Flashing apple icon on ipad air

i set my ipad air to wake with pandora but failed to connect it to a power source. now it keeps flashing with the apple icon and won't let me logon. I've tried restoring but it says I have to turn "find my ipad" off first which I can't do because i can't logon. I removed pandora from my apps through itunes. I tried updating to the newer os but it won't let me do that either. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

Folder has loading icon on iPad Air

Loading icon on two folders on my iPad Air Home Screen. Lasts for a couple weeks at a time. It's the same icon you see when an app is updating or downloading. However opening the folder shows no apps within the folder are updating/loading?

You can try resetting your iPad by simultaneously pressing and holding the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons until you see the Apple Logo. This can take up to 15 seconds so be patient and don't release the buttons until the logo appears.
Try again to see if the problem persists.

If you do not have am AirPlay device on your home WiFi network, you do not get the icon in the control center. The icon only appears when it is needed.

No Settings Passbook & Apple Pay in iPad Air 2

I want to setup Apple pay on my iPad Air 2, which was received yesterday. I found the following instructions.
To set up Apple Pay on iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, open Passbook and follow the steps below. On iPad Air 2 or iPad mini 3, go to Settings > Passbook & Apple Pay and follow the steps below. blah, blah, blah ...
However, the question there is NO "Passbook & Apple Pay" in the "Settings". I'm using the tablet in Canada. Is there anyone know what should I do? Here is a snapshot for the settings screen.

Flashing Apple icon with horizontal line flashing at random on screen

Here's the background info:
Our G5 completely crashed about 4 months ago. Lost my iTunes library but my iPod mini was full and working, so I used it until the battery died. Now iTunes is reinstalled but I was scared to plug iPod in and wipe out everything on it by mistake. Today after researching on this site I dowloaded Senuti to help with getting the contents of iPod back into iTunes library. Two hours ago I plugged in my iPod into USB on the G5, and at first I got the dead battery icon, but after a couple of minutes I got a flahing Apple icon, with a horizontal line on the screen flashing at random places. iTunes does not 'see' my iPod. Needless to say, Apple support website does not address the issue... Any help is appreciated! Thanks from sunny Florida

Try to connect your iPod with a window PC

b. It is not a difficult issue for a Mac user to find a window base computer, for a PC user, if they can’t find any Mac user, they can go to a nearest Apple Shop for a favor.
c. You may need to switch around the PC and Mac, try to do several attempts between “Format” and “Restore”

so my brothers ipod ran out of power completly while watching a movie on it.
when he plugged it into his computer all it did was show the apple icon and flash on and off, its not charging and teh computer wont recognize it.

you could try reseting the ipod. not sure if it will fix the problem but that is what i do when my ipod is not working and it always fixes the problem

Flashing apple icon on my nano...help please!!!

I was updating my nano, disconnected safely but now all it is doing, is flashing a grey apple icon on a black background. I did the 5 R's and nothing. I have had my Ipod for over a year and have never had this happen. Any ideas?

Let it run down for at least 24 hours. Connect it to power (preferably a wall charger) and charge it for at least 30 minutes. Connect it to your computer and Restore it in iTunes. You may have to put it in disk mode for iTunes to see it.
Incidentally, you need to post in the iPod Nano forum, not the HiFi.

Hi ,I recently have bought an Ipad air,and want to remove some old app icons that have come through from an i pod touch I have?
Lots of discussion for removing apps once downloaded,but none say how to remove icons on apps page that are redundant.

You left out a very important fact in your first post...you are seeing this in the App Store, correct? I was assuming you were just at your iPad's home screen and trying to delete the Apps.
The list you see in the App Store in regards to updates that you've downloaded is a list that cannot be modified nor changed. It's simply meant as an informative list of any updates you've downloaded and when the update was installed. The list will start dropping these updates off after a couple of weeks or so.
