For component value
Hi:
What is the difference between the bound component.setValue() and component.getValueBinding("value").setValue(facesContext, obj)?
I have a jsf tag as:
<h:outputText id="packageCost_outputText"
binding="#{customerReg.uiOuptuPackageCost}"
value="#{customerReg.packageCost}" />The code piece in back bean as:
packageCost = packageInfoValue.getCost();
System.out.println("=0== packageCost="+packageCost);
FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
ValueBinding vb = uiOuptuPackageCost.getValueBinding("value");
// vb.setValue(facesContext, new Double(packageCost));
System.out.println("=1== packageCost="+vb.getValue(facesContext));
uiOuptuPackageCost.setValue(new Double(33.3));
System.out.println("=2== packageCost="+vb.getValue(facesContext));
System.out.println("=3== packageCost="+(Double)uiOuptuPackageCost.getValue());The output for this code piece as:
17:48:30,472 INFO [STDOUT] =0== packageCost=12.99
17:48:30,472 INFO [STDOUT] =1== packageCost=12.99
17:48:30,482 INFO [STDOUT] =2== packageCost=12.99
17:48:30,482 INFO [STDOUT] =3== packageCost=33.3What is changed for using component.getValueBinding("value").setValue(facesContext, obj)? Doesn't it change the component value, or what value is returned from component.getValue() ?
Thanks for your time.

CO-PA Cost Component do not match with Standard Cost Component Values
Dear Members,
The CO-PA Cost Components (as mapped through KE4R), do not match with Standard Cost Component values for the Group Currency. In local currency the values match.
System is correctly picking up VPRS value, both in local currency and Group Currency, which is equal to the total of Standard Cost Components however, it is the Value Fields linked to the Standard Cost Components in Group Currency that do not match.
In KE40, the Indicator is 4:Released Standard Cost Estimate matching Goods issue Date.
I have verified KEPH/CKMLPKEPH tables. The values are same as that of VPRS.
Any help/clues?
Regards
SatyaHi,
In case of billing documents the group valuation approach is managed in the data structures of the legal valuation in additional value fields. To control costs and revenues in the different views separately, you must create additional value fields and assign them to the data structures.
The field contents must be filled via the CO-PA user exit, they cannot be entered by assigning conditions to value fields. The profit center valuation is updated in a separate ledger. No separate value fields are necessary.
The exit to be used is function module 'EXIT_SAPLKEII_002' ( enhancement COPA0005 ). Within the exit you have the complete SD data avaialble in the tables 'T_ACCIT' and 'T_ACCCR'. The conditions can be found in T_ACCIT and the corresponding values ( linked via 'POSNR' ) in table T_ACCCR. The PA line item and the corresponding SD item in table ACCIT
can be mapped via the line item field 'RPOSN' and the field 'POSNR_SD' in table ACCIT.

How do I modify an arbitrary component value during a simulation?
I am a new Multisim user, beginner SPICE user, but with some undergrad and graduate EE coursework, and some "real world" experience, but I don't pretend to be an EE by long shot.
I am moving to Multisim from a competitor. In the competition, I can open a tab with all the components in the schematic and their values, including various SPICE model parameters and can modify these while the simulation is running.
For example, I can change a resistor without adding a potentiometer. This affords much quicker simulation response and keeps the schematic very clean and clear.
Can Multisim do this? I have not been able to find any information regarding this interactive control of component values and SPICE parameters while a simulation is running.

www.CFandE.comYes. The software is B2 SPICE by BeigeBag software:
http://www.beigebag.com/
Attached is a grab of the "properties" tab for modifying parameters during the simulation. It is very easy and useful. Since teeh components are "static" it doesn't add to the overall simulation overhead. I'm not sure how the author actually programmed this feature, but it is useful as you can add standard fixed components and simply change the value of any component in the circuit during the simulation.

Hi
We are facing an issue that actual cost component values in our system are not calculating correctly. We consider that there might be difference in our understanding regarding the calculation of actual cost component values.
Therefore I want to understand that how actual cost component values are calculated in SAP Material Ledger. I will appreciate if anyone can elaborate this with example and formula, used for calculation.
RegardsHi Saad,
Please find below about the actual cost calculation in ML.
In ML single -level and multi-level material settlements are available. Multilevel price determination calculates the periodic unit price for a material. The standard price, the single-level differences cumulated in the period, the differences between planned and actual prices, as well as input material differences (multilevel differences) are all taken into account.
The material price calculated in multilevel price determination can be used for inventory valuation.
The actual price for each material can be updated to the material master for the closed period.
-During price determination, the system carries out the following calculation:

How to get the Dynamic UI component value from JSFF page to any managedbean
HI ,
We have list of bean objects in jSF page we are iterating the list of bean using the forEach loop and displaying the value into Input type text (UI component) value filed .
If we try to get the UI component value in Managed bean we are not getting the dynamic values .
The below piece of code used to retrieve the dynamic values from the JSF page doesn't have any form :
UIComponent component = null;
FacesContext facesContext = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
if (facesContext != null) {
UIComponent root = facesContext.getViewRoot();
component = findComponent(root, componentId);
then component type casting to the based on UI component which we trying to access and getting the value as " NULL " ..Please let me know how to get the dynamic values form the JSF ?
Please let me know if any other approach or any changes required on above ?
ThanksHi,
the root problem is this
<h:inputText id="it3" value="#{familyList.ctn}" />
<tr:commandButton text="Save" id="cb3"Note how each row writes to the same managed bean property, thus showing the same data. Instead your managed bean should expose a HashMap property that you then apply values to using a key/value pair. The key could be the ID of the field, which then you also should dynamically define e.g. cb<rowIndx>. The command button could then have a f:attribute assigned that has the row HahMap key as a value. This way you truly create value instances for the object

JSF RI 1.1_01: UIInput component value was not set during render response
I've just started to learn JSF, read corresponding chapters in J2EE guide and spec and tried to play little bit with JSF RI 1.1_01. I found very strange (at least for me) behaviour of regular input component (corresponds to inputText tag).
I have very simple example form (contains "select one", input component and command button). Corresponding backing bean has request scope. I set breakpoints in backing bean getters and during debug found:
1. On initial request both getters were called during rendering phase.
2. On form submit request getter for property bound to input component was called again (this looks strange for me) but getter for property bound to select box was not called (it looks as I've expected). This strange call occurs during validation phase. As far as I understand it was the following flow:
a) During initial request rendering response input box value wwas not stored in component state (I even may suggest that it was not set on component, just corresponding HTML tag with initial value was rendered).
b) On submit form submitted string value of input component was decoded from request parameters but local value was set to null (see above).
c) During validation phase submitted value was successfully converted and validated.
d) Then implementation had to detect component value change and called getValue() in order to obtain old value.
e) Implementation of getValue() first looked for local value field - it is null, then it should request for bound value from model.
I tried different ways to store state (client or server) but it was the same. Sadly MyFaces 1.1.1 implementation did even worse - local value of select was also null during first postback.
I wonder why it was implemented this way...

Error on live web server - Retrieving the COM class factory for component
I've had a good read of this forum and can't find the answer to this particular issue. Everything works fine until I upload my vb.net/crystal reports solution to my live production web server. The error I get when I try to open a Crystal Report from the web is:
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {059AC10F-0010-4C43-8876-1FC7BEAF218B} failed due to the following error: 80070005.
It is the following line of my VB.net source code that causes the error.
Dim oRpt As New CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument
I've installed CRRuntime_12_0_mlb.msi to my Windows 2008 / IIS7 web server (This is a 64bit server).
The website works fine on a 32 bit system but on this new server I keep getting the above errors.
I've tried resinstalling the crystal reports numerous times and restarting. I've also tried installing the SP2 version of the CRRuntime and still get the same errors.
I've added read/write permissions to Windows/Temp directory for Network Service.
I've tried to manually register sacommlayer.dll which registers correctly.
The website is not compiled into a binary, the aspx.vb files are simply uploaded to the webserver and compiled on the fly by the server.
I've tried to add <identity impersonate="true" userName="MACHINENAME\administrator" password="PASSWORD" /> into the web.config file to see if this gets any further.
It does however then errors on the following VB Line.
oRpt.SetDataSource(dsSWMP)
with the error
Failed to load database information.Error in File crSitewasteManagementPlan {BEC6811A-D612-4ED6-9AF7-B0C9BED7A966}.rpt:
Failed to load database information
I've also tried opening up the C: / D: drives to the NETWORK SERVICE account with full control (temporarily) to see if I can get past the errors, however this has not worked for me.
Any other ideas to why this might not be working? Ideally I would not like to be using the identity impersonation at all.
Kind Regards
JamesDear Ludek,
I have tried manually registering the sacommlayer.dll already however this didn't make a difference.
I have checked versions of this DLL between the 2 servers and they are the same. (v12.0.0.683)
Find below the logs from process monitor for the 64 bit server.
It definitely shows where it is failing.. any suggestions to fix it?
I can email more detailed logs if you supply me with your email address.
Kind Regards
James

Moving only one component value into a register AGAL
Hi
Do any of you know if there is any way in AGAL of moving a component value from one register to the other without touching the other components in the register? I notice that the following line...
mov ft1.a, ft0.a
...will also overwrite the rgb components in ft1 with the rgb components from ft0. At least it does on my machine. In other words, specifying components may reorder (swizzle) the components, but doesn't mask them to preserve the value of other components in the destination register. Probably because each register is 128 bits wide, so it's easier for the GPU to just do the operation on all four components anyway. I'm trying to implement the technique described here:
http://http.developer.nvidia.com/GPUGems/gpugems_ch22.html
Under "22.2.2 Curves". It requires me to process each color component independently."You can't have an HTML form element map to an Oracle PL/SQL procedure parameter that is defined as a TYPE definition"
Sorry, but this is just plain wrong. Passing values to associative arrays (TYPE xxx IS TABLE OF xxx INDEXED BY BINARY_INTEGER) has been possible at least since OAS 4.0.8.
The following simple procedure prints the values passed to it from a form with multiple occurrences of in_val
CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE test_prc (in_val IN owa_util.ident_arr ) IS
BEGIN
for i in in_val.first..in_val.last loop
htp.p(in_val(i));
end loop;
END test_prc;
(owa_util is a SYS package)
As to the original question, it is very hard to say what the problem is without more details about the error that occurs after the migration. -
Can multisim be set to automatically change component values?
Hi all,
I'm a little new to the newest versions of Multisim (currently using 12), the last version I used was about 10+ years ago, so bear with me if my question seems too simple...
I'm trying to simulate a boost converter and was wondering if there was a way for multisim to automatically change component values with respect to time. In other words, I give it a rannge of values and it will cycle through them -or just vary them in any way at all? If it's available, I might have not seen it. Thanks for all your time!Hi,
The Step Voltage source is basically a piecewise linear source with 4 data points, so instead of using the step function you can use the PWL source instead and add as many data points as you want. If you are not sure what a PWL source is, refer to this:

What is the differnce between binding component value to a property and binding this value to an implicit object? In both cases i can refere to the value inside jsp file by:
#{MyBean.someValue}.
The difference is that in first case I need to declare:
<managed-bean>
<managed-bean-name>MyBean</managed-bean-name>
<managed-property>
<property-name>someValue</property-name>
<value>value</value>
</managed-property>
</managed-bean>In second case I don't need to declare anything.
When should I use first type of binding and when the second one?
What are the restrictions in using implicit binding?The definition of EasingColorKeyFrame class support Dependency Object.

Actual Costing / Material Ledger - Component values transfer after movement
I executed a production order with several cost components, as Labor, Machine HS, after the settlement of the production order this cost where allocated into de CKM3N components. In addition to this, I executed movement 412 Q (Plant Stock to WBS Stock) for the material and the component values didnt pass to the material / PEP. I executed CKMLCP to Multilevel price determination. Can anyone help me with this?
The original material kept the cost split values, but the Material / Pep didnt. (the material code and plant didn't change)
RegardsHi ,
Welcome to SDN ..
Its not a ML issue , but its a MM issue..
Movement 412Q is a transfer from plant stock to project stock. The material quantity gets reduced from plant stock and increased on project stock. The material value stays on the inventory account (so you won't see any actual costs associated with this transaction). ..
After you do a 412Q you can to a 221Q to issue the material from your project stock to the WBS. This will reduce the quantity in your project stock segment. The material value is credited to inventory and debited to material consumption expense(actual cost on the WBS).
The above applies to valuated project stock only. An issue to non-valuated project stock is treated like an inventory transfer from the logistics point of view(quantity is moved from plant stock to project stock) but like a consumption from a financial point of view(reduce inventory, increase expense).
Since, your Project Stock is not consumed.. CKM3N is not reflecting any consumption. Please use the movement type 221Q and i am sure your issue will be solved..
Please revert back for any further clarifications

