Font size when using HOMESITE 5.5 trial version
Used homesite 4.0 for many years but now with a new computer with vista, I'm using the trial homesite 5.5. The trial version when using the Browse mode displays the font size larger than what was displayed in homesite 4.0 but the size is normal when using the "view in external browser". Is this normal with the free trial version and will be okay when I download the full Homesite 5.5 version? Or maybe, there is some setting I have done causing this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I don't think there's any setting inside HS that can cause this. With HS closed open IE (7 or 8) open the menu bar (Tools > Toolbars > Menu Bar) and from the menu bar (View) check that the Text Size and Zoom settings are both Medium and 100% respectivley, then open HS and see if the problem is still there.
I'm not using Vista so if it's specific to that platform I doubt I'll be able to give any more help.

Font size when printing from Safari to HP Photosmart 6520 printer
I just bought a Macbook Pro 13 inch, running OSX 10.9.5. When I try to print something from within a Safari web page to my HP PhotoSmart 6520 printer, the font is huge. Does anyone know how to adjust the font size for use with Safari. The font size seems to be ok when I print from Pages, for example. So I m thinking the issue may be limited to printing from Safari.

Hi,
Even I have the exact same issue with my jspx pages.
I am on the EMAIGC_MAIN_LINUX label using JDEVADF_MAIN_GENERIC_070112.1145.4385
I have a tableLayout in my template code, that I use to layout the contents of my jspx page. After I remove the <afh:tableLayout>, the following fonts are affected and work fine -
1. The font of the top File menu that Ravi mentions below.
2. The Navigation tree that we have on the left side of the page.
3. The 'emptyText' of the <af:table> component.
4. The 'help' facet of the <af:panelLabelAndMessage> component.
If I put the tableLayout back again, the large size (16px) fonts in the above areas reappear.
Coming back to the problem -
Now, the Navigation tree, that I have mentioned above, helps me to navigate to a different page.
Once, I click on the navigation tree's node to navigate to the second page, and the page loads, I find that the fonts in the above four afore-mentioned areas go back to the larger size (16px), thus making the removal of the tableLayout useless. Both the initial page and the second page use the same hierarchy of templates and styles.
When I try loading the first/initial page again, the fonts are all fine and proper (11px).
Can someone please help resolve this issue as this is quite a deterrent to achieving a proper looking UI.
Please let me know if anyone needs access to my working env and jspx files.

I have attached the selectPlugin.jspx where the font size is going to be

Fonts went missing when I upgraded from the trial version (mac)
I'd been happily working away in a file using ID CC with no problems whatsoever when my trial period expired. A couple of days later, I purchased a subscription, then opened ID back up and opened up the exact same file.
When I reopened the file, it told me that all my fonts were missing, and it was going to replace them with Minion Pro (no thanks).
I checked fontbook and confirmed that those fonts are, in fact, all installed on my computer. (Even though I was sure they were because I'd been successfully using them shortly before.) I tried uninstalling and reinstalling them. I also tried closing and reopening the document, and shutting down the program, as well as shutting down my computer. Nothing has made any difference. Trying to find the fonts in preflight hasn't helped at all.
The problem is not that my fonts aren't installed, it's that ID stopped recognizing them, even though they are installed, when I switched from the trial version to a subscription.
I haven't found anyone else with quite this same problem.
Any ideas?I meant do you have a third-party font manager, and I see the answer is no.
And the font's don't appear inthe font list, or Find Font, at all?
If that's the case I might sayt it's time to uninstall, run the cleaner tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3) and reinstall. -
Will pages automatically reformat to correct size when using Folio Builder or do I have to make pages iPad format, for example, in InDesign document set up from the start?

You need to set up the pages appropriately for the target device. For iPad that's 1024x768. -
I have deactivated my CS6 on my old computer and now when I have downloaded a trial version and enter the serial number it says not valid? I have only used my license on one computer before? Does anyone know the problem?

View Solution.If you have not installed QTP/UFT before on your system then you will get trial version. Otherwise you need to format your system or try to configure virtual machine on system.

Cannot change font size when highlighted. All font changes. How do I correct this?
Frustrated as to why when I highlight a single word to change font size or style every word on the page follows the adjustment. I need to be able to change words individually with font, size and color.

How to retain font-size when saving filled in form (pdf)
Hi,
I have a pdf form from an organization and when I fill in the (text)boxes, the more text I put in there, the font-size will adjust to fit everything in. However, when I save the pdf file and view it in a different pdf reader the font-size is too big and half of the text is not visible.
Also, the form contains some checkboxes/radiobuttons. When filling in the form they work just fine, but when saved and viewed both the yes and no are checked, even though I only checked one of them.
Anyone have any idea how I could fix this?

I'm using a simple report (Write) and when I want to print it, because of the LINE-SIZE and LINE-COUNT appears in a landscape orientation, but when I changed these parameters appears in a portrait orientation, but the problem is that font size becomes bigger.
How can I do to avoid becomes big the font-size, or if i can change the font size directly in code.

If I copy and paste text from one note to another, it pastes in at the current Dynamic Type size but is no longer adjustable. I have tons of notes with various fixed size text. Is there a way to reset all the text in the Apple Notes App to Dynamic Type so they can be adjusted using the font size slider in settings?
When you use IMAP, as opposed to "On my Mac," Notes will create a folder called "Notes" on the mail server. It will then store notes in there. If you create subfolders in Notes (which you can do), those will be stored as subfolders of Notes on the server.
So in the case of Gmail, you should be able to log onto your Gmail web account and the notes should probably show up in "All my Mail" with a label of Notes (this is because Gmail's IMAP implementation is VERY nonstandard and it doesn't actually support folders; it uses labels instead). If you view the Notes label in Gmail's web interface you should see all your notes.
Because of Gmail's IMAP implementation you should be very careful not to remove the "Notes" label from any of your notes if you're in the web interface, or they will disappear from the Notes app on OS X itself. -

No, I don't think it is possible to make 1 character width as default. If someone wants 1 character width, just Click-n-Drag (like you draw a box).

If Outline and Background color is not needed, than why don't you use "Add or Edit Text Box" (aka Typewriter)
Goto 'Tools' pane > Content > Edit Text & Objects > "Add or Edit Text Box"
