Flex 3 : Dividing DataGridColumn into different Sections

Toughest task was given to me , please help me to complete .
I am displaying data from an XML File on to DataGrid Component .
Now my requirement is that , On to same row of DataGrid , i need to display different
different Fields .
Say for example , a single row of DatagridColumn shoukd consist of Name , Age and Sex
as different sections .
Please help me to complete this . Thanks

Are you saying you want to put all name, age and sex in one cell of the datagrid?
or are you trying to do

Why is text in my exported PDF split into different section? How do I fix it?

I am exporting an INDD CS5 file to PDF to use as a template for others to edit and create new version from the template. When I export the PDF the text is broken up into separate pieces instead of keeping it as one line? I can;t figure out why or how to fix it.
Example:
One line is supposed to say "Cityname Market Update + Broker Logo Here"
In the resulting PDF it is broken up into separate text sections

Each of the text lines is in its own text box. I tried putting them on separate layers.
I tried to export as EPS and the same thing is happening.
I don't know how to resolve this issue! Please help

It is for an online template site where users can edit and create as they see fit. It works by me uploaded a template as PDF or AI and is automajically converted to a working template on the site. For months it has worked great and what I export as PDF turns into a working template on the site.
More recently The resulting templates have been jumbled up as I showed in the example above. I opened up the PDF to check it out and noticed all the text was getting sparated instead of staying together as a specific line as in my original INDD doc.
Here is a screenshot of the indd file with separate text boxes on separate layers (I did the layers thing just to see if it would help...it didn't)
I opened it up in Acrobat Pro to take a look at things and noticed all the text getting split up for some reason.
Same thing when I look at it in Illustrator
Some of it even looks to be getting outlined for some reason.
I am just trying to figure out why it isn't exported as one line.

Why when I copy a CD from my PC to iTunes do the tracks load into different sections of the library?

I've just bought an ipod touch 64gb and have successfully set up iTunes etc. The issue is that when I paste a CD into iTunes from my PC sometimes the tracks are as on the CD but other times they get split up and can be found throughout the iTunes Library. When I try and drag them to the correct album it won't let me drop it. Should I be doing something else or is this a known feature of iTunes that I must learn to live with.

Separating songs on the same album into different sections of the ipod

i dont know what is wrong. but sometimes when i add songs onto my ipod, it'll separate the songs. for example, if i have a 13 track cd and download in onto my ipod, it'll put tracks 1-7 separate from the rest. im so confused and i dont know whats wrong with it...

All songs need to have ALbum Artist filled in or not.
If only one/some have it, it messes it up.

How to save each section report into different excel sheet?
I have a report in which there are 4 sections north south west east now i need to save north in excel sheet 1 , south in sheet2, west in sheet3, and east in sheet4. under each section there is list report.
Please let me know is it possible are not if possible let me no the procedure to be followed.

If you're running XI 3.1 you might be able to solve this as follows.
1. Create four users: east, west, north, south
2. Create a profile that filters on the variable you used for the section/break
3. Publish the report
3.1 Set users created above to be the enterprise recipients
3.2 Add personalization (the profile created above)
3.3 Check the Deliver objects to each user in Destinations
(3.4 You could use %SI_OWNER% to get a nice suffix to the report name)
This should cause four reports to be created, each with its own "personalized" contents.

Best way to set up a movie with many different sections

Hi - i am making a flash demo and have a bunch of different sections / categories that the movie will need to navigate to. I created a similar demo previously and used different "scenes" to keep track and organize the different categories. Should i keep using scenes to navigate to or is there a better, more professional way to do my movie?
Also, where could i find more information on properly organizing and setting up my flash files? ie: naming conventions, etc.

