Flash CC download simulation
WTH? I can't find it in Flash CC.
There is no change log about removing it or moving it.
I was developing games for mobile, but i need to port it on internet, yet i can't test a preloader.
Where did they hid the simulate download feature?
If it's removed, where i can find an alternative, i have very good internet ... but i know for example that at my parents, the internet is bad
// I feel like my money are getting wasted on CC :|, no motion editor, now a very vital feature of flash
It worked fine as long as you don't mind finding the process. I ended up just making my own custom C#.NET limiter because finding the process each time became a pain in my rapid testing world but pointing to a premade (free) product is easier in this case . At most, get used to making a stub that won't "start" your project until you click a button so you have time to latch on to the process.
Mind you it can limit an adaptors bandwidth so you can always do that. It's not real-world however. I have 20 windows open, half of which use the net, so I can't do that.
To be honest I don't really know why anyone wants the simulator anymore anyhow. I typically use it to test the stability of apps downloading a large required asset over a long time. Otherwise a simple calculator will tell you how long the average person is going to wait via the filesize. I wouldn't mind having it back but it's not a priority to me.

You haven't actually asked a question, but as stated you should only download Flash Player directy from Adobe.
Nor have you said what version of OS X and Safari you are running.
You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version,10.3 or later, is for Intel Macs only, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Version 11.0.1.152 is for Lion.
* Unhelpfully, if you want the last version for PPC Macs, you need to go here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html and scroll down to 'Archived Versions/Older Archives'. Flash Player 10.1.102.64 is the one you download. More information here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/838/cpsid_83808.html
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/909/cpsid_90906.html
and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe. -
Adobe flash player download page will not load up
firefox will not load up adobe flash player download page.
Will load the site, but not the download links.
This was a previous problem in firefox 4 so I had to fall back to 3.6,
that eventually got fixed so I came back to 4, updated with version 5.... and here it is again, same problem.
Any fixes or recommendations would be helpful. It's not an "officially" supported browser for Flash Player.

Flash Player Downloads to Firefox but not Safari--Why???
For some unknown reason my Adobe Flash Player stopped working. I followed all the instructions and managed to get the 10.3 Flash Player downloaded so that it would work with my Firefox browser. But when I tried to use my Safari browser to access YouTube a message said that I'd have to install Adobe Flash Player.. So I followed the instructions again, and a message said that "installation ws successful" yet when I tried to see videos on YouTube with Safari it claimed that I had not installed the Flash Player. I am using OS X5.8. The only
change I made in my system was switching from Java 5.0 to Java 6.0. Would that have any impact on the Flash Player installation? Thank you very much for your help.

After clicking Safari prompt box to "Download Flash..." , I'm linked to the Adobe Flash Player Download page. I click the "Download Now". The page advance to next page in the download process but then immediately goes black and nothing happens. System preferences firewall is off and apps are allowed from anywhere and in Safari other plug ins are allowed and cookies are not blocked and pop up windows are not blocked. Why won't Flash Player download?
Don't DL Flash from web sites. If you have Adobe Flash installed it should be in System Preferences and you can find the latest version and download from there.
If you are installing for the first time, this is where to DL it.

I get the standard Firefox web page but also get a second web page advertisement for Flash Video Downloader. I use Flash Video Downloader already and my data use is limited monthly so I don't want this page coming up every time I get on the web browser. I've asked the Flash Video folks but they have no suggested solutions. It is not shown in options for home page and I can't find where it is being loaded from.
Hello,
Try restore your startup page(Home Page), go to '''Tools''' >> '''Option''' >> '''General''', and restore to default or a page that you want.
*[https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/How%20to%20set%20the%20home%20page How to set the home page]
Or go to ''''about:config''' search for '''browser.startup.homepage''' change its value to:
'''about:home''' default
'''about:blank''' blank page
'''url''' a page that you want

Does Macbook really needs adobe flash player download in order to watch video clips on the web?
Hello Angel8C,
Your MacBook Air running Yosemite will need an updated version of the Flash Player plugin to play web content that is in the Flash format (not all video content is Flash; there is also HTML5 video, amongst others). If you are being prompted to update your Flash Player plugin, you may find the following article helpful:
