Firefox closes my Bell Sympatico mail after a minute or so after it opens. How can I stop this from happening? I have to keep logging back on, over and over, and pressing ESC to stop it from closing the site.

As soon as Bell Email opens, the corner symbol continues to turn and then closes my email web account. Usually hitting the ESC keys stops this but not always. I just upgraded to the new Firefox and am still having the same problem. This does not happen if I log onto my Bell Email account through Internet Explorer. This is unique to Firefox.

Freezes and system crashes should be virtually non-existent with a new machine (assuming it has not been polluted with bad third party software). If this were happening to me with a new machine I would return it.

You can't sign in because there is nothing to sign in to. For PSE 10 the only sign in was to photoshop.com, which has been dead and gone for a year and half. Just skip the sign in. Reinstalling will not change this.

First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive may be failing.
Launch the usual set of applications you use when you notice the problem.
Step 1
Launch the Activity Monitor application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Activity Monitor in the page that opens.
Select the CPU tab of the Activity Monitor window.
Select All Processes from the menu in the toolbar, if not already selected.
Click the heading of the % CPU column in the process table to sort the entries by CPU usage. You may have to click it twice to get the highest value at the top. What is it, and what is the process? Also post the values for % User, % System, and % Idle at the bottom of the window.

Solution update: Disabled XULRunner 1.9.1 extension from Add-ons > Extensions. Problem solved.

No, not unless it is simply a network connection.
How is your IPTV being provided.. if it is using a separate vlan or separate vpi/vci in the adsl connection. Who is your ISP?
Is the TP-Link ADSL?
Is the IPTV using a separate voice channel on adsl?
Or a different vlan.

When I am looking at a direct image (Example: an imgur link) the picture is centered and on a dark grey page after I updated to FF 11.0. How can I change this back to normal?

As the title suggests since updating whenever I visit a direct image link the page turns dark grey and the image is centered.

Playbook shuts down after a few mintutes when streaming Video.. how can I fix this?

Hi There, new to this forum as I just purchased the Playbook 32GB. I really like this tablet and bought the micro HDMI cable so I could hook it up to my 1080p TV. Anyway, we're streaming video on the browser and after a few mintutes the Playbook screen starts to flicker and then turns black and disconnects from my wi-fi connection.
This is quite frustrating as we like the idea of streaming movies and dramas off the tablet to our TV and being able to enjoy it witout the tablet shutting down. I understand the shut down mode is to conserve the battery's power, but this even happens when the unit is plugged in. I understand this also happens when you download things for more than 5 mintutes as well as listen to music for longer then 5 mintutes the Playbook auto shutdowns.
Can this be resolved with an ap or software upgrade provided by BlackBerry? Any suggestions on how to fix this is much appreciated!

No links from external programs will open - this is usually kind of ok since I can cut and paste, but some links from databases don't provide copy-able links, meaning I cannot access information via Firefox.

These apperarances of the spinning wheel tend to be related to some io operation that takes too long. Maybe the finder is trying to reach a network server that became unavailable.
I would try clearing caches and do an overall maintenance with an utility like OnyX.
Also, trashing preferences does no harm and is often the first troubleshooting measure when FCP X misbehaves.
