Floating, unlinked org unit in CRM

Hi All
CRM4.0
In ERP I have an org unit that is linked to a higher level org unit. In CRM the same org unit exists but it does not have higher level org unit. I want to run PFAL in ERP with the correct evaluation path so that in CRM the org unit is positioned correctly. Is this possible?
Should I use something else?

PFAL was in fact creatig the idocs to send to CRM. The problem we had was that the distribution model was incorrect and missing the 'relationship' infotype hence the reason org units ended up 'floating' and isolated.

How to pass R/3 Sales org unit to CRM Sales order ?

Hi,
We are creating CRM sales order using FM ' CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE'.
 We want to pass Sales Org. unit as '1101' ,but not getting updated in CRMD_ORDER tcode after SO gets created suxusfully.But Distribution Channel and Division are getting updated.
 But we are able to get the same if we give Sales Org. unit value as 'O 50000026',
and not by giving '1101'.
 Also we need this R/3 Sales Org. unit value dynamically using SELECT statement also.
 Pls let me know if anybody is aware of a solution for this..

If we pass R/3
wa_orgman-sales_org = '1101'
wa_orgman-sales_office = '1101',
wa_orgman-sales_group = '105' ,
wa_orgman-dis_channel = '01'.
wa_orgman-division = '11'.
in the function module , sales order is getting created with errors saying Organizational Unit does not exist.
But If we give ,
wa_orgman-sales_org = 'O 50000026'.
wa_orgman-sales_office = 'O 50000075'.
wa_orgman-sales_group = 'O 50000080'.
wa_orgman-dis_channel = '01'.
wa_orgman-division = '11'.
we could able to create order without errors.
For R/3 sales org ,the corresponding CRM sales unit is 'O 50000026'.
We want to pass R/3 sales org values instead of CRM sales values.
And this R/3 sales org values have to be selected dynamically from a table.
Pls help us to solve this issue.

CRM employee (business partner) & org unit extraction question

Hi all,
I have a question regarding extracting business partner and org unit in CRM. Basically user wants to report on employee level and org unit level.
When I looked at the org unit hierarchy datasource (0BBP_ORGUNIT_HR01_HIER), it does not include the employee. I also tried the DS 0BP_UNAME_ORGUNIT_ATTR, but that does not give me the org unit of an employee.
Any hint is highly appreciated.

Try this DS 0CRM_POSITION_ATTR,here u will get the org.unit,but u need to add the users (employees) in the data source.

Changing The Validity Dates In Org Model in CRM- User Level

Hi
How can we restrict the Validity Dates in Organisation Structure at User Level.
I need that the user should be given some specific dates ( Valid till or assigned till ) while assigning in the org. And it should be visible always in the Org Model.
We tried using Delimited Date Function, but the User gets ellapsed if the Validity is expired.With the business point of view, the requirement is that all user should be listed in Org model with respect to any dates.this would mean that if a user is terminated we would want to change the Valid till date in the Org

Business partner number and Object ID is automatically determines by system when creating a org unit.
I dont find any configuration to create org unit with your own BP number and object ID. You have option to make repairs to the existing org unit.
Please find the below path to repair the org unit
IMG -> CRM -> Master Data -> Business partner -> Integration Business partner -Org management -> Create Business partner initially
Select the org unit and execute to get all the org units.
You can select the org units with errors /warnings and click on start repair to get automatic assignment of BP.

Infotype 5510 to Org. Unit in CRM

Anyone have idea , when you create Organization Structure in CRM (Standalone), how infotype gets assigned to Org Unit.

Org Unit replication ECC to CRM

Hi Experts,
Here is the issue:
A Sales order is created in ECC and replicated to CRM. Based on this SO, we need to create returns in CRM. Now the SO is replicated to CRM with errors. So in CRM, error says: Org Unit is not determined.
Sales Org, Dist.Ch and Div is replicated but Org Unit is not replicated as there is no Org Unit concept in ECC.
Now how do I get out of this error in CRM Sales Order doc?
Checked in Org Management in CRM. There is no Org Unit existing for that Sales Org which is determined. So how do I make CRM SO error free. Any thoughts from experts would greatly be appreciated.

An organzation unit is simply what it means, which is logical representation of some business entity or department. In CRM an organization unit can refer to a sales or service organization and has an attribute assigned to it, that designates what it represents.
We typically call a organization unit that has the following attributes maintained a sales area:
Sales Org
Distribution Channel
Division
The function tab of the organizational unit is where I assign the corresponding R/3 sales area. We then use the attributes tab in scenario sales to assign the remaining data. This data usually is the allow division and distribution channels, along with the corresponding "tupels". The tupel is the combination of the distribution channel and division.
You also need to mark the the object as permitted in determination, in order for it to be used in transactional processing.

