Firefox won't close down all the way after watching a video. I exit out, and the sound continues. When I try to re-open firefox, I get a message about how I have to restart my computer. How do I fix this?

Basically whenever I watch a video and I exit out of the video I have to restart my computer to get Firefox back open. If I exit out or go to a new page while the video is playing, the audio continues like nothing has happened. I've checked my task manager and it shows that Firefox is closed. When I try to re-open Firefox I get an error message that tells me Firefox is running but is unresponsive and I have to restart my computer. How do I get it to stop doing this?

Try holding control, alt and delete down in succession and then a dialogue box will appear with windows task manager. Once open click on the Processes Tab and look for firefox.exe. Highlight this and then click end process. It should come up with a warning but just click Yes. This should then close firefox and allow you to reopen it from your desktop without shutting down your computer. Hope this helps.

Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
2. If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
3. Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
1. Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
2. Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using theMicrosoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
3. Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

Reinstall Lion, Mountain Lion, or Mavericks without erasing drive
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu.

That issue can be caused by a corrupted or incomplete Visual C++ installation (multiple versions can be installed side-by-side; SxS) that is missing some runtime components (Redistributable Packages) that Firefox depends on (problem with an embedded manifest file that specifies a specific runtime version).
You need to install the missing components (e.g. VisualC++ 2005 Redistrbutable).

Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap your Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign back in. The App Store will automatically change to the store from which your account is authorized to make purchases.

When you have downloaded it, then clean out the old adobe reader and then try to install the latest one, i had to do this about a week ago and it solved the problem.

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Then select the account on the right-hand side of that screen, select Account, then Advanced, Deleted Mailbox, and under On The Server tap the 'Trash' folder (or whatever it is called by yor provider) so that it gets a tick against it - then come out of that series of popups by tapping on the relevant buttons at the top of them and then see if you can delete emails

Looks like I fixed it., thanks to another post I read. I went into my Norton Security. Under Settings. Chose Firewall. Program rules. changed the itunes setting from "auto" to "allow" This also fixed my error (-3212) which would not allow me to connect to the iTunes store.

When I try to set up iCloud I get a message to covert my MobileMe account over to iCloud. The message says I must do this from my computer but from there I'm lost.

When I try to set up my iCloud from the settings menu I get a message to go to me.com my computer to move my MobileMe information to iCloud.
When do as it says there are no instructions on MobileMe on how to do this.
Any one else have this issue and how did you fix the problem?

The only messages I'm aware of are the ones that say that you can't move to iCloud right now because servers are too busy and that you can continue using MobileMe. I'd try to go back to iClound in your Settings and give it another try.
