Font Info in External CSS Files aren't being recognized or utilized

I'm a front-end web developer. After I upgraded to the new Firefox, I checked two of my websites that I built.
The font information in my CSS external files aren't being recognized so the fonts are coming in at the wrong sizes (that is...really LARGE). (However, it is recognizing placement of absolute positioned images.)

Sounds like you did not properly define your site. Start

I am new to SAP Design Studio. I am working on creating dashboards and I am using Design Studio 1.2 version. Please suggest some solutions for the following issues. Thanks in Advance.
1. External CSS file which is embeded using custom CSS option under "application component properties" is not working.
* I kept the external CSS file inside repository-> my application folder.
2. During runtime, getting javascript error while selecting '-' option from filter panel.
3. Unable to select or type dimension name under "dimension filer component" properties.
4. Getting runtime error for dropdown list, and I have inserted the following code under "onStartup" option of Application component properties.
"DROPDOWN_1.setItems(DS_1.getMemberList("PRODUCTREF", MemberPresentation.INTERNAL_KEY, MemberDisplay.TEXT, 20));
and dimension values are not populated in auto suggest."

There should be an Error Log under View > Error Log that gives you more details of these errors. Could you add that? There is also a View > Script Problems log that provides more details as well.

External CSS file in HTML export options

When exporting to HTML from ID CS5.5, is the option for an external css file a link to a file or a url?

@ mmurphytech4pub, the External CSS allows you to choose a file from your computer. However, you can also mention an http:// URL if you're CSS file is hosted on a web server.

External CSS file?

Do I have to write a CSS rule for every symbol and element in a presentation or can I just specify a general rule for the whole thing?
For example, how can I specify that all images should have a red border, or all links should change color on hover?
Shouldn't I be able to create a separate CSS file as in Dreamweaver and just attach it?

Can i get you to elaborate on this statement? This sounds like something that will work for me.
I have a text box in my edge composition with a scroll overflow. I have added a class to that text box equivalent to that established in an external css file. In that css i have items to change the look of the scroll bar, text color, and background color.
I need a little guidance how to fit all these pieces together.

I want setting any contentStyle properties in an external css file.
Something like:

Hi Victor,
On the ADF web page (jspx) you have to include the css stylesheet
<link rel="stylesheet" href="./css/untitled1.css" type="text/css"/>
You can create a new CSS file from JDeveloper by right-clicking on the ViewController project, select "New..", once the "New Gallery" window is displayed go to Web tier -> HTML and you will have the "CSS File" option.
What you put inside your css looks good:
.classCss{
width: 60 px;
Note that the width property will affect the whole af:selectOneChoice component, including the label and the different choice values.

A few things to try:
1-Repair permissions and restart your computer.
2-Zap the PRAM
3-Use Software Update/App Store to update your OS to OS 10.10.3. Also, update everything SU/AS has to offer for your computer. When done, repair permissions and restart your computer.

How to add external css file from _edge.js file

I have tried to add in html page, but when I save edge project it removes it.
I am able to add external js file in scripts:[] in _edge.js file
What we can add inside resources:[] ?
And is there any way to add external css in edge files except in html page and through javascript?

I have a .json file that I need to be included in a template (and also included in projects created from that template).
The only way I found to do this is to add it as a script. The problem then is that all included "scripts" will be evaluated when the page is loaded, which will fail since it's a json file. External dependencies makes it impossible for me to change the format of the json file...

How to Live View with external CSS files?

I am using a simple HTML page that references several external CSS style sheets. The style sheets are site root relative. The code validates.

In Dreamweaver, the page looks good in Design View. Previewing in a browser looks good when the box to save temporary files is checked (replaces css inline for the input to the browser.)
However the page is missing the CSS and an image that is site root relative when I try to view it with Live View.
Does Live View only work with a test server? I tried setting up a test server that points to the remote server but that does not seem to help.
I am sure I am missing something. Can someone please help?

WTG Newbie: can't find external CSS file

Hello Forum... I've placed a css file in a directory (/res/basic.css) just off the root of my test webtogo application but the application doesn't pick it up when I use the syntax:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/res/basic.css" type="text/css"> in the html header.
I've tried some variations on the href url but still can't get it to work.
I presume I'm not understanding something pretty fundamental. Can anyone enlighten me? Btw, this usually works on another servlet container such as tomcat.

Case 2 is my situation.
I can't succeed in getting the olite server to serve the css file - even by manually typing the url:

and I had tried removing the root slash as you had suggested but still the same problem.

How to add an external CSS file in master page

Hi,
We're running a SharePoint 2013 (Office 365) team site. I'd like to use the same formatting in all my site pages. I currently use a script editor web part to apply the formatting changes which is cumbersome. How can I utilize a css file so
that all of the site pages use the same formatting?
The site that I want to apply the formatting to is a sub site of the main site. Only the main site has a "Styles Library" if this matters.

You can also consider activating publishing features and uploading the css files to the Styles library that is created. This allows you to override the oob CSS.

Linking external css file issue

I have linked my css file to the html in dreamweaver manual in the html page and by attaching the css file in dreamweaver but when I add new stle to my css file I dont know why it wont show the affect of the style I add to the HTML file while I have the split view in dreamweaver. please help

That's because you're creating a class. You don't need a class to style HTML selectors.
HTML selectors don't contain any prefixes.
h1 {color:teal}
h2 {color:brown}
h3 {color: maroon}
Classes contain a dot prefix and must be referenced in the HTML.

Problem with elements/text linking to styles in external css file

Hi,
the project I am working on is using a default.css and I would like to assign styles from the file to elements in edge - how can I do that?
I already tried the "class" setting in the GUI next an element but the elements do not use the styles defined in the default.css.
The default.css is linked in the html file properly. In the js file which edge creates I see that the value userClass: 'slideTitle' is assigned and slideTitle is defined in the default.css.

Use yepnope like this:

External CSS file not working in IE

My external style sheet works in every browser except IE. The
compatibilty check also tells me about the error with the external
css. Strangely, I only notice that it affects my headers.