There isn't really a definitive answer as to how one should set up a file, though a frequent recommendation is to avoid the use of scenes if you plan to incorporate navigation between different sections. While the concept of arranging separate sections as scenes is good, in reality, scenes can be problematic when it comes to implementing navigation into them.
Sometimes the set up choice is best decided based on how much content is involved and how that content is to be accessed (web versus pc presentation). If there is potential for some heavy file size, it may be better to create different sections as separate swf files and load them dynamically.
If you want to have the whole thing within one file, then you can use the one main timeline, dividing it into sections, using labels to navigate to them, or you could create it all in one frame and use visibility to control what anyone is seeing at any time. The latter of those two is handy if you have sections that need to retain information/settings in the event returning to them is necessary... if you just make them invisible, then they retain whatever state they were in.
And you can combine the various approaches if there is any utility in doing so. It really boils down to doing what you reason to be suitable for the job, and sometimes it even boils down to what approach you are most comfortable following... design efficiency is not necessarily always a driving factor is getting results.
As for conventions, you might try searching Google using the terms you think best identify what you are after. You might be able to find some beginner level tutorials that will go into some detail regarding coding conventions and whatnot.

Am creating document with Pages. pages are in "portrait" orientation, but two charts at end need to be "landscape". changing the orientation for one section changes it for entire doc. can i have different orientations in Pages for different sections?

am creating a document with Pages. all pages using "portrait" orientation, except 2 appendices need to be in "landscape". in Word for Windows it is possible to have different page orientations for different sections of a document. is that possible with Pages. Even when i put the appendices in a different section, changing the page orientation changes it for the entire doc.

Make a separate document the size and orientation you want.
Turn that into a pdf and add it back into the original Pages document or into the pdf from from that document.

Thanks for your help. I actually was able to divide into 4 sections in landscape layout by resizing 4 equal text boxes 4.25x5.50 with .25 " margins. I have not created a coupon yet. Will this format work or not. Also once I have created the coupon is there away to copy paste it with out losing the formatting. The last time I tried to do that it lost the formatting. EQ'ing different sections of a Track

I am somewhat new, but proficient at Logic. What I want to do is take only a certain section of a single track, and just apply the EQ to only that small section (i.e. a different vocal EQ at a verse or bridge). Help me out, guys. Thanks

Automation.
You can either have a dedicated EQ inserted for the sections you want to treat, then simply automate an insert bypass for the sections you don't.
Or physically adjust the EQ values with automation so that they ramp into the sections you need a bit of extra treatment on.
I'd say the former is the easier method, but I wouldn't recommend it with third party plugs as you may get artefacts as the plugs are engaged. The latter is a preferrable method if you want to duck some sibilance or reduce a pop for example as it will give a smoother transition.

Photomerge in Photoshop breaking picture into 3 sections

I am using a trial copy of Photoshop and have been trying to make a panorama of 53 JPEGs varying in size from 5000 KB to 9000 KB. The photos that are stitched look great. However, the panorama is broken up into 3 sections.
Below is a screen shot--these are maps that I have created.
Canvas Size: What appears to be happening is that the merge program is not making a large enough canvas.
Image size. The original pictures are 300 dots per sq inch.

I've been trouble shooting and found the problem. It is with the maps pictures. Something was different between how the maps were compiled. I'm recompiling all of the maps. Photoshop is is doing an amazing job of stitching them together. The file is going to be very big. I hope I can get it printed. This is a screen clipping of my progress so far.

How do I record narration into different tracks for different subjects??

I'm doing a narration on various items, and need to record it on a CD, broken down into different 'songs' so folks can skip around and find what they need. I already have the narration recorded as one long hour plus recording. Can it be broken up?

You can use the cycle region to mark each "song" - if the Cycle region is active, only the section marked by the cycle region will be shared to iTunes. This way you can export each section separately to iTunes as a different song. In iTunes use the Info panel to assign different track numbers to each section and burn the album to a CD.

Hi,
In Itunes, i have put a few songs by the band i am in - when i have edited all the information to be exactly the same and click on the respective album to just show these songs they are in 3 different sections (as if it were 3 different albums) rather than all being in one list.
How can i get them into one album as such? Itunes says there is only one album there but it shows them separately.

Try selecting all the songs at same time before doing 'get info'. When the editing window opens with multiple songs selected only fields that are the same on all selected tracks will be filled in when window opens. After opening window type in the album name in appropriate field.
What happens sometimes is that there are extra spaces in tags. The program sees them but we may not.

You can't. Margins apply to the entire document.
What you can do is set the margins to their max width and then use left and right indents for the sections you want narrower.