SelectOneMenu: Error finding converter for component
I keep getting an error in my selectOneMenues saying
"Error finding converter for component myselectone".
The SelectOne elements contains both key and value as String.
The value that is to be set in my bean is also a String.
Why do I need a converter here and what is that converter supposed to be??
Beacause of this, the selectOneMenu want post.Is the value which is bound to the selectOneMenu reachable?
Try logging the getter-method of the bound value. When you bind the value to a nested bean, the bean might have not been initialized.
I had the same problem with something like this
I had a Person class with a nested person-attribute object.
I bound the value of the selectOneMenu to one of the attributes of the nested person-attribute object, without instantiating the object first in the faces-config. After instantiating not only the person class as a managed bean but also the nested person-attribute object, all was well. -

How does APEX check for null values in Text Fields on the forms?
Hello all,
How does APEX check for null values in Text Fields on the forms? This might sound trivial but I have a problem with a PL/SQL Validation that I have written.
I have one select list (P108_CLUSTER_ID) and one Text field (P108_PRIVATE_IP). I made P108_CLUSTER_ID to return null value when nothing is selected and assumed P108_PRIVATE_IP to return null value too when nothign is entered in the text field.
All that I need is to validate if P108_PRIVATE_IP is entered when a P108_CLUSTER_ID is selected. i.e it is mandatory to enter Private IP when a cluster is seelcted and following is my Pl/SQL code
Declare
v_valid boolean;
Begin
IF :P108_CLUSTER_ID is NULL and :P108_PRIVATE_IP is NULL THEN
v_valid := TRUE;
ELSIF :P108_CLUSTER_ID is NOT NULL and :P108_PRIVATE_IP is NOT NULL THEN
v_valid := TRUE;
ELSIF :P108_CLUSTER_ID is NOT NULL and :P108_PRIVATE_IP is NULL THEN
v_valid := FALSE;
ELSIF :P108_CLUSTER_ID is NULL and :P108_PRIVATE_IP is NOT NULL THEN
v_valid := FALSE;
END IF;
return v_valid;
END;
My problem is it is returning FALSE for all the cases.It works fine in SQL Command though..When I tried to Debug and use Firebug, I found that Text fields are not stored a null by default but as empty strings "" . Now I tried modifying my PL/SQL to check Private_IP against an empty string. But doesn't help. Can someone please tell me how I need to proceed.
ThanksSee SQL report for LIKE SEARCH I have just explained how Select list return value works..
Cheers,

How to check for null values in bpel?? Please Help! very urgent!!!
Hello Guys,
I have a problem. I have an external webservice to which I have to post my request. My task is to create an Webservice and Service Assembly to which others would post request and get response. I have to create SA to deploy onto the bus.
The problem is that there are optional elements in the request and response xsd's. In the Response sometimes certain feilds may come or they may not. for Example:- my response could contain a tag like this <firstName></firstName>
I have to copy these feilds in my bpel process from one variable to another.(like in the mapper).
My Question is , Is there any way in BPEL process or BPEL mapper where I could Check for null values in the request or response???
Your inputs would be very helpful.
Thanks
RajeshThanks for replying man :)
Ok I will be more clear.
Here is a snippet of one of the xsd's that I am using.
<xs:element name="returnUrl" nillable="false" minOccurs="0">
<xs:annotation>
<xs:documentation>Partner specifies the return URL to which responses need to be sent to, in case of
Async message model.
</xs:documentation>
</xs:annotation>
<xs:simpleType>
<xs:restriction base="xs:anyURI">
<xs:maxLength value="300"/>
<xs:whiteSpace value="collapse"/>
</xs:restriction>
</xs:simpleType>
</xs:element>
This means that the return URL field can be there or it may not be there. But if it is there it cant be null because nillable=false. But the whole <returnURL> </returnURL> can be there or it may not be there because minOccurs=0.
My requirement is , if returnURL is there in the response with a value, then in my BPEL mapper I should map it else I should not map it.
Thats the issue.
and Yes kiran, the node be non-existant.
So can you please help me with this.
Thanks
Rajesh
