Fit Sinc Function to Data

Dear community,
I recently wrote a program that fits a Gaussian function to some intensity data I pulled from an image of a fluorescent nanoparticle. Here's a snapshot:
My program would be a lot more useful if I could fit the data to a Sinc function instead of a Gaussian. Could someone please give me some points in the right direction about how to do this? I am very new to LabVIEW, so I may need a little more help than just which VI to use. I'd appreciate your help very much.
Please note: I need to fit all the data, not just half.
I am using version 9.0.1 with the Windows 7 64-bit OS.

Here's a quick attempt to fit the entire 2D data. Seems to work just fine. (LabVIEW 9.0)
Run VI. It will start fitting immediately.
Change simulation paramters at any time to see the simulated result using the model (lower right)
Once fitting completes, you can drag the yellow cursor to inspect data and fit along a vertical line.
The attached zip file contains the toplevel VI, the VI model VI and the picture. Extract all to a new folder and load and run the toplevel VI.
Since you have limited data, it probably helps to fit all data instead of only a single line. Let me know if anything is not clear. To be honest, I don't think a squared sinc is the correct model. There are no real wings in your data!

Functional and data differences between W_GL_BALANCE_F and W_GL_OTHER_F

Can some explain what the functional and data-source differences are between W_GL_BALANCE_F and W_GL_OTHER_F? Both seem to group by GROUP_ACCOUNT_NUM.

That is not possible; all transaction in GL Other will end up in GL Balance.
The two tables are essentially having the same data but at different grain. Two main differences:
- GL Other have individual journal transactions; GL Balance have them summarized to the account level.
- GL Other is truly additive since its just individual journal transactions. i.e. you can just sum() any number of transactions and wont double count a trx; GL Balance is a monthly snapshot table. i.e. it provides account balance for all accounts for every month end, so you can never add two snapshots.

I am looking for a timer that shows elapsed time since a particular date and time. Showing days, hours, minutes etc.

I would like to download an application for my desktop and maybe even my iphone that will tell me how many days, hours, minutes, etc have elapsed since a particular date.
For example, my brother just had a baby and I want to put that date and time into the app and then determine how long it has been since that date and time.
Hopefully this makes sense, because I have not been able to locate anything.

In the pivot table i`d like to see one row for every BISUBRF_MO_._MUN_NAME_ using BICALENDAR_._YEAR__ and BICALENDAR_._MONTH__ as measures and sum of BIMONTH_DEBET_._BI_DEBET_SUM_ and count of unique (or at least just count of) BIPERS_ACCOUNT_CARD_._BI_PAC_NMB_ in cells.
I create a pivot table using wizard, everything ok except one thing: as i understand, in pivot table for data in rows we can use only one kind of aggregate function e.g. only sum or only count.
Is there any way to use different aggregate functions in data cells?

As you can see, when we use crosstab tag we can specify only one aggregate function for data cells.

Support of PL/SQL Functions in Data Modeler

Hello,
Sorry if this question has already been answered, I searched the forum but got 215 hits on data modeler + pl/sql functions.
So my question is:
Stored Procedures are already supported by the physical model (11g) of data modeler, but I could not find any method
to create pl/sql functions via data modeler - neither in the documentation nor on the user interface. Is this
currently not supported?

Problem with the round function using Date

Hi,
I have a problem with round function for Date. The input is the four digit year which was picked out from say SYSDATE.
In these scenarios the original value should be rounded up and should get the output as shown under rounded column.

Ever since the up dates... Any of my photos that I use and want to set as wall paper... The software blows the picture out of portion and no way of cropping it and keeping it at the regular size!!!! How can this be fixed!!

How to use aggregate function with Date

Hi All,
I have a group of date from that is it possible to Max and Min of date.
I have tried like this but its errored out <?MIN (current-group()/CREATION_DATE)?>.
I have also tried like this but it doesnt works
<?xdoxslt:minimum(CREATION_DATE)?>
Is it possible to use aggregate function with date values.

No messages by perfoming a Function After Data Change - Web Interface Build

Hey Xperts,
I have a problem to see messages, when I perform a Function via WEB - Function After Data Change.
You can select by costomizing a Subcomponent "Layout" that a Function can be performent by the feature "Function After Data Change".
But when I run the function there is no message in the message tray.
When I run the function via Button, there will come up a messages.
Is this a buk or a feature.
How can I see message by performing a Function After Data Change ?

Hi Thomas,
the system works as designed. It would be a bit anoying if the success messages are always displayed. Therefore only errors are shown.
If you really need it, here's the modification:
Include LUPWB_COMPONENTD18
*   PROCESS FUNCTION (after data set)
    if m_state-request-function = cb_true.
      l_function ?= if_upwb_c_layout2~get_function( ).
      if l_function is not initial.
        l_function->_execute(

Loss style when overriding the function 'set data' for a TileList

Hi!
In a TileList, I set the itemRenderer for a components from
where I override the function set data like in this example:
but, by doing this, I'm loosing all the built-in CSS
behavior. The onMouseOver effect the change the backgroundColor and
the hand pointer. I try to set it programmatically but without
success.
An idea?

Math functions for dates

Hello,
Have you ever used a math function for dates (MMDDYYYY) not just a number? I'm looking to send an email out based on date field. For example, if someone's contract expires on 1/1/2016, I'd like to send them out emails 30, 152, 212 and 335 days before that date. Right now, we have fields set up for those 30, 152, 212 and 335 days and would like to know if there's a math function that would automatically fill them in dynamically based on their contract exp. date.

I create a funcion(zz_test) that return sflight table type data. I need to invoke the function in the Webdynpro for java application.
I think I would import the funtion to local.
But I don't know how to import the function and the data type using SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio?
But I don't know how to invoke functions and data type( ex. sflight structure ) that is in the R/3 in the WDJ?
Do you give me some hints?

No. I tried it on my Time Machine (I had just made one change today, so I knew I would not be left in the lurch if I failed) and when I clicked on restore I got this message:
