Thanks for your help
I create a new page. I insert a Flash element. This is the
code I get -
<body>
<script type="text/javascript">
AC_FL_RunContent(
'codebase','
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0','wid th','240','height','180','src','Flash/scripted','quality','high','pluginspage','http://www .macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer','movie','Flash/scripted'
); //end AC code
</script><noscript><object
classid="clsid
27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
codebase="
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0"
width="240" height="180">
<param name="movie" value="Flash/scripted.swf" />
<param name="quality" value="high" />
<embed src="Flash/scripted.swf" quality="high"
pluginspage="
http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="240"
height="180"></embed>
</object></noscript>
</body>
On the page, I see a gray Flash placeholder box in Design
view. If I select
that box, and click "Play" on the Property inspector, the
Flash movie plays.

I updated my iphone and when it came time for activation it won't work and keeps telling me to try again. At the top it says "No Service" and I have my SIM card in and a good WiFi connection and have connected it through iTunes but it says I have no SIM card and need to disconnect and insert my SIM. I don't understand why this keeps happening and it's been going on for a wile now. I have tried over and over again to get this iPhone to work but nothig is happening. I've even gone on the website for support (apple.com/support) but cannot find anything that will help me with this situation. Can someone please help me find a solution to this problem? I have been without a phone and do not have money to buy another one and it is crucial for me to get it fixed. Thanks.

What computer operating system is involved in the Premiere Elements 11 and 13 issues? Same computer or different ones? Are you installing from purchased download installation files or from purchased installation disc? Does Premiere Elements 11 work completely on this computer whereas 13 will not?
Let us go through the typical drill so as to take nothing for granted.
1. Does the problem exist with or without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled? Are you working with an individual home computer or in a
school or company network?
2. Are you running the program as Administrator and is there any "domain" account involved?
3. Is your video card/graphics card up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?
4. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on the computer with Premiere Elements?
Let us start by ruling in or out any of the above, and then we can decide what next.
Any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you.

On both my desktop and notebook, sync just stops working and needs to be set up again! Although my account is still there ?
I have windows 7 on both computers and I use the paid version of Roboform (which does not encounter any problems!) So, I really need my sync to work and keep working. Please help......Do you mean that after closing the browser your Sync set up is gone and you need to Set it up again?
This is, generally, because your privacy settings are too restrictive and you are deleting the password of your Sync account.
You can modify this in the Privacy tab of your Preferences/Options window. Select Remember History or Use Custom Settings in the drop down to configure the level that you want. -
E-mail and Internet Service stopped working and I cannot get it going again - Pearl 8130
I recently activated e-mail and a data package (December 12th to be exact). On Saturday I noticed that I stopped receiving e-mails from my Hotmail, and as of today I'm receiving any e-mails from my work e-mail either. It worked 100% normally up to this point.
My browswer or online applications are not working whatsoever either. It says "There is insufficient network coverage to process your request. Please try again later", which is garbage as I have just fine network coverage as I sit in my office.
Yesterday I received a message to my phone stating:
"Update the password for jsytsma@**************.on.ca in the BlackBerry Internet Service! E-mail messages from jsytsma@**************.on.ca are not being delivereed to your BlackBerry device. To resume receiving email messages from this address, update the password for jsytsma@**************.on.ca in the BlackBerry Internet Service:"
And it proceeds to tell me how to do this. It says I can do it through my phone, which is a dead end as I go to tweak it, and I get the message about "Insufficient network coverage".
I then went to my Web Client login and tried what I thought to be my username and password. I tried several combinations and nothing was working. I have 2 passwords I use for things and I tried them over and over again with different user names, but I'm 95% sure my user name is "jsytsma".
So last resort, I type in my pin and it said the username/password will be sent to my BlackBerry messenger. That would be great if everything were working! So far it's been over 2 hours and I've received nothing.
Is there a number I can call that DOESN'T cost me $55 CDN dollars a call?Do that ^^ as stated.
or:
1. Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.
2. With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot
if still nothing...
3. resend your service books from your carrier BIS site.
http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F
or, for a call that doesn't cost you $55, call your carrier.

ThanksVoltage at 24 pin and 8 pin connectors are ok and under the tolerance as I saw here http://pcsupport.about.com/od/insidethepc/a/power-supply-voltage-tolerance.htm
I will check the other rails.
Hmmm... starting to suspect that the cause is something else.
Missed the beeps in the past.
This mobo (z77a-g45) never emitted a single one.
Not even at startup when it was ok!
Oh man!
The computer was running well and then suddenly screen went black, no disks activity, no keyboard response, no video, no reset switch working. Fans continue spinning.
Had to pull the plug to stop the fans. Then plug it again but no boot. Just cpu phase led 1 is lit, fans activity and nothing more. No welcome screen, no disks activity!
I will try to test the ram on another computer.
Any other clues?

How to Disable the Adobe Flash Player and Reader Updates
Ok, For the last two months or so, I have been plagued by the Adobe Flash Player and Reader updater that will not go away. That's not the worst thing though: Somehow, someway, the Adobe updater subverts my entire windows 7 machine and makes itself the most important program on my system, stopping all other necessary functions. After I just turn it on, the updater will suspend all Windows operations in favor of the updater getting its message out the Adobe "needs" updating. I have tried updating the stupid thing, only to find that after the update goes in, my whole computer locks up and I have to load a system restore point. This thing acts like a virus, and until someone comes up with a way to make it work properly, that's what I'm calling: Adobe creates and sells a computer killing virus. I want a sure fire way to disable the updater that will work, and that will never bug me again about updating the virus. After going through three different computer repair companies, many online forums and chat rooms and my own knowledge of how to disable programs, I have instructed my firewall to block all attempts by Adobe to update. This has to stop.

Trouble with FP 10.3.183.7 upgrade - wasn't working and now doesn't download
Current system info:
Windows 7 (64 bit)
Internet Explorer 9 (using 32 bit for downloading FP)
I upgraded to 10.3.183.7 and immediately noticed my laptop unable to display/use Flash features (facebook games, online flyers, video, etc)
I uninstalled and installed multiple times using both Control Panel and the uninstaller provided on Adobe help page. I restarted my laptop after every install and after every uninstall. I made sure to use 32-bit IE each time.
At first Programs (and Control Panel) showed FP as installed but now it doesn't register as installed at all - aside from the installer program telling me it is installed.
After installing, on the Adobe 'test' page instead of the spinning F I see a box with an 'x' in the top left hand corner (like an image/graphic that won't load).
I tried the beta FP 11 but same problem. It at least showed up on my programs list. I uninstalled it and am back to FP 10.3
I have been on the help page trying anything I can find to get it working but no luck so far. Any advice for this issue?
Thanks,
JillFP does appear in my Control Panel for uninstalling but does not appear in my Programs list. I downloaded Google Chrome and FP seems to work with it (though I'm not a big fan of the browser)So, it would appear to be an IE issue? Flash not working and distorting desktop (LINKS TO PHOTOS)
I have tried everything I can think of. Reinstalled Drivers,
IE, Firefox (same issues with both) tried Flash 8, Flash 9 tried
different order of installs. I have been to S3 site, etc,
This site used to work, but then it had issues. I can not be
sure what changed, though I have tried to revert drivers, versions
...everything to solve this.
I am trying to include all info to help you help me. If I
repeat something forgive me as these are a collection of posts that
I have copied.
NEWEST BIOS and drivers are installed (and have been
reinstalled)
MEMTEST PASSED
Chkdsk passed with 0 errors.
DXdiag shows no errors
No forced hardware or other issues
All devices up to date
XP home SP2 all updates installed.
I have tried driver verifier with vid drivers
I have used flash uninstaller.
Viewing this site
http://www.nbc.com/Video/rewind/full_episodes/heroes.shtml
Causes these issues
Screen Shots here
This is the video as after it goes bad. It starts out fine,
maybe I see a bit of lag first, maybe not.
http://www.moonfest.com/images/S3/vid1.jpg
This is how my desktop is afterwords. New programs and
screens render fine, but the Desktop and icons are screwed even
after a refresh until reboot. Firefox behaves the same. Also the
sound gets very scratchy.
http://www.moonfest.com/images/S3/vid2.jpg
Youtube works fine though.
Machine
Averatec 5400
This is basically the system running 2800+M 32 bit
http://www.amdboard.com/fic_an5w.html
Symptoms first noticed in a very basic card game, now video
like at NBC past episodes will produce artifacts and totally ruin
the desktop as well as effect the sound.
I have tried to clean, then install factory drivers,
VIDEO614100138 (K8M800_16944806_XP_wIShld_logod) then the newest
ones k8m800_wxp_logo_220001j.
I have tried with Firefox, IE7. I have tried flash 8 and 9.c.
Looked in DXdiag (no issues except it shows 9.c and the S3tray
shows 9.b) S3 info shows Bios version 90.f7.00.27 (5/17/2004)
I have tried disabling hardware acceleration, all the way
down.
Tried driver cleaner while changing drivers, and I can't
think of anything else.
What next?
Video breaks with severe artifacts, sound gets scratchy, then
desktop has artifacts which can not be refreshed away, only a
reboot fixes until I run video again.
Bios limits 32MB shared at restart, but even when I move to
64 (stays till restart) issue happens.
System infoMemtest passed. I lowered Shared RAM to MB
(lowest).
The bios defaults to 32MB at every boot. I have tried moving
it to 64MB without success.
System has 768 MB installed.

Youtube works
ABC works
NBC/FLASH - no worky
Any ideas?
I also have a thread in the S3 forum that is a duplicate of
this post
http://chromezone.s3graphics.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=39&topic=202.msg912#msg91 2ActiveX Controls were enabled when I had the problem. I ultimately just did a full Reset on IE, which fixed it. I should also correct an important mistake in my original post -- Flash was not the root cause of my problem, it was HTML5 video NOT Flash video that wasn't working on YouTube. So, the real problem was that IE was launching the HTML5 version of the site instead of the Flash version. I don't know why or what I had done that was causing the problem, but "Internet Options" | "Advanced" Tab | "Reset..." button including deleting personal settings fixed whatever it was.

My Flash player does not work and I have tried every solution I found online
Last week I became unable to use Youtube, Grooveshark and other sites that use Flash. On Youtube I just get a black box and when I right click on it it says "movie not loaded". Grooveshark tells me I may have a flash blocker, which I have not consciously installed. Also, when I try to log on to IMDB I just get a big empty white box instead of the sign in fields.
I am using Windows 7 and Firefox 20.0.1 and Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169
I did some research online and already addressed all the issues that people claimed could cause this problem.
I have already tried: re-installing Flash, re-installing Firefox, switching over to Google Chrome, cleaning my cache and doing a system restore. Nothing worked.
Does anyone have any other suggestions to fix Flash? Any ideas what might be going wrong? Could it be resulting from a Windows update? Did something get deleted when I ran a Ccleaner scan to wipe free space? How can I get Flash working again?This person seems to have the same problem as me and it happened to him or her around the same time:

We have developed a desktop application using Flash software and published the same for MAC environment. When we double click on the index.app file, the application is working perfectly in Mac 10.6.7 at our office. But if the same index.app file is double clicked in Mac 10.6.7 at out clients location, its not opening. For your information the client is able to open this same application by double clicking on index.swf file. The main problem is that client is not able to open the application using index.app file at their office whereas we are able to do so at our office. Can anyone give some suggestions to sort this problem?
The most common reason is different versions of Flash, or different versions of web browsers used. Some users may elect to not have Flash installed at all because of the processor overhead of Flash. If you are going to make an application for a client, check what operating system and browser versions they are using first. Then determine if a stand alone application is required, or if they have the necessary plugins to run specific browser enhanced code.
P.S. MAC is an acronym for Media Access Control. Mac is the shorthand for Macintosh, the operating system and computers made by Apple Inc. -
Flash Player And adobe reader not working and downloads don't work
I have IE 8 and windows vista and everything has worked great for 2 years until 2 or 3 weeks ago. At that time my flash player stopped working so I could no longer get videos , streaming stock quotes, weather map loops, etc and when I go to websites that use Flash (i.e. Piaaz Hut) it wouldn't work. Also, at that same time my adobe reader stopped working properly and I can't view mosy PDF Files.
I have gone through many of the posts on this forum and have tried many of the fixes, but none have work for me.
I tried to uninstall the Flash Player, but I didn't use the Adobe uninstaller.
Whenever I try to update or load the Flash player, a dialog box with the globe tossing papers to the folder appears and then after a few seconds I get the the message that IE can't install_flash_player_ax.exe from fp download.adobe.com, and then a message that says IE was not able to open this internet site. The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.
In control panel programs I have listed
Adobe AIR no size
Adobe Flash Player 10 active X no size
Adobe Reader 9.3 141mb
Macromedia Shockwave player no size
In Tools i have the following add ons and they are all enabled
Shockwave Flash object 10.0.42.34
Adobe PDF Link Helper
Adobe PDF Reader
Macromedia Shockwave Active X Control 10.1
As I said I've already attempted a number of the fixes on this forum, but so far no luck.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I might try?
ThanksOk, I tried to download the firefox browser but IE wouldn't let me download it. My friend downloaded it from their computer to a flash drive and I loaded it to my computer from the flash drive. The download of Firefox from the flash drive worked, and now I'm using Firefox & both my adobe flash player and my adobe reader are working just great.
However, neither the flash player nor the reader are working if I use IE, so I guess I will just have to use Firefox as my browser.
I'm going to mark my question as answered since I really don't care that I have to use Firefox instead of IE,although I can't understand why it works using Firefox but not using IE.
Thank you so much for your assistance in walking me step-by-step through this problem until I was able to reach a satisfactory solution. -
I have a new iphone and went into Itunes and it said my new iphone needed a software update. I let it do this and now the apps that I put on won't work and when pressed just flash on then off the screen. I paid £20 for one of them so any help would be appreciated.

To add to sig's reply, "calibrating" does not calibrate Lithiu-Ion batteries, it calibrates the charge reporting circuitry. If you look at the effect of deep discharging Lithium-Ion batteries in the data from the independent test group, Battery University, you will see that doing so shortens the life of the battery significantly. It looks like an optimum balance between use and life is at a discharge level of 50%.

My 2nd gen ipod shuffle won't work and the light is flashing green and orange. Or green, orange, orange, orange. I've Reset, Restarted, Restored and Re-installed, so before I chuck it out I wondered if there were any other suggestions to get it working? Thanks,
Sounds like it's still under warranty (one year). Take it back for replacement.
