Flip or spin in Graphic

Does anyone have any idea how to spin in a graphic? When I apply the 'flip' effect, it also affects the video below. I can't even spin it using keyframes because FCP X doesn't work in 3D space. This will explain it a little better.

It's a "general purpose" Effect (primarily used to add Drop Shadows to overlaid green screen media...) It has a 3D rotation facility (dial down the Rotation disclosure triangle and use/keyframe the Y parameter.) You can also use this effect to scale the media if you like, apply a border, and of course, add a Drop Shadow (as long as there is "alpha" in the media, or if you scale the media down smaller than it's original size.)

  • Macbook Pro Graphics Problem?

    Hello everyone,
So i have been having this problem recently where my Macbook Pro would flip out and the graphics would lag and go crazy. If i try to drag a window it would leave a trail behind. I was able to take a screen shot of it and you can actually see the problem. This lets me know that it is most likely a software rather than a hardware problem. What can I do about this? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

  • Lost volume and mute screen graphic after various STB settings changes - how to get it back?

    STB: QIP7232
    Software Release 1.9
    Build 10.95
Just got FIOS triple play installed yesterday. I am using STB to control TV volume (had to use remote code 9-5-5 to make that work - STB software settings alone did not work). I need to use the STB for volume because my older TV - SD Mitsubishi - cannot be controled via remote - its remote sensor no longer works. Initailly I had a graphic volume bar on screen - upper right quadrant - when changing Volume or using Mute from the remote - the graphic bar would disappear after about 10 seconds. After exploring and changing some of the STB settings, I noticed that the volume bar no longer displays at all. I'd like it back - but cannot figure out how to get it back. The graphic feedback helps me know that the STB received the command from the remote. The volume function from the remote is working - it is the graphic I am missing.
Does anyone know what STB setting might affect this? Or, is it possible to go back to "default" settings on the STB?
I tried calling Verizon - but they were not helpful - as long as volume control was working, they did not want to help me get the graphic back.
Anyone else encounter this? Thanks in advance...
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Thanks for your reply, but Volume Control was already set to Variable. And sorry for the delay in responding - I was trying to figure out if I could repeat (and even fix) the issue - now I have - tho there may be more than one way to do this:
To produce the problem on my setup:
    1. While watching TV with no STB graphics on screen - check to see volume control graphic is there by hitting volume button on remote - wait until the graphic goes away.
    2. On Remote, hit Favorites button (already set to "Toggle Flip by Favorites") - Info graphic (bottom 1/3 of screen) comes up indicating that I am in "Mode:Favorites 1".
    3. On Remote, hit Guide Button
    4. On Remote hit Exit Button
Volume / Mute graphic no longer appears when the buttons are pressed on the remote, tho the volume / mute functions do work. I can power off the STB - and still the volume / mute graphics are gone.
    To fix:
    1. On Remote, hit "On Demand" Button. (Wait for "loading" to finish)
    2. On Remote, hit Exit.
Now the volume / mute graphic is visible again!
    Hunh???
    Is this a bug?
Note: remote is VZ P265v2 RC

  • Problem with Spin Smart Build

Hi all, I am currently working on a year in review slide with 90 or so photos, I have an image as my Background and in the center of the slide I want to have the pictures spin in and out. It works except that I keep getting white boxes at random intervals where pictures do exist. All the pics are coming from my iPhoto libraries. Any advice?

I've run into the same problem on SOME transitions when exporting to FLASH (.swf) format.
In my case it ONLY happens if I have more than 12 photos in the smart build, and some transitions do NOT have the problem (FLIP and SPIN do NOT; push does - unfortunately)...
can anybody else confirm that the problem only happens with more than 12 photos???
also, the white 'boxes' in the center of the flash are the outlines of other photos... with 13 photos, the white box is of the 2nd pic in the build; with 14 photos, the 2nd and 3rd outlines show up; etc.

  • Could I have damaged my hard drive?

Yesterday I was moving my router and cable modem around my desk, and, to make a long story short, some cables were tangled and a small desk lamp took a four-foot swan dive onto my MacBook Pro. The point of impact was about two inches below the keyboard and one half inch from the left side of the computer (it was open), resulting in a maybe 1/8" dent in the top case.
I didn't think much of it (other than "I'm an idiot" and "I wonder ho much top cases go for on eBay) until about an hour later when my computer froze up. After a minute or so of rainbow pinwheel, it went to the blank blue screen. After staring at this for a minute or two, I went for a manual power down. Unfortunately, when I tried to boot up again, I couldn't get past the gray screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel graphic. I tried running Disk Utility and repaired my permissions to no avail. Then I tried archiving and reinstalling to try to fix the issue, but each time it would hang up in the "Copying Base Files" (or something like that) stage at a given percent and go no further. It was at this point that one of my roommates pointed out some strange noises, and they were estrange indeed: Clicking and popping sounds coming from the hard drive area, along with intermittent spooling up and slowing back down.
Starting to fear the worst, I picked up a FireWire cable this morning (I can't believe how hard it so to find those things) and ran Target Disk on a Mac Pro in a nearby computer lab to try to rescue some of the essentials (I am lazy and have not backed up in about a month). I noticed as many partial installs as times I had attempted to install OS X, and a corresponding number of archived files. While most of my files copied fine, a few gave me an error that read like this:
"The Finder cannot complete the operation because some data in "Lightroom 2 Catalog Previews.lrdata" could not be read or written. (Error code -36)"
I tried running Hardware Test from my install DVD, and both the regular and extended tests came back with "No trouble found."
Based on the facts that the computer took a sudden impact directly above the hard drive, the drive itself seems to be hanging up when being written to at certain points, and some of the data seems to have been damaged (not to mention the "click pop" soundtrack when the drive hangs up), my guess is that the hard drive might need replacing. I have a fair idea of what I'm doing and have no problem doing a little open-Mac surgery (not to mention the fact that 7200rpm 200GB+ drives are now under $100- when did that happen), but Id really like to be able to confirm that this is the problem. I have never actually had to troubleshoot hardware issues like this. Is there something else that I can run, or is it a pretty safe bet that the drive is trashed?
Later this afternoon I'm going to drag the 300GB external down to the lab, restart target Disk, and copy as much as I can, but i think with the errors I've been seeing it's a safe bet that much of it is trashed. After that ,I'm going to make a last-ditch effort to reformat the drive and do a clean install, but I'm betting that it will either hang up partway through the erasing process, or get stuck on the writing side like it did with the archive and reinstall.
Any advice you can offer will be greatly appreciated. As a student, I'm sure you can imagine the urgency here.

Yes, I too fear the bluing and tattooing to be the case.
If it helps, I just remembered that I also reset my PRAM and SMC somewhere along the way.

  • Lots of problems with newer MacBook Pro

I bought my first Mac about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately I've had lots of problems with it. I need to get it repaired, but I'm not sure what's wrong. I live in Thailand so I want to have some idea of what's going on before taking it to a shop (so they don't try to price gouge me).
The first problem happened about 9 months after i bought it. The computer would become incredibly slow. Sometimes it would take 15 minutes to boot up and sometimes it wouldn't boot up at all. But sometimes it was fine. If it did boot up, sometimes when I'd go into a folder in Finder, nothing would show up. The spinning loader graphic would just spin at the bottom of the Finder window. I ran a disk check and it said it found multiple errors that could not be fixed. I erased the hard drive and reinstalled Lion and everything seemed fine. Since I live in Thailand and I need my computer for work, I didn't want to ship it off to Apple to be fixed. It seemed fine after formatting the hard drive, so I figured it was fixed.
About 3 months later the problem came back, but much worse. I couldn't boot up or anything. I took it to a small Mac repair shop because at this point the 1 year warranty had expired. Of course inside the shop it booted up fine and I had to explain to the guy that for 5 days I haven't even been able to turn it on. Finally after restarting 4 times it began slowing down and he could see what I was experiencing. He said he could try replacing the hard drive, but couldn't guarantee it would fix it. I needed my computer badly at this point so I said let's try. I came back a couple days later and he had transferred everything to the new hard drive and installed it. Everything seemed to be working fine.
That worked, although sometimes (rarely) something weird would happen, like the computer would just shut down for no reason. But, the DVD drive stopped working. It loads a disc OK, but it can't read it and won't burn a DVD. One time it wouldn't eject my DVD for about 30 minutes. I was trying everything I could find on Google. Finally it spit it out.
Now, about 6 months later, I was watching a movie and about 10 small colored boxes popped up on the screen. They went away after a few seconds, so I closed my movie and went to shut down my computer. The entire screen then filled with horizontal rainbow colored static. It stayed for about 30 seconds, then the screen turned grey. I could hear and feel the fans blowing at full speed.
And then for about a full day it went away, until earlier today. As I was backing up all my files I played a quick part of a movie. The same squares popped up on the screen so I immediately closed the movie and they went away.
I finished backing up and then erased the hard disk. I started installing Mountain Lion, and it stopped at about 75%. I canceled the installer and restarted. After a few seconds the screen turned solid blue with white staticky lines. And now that happens every time I turn on the computer after about 30 seconds. There's no operating system because before I can even get to the installer before the screen goes.
Sorry for the huge amount of info. I just don't have enough experience with Macs to know what's going on. My current issue resembles a video card problem, the issues before resemble a hard drive and DVD drive issue. Replacing the hard drive fixed it temporarily. Could a problem with the logic board cause all of these issues?
Thanks for any help with this.

    A few things to note...
If you had contacted Apple about each of the issues that you reported here, they would  have kept a log of the problems that would help them determine whether to continue support after the warranty expires.
You might consider asking about "Flat Rate Repair Pricing." See the discussion thread here and note that some users report that the flat rate repair pricing is only available in the U.S. and Japan.

(typically they just ship your computer to Singapore instead of working on it "in-house" from what I read).
Actually, I had great  experiences with two different macs sent to the repair depot. One computer had narcolepsy on day one. Apple sent me a box, I packed up the PB and dropped it off at UPS. Apple fixed and returned to my house two days later. The second MBP had a known video card problem. I took it to an Apple Store Genius who ran a specifc test and deduct that it was the known defective video card. The store was out of parts and ordering would take a week. Knowing my past experience with the Repair Depot, I ask for that option. The genius took my MBP and shipped it to the depot that night. Three days later, I received the fixed MBP and on the work order, their tests showed failed fans that they also replaced. Three or four weeks later, the Apple Store called to tell me they got the video card in stock.
Gather up your grit, perseverance, and persistence before contacting Apple. Try bypassing phone support by contacting them via their online support system with the link I provided in the previous post. (I remember using the online support system and was able to choose to have them call me. At the time, I had AppleCare so i'm not certain with out-of-warranty.) Another option is to seek an authorized Apple service provider.
    Good Luck!

  • Dear Adobe:  We need more "Data Centric" examples and videos

Many of my data centric questions are unanswered (for days now).  This tells me that no one in the community knows the answers, which is probably because FlashBuilder 4 and using it against a ColdFusionBuilder 1 server are still so "new".  My customers are not impressed with bandwith sucking flashing, flipping, popping, spinning effects, with help hints. That's "kid stuff".  They only want and care about lightning fast response time, tons of data at their fingertips, and reliability.  They'll add their own images and suffer the bandwidth downside if they choose, but that's up to them.  The things I need to know how to do are very very simple:
    1) Fetch data, into a grid or form (nailed, thanks for the video and examples)
    2) Commit data  changed in the form or grid back to the DB (Not answered)
    3) Create a new record from within the form or grid  (Huh? No video or examples)
    4) Create new form popup windows based on a record selected in a grid (Got it, working good)
    5) Refresh a row in a grid without mucking around with the user's selected row or indexed column (How? Unknown)
    6) Delete a record in a form or a grid and commit the delete to the back end (Again, unknown)
Basically I need to know CRUD.  Create, Retrieve, Update, Delete
I'm really struggling with getting the answers to these simple questions. The helps are GREATLY DETAILED but the other side of that same coin is that they give me information overload explaining all the things that CAN be done, when I just need to know the CRUD basics.  Please make some more videos showing CRUD.  FlashBuilder and ColdFusionBuilder are going to be serious candidates for massive data handling only if we can get developers onto this product quickly.
Massive Data Handling = 200 Tables, 200 fields in each table, 200 indexes, 500 constraints, one third of a billion records total in all tables, and I want to find a specific 4 records, in no more than 4 mouse clicks, and response time of 2 seconds or less.
Unless I'm being unreasonable, and Adobe products are not the way I should go to achieve these goals.

    Hi Mayank,
These instructions look fantastic.  They cover the stuff I need to know how to do.   I appreciate your efforts VERY MUCH and am following along dilegently.  I'm trying to transpose your very good and detailed instructions into my own project.   I'm stuck on the following line:
    In your example:
    productService.serviceControl.autoCommit = false;
I'm transposing it to my project, which should read:
    baa_data_svc.serviceControl.autoCommit = false;
    Because I have a <Declarations> tag of:
        <fx:Declarations>
            <valueObjects:BAA_SBJ id="bAA_SBJ"/>
            <s:CallResponder id="getSBJsResult"/>
            <baa_data_svc:Baa_data_svc
                id="baa_data_svc"
                fault="Alert.show(event.fault.faultString + '\n' + event.fault.faultDetail)"
                showBusyCursor="true"/>
        </fx:Declarations>
When I try to run the project, I get the following error:
Error: Cannot assign operations into an RPC Service (autoCommit)
I have tried including and excluding the import:
    import mx.rpc.events.ResultEvent;
    but it makes no difference.
What am I doing wrong?  I need the autoCommit to be shut off, just like in your example.
Thanks for your kind help in this matter.

  • Timeout with error when starting playback of movie?

It appears that my Apple TV (2nd gen - w/uptodate software) often has trouble starting the playback of locally hosted movies.
Once a movie has begun to be played back, there is never a problem with the continuation of playback or any other playback issue.
The unit is hardwired via Ethernet to my router with my main system that is hosting iTunes.
    The computer is running Mac OS X - LION - 10.7.4 - with iTunes 10.6.1 (64-bit version)
From what I can tell, it's primarily 'long movies' that exhibit this problem.
My recollection is that, short movies (less than 30 minutes) do not exhibit this behavior.
Here's a description of the typical behavior:
    1) Locate the movie via the Apple TV listings
    2) Observe the poster frame for the movie in the Apple TV
    3) Select the title and click on the PLAY button of the Apple TV remote
    4) Observe the spinning ACTIVITY graphic in the center of the screen run for about 10 seconds
    5) Observe the error message, "An error has occurred... please try again later"
    6) Click on the MENU button to return to the original selection
    7) Repeat steps 3-thru-6 one or more times
    8) Observe how, after several tries, the movie MAY or MAY NOT begin playback.
Sometimes it is possible to get the movie to start playing is when there is a choice of "RESUME PLAYBACK or START FROM BEGINNING" and the START FROM BEGINNING selection is chosen.
All my movies are on physically located on one drive in my system - this problem can occur immediately after playing a movie - which would cause one to assume   the disk drive had not been spun down due to inactivity. Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Any suggestions or clues as to how to eliminate this problem?

    Hi Ingo.
We have only one application server.
I registered the new version of the file C:\windows\SysWOW64\librfc32.dll with regsvr32.exe successfully. I've also tried to copy the new file to the same directory as the mdxsvr.exe-file is located, but it made no difference.
Should I remove all other copies of librfc32.dll and only keep the one in folder C:\Windows\SysWOW64, or maybe register them all with regsvr32.exe?

  • KDE 3.4 with ndiswrapper

When I installed KDE 3.4 in March, it seemed to acquire a lot of problems related to ndiswrapper that 3.3 didn't have.  Many internet applications freeze, and a few multimedia apps freeze too.  The applications that freeze most often are gaim, amaroK, and firefox (only when you try to access the save or open dialogs, or open a page with a Java applet).  Also, using Konqueror to look at anything on the local disk makes Konqueror freeze, but you can use it fine as an Internet browser, with the same constraints as firefox.  Does anybody else have these kinds of problems, or know how to fix them?

Ok, first the version of ndiswrapper.  I'm using version 1.1, with a Ralink Rt2500 built-in card.  As I said, it worked fine with KDE 3.3, using the same version of ndiswrapper.
I will try removing the ~/.mozilla directory to see if that helps.  As far as the Java applet issue goes, I do know that it can take applets a while to load, but the little spinning dots graphic in the upper right corner of firefox stops, and the browser stops responding.  I've let it sit for as much as 10 minutes, with no result.
Gaim freezes in one of two cases: either after it's been running for about 2 or 3 minutes, or if you switch desktops for a few seconds, whichever comes first.  Amarok freezes only once you enably a network connection and then try to use it.  If it's already open before the network is brought up, then it stops responding once you go back to it, although it will open fine.  If the network is up first, then it will take about 3 minutes for it to open, and it will immediately freeze once it does finally open.
I've narrowed the issue down to a network problem, but I haven't really tested to see if it happens when I use ethernet instead.  However, my system functions completely normally until I bring up the network.

  • Feels like I am using a beta version of PE 10

I am using PE10 since about one year but I am not completely satisfied with the software. There are so many bugs in it...
    -     When starting PE10 on my Dual Core 3.0 GHz PE10 will stay at a 100% CPU usage, even when there is no project loaded. I know it´s the minimum but 100% load for only an emty application...? So I had to change to another computer.
    -     Lots of graphical issues:
         -     disappearing key frame buttons (known issue)
         -     When adjusting the audio level on the timeline the level indicator disappears and jumps back to it´s original position
         -     When extending a clip the clip "flips" on the timeline
         -     Graphical artifacts on the point where the time indicator had been.
    -     Saved text styles have different properties when reopening the project.
    -     Airbrush effect: when you set the effect to 0% the footage is still "airbrushed" (like you have set it to 10%)
    -     When switching from another program back to PE it takes 8 seconds before the turning icon changes into an arrow so I can go on working
    -     When using the crop effect first and after that the Edge Feather effect the Edge Feather starts at the original edges instead of the cropped footage. Changing order does not help.
    -     Turning audio buttons with the mouse is almost impossible
    -     Inserting clips when the time indicator is not on the current visible part of your project the project will be messed up.
    -     You cannot type a long text for a crawling title in the text box. The text won´t shift so you are typing off screen. You have to copy/past it from a text file.
    -     Some more annoying bugs...
I hoped Adobe would release an update to fix these problems, but they don´t...
Does someone feel the same way about this version of PE?

I already updated my video driver and that did not work...
    Here are some examples:
    Missing buttons
The key frame buttons for track 2 are missing:
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k32/dbeuken/Premiere%20Elements/missing_keyframe_buttons _zps8cb2a063.jpg
    The airbrush effect problem:
Here you can see the footage is sharp and natural. The airbrush effect is turned off:
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k32/dbeuken/Premiere%20Elements/Airbrush-disabled_zps192 a470a.jpg
Here you can see the footage which is fuzzy now. The airbrush effect is turned on but set to 0.00
It should look the same as when the effect is turned off.
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k32/dbeuken/Premiere%20Elements/Airbrush-enabled_zps70fc cc24.jpg
Because of this problem I cannot let the footage get more and more airbrushed from zero.
    Edge feather problem:
Footage without cropping (= "wegsnijden" in Dutch) and full edge feather (="randdoezelaar" in Dutch):
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k32/dbeuken/Premiere%20Elements/Edgefeather_zpsaa9334ca. jpg
Footage which is cropped first and then "edge feathered":
    http://i84.photobucket.com/albums/k32/dbeuken/Premiere%20Elements/Edgefeather-cropped_zps3 f9d0697.jpg
Edge feathering is not applied on the cropped footage. It´s feathering the cropped parts.
When I click on the monitor windows once and move the edge feather slider to the left and to the right the cropped image becomes "feathered" but after some second the effect disappears again.
I tried this on a new i7 6 GB machine and it has the same problems.

  • 2011 MBP won't re-install Lion

Hi - I've tried following the helpful instructions I received here:
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/18816289?ac_cid=op123456#18816289
I was able to erase my drive, but when I attempt to re-install OS X Lion, I get a dialog box with a spinning wheel and message which says:
    "Loading installation information..."
There are buttons for "cancel" and "continue" but both are greyed out and not selectable.  My laptop hangs up at this step appears frozen except for the spinning wheel graphic.
I'm connected to the internet wirelessly and the connection shows as being active.
    Please advise.

It sounds to me like a hardware problem, perhaps in firmware that is used by MacOS but not by Windows. If you had been able to boot the installer disc, I would have suggested running the hardware test that you can find in its menus before you start installing.
You might try zapping the PRAM, and perhaps removing and re-inserting your RAM. There are instructions for both these operations on the Apple support web site. But I would not be surprised if you are forced to bring your MBP in to a service depot.

  • Shuts down while starting up (wicked curveball)

My first generation iMac G5 has run flawlessly (aside from the dentist drill-like fan) until now. When I press the power button, the display turns on and displays the gray apple logo with the spinning startup graphic. Before it can move onto the next screen with the progress bar, the power suddenly cuts off.
Any ideas on what the issue is? What should I do?
    Much obliged my brothers.

After following this document to reset my SMU (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300908) my iMac still cuts power 1/2 way through the startup. That article suggests it must be a power supply issue. I started up in Safe Mode, which is quicker, and I saw all of my icons for a few seconds before the power cut off again -- so that is a good sign.
AND, turns out my power supply is covered through this:
    http://www.apple.com/support/imac/repairextensionprogram/
so I'm going to take my iMac into an Apple Store and have them replace the power supply for free (hopefully)
    Thanks for your help.

  • Mac won't startup past the startup screen

    Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a new Seagate internal hard-drive, replaced the existing Seagate hard-drive in the second SATA slot, partitioned it and successfully uploaded several files to the drive. I'm not sure if this is relevant to the problem, but the following happened the next day:
My Power Mac G5 has been known to freeze when it goes to sleep. Usually, when this happens, I just have to perform a hard restart and everything boots like normal. This morning, encountering the same problem, I tried restarting it with the power button, but the startup process gets stuck on the startup screen with the Apple logo and the spinning loading graphic. Sometimes, the Apple logo turns into a distorted square graphic and still will not load into OS X. I removed the new hard drive, unplugged all of the USB devices besides the keyboard, pressed the PMU button on the logic board (suggested by someone on these boards), but the problem persists.
    Any ideas?

It's not getting far enough along to get info from your keyboard. I've had this problem myself but I can't remember how I corrected it, or even if I did. On my third G5 myself you see...
Anyway, try giving this a go. With your Mac shut down, start it up and keep your finger depressing the power button until you hear a tone and then release. That may get you through, or your next start up may work. If that doesn't work I don't know. Perhaps taking out and reseating your RAM and/or taking out and reseating your video card. In sounds like your Mac is in limboland as it can't find a system to start from. Are your fans going at full blast after a little while?
Here's the document my advice refers to. It's not all that explicit so I condensed it:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2322
Ah, one more thing before you try that... Shut down the Mac, pull the plug from the wall, pull the plug from the mac. Wait 4-5 minutes. Then plug everything back in again. Believe it or not that sometimes works. Resets NVRAM, I believe. Good luck!

  • Mac Pro Not Reading Toshiba External HDD

I have a *Toshiba USB 2.0 Portable External Hard Drive (200 GB)*, and I've been using it just fine on my PC with Windows XP for months now.
I tried plugging it in today into my newly purchased Mac Pro, and it appeared just fine on my desktop, but when I double-clicked it to view the contents, my data and such was all there, but I couldn't access anything. If I opened up a folder to see it's contents, all I got was a blank folder with a spinning "Busy" graphic at the bottom right hand of the corner. No individual files would appear at all ever.
I would try disconnecting, re-plugging it in, and then at sometimes it wouldn't even register on the desktop. I had to try various USB ports on the Mac Pro to hope and try to get it to re-appear again.
One time I was actually able to view all the contents on my harddrive. I tried to access an MP3 on there, it loaded up iTunes, but iTunes locked up on me, and I couldn't close out of it nor eject my hard drive.
When I "Get Info" on my external hard drive icon on the desktop, the format is MS-DOS(FAT32).
I am running Mac OS X version 10.5.2.
Any ideas of what the problem is? I am absolutely stumped and upset.

I am having the same problem with my macbookpro. However, I am not even getting a desktop icon--i.e. its not even mounting. It doesnt show on the disk utilities, nothing. I have power, according to the led on the drive. The usb portworks on my iphone, and with myprinter. What gives?
    Andrej, any thoughts?
To the originator of this thread, have you gone to your disk utilities and formatted it?

  • Creating a circle with 100 equal spaced, equal sized wedges within it.

    Welcome to the forum
As mentioned above you can try using the "polar" grid tool: width/height = desired, concentric dividers = 0, radial dividers = 100
Another approach would be the following:
1.) Draw your circle at the desired size
2.) With the line segment tool draw from the center of your circle out past the top edge
3.) Select the newly drawn line only
    4.) Effect (menu) > Transform, Copies = 100, registration point = bottom, rotation = 3.6 (360/100)
5.) Expand appearance on the line that has the Transform Effect applied to it
6.) With all the lines and circle selected: Pathfinder > Divide
    7.) Ungroup
8.) Do whatever you want now with the 100 individual wedges
Hope something proves useful to your efforts, again welcome to the forum.
