Fixed decimal digits using to_number

Question

Hi,
I have few values in table like 10.3, 20.10, 30.37,40. But I need to select always with 2 decimal points. can anyone help me to achieve this?
i.e I want the values to be retrieved as
10.30
20.10
30.37
40.00

If your number are actually strings then try:
