Font size in text fields

Is there a way to change the font size in a text box or text field on every webpage through one of the prefrences? I have looked on the forums here and searched Google, but could not find any answers.
MacBook   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

One other thought,
You can temporarily increase/decrease the font size on any page (also, affects all pages opened in a specific tab) by Apple Key plus the + sign for an increase, or the - sign for smaller text.
Same too can be accomplished by using the "text size" icon in the toolbar. If one is not there, go to the View Menu>Customize Address Bar, dragging the "text size" icon to the tool bar. Select "done" on the panel.

Hi everyone.  I've created a form but the problem is that people are changing the font size in order to fit mrore into the locked text fields.  I want to create either a chaacter limit or lock the font size as to prevent people from changing around the forms.
    Thanks for your help.

  • How to change the font size of Text Box  Properties Appearance tab into 2 decimal digit.

How to change the font size of Text Box  Properties Appearance tab into 2 decimal digit. I am uanble to modify it to 5.38 pt for example. Its only allowing to 1 decimal place.

Click on each field and the choose Properties from either File menu (or if on Mac hold dow mouse button until context menu appears choose properties)
    go to Font
choose desired size and type font, you can choose to make this the default.
    Do this with each field.
Or if you have a lot of fields:
while one is selected select all of them
then go to fonts in properties
change Font and size and make default.

  • Change Font Size in a Field

Hi - I am typing information into a Adobe document which was created by another user.  I would like to change the font size for the field so the complete entry can be viewed.  I have Adobe Acrobat Standard version 9 and my operating systems is Windows.
Thanks so much for your help with this

You have to go to the form edit mode. Check the properties (ctrl-D) to see if you are allowed to edit first.
If so, try the forms menu>edit fields. Right click on the field and select properties. The is often an auto mode that will let the font size adjust if you run out of room.
If you can not do the edit just suggested, then the form was likely created in Designer and you will have to select to edit the form with Designer to make the change.

check out the smart styles...create a font of ur size n use.
Define the paragraphs & character formats using SMARTSTYLES & use them in your smartform.
You have to give the smartstyle name in the Form attributes-->Output options for the formats to be used in your smartform.
You can define font size in Smartform Style.
    Smartform Styles > Charcterformat> Font --> size.
to load the font to SAP server chk this

  • How to change the font size of text element in smartform

    Hi
i want to know how to change the font size of text element in smartform
    regards
    Gincy

    Hi
You can create Smartstyles, in which you can define paragraph formats for texts and character formats for character level changes.
Paragraph format ---> alignment, font size etc
character format for ---> superscript, subscript.
After creating, in your smartform, there will be a option in the text element to enter a style.
You give the created style and you can use the paragraph and character formats i that style.
    Hope this is clear..

How to change the font size of Text box tool ?
I am using Acrobat PDF 6.0
Tools > Advanced Commenting > Text Box Tool
I need to know how to change the font size. The default font size is too big.
    let me know
    Thanks

I do not have AA6 available right now (I can check at home this evening). I am also using AA Pro, not Std. In AA7, there is a text box tool that is a commenting tool. When I started typing, a properties toolbar came up that had the font size and such. I haven't figured out how to get the toolbar after the fact. In AA8, I selected the text box tool and then went to view and selected the properties bar (the font size and all showed then), or use Ctrl-E when editing the text. I have not been able to figure out how to edit the text in a text box after you have created it - think it is a mental block right now. Bill

  • How Change Font or Font Size in Text Box???

    Adobe Acrobat 7
How do I Change the Font or Font Size in Text Box that I have inserted in a previously created .pdf file.
Could not find any info on this in Help file. Thanks for any help.

Use the text touchup tool, select the text, and right click to change the properties. If you mean a different type of text box, then look for the same type of changes, but use the same tool you used to create the text.

  • Embed Fonts in Dynamic Text Fields

Hey, I am relatively new around here although I've been a
member for years. I am just now starting to utilize my account. I
do have a question in regards to embedding fonts in Flash 8. I have
read up on this numerous places and haven't been able to find a
solution that works for me, whether this my user error or not is
    still TBD.
I am loading text from a XML document into Flash dynamic text
fields. I need to be using a handwritting font for these text
fields. After embedding the handwritten font they are not
displaying in my dynamic fields but are displaying in my static
text fields that am I also using on the site. I am controlling my
dynamic text fields w/ an external stylesheet. I believe I must do
something "additional" for these dynamic text fields but haven't
figured out what that is, any help anyone can offer is much
    appreciated! Thanks.

the question is a bit too general. There are many ways to
    approach it, from copies
of text fields with that font off stage, to embedded outlines
    and linkage in the library.
My guess is that somewhere on the way you did not fully
    complete the outline embed options.
Either done incorrectly or you miss some action.
Mind to post detail explanation how you embed the outlines?
Best if you post an example
    file for us to check.

  • When creating a fillable form fields from an existing pdf file, how do you set or allow end user to set the font size in the fields?

I successfully created a form filled pdf using an existing pdf document.  However, the font size is too large to allow end user to type in information in the form box.  Is there a way to 1)globally set all  of the form fields when generated to a much smaller font size &/or 2) allow end user to change the font size if needed to put all information in one box without font being so large?

    Hi DenisonDoc,
There is no option right now to set properties globally primarily for Text fields. You may make sure fields doesn't contain anything.
Select all the text filed from the form and right click any of the selected field make sure all of them are selected choose properties --> Appearance there you can choose Font Size and Font type.
    - End users cant change size and type of font. It is up to designer.

  • Changeing the size of text fields

Hello I am trying to get my
text fields for the login and password on the website I am
working on to shrink to a smaller size to fit with the design of
the website. So far I have only been able to change the amount of
    caracters the box displays in dreamweaver and not in the browser;
what I want to do is change the hight, width, and font so they all
can fit in a smaller area.

CSS will do the trick -

    width:60px; }

  • Font size in text area

I have columns defined as readonly text area in a report. I have created a template so that all the reports fields have a font size of 9px. Everything sets to 9px except the fields defined as text areas. can the font size be changed on text area in reports?

    Hi Brian,
    you can add class="myClass"
to the HTML Form Element Attributes region of the page item.
This should allow you to apply the appropriate font-size etc.
Alternatively, you could apply them directly to the input tag in your style sheet.
    input {font-size:32;}
