FlexReport: Printview does not show PrintADG rows

Hi all,
I am using FlexReport such that I send an AdvancedDataGrid columngroups and its dataProvider (ArrayCollection) as parameters via the dataProvider of the Report. My Preview.mxml extends the SuperPanel ( http://www.wietseveenstra.nl/blog/2007/04/flex-superpanel-v15/ ).
I test the whole functionality in a separate test mx:Application, whose init() method creates a hardcoded ADG and a PreviewSuperPanel that is added to the application child list. Everything is working well.
var da : ArrayCollection = new ArrayCollection([...]);
var gcols: Array = new Array();
var groupCol1 : Array = new Array();
var groupHeader : AdvancedDataGridColumnGroup = new AdvancedDataGridColumnGroup();
groupHeader.headerText = "";
var newADGColumn : AdvancedDataGridColumn = new AdvancedDataGridColumn();
newADGColumn.dataField = "d";
newADGColumn.headerText = "";
newADGColumn.sortable = false;
groupHeader.children.push(newADGColumn);
gcols.push(groupHeader);
// etc..
var source:DemoReportDP = new DemoReportDP(text, da, gcols);
var report:DemoReportADG = new DemoReportADG();
doc = new Document(report, source, PaperFormat.A4);
doc.pdfScript = "http://www.kemelyon.com/flexreport/create.php";
doc.pdfEnabled = true;
var printPreview : PreviewSuperPanel = new PreviewSuperPanel();
printPreview.title = "Report Print View";
printPreview.width = 800;
printPreview.height = 700;
printPreview.x = this.createdWindows * 20;
printPreview.y = this.createdWindows * 20;
printPreview.showControls = true;
addChild(printPreview);
printPreview.doc = doc;
In my real application, I have a SuperPanel with a menu to update, saving, retrieving, printing etc Reports with simple logo, header and Table (which I convert to ADG). From this menu, when I call Print, it is supposed to create a dataProvider with the logo, title, array collection and ADG columngroups. Finally, it should show another child SuperPanel for my Preview object. The header containing the logo and the title is shown, the matrix with its headers, columns and rows are also correctly shown. The problem is that the data in the rows is not shown (no numbers and no text in the matrix).
In org.print.ReportAdvancedDataGrid.mxml, the init() method is:
this.groupedColumns = (this.parent.parent as Report).dataProvider.gcols;
if(this.width > this.parent.parent.width) {
     this.width = this.parent.parent.width - 100;
this.validateNow();
which is exactly the same as in the Test version above.
I would be very thankful if someone helps me around.

Thank you for your reply.
New development.  The issue has to do with a descriptor ID column.  The customer number column is a varchar field and I set the descriptor ID column to the column_ID field.  When I remove the descriptor ID setting, I received all custom numbers.

  • "Mission Control" does not show space row and I cannot add a new space (27 inch screen)

    Firstly, "Mission Control" does not show upper row with spaces. I have configured Dashboard as space, but it is not showed either.
    Second, I cannot add a new space because the upper right corner wont show an empty space.
    In system I have configured (Mission Control) the upper right corner as "mission control".
    I do run a 27-inch screen

    I'm having the exact same problem. I have a Macbook Pro that I connect to a 27inch iMac through the mini display port. Whenever I attempt to launch Mission control to move a program to a different space, the "Spaces" dont appear at the top of the screen. Is anyone have an answer for this?
    Also, does anyone know of a 3rd party program to bring "Spaces" back? That was my #1 favorite thing of Snow Leopard, and I need to get that functionality back.
    Thanks

  • Analysis does not show all rows returned by SQL

    Hi.
    OBIEE 11.1.1.7.0
    I have a strange problem.  I have a simple table that should return customer number and sales.  The report will show all of the sales, but it does not show all the customer numbers.  The SQL that OBIEE creates does return all of the customer numbers.  When I remove the sales and just include the customer number, the report only shows a couple of the customer numbers (it should show several hundred).
    I guess what I'm looking for is any advice for how to debug this.  I have spent about 3 days on this problem, so I have tried to look at it from every angle (data, RPD, report).
    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thank you.

  • JTable Problem (table does not show rows and columns)

    Hi All,
    What the table is suppose to do.
    - Load information from a database
    - put all the values in the first column
    - in the second column put combobox (cell editor with numbers 1-12)
    - the 3rd column put another combobox for something else
    - the 4th column uses checkbox as an edit
    The number of rows of the table should be equal to the number of
    record from
    the database. If not given it default to 20 (poor but ok for this)
    The number of columns is 4.
    But the table does not show any rows or
    column when I put it inside a
    JScrollPane (Otherwise it works).
    Please help,
    thanks in advance.

    Why are you creating your own TableModel? It looks to me like the DefaultTableModel will store you data. Learn how to use JTable with its DefaultTableModel first. Then if you determine that DefaultTableModel doesn't provide the required functionality you can write your own model.

