Flash Fles on Secure Server

Hi All
I have a flash file on a page that sits on a secure server.
When the page loads i'm getting the 'page contains both
secure and unsecure
files' or similar.
The actual flash file is on the secure server and i think it
must have
something to do with the way DreamWeaver creates the code.
Any ideas how to get around this?

Hi,
DreamWeaver inserts a reference to the Flash Player plug-in
download page. Look at the code lines around your flash object. You
will see addresses like :
http://www.macromedia.com/....
Simply put an 's' after http. (https).
Even if this is just a link, it actually prompts security
alerts...

Flex mobile connect to remote secure server!!

Hi guys
I'm a beginner with flex mobile.
i'm trying to create an appllication flex mobile. and i have to connect to remote secured server (apache) to get some services deployed.
i did it and when i try with emulator from flash builderit's worked, a pop up window started to enter a login and password for connect to the remote server. it's okay, i get a result.
but now when i try this application with my mobile phone, application launched correctly but i can't connect to remte server ( i dont have anythig like a popup to enter the login and pssword).
i need your help.

Will not allow me to add caldav account (Calendar couldn't log in to the CalDAV server "webdav.skedge.me"error message)or I get the not a secure server message with the option to continue...but then it sticks it wont continue

I WISH I HAD NOT UPGRADED...THIS IS A NIGHTMARE. I need to sync my appointment scheduler that is embedded in my website to my ical (which was easily done through publishing with the previous version) since I have upgraded I dont have the option to publish...but can add the cal DAV account, which I tried to do but I get a "Calendar couldn't log in to the CalDAV server “webdav.skedge.me”." error message if I go through edit ccount> add other account in system prefereneces otherwise I get a not secure server warning that will not continue when I select continue if I simply try to add an account using the + sign options at the bottom left of the systems preference pop up window
found a potenital fix (that I think would work if I could understand how to do what they are telling me to do) it said to configure webdav sharing for active directory accounts...tried to follow the instructions...could not understand them (very techy instructions).
FYI to any one that may find it in thier heart to answer this...I AM NOT COMPUTER LITERATE I am a veterinarian not a computer programer...so please but things in terms I can understand...i dont know what root access or server admin means...I dont know how to edit config files or even open directories with terminal ...i dont know what pico is or how to open it on my computer. Check the date and time in the clock on your computer: (double) click the clock icon on the Windows Taskbar.

You can retrieve the certificate and check who issued the certificate and other details like when it is valid.
* Click the link at the bottom of the error page: "I Understand the Risks"
Let Firefox retrieve the certificate: "Add Exception" -> "Get Certificate".
* Click the "View..." button to inspect the certificate and check who is the issuer.

Flash 8 Player security settings Help

Hi All. Im having some annoying problems with Flash player 8
(the standalone player not web one).
I am making a flash portfolio, and am using an XML file to
import data (such as images and text) into the portfolio at
runtime.
Everything works when run in the flash IDE when i run the swf
(see IDE.gif), but when i run it in local flash standalone player
(see Player.gif), the images are blocked out (un-masked) - this
doesnt happen when i view the swf on the web or when i make a
projector, which makes me think its something to do with flash 8
player security settings.
ive already changed the settings, adding the local path of
the file and the image directories, but still it wont work.
what other settings do i need to change??

There is an MMS.cfg file that you can deploy that will allow

Certificates from Oracle Security Server

Hi everyone
Has anyone been able to genereate a certificate using the Oracle Security Server (OSS) and been able to use that to set up a HTTP listener to use SSL with that?
If so, how????
OAS documentation goes on and on about how to install a certificate from a known CA, but forgets to document it's own OSS.
Please help.

How to Supress secured server alert

I am having problem in suppressing the alert "you will be displayed both secured and non secured items" which comes up when a page is submitted to a secured server. Does someone has the code for the same?

It seems to be a browser issue, not a Java issue...

Cannot Connect to App Store / Establish Secure Server Connection

I've seen a lot of posts on this:
App Store Error: "Cannot Connect to the App Store" (No Internet Connection)
Google (or any other https://) Site Error: "Cannot Establish a Secure Server Connection"
My OS is 10.8.5.
Obviously, I've checked that I have an internet connection. FireFox works... non-secure (http://) sites work... I'm starting to pull my hair out.
These are all suggestions from posts that I've seen. Some worked for some people, but not me!
I've checked that my Date & Time are correct, as suggested.
I've created a new Network Location in my Network System Prefs. Nope. Didn't help.
I've gone thru every Certificate in my Utilities / Keychain Access and eliminated all the blue '+'s'.
I've deleted every *.plist file from my Preferences that I thought might help. Nada. Still no App Store, no Google.
THEN, a Mac epiphany:
Go back to Date & Time Preferences
Under the Date & Time tab - check the box "Set date and time automatically:" (you probably do. I did. But make sure.)
Under the Time Zone tab - check the box "Set time zone automatically..." AHH HA! I didn't have it checked.
Now a message comes up - something like, you don't have your Location Services enabled... hmm.
Go to: System Prefs > Security & Privacy
Under the Privacy tab - check the box "Enable Location Services" (You may have to unlock [paddlelock in lower left] to make changes)
That did it. App Store instantly loaded as well as https:// google.
For those who have tried all the other posted suggestions - before you pull the rest of your hair out - this is one more thing to try.

