Flowing Field Problem on 2nd page

Hi,
I have created a form that contains both positioned and flowed fields. I have also set controllers to add and remove instances.  The particular problem I have is with a field that I have set to flowed and when it flows over to the second page the field shifts to the far left (in my original placement it is to the right side of the form).  Can anyone tell me how to keep this field placement in the same area on the second page??

Absolutely.  I have attached it.
I typed in some jibberish into the Actions & Statmenets/Questions fields so
you can see what happens when the text flows onto page 2.  What I would
really like to happen is to have the text in the Actions &
Statements/Questions field to fall in the same location on page 2 as it is
on page 1.....as you can see, it shifts to the left as it flows onto page 2.
Any help you can give would be so greatly appreciated.  Lori

    if ( Page_1.Text_Field_A_2.rawValue == "Value_ABCD" )

  • Dynamic Header row for table not aligned properly on 2nd Page

    Hello Friends,
    The problem is like this :
    We have a table with dynamic number of columns and few of them are being hidden at runtime based on a configuration table.
    Now problem while printing is that first page is printing the header row, but same is not being repeated on subsequent pages.
    Please see the layout
    Header row is warped in 2 subforms both are flowed - western text so that they will get squeezed if column is hidden
    Here are the properties for subforms
    1) overflowLeader => Flow top-bottom
    2) OF_SF => Flowed , western text
    On 2nd page all the columns are getting aligned to left hand side whereas printing fine on first page.
    Thanks,
    Nitin

    Hi Nitin,
    in this case, you must use more nested wrapper subforms and set the root subform layout from "flow" to "positioned". I cannot give advice on how the wrapper subforms are organized, since it depends on your logic, just try it out.
    Cheers,

  • Mask password field while rendering the page

    Dear All,
    I have made a application wherein I have 2 pages. The 1st page is a tabular diaplay of the data and the 2nd page(which is called from the 1st page after clicking on the link) is for adding/modifying the data. This is based on my user master table which has a "Password" field in it and it is not null field at the database level. I am not showing this password field on the 1st page(report). I am showing this field on the 2nd page while entering/modifying the data. I have set its display type as "Password" so that while adding the data, it is displayed as dot. But when I am trying to edit the same data, it is not showing me the data in the password field. So I am not able to save any changes to the existing data. If I change the display type to some other option then it works fine.
    Please suggest some solution.
    (We are using application express version 3.0.0.00.20)
    Minakshi

    Minakshi,
    We don't retrieve password form items from session state when rendering them. So you should be able to type a new value in and save the form. If you mean that you cannot save the form without entering a value for the password, then that is an expected effect of this same practice. You'll need to allow for a null value using an after-submit computation (which populates the item by selecting from the existing row) or handle it in a trigger on the table.

  • ITS Problem of navigating to 2nd page

    Hi All,
    Hi Experts,
    I am trying to access ITS standard service mobile00 & mobile01 and found that it is not foinf to the next navigation point. non of the button is heading to the next page. If it is a standard service it should work.
    The transaction for which this service is, it is working fine in SAP system.
    I also tried to create a custom service in SE80 & defined it in SICF with CL_HTTP_EXT_ITS header list, GUI Link 'Y' and 3 parameters ~mobile = 1, ~transaction = LM01 and ~theme = 99.
    When i open it in internet explorer, it only opens1/4th of the page and i dotn get anything to proceed further. When i open it in Mozilla firefox, it opens the page with a bad alignment but i can navigate to the 2nd page.
    Can anyone please help me.
    Regards,
    Nik

    Hello Nikhil,
    Did you publish the itsmobile00 and itsmobile01 services to the internal ITS from SE80?  Please have a look at the ITS Mobile wiki for information on creating your ITS mobile services and templates.  https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/display/home/itsmobile

  • Master Page readOnly or protected fields still open on page 2 of PDF

    I have a flowable form that I have added some textfields to the Master Page in order to have them on every page.
    I have set the fields to global binding so the form filler can access them from any page.  This works fine, the fields populate and the changes to the fields appear on every page.
    The problem: I need to lock these fields after submit.
    I have added the JavaScript found in the reference material to my submit button that finds and sets the access to all of the body page fields to "readOnly".  No problem with this script.
    I am not an experienced JavaScript author, so to lock the fields on the master page, I set each field individually to "readOnly".
    This works great on page 1 of the final PDF, the fields are locked.
    On page 2, however, the fields are still accessible.  In fact, changing the values in the page 2 fields also change the values in the page 1 locked fields.
    I have tried using the relative SOM as well as the absolute SOM for changing the property but no change in results.
    I have also tried changing the property from "readOnly" to "protected" with no change in the results.
    Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thanks Paul,
    I wish it was that easy.
    I only have one Master Page for this form.
    The idea is the content could expand and force the form to flow to that second page, or in this case, I've added enough form fields to cause the form to flow to the next page.
    I am including a sample form.  The text field at the top of the form is on the master page.  After hitting the submit button on the bottom of page 2, this form field will be readOnly, at least on page one.  If you look at the same field on the top of page two of the PDF, it will be open.

  • Smart form problem with multiple pages & table problem

    Hi experts,
    I have a problem with my smart form with multiple pages
    Situation: I have a smart form that ALWAYS has at least 2 pages. In one page the quotation, in the second page (basically this is the 3rd page as the 2nd page is optional) the terms and conditions. Sometimes however, when there are many items in the quotation more than 1 page is needed for the quotation.
    The (optional) second page of a quotation has a different header than the first page of a quotation. So I made a second page with 2 secondary windows (where the header texts are in). The main window is after the secondary windows and has to finish the quotation.
    The problem is that my headers of the second page are never printed, it stays a blank space. The table however does continue and is printed.
    Another problem I have is that I have a table (with the quotations) with 6 columns. The first 2 columns are displayed correctly but once the 3rd column the columns are shown on a lign below.
    Regards,
    PJ

    I would suggest another approach to this problem.
    Use just one page. For the headers on the first page, use a secondary window and on the conditions tab, choose the additional event - Only on First Page.
    For the different header on the second page, create another secondary window on the same page (probably even overlapping the first header on your layout). But in this one, on the conditions tab, choose the additional event - Not on First Page.
    The table should flow as you would be using the Main window for this one.
    As for columns, if they are too wide and wont fit in the same line, it would move to the next line. So you would have to re-adjust the line width and test.
    Hope this resolves your problem.
    Regards,
    Ancy

  • How do I get the text to flow throughout more then one page.

    Hello,
    I am currently using LiveCycke Designer to create a scholarship for my company. I created fields for the form and I would like to insert a text to describe the scholarship. When I insert the text, it doesn't flow onto the next page. I've tried creating a subform and clicking "flowed" and "allow page breaks within content". I also clicked auto-fit for the height, but it just makes a line. For the text box, I've clicked "Expand to fit on the height". It is also a dynamic XML Form. Is there anything else I should be doing?
    I could always send the file to someone to see if they can figure it out.
    Thank you,
    Natalie

    Thank you so much !
    but the link doesn't seem to work. It says that the URL is not in the correct format for an Acrobat.com document link.

    Here is the corrected form..Even you you set the Subform type to "Flowed" to the subform where the Text box resides, you did not set the Page1 to Flowed (which is the key)..But when I make the Page1 type to "Flowed", all your fields above the Scholrship text boxes' Subform will go one below another.. To fix this, first I have select all the fields and wrap them into a subform and then set the Page1 to Flowed..

    As mebtioned, the next page and the zoom is not working in my report, whiwh has as data source "Stored Procedure"
    This is my code, and i think it's correct, i was using this code in previous versions of crystal report (cr10) and it worked fine,
    When i used the Data set , the next page and zoom worked fine, but with stored procedure it doesn't work,
    Note: when i open the Tree of Data on the left, then click on the next page or the zoom, it become funtional, it's very weird,
    protected void *Page_Init*(object sender, EventArgs e)
    if (!IsPostBack)
    reportDocument = (ReportDocument)this.Page.Session ["_reportDocument"];
    if (reportDocument != null)

    @Don:
    Sorry, but i donno what do you mean by "what is the App Pool running in 32 or 64 bit?",
    i am running the application locally, ( the IIS is installed locally ),
    as i told you, my OS is 64bit,
    And yes i tried a very simple report, with just one field , and the "next button" is also not working,
    Its only not working with stored procedure, in the others methods ( push or pull method is working fine)
    i think its a problem in refreshing page, because when i open the tree on the left, then click on next page or zoom, its works fine
    @Ludek:
    i changed my code as below, and it doesn't solve my problem:
            ReportDocument reportDocument;
            protected void Page_Init(object sender, EventArgs e)
                if (!IsPostBack)
                    reportDocument = (ReportDocument)this.Page.Session["_reportDocument"];
                    if (reportDocument != null)
                        string rptFile = reportDocument.FileName.Split('
    ', '/').Last();
                            TableLogOnInfo log = new TableLogOnInfo();
                            ConnectionStringSettings conn = WebConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings[0];
                            SqlConnectionStringBuilder SConn = new SqlConnectionStringBuilder(conn.ConnectionString);
                            log.ConnectionInfo.ServerName = SConn.DataSource;
                            log.ConnectionInfo.DatabaseName = SConn.InitialCatalog;
                            log.ConnectionInfo.UserID = SConn.UserID;
                            log.ConnectionInfo.Password = SConn.Password;
                            log.ConnectionInfo.Type = ConnectionInfoType.SQL;
                            for (int i = 0; i < reportDocument.Database.Tables.Count; i++)
                                reportDocument.Database.Tables<i>.ApplyLogOnInfo(log);
                        this.Page.Session["_reportDocument"] = reportDocument;
                        CrystalReportViewer1.ParameterFieldInfo = (ParameterFields)this.Page.Session["_paramFields"];
                        CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = reportDocument;
                        CrystalReportViewer1.ShowFirstPage();
                else
                    CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = this.Page.Session["_reportDocument"];

    Thank you for your reply.
    Do you mean region in notification page?
    Below is region in notification page.
    Field From is in Region: /oracle/apps/fnd/wf/worklist/webui/NtfDetailsAttr.leftTable
    Document Name /oracle/apps/fnd/wf/worklist/webui/NtfDetailsAttr
    Message is in Region: Notification Details Function

  • How do I populate my date fields placed on Master Page for multiple pages?

    I have a dynamic form with flowing fields. I inserted date fields using the Master Pages tab within Adobe LiveCycle Designer ES2, Windows 7 OS. I have only 1 Master Page. Everything on the form is working properly, except when I have multiple pages, the date fields are blank on all but the first page. One of the date fields has javascript in the exit event to calculate the second date field. I can manually edit the subsequent page(s) date fields, but I don't want the end user to have to do that. I want the date fields on the new pages to equal the date fields on the first pages. Below is my output with notes to provide a visualization of what I'm looking for.
    Many thanks in advance for anyone who can help me with this issue!
    Caroline

    Hey Mandy,
    Yes, both date fields are on the Master Page. The first one is set to "User entered - Required" and the second to "Calculated - User Can Override"
    And that's right, I used your script to calculate the second date field. The only thing I changed was the field name, and used 6 days instead since I wanted the calendar days to only run a full week, like start on a Monday and end on Sunday.
    Thx,
    C

    Hi,
    For the header details not to print on the second page:
