somebody has it a piece of code allowing me in a canvas to
read a file XML and automatically to add as much field text than of
information contained in my file xml

Try changing the xml structure by using CDATA instead of having the russian part as an attribute and see if that makes any difference.
What I meant is use something like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
 <Autoparts>
 <autopart>
 <description><![CDATA[Барабан]]></description>
</autopart>
</Autoparts>
instead of the current xml.

simply write the text in the text field and then publish the movie
the scrollbar works fine. However i need to read in the text
through XML but when i do this the scrollbar does not work. Is

Okay found this:

however, the height really doesn't adjust when the copy does.
If I start
off with the dynamic text box at 50 pixels high, it remains

So I'm back to the drawing board. I want to have an XML file

Headline, BodyCopy, and disclaimer copy. I want to call the
nodes into
Flash and stylize them.
I DO NOT want to use CSS since I am using funky fonts that
will not be
available on all machines. Want those fonts embedded in Flash
so it
shows the same on any computer.

Flex, xml, and non-English characters

Hello! I have a Flex web app with AdvancedDataGrid. And I use httpService component to load some data to grid. The .xml file contains non-english characters in attributes (russian in my case) like this:

 <autopart DESCRIPTION="Барабан">

And when i run app, AdvancedDataGrid display it like "ÑÐŸÐ". How can i fix it? I try to change encoding="utf-8" with some another charsets, bun unsuccesfully. Thank you.

Yes it doesn't. Where do you store this information when you are posting in FF68, can you tell me the field names or where exactly do you see these fields.
For check deposit, you can design your own layout and field text in the layout will not be exactly what you will see in the table. I think that must be the case in your scenario.
Suggest look at the layout configuration from Transaction code OT45, open the variant you use (you can find that from the FF68 screen, menu option Settings --> specifications).
Also, pick one already posted check deposit in FF68 and look for the values you are interested in for that statement in tables FEBKO and FEBEP.
There are other tables in Banking but I do not think they would be of much use like FEBCL, FEBRE and FEBVW. FEBVW will give you the bank name where you are depositing the slip.

Drag and drop text fields

Hey. trying to drag and drop a text field. So I have created a text field, and saved it as a swf. I then load it in using xml and the loader class. When I go to pick it up, i get the error
TypeError: Error #1034: Type Coercion failed: cannot convert flash.text::TextField@10d59b51 to flash.display.Sprite.
 at GalleryNew_fla::MainTimeline/pickUp()[GalleryNew_fla.MainTimeline::frame1:81]
It is specifically pointing to

Should I be casting it to something else or something?

I will try and explain what I am doing better, because I am problably doing this tottally wrong, I am just mixing a lot of code to get something together.
Basically, I have several buttons. If a button is pressed, it displays objects in a sort of holder. These objects might be images, animations etc. When these are placed in the holder, they can be dragged and dropped. If they are not dropped in the right location, they go back to their position in the holder.
So, my first two buttons work great. These just deal with images. button5, which I am working on now, is dealing with textfields. So, it should load my textfield swfs, place them in the holder, and made to be drop and draggable. Problem is, I am using the code which i used for the images, which is where I might be going wrong.
If I show you the code, maybe you could suggest a better way to do things

I have a new requirement but I´m with doubts, how to send an e-mail with two attachements (XML and PDF) and body text using -

You can check out two table in respect to Sales TEXT i.e. STXH (STXD SAPscript text file header) and STXL(SAPscript text file lines).
The best approach of tracing out the Text in respect to Sales Order would be to use the Function module READ_TEXT and put this FM in SE37 and execute with the following parameter.
Client
Text ID of text to be read
Language of text to be read
Name of text to be read
Object of text to be read
Archive handle
Text catalog local
When you are essentially looking to read item level Text with respect to Sales Order then your Text OBject would be VBBP.

XSLT and generated text using InDesign with xml

I have recently switched from Framemaker to InDesign and am still getting to grips with the differences so apologies if this is a very basic query.
Framemaker was used to format sgml tagged text. You could specify that a particular tag generated a prefix or suffix. You could also specify that the tag should generate the prefix or suffix only under certain circumstances (context rules). The prefixes and suffixes I need to apply are things like open and closing brackets, commas, full stops, and sometimes a bit of text.
I am told that this can be done with XSLT. There are whole libraries of books on XSLT out there and not knowing anything about the subject I really don't know where to start. Does anyone out there who uses InDesign with xml and XSLT have any tips about where to find useful information on the subject?

Urgency: how to add additional fields to XML and tranfer to MDMcatalog

Dear experts:
I have realized the standar process for contract to mdm. when contract is released, the MDM catalog be updated automatically.
but I still have two requirement.
1. In standar process, the product category and short description these two fields are not in XML and can not transfer to MDM.
2. I have some user-defined fields in header in contract . I hope these CUFs can be added to XML and transfer to mdm ,
please tell me how to do or give me some document in SRM. (srm 7.0 MDM-Catalog 3.0 , MDM 7.1).

I'm doing a comparison of data transmission between XML and binary with field separator.
Example of XML

Example of binary with field separator

Of course, using XML will consume of much resources and processing power but with easier maintenance and development.
I'm doing some data feed with high transaction like Nasdaq, NYSE, etc. How you think about it...?
Any web site does the comparison of the above? I have googled but not much information found.

Changing field text color and fill based on input value.

I am trying to create a field that can be red, yellow or green. In the end, what I need is a box that can be made red, yellow or green by the form user. My strategy is to use a validation script to change the field and text color based on the field input. So if you type "red", the text and field turn red, essentially making a red box. The field is named "GoalColor".
Am I headed in the right direction to get make this dynamic colored box?
This script works but you must type "red" into the field(including quotation marks). Any ideas on why the word red alone isn't triggering it?

And you don't need to add the quotation marks in the text field. In fact, doing it will cause the script not to identify the word.

Create a dynamic text field with Arial font embeded. Set the
HTML property to true.

If you are using ActionScript to test the htmlText, use

I have newly joined this forum and while going through the
posts I came across your post which I thought I could help out. But
I think I am too late for the reply.
I am also into Flashlite development couple of months from
now. Coming to your questions:
1. Textbox problem: I am surprised to know that E70 mobiles
(Device central list has E70-1 only) does not show input text box
when cursor is in input box. Anyways its a good thing that you dont
get an additonal input box. Like all J2ME applications you will be
able to type the text inline. Infact we had reverse problem where I
was told to create inline edit input box instead of flashlite input
box. I think this is the mobile setting. Check the device features
in the Adobe Device Central under Flash - Standalone player - Text
and Fonts features. It will be mentioned whether inline text is
allowed or not.
2. Soft keys issues: You need to use
fscommand2("SetSoftKeys", "Previous", "Next");
and use a key listener in order to override the Mobile
Softkey commands. Check out the flashlite help which clearly
explains this.
