Firefox for Mobile changing ".jpg" to ".jpg.jpeg"

I tried to save jpg images,
always Firefox for mobile changing ext, ".jpg" to ".jpg.jpeg".
It was the same situation with betaversion and Nightly

Christina:
Welcome to the Apple Discussions. To resize for other applications just select those you want to resize and use the File->Export->File Export route. There you will have the option to select the size you'd like.
As for the JPG vs JPEG, have you tried submitting a JPG file? Those two extensions are the same and can be used interchangeably. The JPEG is the more formal representation of that format. If the simple JPG extension is rejected you can use R-Name to batch change the extension to JPEG before you submit them to the site. You'll have to do that after you export from iPhoto.

  • How do I export bookmarks from Firefox for Mobile (android) to an html file?

    I have bookmarks on my Firefox for Mobile v 33.1 that I would like to copy/back up to an html file. Even if I access the desktop version on my tablet I don't see the Show all Bookmarks - Import/Export option. This Android profile used to be linked through the old Firefox Sync to my PC but the issue is that I can't access it from my PC anymore as I just had to replace the hard disk. I have now installed the new Firefox on my PC but it won't sync with the old Android version as the new Firefox Sync is not compatible with the old one. Also when I go under Sync on the Android, it says the email account is deprecated.
    Going forward I understand I need to remove account on the Android, update to the new Firefox Sync and newly link PC and Android device. However I have read that If I remove the account on my Android Firefox and set up the new Firefox Sync on it, I will lose my old bookmarks and it will only start saving and syncing bookmarks from then on even if I use the same email address to set it up. If this is the case and before taking this step, is there a way I can copy my old Android bookmarks to an html file?
    All suggestions very much appreciated! I'm completely lost.
    Thanks

    Tangram that is an answer for desktop Firefox. It does not apply to Firefox for Android.
    There is no way to export bookmarks/history in Firefox for Android.
    However your Firefox sync account is unrelated to the Firefox for Android profile. You can safely remove the account without loss of data. Then set up a new Sync Account.

  • Is the Firefox for Mobile desktop emulator still available?

    I've followed the link in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/792964 but can't find any further information on downloading the Firefox for Mobile Emulator. Could just be a lack of caffeine on a Friday morning...

  • Does Firefox for mobile support xul?

    Does Firefox for mobile support xul file? If not, can I build Firefox to support this on mobile? Where is the build instruction?

    Firefox mobile uses XUL and you can use that along with CSS and JavaScript to create extensions. However since Firefox 4 you cannot load XUL from a website. https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Using_Remote_XUL

  • I have an Epic 4G. When I try to download Firefox for Mobile I get a message the requested item could not be found. Help?

    When I try to download Firefox for Android on my Epic 4G I get a message saying the item could not be found.

    An update to quote mbrubeck:
    Firefox will not appear in the Market for most phones with incompatible hardware. You can check if your phone is supported here:
    https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android
    Even on some supported devices, a bug in the Market software prevents Firefox from showing up. This may be related to the fairly recent Android Market app update. If you go to Settings/Applications/Market and choose "Uninstall" you can uninstall the update, and then search for and install Firefox from the marketplace.
    Or, if you have a supported phone, you can download the app directly by typing this address into your phone's browser: http://bit.ly/fxbeta3
    (Note: To download the app directly for an AT&T phone, you will have to search for instructions on "sideloading" the APK file, since AT&T disables the option to install from non-Market sources.)

  • My smartphone Samsung Galaxy Music Duos S6012. It's been released in Dec. 2012 but no support for firefox for mobile. Will it be supported ?

    I use Firefox on my desktop and love it. Would love to have it on my smartphone Samsung Galaxy Music Duos S6012. However my smartphone is not supported by firefox. Any changes of it being supported in near future ?
    Thanks and Regards

    Thanks Aron for the reply...
    From my smartphone, when I visit google play and search for firefox, both firefox as well as firefox beta are not visible... When I search on my desktop both are visible but saying my device is not supported...
    I installed the OpenGL-ES Info app. But when I run it on my device, I just get blank screen with name of the application (OpenGL-ES Info) on top...
    No info about OpenGL is displayed... My smartphone has got Ice-cream sandwitch 4.0.4 and it is upgradable to Jelly Bean 4.1
    I than installed OpenGLES Extensions Viewer app from google play which displayed the OpenGL details.. Below are the details :
    Android Version: 4.0.4
    samsung rhea(ARMv7 Processor rev9(v7I)
    1 CPU(s)
    Resolution: 240x320
    Screen Size: LARGE SMALL
    Version : OpenGL ES 2.0
    Shading Language: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 1.00
    Renderer: VideoCore IV HW
    Vendor: Broadcom
    EGL Vendor: Android
    EGL Version: 1.4 Android META-EGL
    Max. texture cube map:2048
    Max. vertex attribs: 8
    Max. texture image units: 8
    Max. vertex texture image units: 8
    Max. shader binary formats:0
    Read color format: 6408
    REad color type: 5121
    Max. render buffer size: 2048
    Max. combined texture image units: 8
    Max. varying vectors: 8

    Max. fragment uniform vectors: 256
    Num. compressed texture formats:11
    Max. texture anisotropy: 0
    EGL_KHR_image
    GL_APPLE_rgb_422
    Looks like my smartphone has got OpenGL ES 2.0 from the above output... Why firefox is not supported in that case ?
    Is that anything to do with Shading Language: OpenGL ES GLSL ES 1.00 ???
    Thanks & Regards

  • Why does Firefox for Mobile v33+ have admob?

    My Android phone's security software keeps blocking updates and uninstalling Firefox becase it detects the admob library. I want to know why Mozilla has been including admob since version 33.0, how it is being used, and wether it will remain part of Firefox in the future.

    hello CyrusCT, the genuine firefox for android doesn't come with admob. this is likely a false positive or are you downloading the app from another place than the play store or mozilla.org?

  • Does firefox for mobile (on android) support adobe flash player?

    I wish to view videos on you tube using adobe flash player from my HTC Desire running android 2.2, but need to know if this browser supports adobe flash player.

    '''Update''': Firefox for Android now includes supports for Flash content. You'll need the Adobe Flash plugin, which is no longer available in the app market, but you can still download it directly from Adobe. For details, see [[How do I watch Flash videos with Firefox for Android?]]

  • I installed Firefox for Mobile on my HTC Droid Eris but it won't work. Why?

    I have an HTC Droid Eris and it runs the Android 2.0 operating system. When I attempt to open it I receive a message that says: "This device does not meet the minimum system requirements for Firefox".
    The website states: "Firefox 4 Beta is available for Android 2.0 or higher" so I do not understand why it won't work on my phone.

    See this web page for system requirements, and an experimental version that might work on the Droid Eris: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android#System_Requirements

  • How to use Websocket for Firefox for Mobile Android Addon

    I am trying to write a simple firefox mobile addon that talks with my server side code using Websocket.
    I have my code working for Desktop Firefox Addon but I am having difficulty with one for Firefox mobile.
    function connectToServer(aWindow) {
    var ws = new MozWebSocket("ws://ipaddress:8887"); // LINE 20
    // var ws = new WebSocket("ws://ipaddress:8887");
    ws.onopen = function() {
    showToastMsg(aWindow, 'Sending');
    ws.send('data');
    ws.onmessage = function (evt) {
    showToastMsg(aWindow, 'Display')
    ws.onclose = function() {
    I have tried both MozWebSocket and WebSocket, but both of them gives me error similar to the following :
    > E/GeckoConsole(15569): [JavaScript Error: "ReferenceError: MozWebSocket is not defined" {file: "resource://gre/modules/XPIProvider.jsm -> jar:file:///data/data/org.mozilla.firefox/files/mozilla/sq4c77hi.default/extensions/[email protected]!/bootstrap.js" line: 20}]
    Anyone know what I need to import or do to be able to reference WebSocket?
    I just want to send data back and forth from my Firefox Android addon with my server side code using websocket. Any suggestions?
    I am just confused because I have this setup running on Firefox Desktop Addon with very similar code.
    I have a short code written at https://bitbucket.org/ykim320/kayo. The desktop firefox extension works fine. But I have having trouble getting mobile version of addon to send message and connect to server. If you have anyway you can connect to the server using firefox mobile addon any pointers will be appreciated. Thank you again.
    Any help would be very appreciated thank you!

    There is no such plugin for any Android browser. I doubt Microsoft will ever make one. The best chance you have is if the site provides a direct link to the file and you download it. You then might be able to play the file with one of the media players on the phone.

  • Firefox for Mobile crashes on launch on my Samsung Transform

    Stock Transform, Android 2.1. Installed no problems. On launch, shows Firefox toolbar at top of screen, rest of screen is black. Silently crashes back to homescreen after 4-5 seconds.