However, when there are several existing rows and I have to scroll to next pages. an insert button on that page does not show the new Row at all. Is there a way for me to see the row even if I scroll over to the last page and try an insert?
    ViewObject myVO = this.getMyView();
    Row newRow = myVO.createRow();
    newRow.setAttribute("Id", myId);
    myO.insertRow(newRow);
    Thanks

    Hi,
    I also have problems with code above for inserting a new row.
    When I insert a new row in a table and click on column header (to change sorting), that row (and any other new row before committing) disappears from table. And if I commit that table (without missing row), the missing row reappears with next refresh.
    Selection in that table (using SelectOne component with Autosubmit=true) also doesn't work with new rows (with existing rows it works fine). Selection allways sticks on first inserted row!
    Something weird is happening here...
    Please help.

  • WPF: How to make the first column does not show row separator and Left column separator in DataGrid?

    Our WPF application uses DataGrid.
    One of request is that first column of DataGrid does not show row separator and also does not show Left column separator. So it looks like the first column does not belong to the DataGrid. However, when select a row, the cell of first column still get selected.
    How do we make it? Thx!
    JaneC

    Hi Magnus,
    Thanks for replying our question and provide your solution!
    Your solution works by setting "HorizontalGridLinesBrush" and "VerticalGridLinesBrush" to {x:Null} in the DataGrid style and modify "CellStyle" in first column as following:
    <DataGridTextColumn MinWidth="32"
    Binding="{Binding CellName}"
    CanUserReorder="False"
    CanUserSort="False"
    Header="Cell}"
    IsReadOnly="true" >
    <DataGridTextColumn.CellStyle>
    <Style TargetType="DataGridCell">
    <Setter Property="IsEnabled" Value="False"></Setter>
    <Setter Property="Template">
    <Setter.Value>
    <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type DataGridCell}">
    <Border BorderThickness="0" BorderBrush="{x:Null}"
    Background="{Binding Background, RelativeSource={RelativeSource AncestorType={x:Type DataGrid}}}" Margin="-1">
    <Grid Background="{TemplateBinding Background}" VerticalAlignment="Center" Height="42">
    <ContentPresenter VerticalAlignment="Center"/>
    </Grid>
    </Border>
    </ControlTemplate>
    </Setter.Value>
    </Setter>
    </Style>
    </DataGridTextColumn.CellStyle>
    </DataGridTextColumn>
    We found another way to achieve it by using DataGridRowHeader. The good way to use DataGridRowHeader is that we do not need to make the first column ReadOnly (click on first column does not select whole row anymore). Select RowHeader in a row will select
    whole row. Move scroll bar horizontally, the row header still keep in visible area.
    <Style TargetType="{x:Type DataGridRowHeader}" x:Key="dataGridRowHeaderStyle">
    <Setter Property="VerticalContentAlignment" Value="Center" />
    <Setter Property="HorizontalAlignment" Value="Center" />
    <Setter Property="Height" Value="42" />
    <Setter Property="SeparatorBrush" Value="{x:Null}" />
    <Setter Property="FontSize" Value="16" />
    <Setter Property="Template">
    <Setter.Value>
    <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type DataGridRowHeader}">
    <Grid>
    <Border x:Name="rowHeaderBorder"
    BorderThickness="0"
    Padding="3,0,3,0"
    Background="{Binding Background, RelativeSource={RelativeSource AncestorType={x:Type DataGrid}}}"
    BorderBrush="{x:Null}">
    <ContentPresenter HorizontalAlignment="{TemplateBinding HorizontalContentAlignment}"
    VerticalAlignment="{TemplateBinding VerticalContentAlignment}"
    SnapsToDevicePixels="{TemplateBinding SnapsToDevicePixels}" />
    </Border>
    </Grid>
    </ControlTemplate>
    </Setter.Value>
    </Setter>
    </Style>
    <DataGrid>
    <DataGrid.RowHeaderStyle>
    <Style TargetType="DataGridRowHeader" BasedOn="{StaticResource dataGridRowHeaderStyle}">
    <Setter Property="Content" Value="{Binding CellName}" />
    <Setter Property="Width" Value="35"/>
    </Style>
    </DataGrid.RowHeaderStyle>
    </<DataGrid>

    Hi,
    the column object_name refers to a object_name which is 'JOBS', the column owner refers to the owner 'HR', the value isn't stored together, so you have to select the two columns. It is the same behaviour as every other table/view. Have a look at the values in the view DBA_OBJECTS.

