For all the negative remarks about customers

Its very bad that customers have to put up with these smart comments from some people. I see many remarks that people make against customer loyalty..[A company can't stay in business without customer loyalty} If a company treats you good and gives you a good product you will come back. If they give you a small bit more than the first time user you will be inclined to hang around even when they mess up. For those that don't believe ask the CEO how long they could stay in business if they canceled the contracts on just the people that had been there over 10 yrs. You people that run the mouth about there is no such thing just pay the bill and get the service are incorrect. What if we tell the wife,or husband, or even the child that loyalty dosen't mean anything I got a service that I paid for its time to change oh don't forger E T F  [child support]  just pay and get another.   WE all know when they start about how dumb someone is,   its in the contract,  can't you read , you should of read the contract..   Contracts are written to cover your but. If the limb on the tree dosen't bend then it will eventually break and die, dead,  These forums should be to get answers and let the company know  if they are not happy not to belittle other customers.         Just a non customer with thoughts

It does no good trying to bash customers that have a problem or complaint
  You want to talk about loyalty? I spent 14 years as a DirecTV customer, and I paid my bill, and did upgrades to new services with new contracts when I wanted to. I was out of contract with them, I went to a state fair and saw a DirecTV booth there. They were advertising that if you signed up with DirecTV, that they would give you the Sunday NFL Ticket package for free for the 1st year. I called Customer Service for DirecTV right up, and they could not give me that package, even though I had been a customer with them for so long, and had paid my bill with them.
  Why? Because I am not a new customer. I spent an hour on the phone with that person, their boss, and the local regional manager, all of them to tell me that the only thing they could do was to give me a $40 discount off of it, but I would have to spend $396 to get the $40. Needless to say I am not a DirecTV customer now, and every month I get a phone call from them asking me why I disconnected my service.
  You have a contract, you pay your bill, that is all they owe you. It is like your job. Loyalty is not there in a lot of companies either. I have heard numerous people say that the only thing your company owes you is the paycheck for the hours that you worked.
Do I agree with all that? Heck no, I think loyalty is something that a good company ALWAYS keeps in mind. But look at the reality of it.

    Got mine last night. Love it. Activation went perfectly.
    I usually have a lot of luck with technical stuff mainly because I READ ALL THE INFORMATION before starting. You find that nearly all complaints are coming from people who had some 'grand vision' in their head that they'd open the box and immediately iPhone would work just like the pretty advertisments they saw.
    As for AT&T's delay in activating for you, Did you not read that there would be delays expected with all the iPhone sales? Or is that another thing you chose to ignore.

    I am happy all of you assume the people like I who are having trouble did not read the instructions! Not only did I read the instructions, I went through the on-line tutorials.
    I activated the way they told me to! You assume too much. I have been waiting 16 hours...not to mention the 7 month wait just to get this iBrick, or iPaperwieght. Whichever you like. They had 7 months to get all the glitches out. It was dumb to release on a friday and especially dumb to not activate in the store. All this could have been avoided.
    IF THEY WANTED TO EXPERIMENT WITH A NEW WAY OF ACTIVATING, THEY SHOULD HAVE DONE IT ON A PHONE THAT WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SO POPULAR, SO THEY COULD WORK THE GLITCHES OUT ON A SMALL # OF PEOPLE, NOT ON "THE LARGEST LAUNCH EVER."

    Hi, I've read all the negative posts about Citibank.
    I have been a loyal customer of Best Buy for quite some time and have purchased products from washing machines to electric guitars.
    I have my own story:
    I've had nothing but issues with them since Best Buy went to them.  The last 5 bills I've received have been all messed up.  Each time it's been for at least 2 hours.  I never had problems until the switch to Citibank. 
    I have several deferred interest purchases.  I've taken each of those, divided them by the number of months the contract is for, thus determining how much to pay each month to pay them off by the expiration date.  Citibank has screwed them up every month. Distributing them differently than I had requested.  One time in "fixing" their mistake, they "mistakenly" added an additional charge of $130 to my account!  In reversing that they screwed up other distributions. That's why I've been on the phone with them so long each time.  Some of them they still haven't fixed. 
    One six month account isn't due to expire until 9/16/2014, but the way they are applying the distributions it will be paid off 6/15/2014.  A full 3 months before it is due.  It obviously saves them having that receivable for 3 months.
    Most of the customer Service reps have tried to be helpful but some of the time it is them that do the screw-ups.  When I ask to speak to a Supervisor they are usually not helpful or rude.  I was talking to one and he wasn't answering my questions, I challenged him and found out he wasn't even listening!  Sometimes they say "it was a change that didn't get into the computer right". I've spent my entire career in the computer industry (Retail chains, Discount Chains, Accounts Receivables, and Bank Systems)  You NEVER release a change until it has been completely tested.  Apparently they have someone totally incompetent that department.
    They apparently started a new policy 2 months ago that applied your minimum payment to the your revolving balance (non-promotional) first, if you only had Promotional balances it was applied to the one that would expire first.  Again, it's a way for the bank to relieve Receivables earlier than they should. To their benefit.
    I don't understand why so many of the Moderators and other responders have to be so rude and condescending to the people in this forum.  All we hear is this Mantra that Best Buy has nothing to do with the credit card. Yet, the Logo on the statement says "MY BEST BUY CREDIT CARD".  When you pay by mail the payment stub "Make checks payable to "BEST BUY CREDIT SERVICES".  When you call they answer "BEST BUY CREDIT SERVICES".  And you wonder why people think Best Buy owns the credit cards?
    You are correct that Citibank owns the credit cards and processes them.  But some Executive at Best Buy initiated having Citibank do this.  You talk about it's just a marketing thing to have Best Buy's name on everything.  Well I'll tell you. with all the complaints I've read here and horror stories that I have personally heard from customers, it is a very NEGATIVE marketing thing.

    I also noticed that one of the Moderators posted a response to several complaints about no more 18 month deferred purchases that it was Citibank that discontinued them.  It seems to be a very popular "marketing thing" for Best Buy also.  Why keep a bank that dictates "marketing things" to your company?
    Have any of these many complaints been brought to the attention of Best Buy Management?  Do they even know about them?  If they have, then I would think they would be concerned enough to re-think their decision on a Bank Card Processor.
    Many have said they will quit buying from Best Buy.  I will not.  I like the stores, their merchandise and staff.  But I have serious concern that if this problem is not addressed thier may nit be a Best Buy to shop at in the future.
    For that reason I am sending a letter to the CEO and CFO regarding this.
    I would suggest each person that has complained dothe same.  Since the Moderators blocked out the executive's names on one of the posts, you can go to Best Buy.com main page at thew bottom under "Corporate Info/About Best Buy/About Best Buy (yellow Tab)/Executive Team  and you will find their names.  The Corporate address is one one of the posts in here.  The one the they deleted the names from.  Maybe all of our voices will be heard.
    P.S. - Check back to see if I'm blocked or this post is closed or deleted.  If so, another thing to comment to the Executives about...

    Welcome to the forum, and thank you for being a loyal Best Buy customer! I'm very sorry to read of all the troubles you've been having with your My Best Buy credit card account. 
    If you made a purchase using one of our interest free financing offers, to avoid paying the interest, you would need to ensure you were making the minimum monthly payments and paid the full balance by the end of the financing term. For future reference, the promotion expiration will not be the same as the payment due date. The expiration is determined from the date of the purchase. This date would have been clearly marked on each of your billing statements.
    If you did make other purchases during the financing period, the payments would have been applied to the account according to the credit card laws as the others have mentioned. It is my understanding that any payments made to the account would first be applied to all minimum payments due for purchases on the account. Next, it would be applied to purchases that have interest charges due. Lastly, if funds remain from the payment, they will be applied to purchases with the financing promotions, in the order they are set to expire.
    As you may be aware, Citibank, N.A. is the issuer of your My Best Buy credit card account. Due to this, we have no influence, or access to their accounts or policies.  It is however, my goal to assist our valued customers as best as I can; therefore, I will be reaching out to Citibank on your behalf to look into your concerns. and they should be reaching out to you directly within the next 3-5 business days to discuss this further.   • Restricting certain quantity for all the customers who has crossed credit

    how can we restrict the quantities for all the customers in standard functionality.
    for eg:
    the customer whom we are supplying the material is crossing the credit limits and with out paying
    any cash to business, he wants business to send the stocks. in that scenario we want to restrict
    that particular customers.

    You can maintain this via Quantity Contract scenerio.
    For these Customers build the scenerio as this way.
    Only value contract can be created and the release orders can be created through the Quantity Contracts.
    Make these Customer in seperate sales areas then assign the same sales areas to the Contract Document type.
    Maintain the copy control settings..

    I work with an Inventory module software and is responsible for software detection across several computers. Once an updated version comes up, I update our database with latest software details to get it detected if installed on any machines.
    The problem tracking updates with Desktop Creative Cloud Software are;
    1)We have to have it installed with the CC applications in-order to get the notification of the latest updates and have to check everyday.
    2)Only relates to the latest updates, so in-between we may miss a prior update unknowingly.Hence, the remote machines having those updates may not get  detected with the software version update which would create problem in reporting.
    3)For all CC products, there is no base or previous updates available for installation if we miss one.
    I went through the Adobe Products Update pages [Product updates] which holds good when it comes to Acrobat and Reader software which I follow to track down any newer updates but this is inconsistent when it comes to CC products like in After Effects CC, Dreamweaver CC etc...
    So overall to be very specific, is there any one channel I can follow to get the notifications only for the updates on CC products and then may be I can rely on Desktop Creative Cloud for installation if not available anywhere like in product update pages of Adobe ?

    Incident 1. Since many months attempts to download new and updated APPs produced a response – Apple ID Disabled. I had no time to consult an APPLE Store due to work in distant lands. When I finally visited yesterday I was told that as my IPAD has been reported as stolen, and APPLE in its wisdom had blocked its usage! I am not sure how they became so misinformed and nobody every advised me while with a few swift moves APPLE could have located me by email address or SKYPE.
    Incident 2. Once the above anomaly had been fixed I tried to down load a newspaper and diligently input my address, credit card number and personal data. Repeatedly I was advised that my Credit Card was invalid and my postal code was incorrect! Really!
    I was left to guess that having moved from UK to the US I should have advised APPLE! Not being told of this requirement brought about a second visit to APPLE Store in the same day to waste both mine and their time with a routine anomaly. How parochial in the context of a globalized world!
    In each case I tried to resolve the issues using online access to a help line and by calling by phone at the numbers on the APPLE Website. In each of four separate occasions I diligently went through the routine and  ended up with a message that thanked me for contacting Apple followed by a polite ‘Good Bye’!
    In desperation I went to an Apple Store for the second time in a day as it is close to where I live when I am not working. On both occasions I was courteously attended to by Apple Staff.
    However, my work is usually far away from the US and it is generally many thousands of miles to the nearest Apple Store therefore online help is viewed as imperative if one is to resolve issues away from home.
    Why can Apple not provide a clearly marked EMAIL address and Telephone number at a Help Desk with real people to respond to requests for help? It would cost nothing in relative terms and might restore my high level of anti-APPLE sentiment that these two recent events have provoked.

    If that is your question, the answer is at the bottom right of this web page. It is clearly marked "Contact Us" and is the best way, really the only way, to contact Apple.
    If there were a publicly posted email address for concerns such as yours, it would be quickly filled with spam in about three minutes, thereby becoming instantly useless to you and everyone else. Apple would need to change it hourly, if not more often. That is also the reason you ought not to post your name, location, and what appears to be your iPad's serial number on this publicly viewable website.
    Apple does not respond here and I can find no other questions for your fellow Apple users to answer.

    I assume you don't want the output of all 20 groups dumped into one single list.  So, you'd just use this:
    Use the Shell to preview the list of members of a dynamic distribution
    group
    This example returns the list of members for the dynamic distribution group Full Time Employees. The first command stores the dynamic distribution group object in the variable $FTE.
    The second command uses the Get-Recipient cmdlet to list the recipients that match the criteria defined for the dynamic distribution group.

  • Running Reports in a Book for all the possible Page options

    Hi,
    I have created a book containing about 7 reports in total. All the reports have a Prompt to Select the Division. So when i try to view the book in pdf, it prompts me for the Division and when selected gives me all the reports well arranged in PDF.
    What i want is to show all the 7 reports in the pdf but not only for the selected Division but also to other Divisions. So incase if i have 5 Divisions, i need to see the PDF with all the 7 reports and for all the 5 Divisions(5*7).

    Sorted out myself. Select differet divisions on prompt gives a pdf with all the selected Divisions..

    Have you tried removing them temporarily?
    Do you still have problems if you create a new Windows user account and log in with that? How about if you start in Safe Mode?

    I am having difficulty in assigning equal weightage for all the locations in the deployment network.  My scenario is as described below:
    Deployment Source location: LOC1
    Destination locations: LOC2, LOC3
    I am running Heuristics to plan LOC2, LOC3 & LOC1, followed by
    a Deployment Optimizer run at LOC1 to deploy to LOC2 & LOC3.
    ATD quantity at LOC1 is always calculated after saftisfying the requirements at LOC1 and the remainder is deployed to LOC2 & LOC3 based on the cost settings.  This seems to be the case even if I don't run the heuristics at LOC1 and start deployment optimizer after running the heuristics at LOC2 and LOC3.
    The need at this client place is that all three locations are equally important even though LOC1 is the only deploying source location.
    This applies for all demand categories i.e. Sales orders, Forecast and forecast at all the three locations.
    I would appreciate if anybody has done this kind of configuration before and let me know how to model this.

    If you think that you already follow all the steps, but the value is not as per your config, you can raise ticket to SAP about it.
    But I suggest you to double check your computation.
    To determine a vendor's price level, the system compares the vendor's effective price with the market price for the material.
       1. The system first checks whether the buyer has maintained a market price for the material or the material group.
       2. If not, the system calculates the market price which is equal to the average of the effective prices for all vendors supplying this material. Prices from purchase orders and prices for subcontracting are dealt with separately.
       3. The system then applies the effective price for the vendor from the conditions.
       4. The vendor's effective price is then compared with the market price and the percentage variance determined.
       5. The system then assigns a score to the variance in accordance with the settings made in Customizing.
       6. This score is valid for the material, that is, at info record level. Since the score the vendor receives for a subcriterion is based not on an individual material, but on the total of all the materials he supplies, the following steps are necessary:
       7. The system repeats the comparison between effective price and market price for each of the vendor's materials.
       8. The system calculates an average from the sum of the scores determined. This average represents the vendor's score for the subcriterion Price Level.

    You can retrieve all rooms by http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04/current/km/com/sap/ip/collaboration/room/api/IRooms.html#getRoomsWithPrivacy(RoomPrivacyType) (with the different privacy types), and then for each room call getRoomInfo()  (http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04/current/km/com/sap/ip/collaboration/room/api/IRoom.html#getRoomInfo()), from this call getOwnerId() (http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04/current/km/com/sap/ip/collaboration/room/api/IRoomInfoReader.html#getOwnerId()).
    Then you can get the owner via http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/current/se/com/sap/security/api/IUserFactory.html#getUser(java.lang.String) and from this, you can ask any details you want.

    There is a change in the requirement.
    Scenario:
    I have created a sales order with some 4 condition types, in that 2 condition types are of class A & B and the other two is of class C. Here I need to update the condition price of class A & B only and the remaining condition types should not get update even though there is an updated price is available.
    For the above scenario, I need to write a standalone program. Do we have any function modules to update the price of the single condition in the sales order? Please tell me how we can update the sales order at item condition level.
