You could try using firefox version 3.6 instead of a beta test version.
* If you have both versions installed on your computer you should be using them in separate profiles see [[Managing Profiles]].
* Regarding the crashes see [[Basic Troubleshooting]] . Note if you use [[Safe Mode]] when you see the initial dialogue window do not make changes, just click on the ''Continue'' button.
*You may also need to check on whether extensions and plugins are up to date, and also the position regarding Java. ( see [[Java-related issues]] )

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). First, I would recommend repairing the hard drive with Disk Utility.
If that doesn't fix the problem, there's a very dangerous command you can execute in the Terminal. This is very hazardous, because a simple typo can result in very drastic consequences. I have seen people erase their entire hard drive by putting a space in the wrong place! So, please follow the directions I'm going to give you very carefully!
Open the Terminal, which is found in the Utilities folder in the Applications folder. In the Terminal, enter the following:
sudo rm -f
Make sure to put a space after the "-f"! Then, drag the troublesome file from the Finder and drop it on the Terminal window. That should insert the path to the file in the command. Then go back to the Terminal and press return. You will be asked for your password, and when you type it, nothing will be shown as a security measure. Press return again after entering your password. The file should be deleted.

Go into: Settings>General>Accessibility and make sure zoom is turned off. You can double tap with THREE fingers to turn zoom off as well, rather than performing a reset.

Have you tried a Reset? [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank. Be patient, the device will power ON again in the normal way. It is app and data safe!]

The TV is a Philips 720p (Not exactly sure what model it is)

You can increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 2.0 in 0.1 steps to see what works best.
In Firefox 3.6 and later this pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements more precisely.

Keynotes crashes when importing presentations to ipad. What can I do to avoid this?

When trying to import/export keynotes presentations from mac to ipad Keynotes will crash.
I have tried using itunes, idisk og even via e-mail.
The original presentation is made in Powerpoint and then redone in Keynotes.
What do I do wrong?

i have this problem as well. I REFUSE to make another non smart playlist and copy songs from the smart playlist over. This should just work. The whole reason i use smart playlists is because of the live updating which also works for Itunes match. Copying songs into a different playlist defeats the whole purpose of live updating feature. The BPM option of filters is the only reason the song dont show up in the playlist on my phone. The playlist is there but no songs are in the playlist. But it works with in iTunes.

Continuing from 'question' above: I am not as worried about the one Firefox update that failed, but instead that the failed update also seems to be blocking all new, later updates.
Platform: Dell PC running WinXP - it is updated.
Have had Firefox installed and working successfully (including updates) for over a year; under 'help' it says I've got Mozilla/5.0.
Tried restarting Firefox.
Tried restarting the PC.
Tried 'Apply Downloaded Update Now.'
Nothing has changed - the update won't load - I get an 'Update Failed' box every time I try, and also every time I re-load Firefox.
When I went to Mozilla/Firefox website to just completely reload Firefox with a new download, it said that Firefox 4 was available; seems dumb to download ver. 4 when I already have ver. 5.
Any suggestions for the least-work way to resolve this?

If you have problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.

The Security Component error message keeps popping up everytime I reopen firefox after closing it and no helps work permanently so what can I do to fix this?

The cert8 file gets remade, but the error message still comes. Every new profile gets deleted and the default one always comes back when I keep deleting it in the profile manager.

Incredibar is taking over FireFox and enters systems when downloading. What can you do to prevent this. One cannot get rid of it.
