adblock Plus could be blocking some applets causing some games not to load properly and that's exactly what the problem was. The Adblock Plus preferences are found under the Tools button.I could've just disabled the Adblock Plus, but that made me a little nervous, so I just unblocked the items that were for the specific game that wouldn't load. To do that, I went to that particular game page where the room choices are. Not sure if you have to have Adblock Plus opened or not, but I did in a seperate tab. Then I hit cntrl + shift + V and it opened up the items that were blocked on Adblock Plus. The items in red are the items that are blocked. I just clicked on those to unblock them and the game loaded like a charm. Hope this info helps.

• Fix for scrollbar in Firefox 4.0 not working with Synaptics touchpad

Since updating to Firefox 4.0 I'm having trouble scrolling with the touchpad on my Dell laptop. I followed all the instructions here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Cannot%20scroll%20with%20mouse%20wheel%20or%20touchpad - updated the driver, then changing the settings in Firefox.
After changing both the .numlines and .sysnumlines settings and restarting Firefox, the scrollbar works once or twice, then stops. If I change the settings and restart Firefox, I can get it to work again, but really - that gets old fast. Is there something that would be a more permanent fix?

Its due to the adobe reader add on. I removed adobe reader and installed foxit reader. Now everything seems perfect. My laptop model is model is Acer Aspire 5820 TG and I use synaptics driver.
Solution: (Courtesy - iuliand)
If you have issues with touch-pad scrolling in FF4 do this:
1) disable Adobe Acrobat add-on and test if it works, otherwise
2) install the latest touch-pad driver.
Hope this will help others.
Edit:
If the above does not work, temporarily disable all add-ons in order to check if there is another one that may cause this.
Also, make sure you update to the latest touch-pad driver from the touch-pad manufacturer site (very easy to do if you have a Synaptics). Most of the time drivers from notebook manufacturer support site are NOT up to date.
Keep in mind that you may need to do both things (disable acrobat AND install latest driver). Both are possible causes and may occur at the same time, as it was in my case.
Edit 2:
If you have an ALPS touch-pad and none of the above works, check dog425's post below in this topic. He pointed out a solution found in this thread: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/791829#answer-163071

• FireFox Select List not working with Spry XML Data set.

I am having a problem with FireFox.  I have a set of related select lists that allows a user to pick a state and then a market.  The work in all browsers except FireFox.  I'm totally stumped.  Here is the link. Any assistance greatly appreciated!
http://myxpertise.pointinspace.com/create.php
Thanks,
Joe

<span spry:region="dsCities dsStates dsStates" id="citySelector">
         <select spry:repeatchildren="dsCities" id="citySelect" name="citySelect" tabindex="5" >
          <option spry:if="{ds_RowNumber} == {ds_CurrentRowNumber}" value="{name}" selected="selected" tabindex="5" >{name}</option>
          <option spry:if="{ds_RowNumber} != {ds_CurrentRowNumber}" value="{name}" tabindex="5" >{name}</option>
        </select>
that should be a spry:detailregion, and you have a double dsStates
And when you are using multiple datasets inside a region, it might wise to prefix you template tags with the correct dataset
{ds_RowNumber} => {dsStates::ds_RowNumber}

• Firefox/mozilla is not working with printer since 4/29/2013

When trying to print from Mozilla/Firefox, I get a message stating that mozilla is not responding. I thought it was my printer so I bought a new one but I continue to have the problem. I can print from Internet explorer with no problems. I have shut down, cleared the cache/cookies and still no responnse. What seems to be the problem and what is the solution to fix it.

• New Firefox version does not work with my Viroshop storefront.

Every product page visited now says the item is in the cart. This does not happen in IE or on my iPad, and did not happen in previously installed Firefox versions.

To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
For details of how to find your profile folder see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles

• Firefox 4 does not work with facebook

Just installed FF4 (not by my choice I can assure you) and now I'm having nothing but problems with facebook. Applications/games don't display properly. I can't get some of the games to even play properly. Game pop-ups to send message to other players open a whole new window. The problems are endless.
I reported these same problems for FF4 beta and hoped they would be fixed. I can see that I'm going to have to go back to using IE.

Safe mode was the first thing I tried and the problem is still there. There's not much you can do unless the next patch fixes this one... ;-)

MY FIREFOX NEW TAB NOT WORKING NIETHER WITH + NOR WITH RIGHT CLICKING ON TAB OR DOUBLE CLICKING ON TAB

Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).
If Firefox is open, you can restart in Firefox Safe Mode from the Help menu:
*In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button , click Help and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
*In previous Firefox versions, click on the Firefox button at the top left of the Firefox window and click on Help (or click on Help in the Menu bar, if you don't have a Firefox button) then click on Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Safe Mode as follows:
* On Windows: Hold the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
* On Mac: Hold the option key while starting Firefox.
* On Linux: Quit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox -safe-mode <br>(you may need to specify the Firefox installation path e.g. /usr/lib/firefox)
When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "Start in Safe Mode".<br>

• Flash player does not work with Ie or Firefox with win 8.1?

Flash player does not work with Ie or Firefox with win 8.1 64, If i try and play a video I get the message to install Flashplayer.
If I try and install it it says it is already installed. Your onsite  installer says it is not applicable to my machine.
I have followed all the normal steps re enabling addons and active filters etc.
all to no avail Pc is Dell 6 months old, Flashplayer has never worked on this machine. Last MS update mid Dec 2014.
Version of flashplayer is 15....03.......

Flash Player is a built-in component of Internet Explorer.  There's nothing separate to download or install.
Firefox requires a different version of Flash Player (the NPAPI plug-in), which will be served to you if you go here: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer using Firefox; however, there are some unique stability issues related to Firefox on Win8.1, and you're probably better off using Google Chrome if you want a more optimal experience with Flash Player.
For problems where IE isn't being detected by sites that require Flash:
First, confirm that ActiveX Filtering is configured to allow Flash content:
https://forums.adobe.com/thread/867968
Internet Explorer 11 introduces a number of changes both to how the browser identifies itself to remote web servers, and to how it processes JavaScript intended to target behaviors specific to Internet Explorer. Unfortunately, this means that content on some sites will be broken until the content provider changes their site to conform to the new development approach required by modern versions of IE.
You can try to work around these issues by using Compatibility View:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/internet-explorer/use-compatibility-view#ie=ie-11

• Firefox 4 does not work on my G5. After prompting me to update from previous version I am now left with nothing functioning. How do I go back?

After downloading the latest update Firefox kindly told me I should upgrade to V4. So I did. I downloaded it, dropped it into my applications folder and overwrote the old version. Only to be told when attempting to start the application "Firefox does not work with this architecture".
Brilliant. So I look for an older version on the site, and there is nothing to be found. Just the insistance that I should download version 4 for my Mac. Well, "IT DOESN"T WORK GUYS!"
Now can we have a fix please quickly or a link to the older version, as I am now left without all my bookmarks or passwords and you are about to effectively isolate a section of the computing community from ever using you again.

For your toolbars that you had installed before, are they simply incompatible with the latest version of Firefox?
Please try reading Add-ons are disabled after updating Firefox, as that may help with your addons.
As for Firefox running slow, is it slow lading web pages, or is just the whole browser slow? Try reading Firefox is slow , which may have some tips (the optimize Windows part especially).
