Fixing the Table Header in the default JSF Table

I am using the default JSF Table in Sun JS Creator (Version JSC 2 EA 2) with a
Scroll Bar Option (instead of Pagination Control). However I have not
been able to fix the table header and scroll only the data rows in the
table.
I have tried to use CSS style for table header, but it has not worked
either. Where do I set the CSS style - in JSCreator JSF Datatable or
JSCreator Table component, neither seems to work for me?
Is there any other way to fix the table header default JSF Table in Sun
JS Creator?
Using the scroll bar is critical user requirement for me and fixing the
table header will ensure that I can use the default JSF Table in Sun JS
Creator, alternatively we will have to use some other JSF table e.g.
from myFaces or an HTML Table and lose on the productivity benefit of
JSCreator.

If you're using JavaFX 8 you can use the following in an external style sheet:
.table-view .column-header-background {
-fx-pref-height : 0 ;
If you're using JavaFX 2.2, the -fx-pref-height attribute is not available in css, so I think you have to resort to a lookup:
final Region tableHeader = (Region)table.lookup(".column-header-background");
tableHeader.setPrefHeight(0);
As always, I feel obliged to point out that I don't really like lookups. Sometimes they seem to be the only way, though.

Why do text variables using Running Header character style translate forced returns as a word space in the running head on the first page but close up the space on subsequent pages?

In an InDesign document that requires 3 different Chapter head paragraph styles (to cope with differrent length headings) I've set up the running heads on the master page with a text variable using the Running header (character style) option. The character style I've assigned to this is an empty character style that is applied to all 3 chapter head paragraph styles.
Some chapter heads require a forced line break, so that the line breaks are aethesically pleasing. On the first page the text variable translates this forced line break as a word space in the running head, but on subsequent pages it ignores the forced line break. This means that if you have a word space before the forced line break, on the first page you get a double word space and on subsequent pages the running head sets correctly with a single word space. But if you remove the word space before the forced line break in the chapter head text, the first running head sets correctly with forced line break interpreted as a single word space, but on subsequest pages the space is closed up.
This only seems to be a problem when the character style option is used for header text variables. If a paragraph style is used the forrced line break is interpreted as a a single word space in all instances, both on the foirst page and subsequent pages.
This would appear to be a bug in how text variables are applied when using the Running header (character style) option. I can't see any other reason why the text variable would beheave differently on the first page and on subsequent pages. There is only one master page, so it isn't a case of their being an error between a main master page and a chapter opener master page.
Does anyone have any solutionss, or know if this problem has been fixed in subsequent releases of InDesign (I'm using CS6 ID version 8.0)

Validation in the network header for the responsible cost center field

Hi Experts,
I want to do the validation for the network header that, the cost center in responsible cost center field of WBS & network should be same... If the user enters other than WBS in the network it should give an error message....
when i am trying to do validation in the network header i am unable to see the filed of the responsible cost center for the WBS element.

Thank you for your reply. There was no entries in the GB01. I went to SM30 & in view V_GB01C i maintained the entries
as
Boolean Class - 71 - WBS element
Class type - B
Table - PRPS
Field - FKSTL.
Next i went to maintain the validation in the T-Code OPSI, i am unable to find the field of the WBS element cost-center in the Network header.
Can u tell me if i had done anything wrong in the above steps.
what the user exit for the network can u tell me...

Same problem here (no graphics in header or footer) and the problem has been reported months ago. It is another bug/feature lost when Apple moves from 09 to the iCloud-compatible versions. Complain to Apple, you may have better chance than me and they may finally listen to their users....

I think the time should be right, cause when I try to execute the code by myself which generates the time, it seems to prooduce the right date:
current_time = datetime.utcnow().strftime('%a, %d %b %Y %H:%M:%S GMT')
request.headers.append(('x-ms-date', current_time))
And the time from my macbook is nearly correct (matches not really exactly the second from an atom clock). Any hints or at least any idea on how to debug that any further?

For this error, I suggest you could try to use this method to get the current_time date value:
request.headers.append('x-ms-date': strftime("%a, %d %b %Y %H:%M:%S GMT", gmtime()))

Right click on one of headings e.g. History, Collections, and ensure Presets is ticked.

In the section expert you can enter a formula on the suppress function.
You just need something to check against if it is section name you say
{section name} ="Suppressme"
I have used it more in drill level to display headers based on how far you have drilled into a report.

SIP Trunk Diversion (Cfwdall) inserting Domain in the FROM header of the originating PBX

We recently performed an upgrade from 8.61 to 8.62. Since the upgrade, incoming off-net diversion (cfwdall) to the PSTN stopped working. Here is the call flow for our setup:
PSTN caller-->AVAYA CM SIP TLS-->AVAY SES SIP-->CUCM-->CFWDALL-->Avaya SES SIP TLS-->Avaya CM-->PSTN.
Calling from an internal SCCP Phone to another SCCP with CFWDall works fine. The problem is when a caller from the PSTN calls an SCCP phone with CFWDALL to PSTN cell phone the call fails at the Avaya with "407 Proxy Authentication required". I believe this because the FROM header has the domain of the Avaya and not the IP Address of CUCM.
Prior to the upgrade, the Diversion SIP INVITE FROM header has the ip address of the CUCM server:
INVITE sip:[email protected]:5060 SIP/2.0
Via: SIP/2.0/TCP 10.170.99.12:5060;branch=z9hG4bK422a01feef6dc

If you need to print out the Chapter Heading with dot, you could use formula to reach your goal.

How to change the column heading as the column changes

dear memebrs,
Take an example fo the table EMP. I need to create a report whose parameters are the table column names. so depending on the parameter(which is the column name) the report o/p changes.
so i am dynamically selecting the table column names and getting the o/p. The problem is when the column changes the heading of it in the report o/p is not changing.
we have to use format trigger for this, but i am not sure what code should we write in the format trigger of the boiler plate text of the column heading , such that it changes in accordance with the input which is nothing but column name.
for ex: If i choose EMPNO as the parameter then my column heading should become Employee Number and so on.......

you can use a formula column of datatype character and of any width needed instead of a boilerplate text for the heading name.
In the formula column you can write code like below
IF :P_COLUMN_NAME = EMPNO THEN
return('Employee Number');
ELSIF :P_COLUMN_NAME = SAL THEN
return('Salary');
END IF;
where P_COLUMN_NAME the name of the column selected dynamically(i.e. the parameter).

How to make the row header of the JTable respond to mouse events?

Is there an easy way to enable the row header of a JTable so it listens to mouse events? I have put a button in the first cell of the row header but I can't click in it.
I'm asking for an easy way because I've seen some fairly complicated examples on the web that seem close to what I want but I was hoping something simple like getRowHeader().setEnabled(true) would do the trick for my case...

We're willing to share our knowlege of SQL. Are you willing to share your knowlege about the tables and your requirements? I don't think we can solve this without your help.