Fresh EnterPrise One 9.0 (@MSSQL) installation and security server error

Hello!
I've managed to complete Standalone installation without any issues (Win XP SP2 EN) but I have encountered a problem with first login. After entering the password I'm receiving following message: "waiting for security server" and then: "unable to locate security server". Final one says: "failed to communicate with security server: unable to locate security server" and that's it. I can't log in. I've noticed few things:
jdenet_n.exe is not being started with the system startup - I'm running it manually
I can see it's working on correct port (6012 as entered in JDBJ.ini)
Data Sources seems to be configured fine. I've just switched all words '(local)' and 'localhost' to my PC name in Data Source server name, JDE.ini and JDBJ.ini (at all locations). Someone did advice this step if there are security server issues like mine - it didn't help.

I've run out of ideas and google is not able to help any more. Have you encountered it before? I will be grateful for any advice!

Yes all Oracle9iAS installs will have perl directory.
When you run emctl, please make sure Oracle_HOme variable is set properly
You are running the command as the user who installed Oracle9iAS
The restriction to bring down em during second installs will be addressed in the subsequent releases.

Issue when installin Flash Player on Windows Server 2012

Hi,
I have installed the latest version of the Flash Player for Windows Server 2012, but I get the error message: "An error has been encountered. Close the window and downloading again".
I closed the window and downloaded again however I am still getting the same error message. I followed all the steps described on this link: Problemas de instalación | Flash Player | Windows but still getting the same error.

Are you using the online shim installer (about 1 MB in size) downloaded from get.adobe.com/flashplayer, or the offline installer (about 17 MB in size)?

This has never been a problem before.

Downloaded latest Citrixviewer - still problem.
It looks like I have the certificate and it looks OK.

Hi, I had the same thing happen to me. So you need to go to your keychain, open it up and go to your bottom left hand corner and click on show key chains, look for X509 anchors this is where you can find and get access to your certificates. highlight then go up to top of column and click on the padlock. to unlockthe X509 anchors keychain, usually the pass word is your login password. If there is no password asked for you need to make one, this is a high alert area and should be secured. the padlock should then unlock. go over to where you see the lists of certificates and scroll down to the one you need, dbl click the certificate will show in another pop up window. move your cursor over the icon certificate with the option button pushed with your mouse cursor drag the certificate onto the desk top. Dbl click on certificate key chain then asks if you want to add to your key chain click on scroll down button (keychain) to X509 certificate dbl click and it should accept the certificate. you are done. "Unable to connect to secure server." Why?

Safari previously operating OK under OS 10.3.9 suddenly starts reporting "Unable to connect to secure server" with a number of (maybe all?) <https://> sites. Explorer doesn't exhibit this problem. Removing Safari .plist, clearing caches, and removing ~/Library/Safari folder do not help.
Any ideas on what to try next?

I am running OS X 10.3.9 as well. I normally use Firefox as my browser, it runs fine. However all my software updates use Safari as their browser, so I have stopped getting all security updates. Also, I've been unable to access the iTunes Music Store, and Photoshop Elements hasn't worked in a while (I assume they use Safari to connect to the internet).
Does anyone know of a fix. Or how do I simply get Software Updates, iTunes, and Photoshop to start connecting through Firefox?

Securing Server Farm

Hi all,
To securing server in data center, we have to deploy firewall and ips. My question is, do firewall and ips need to securing traffic between server (different subnet, like database server and application server) or just securing traffic between outside server farm and server farm ?

It's up to you in the end but I would recommend having your database servers firewalled from anything else.
The database servers are some of the most important servers in any company and they usually need the highest level of protection.
When I was involved with an Oracle setup we had our database servers on their own vlan behind a firewall which was Oracle's recommendation. Only the application servers were allowed to initiate connections to them and there was no direct access to the database servers except for the admins.
And if you have multiple database servers on the same vlan, if there is no need for them to communicate with each other you can also use private vlans to segregate them within the vlan.