  • Fiscal Year / Periods does not show properly in WebI and compunding

    Hi,
    I have few reports where I am using Fiscal Year /Period as filter.
    I have created a Universe on the top of a SAP BI Query and did not do any customization.
    Then I created a WebI report. In this report I created various filters beside Fiscal Year / Period. When I run report, filter window opens. I can select all other filters but when it comes to Fiscal Year / Period it does not show me the values I want to see. It shows AUG 0001, APR 0025 etc. I want to see AUG 2010, MAR 2009 etc so that I can select them and get the data of the required Fiscal Year / Period. In Cube I have the required data. If I select MAR 0010 etc I donu2019t get any data.
    On the other hand if I put fiscal Year / Period in columns or rows it shows the right value.
    If also run SAP BI Query and Fiscal Year / Period in Variable then on variable screen I can see the right value from where I can select and get the required result.
    Do I have to do any step at Universe level or something else?
    It seems that Fiscal Year / Period is compounding.
    Is there any help?
    Thanks
    Bashir Awan

    Ingo,
    for thanks for igniting my thoughts in this regards.
    Yes these values do exist in SAP BW.
    It is some how compunding the values at filter level.
    It does not let me see the whole value when filter screen popup in BOBJ.
    In SAP whole value shows when variable screen popup, I see three columns Fiscal Year / Period. Text, Posting Period Key, and Posting Year Key.
    Fiscal year / Period Text which shows Aug 2009, Posting Period Key which shows our period 1 to 16, and Fiscal year key which shows 2009 etc.
    Is there any setting in BOBJ which compunds the year for variable screen so that we may see the whole values for filters?
    thanks

  • LOV does not show newly added data in the same session

    Hi guys,
    I work with JDeveloper 11g Release 2. We use Oracle ADF to develop our web app.
    In a page we have a LOV (say the page name is "a"). The related data for that LOV is inserted to the db in another page ( say the page name is "b").
    When new data is added in the page "b" and goes directly to the page "a" the LOV does not show newly added data. But if the user log out and log in again
    LOV shows newly added data correctly.
    Is there a way to show the newly added data in the same session without logging out? Please help.
    Regards !
    Sameera.

    Add the following method in your ViewRowImpl base class:
    public void refreshLOVAccessorQueries() {
        List lovs = getViewDef().getListBindingDefs();
         if (lovs != null) {
             for (Object obj : lovs) {
                getListBindingRSI((ListBindingDef)obj).getRowSet().executeQuery();
                 ListBindingDef lbd = (ListBindingDef)obj;
    Export that method to the Row Client interface, add him to the pageDef, and invoke in the executables section of the pageDef:
        <executables>
    <invokeAction Binds="refreshLOVAccessorQueries" id="callRefreshLOVs"
    RefreshCondition="#{!requestContext.postback and empty bindings.exceptionList}"/>
       </executables>

  • Portlet repository-- Seeded providers does not show Portal Content area

    Hi,
    When I login to portal as admin user go to administration --> Display portlet repository--> Seeded providers does not show Portal Content area.I tried to search but no results shown.
    Any idea as to how to get it back ?
    Thanks and regards.
    Neeti.

    1. From the Portal Object Navigator, click on the Applications
    tab.
    2. In the "Find" box, type %search% and click "Go"
    3. There are 2 reports you need to modify, depending on which
    portlet provider you want to use: RPT_SEARCH (owned by
    people_app) and SEARCH_RESULT (owned by wwv_system)
    4. For each report, click the "Edit" link
    5. Click the "Display Options" tab
    6. Under the "Full Page Options" heading, change the "Size"
    for "Row Text" to 12. (If you are running the reports as
    portlets, then you must also change the "Size" for "Row Text"
    under "Portlet Options".)
    7. Click OK
    Search results are now visble using either portlet, the Oracle
    Portal provider or the PEOPLE_APP provider.
    You may also need to change the field settings on the hierarchy
    if now when you run the people search you receive SQL errors.
    Here is what worked for me (assuming you want to change both
    users components):
    1. On the Application Tab search for %search% and %detail%
    components. You don't need to change the WWMON components.
    Change the font size on the full page and portlet options
    (Display Options Tab)for the heading and text (I use 12 and
    11pt). Otherwise the default can only be read with a magnifying
    glass.
    2. The org chart components are slightly different. Search for %
    org% and you will find 2 components org_chart and orgchart. Both
    of these need to have the column fields changed (Table or View
    Column tab) as well as the font size for the Parent, Child,
    Grandchild (Display Options Tab). Here are the Table Column
    settings (for some reason they are initially blank - yet will
    fail if recompiled without values):
    People_App.Org_chart
    1. key values:
    primary key - empno
    parent key - manager
    start with - empno
    ww_system.orgchart
    1. Primary Key Column WWSEC_PUBLIC_DIRECTORY.ID
    Parent Key Column WWSEC_PUBLIC_DIRECTORY.MANAGER
    Start With Column WWSEC_PUBLIC_DIRECTORY.ID
    Hope this helps. The second half of the answer provided by Rich
    Pickett.

    Open Audio Midi Setup in Applications>Utilities, see the input & output options & KHz setting there, some things will change it for their own use, then not set it back.

    Can you link to the example you are using?
    What is a "return" that it does not show? I am not familiar with these terms.
    Why don't you attach a simplified version of your VI with steps to demonstrate the problem

    Yes it is done through iTunes. The iPhone will never show up in Finder as a device. The following is general information on iTunes sync: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1386 and the following is a previous discussion where the post by Andreas Junge helped others that had a problem syncing audiobooks: https://discussions.apple.com/message/20052732#20052732