Link existing BP to Org unit...... Please help

Hi All,
We have a situation where we have transferred an org structure from oru R/3 system to our CRM 5.0 system.
Org integration is set up correct and most of the Org units have been linked to a BP (all have had a BP set up in the Org Unit role, but some not linked).
How do we link the existing Org Unit BP to the Org unit in the org structure (ppoma_crm).
I have ran CRM_COM_ORGMAN_BUPA_INTEGRATE and tried to get it to repair but it just reports that the BP alrteady exists and doesn't actually link them together....
I have also tried adding a relationship of type B207 to the unit through PP01 but it will not accept this type of relationship cannot be maintained through a basic transaction...
Please help as we have had a number of issues in the production system with the org load that we never had in either dev or QA and now approaching go-live... so downloading the org structure again isn't really an option (and may still have unlinked orgs)..

go inside the PPOMA_CRM and there in functions tab select sales and there in attributes tab try using different attributes to link the BP to the org
also refresh your buffer using
hrbc1_attributes_buffer_update
if that doesn work
then use t code
crmd_index_om
and give object type as o
it will solve your purpose

I am unable to create a service order with serivce material ( Only installation visit charges ) for w/o warranty product .
I am getting error : " Sales Org.Unit does not have these attributes "
I had checked the related Org data of respective sales org , already the sales area combination is also maintained from R/3 with required attributes "
Pls revert with possible solution .

Basically it is a product Service Material (Servicing Charges), where in I had checked in the transaction , Though the required sales area is well maintained in the R/3 System and is being replicated to the CRM .
When I checked the product Service material , the required comination is missing and could find other sales area combinations .
Pls guide , how to go to get this resolved .

Automatic creation of an account for org unit

System automatically creates an account for organisational unit with the role organisational unit. But when i am creating a new organization model, the org units are not created as accounts.

Hi Lakshith Rao,
For some reason BP number must not have got generated for your Org. Could be because of some errors.
Go to SPRO-> CRM-> Master Data-> Business Parnter-> Integration Business Partner - Organization Management-> Create Business PArtner Initially.
Select Org. Unit and search and select your org. unit. Click on execute.
If there are no errors in your org. unit then BP number will get generated or else it will mention what data is missing.

We are setting up printing on our CRM 5.0 system (Web interaction centre) and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to find out what Org unit the users is logged on as ??
We are using Actions to print specific smartforms off for the users and need the prints to go to an assigned printer.. We are hoping to use a printer that is assigned to the 'Default Printer' attribute in the org structure (PPOMA_BBP)
As you will be aware users can be in many positions (under the org units) in the org structure and when we log onto the Web IC we get the option of which one we would like to use... Is there a function that can read this Org unit so we can use it in the printer determination BADI to decide what printer the prints will go to ???

As soon as you make the profile selection,IC sets the profile and org unit in the session.
You can read them using
Data: lv_prof     type ref to if_ic_profile,
                pname       type        string,
                orgunit     type        crmt_ic_org_unit.
lv_prof = cl_ic_profile_service=>get_instance( ).
pname = lv_prof->get_profile( ).
org_unit = cl_crm_ic_services=>get_org_unit( ).

ERP sales org and HR org unit

hi,
in our implementation we plan to use ERP sales org for all sales documents in CRM hence we plan to map org structures between CRM and ERP.
we also have a need to leverage Employee maintenance done in HR. hence we plan to download employees from HR into CRM.
can you please help guide on how we can achieve both the above scenarios?..can we maintain HR org and ERP org in CRM?

What I undestand is u want to map the ERP sales area i.e. the Logistic Org Structure into CRM as well as u want the HR Integration with employees coming from HR.
a. ERP Sales Area or Logistic Org structure
    This implies mapping of the Sales Organization with CRM.
    This can be downloaded using the transaction    CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE. This will result in creation of organization unit in CRM represting the ECC sales area.
b. HR employees
   This will requre HR integration to be activated, here the employees will flow from HR to CRM via ALE and will be maintained as business partners with the role Employees.

Change in Responsible Org Unit does not update Project Correctly

Hi Gurus
I set-up a Project in cProjects and Released/Transferred.
The Project was visible in SAP PS, etc.
Then I went back into cProjects and modified the Responsible Org Unit to another of our Org Units which has a differing Profit Center.
When I view this Project in CJ20N. The Project Definition still carries the Original Profit Center, not the new one.
However when I view all of the WBS Elements these all have the new Profit Center.
Does anyone know how I can get the Project Definition to also update correctly?

Re-Synch of ERP HR Org Model with CRM

Hi All
We replicate HR Organisation Model changes from ERP HR to CRM. However, some time ago the HR distributional model was amended so that relationship data (infotype 1001) was not included in any of the group filters (BD64).
As a result we now have Org Units, Positions and Person objects that have transferred to CRM that are isolated and not linked to other objects. I need to re-synch the CRM org model. I know which filter settings I need to add for for new org model changes but how do I fix the existing org model objects that don't have the correct relationships?
