For-each mapping
Hi, I am using the 'for-each' to map a nodeset to a nodeset that has a maxOccurs="3" in the XSD schema. Is there a way to limit the 'for-each' to only map 3 values and stop after that?

I need to genarate primary key for each record in the paylod in mapping..
Eg: if i have a 10 reacords i need to have a primary key for each record..starting with the

First 001
Secound 002
Tenth 010
If i need to write any user defined funtion... can any one provide the code for it.

Issue with XSLT For each loop in B2B Mapping

I am trying to map the inbound 997 Payload into Headers and Lines Table. I am using the For Each XSLT Construct to map the Loop AK2 of 997 into the 997 Lines Collection.
Issue I am facing is that if the Loop AK2 is repeated for 33 times then for all the 33 times only its first element's value is getting passed into the target of mapping file.

In your xslt code within the for loop, for the trxSetIdentCode why are you using the xpath "/ns1:Transaction-997/ns1:Loop-AK2/ns1:Segment-AK2/ns1:Element-143"? It should be just "ns1:Segment-AK2/ns1:Element-143". Similar changes for segmentError and trxSetAckCode also should be done. Remove the '/ns1:Transaction-997/ns1:Loop-AK2/' part from your xpath expressions inside the for loop and try it.

Executing a message mapping for each instance of a sub-message
Hi,
I have a message struct like the following.
MT_TEST (1..1)

>IDOC (1..Unbounded)
There is a field in each instance of Idoc, depending on its value, I need to perform receiver determination.
The target for each IDOC instance will be different for each value of the field.
How do I write a XPath expression to achieve this?
Also, is there any other method of achieving the same goal?

EarlenceHmmm.. so idoc is at source side..... Ok so multiple idocs are coming in one bundle BUT you cannot just divide the payload based on some conditions in Receiver Determination.
In your mapping you can map the source date to different targets but that is different thing.
Note: You can either send the whole payload to one receiver or nothing. You cannot send a part of the payload to 2 different receivers.
So it means it doesn't seems to be possible.

Mapping issue: FCC: Idoc for each record in file

I have file to Idoc scenario.
I receive csv file with multiple records.
The requirement is to create an Idoc for each record.
For eg.

I have first tested it with only 1 record to test end to end connectivity. It works as expected and Idoc is posted to target system.
Now when I am trying to send multiple records, I am getting some issues.
Below are the steps that I have taken to process multiple records:
1. Changed the cardinality of ROW (child of RecordSet) from 1 to Unbounded.
2. Changed the occurance of Idoc to Unbounded.
3. Mapped ROW to Idoc root.
I have tested the mapping in IR and it generates multiple IDOCs.
When I send the test file, it fails with error Tag found instead of tag IDOC BEGIN=
I can see the xml message created with multiple ROWs in XI by File adapter in sxmb_moni.
When I do Test Configuration in ID, with the XML message extracted from sxmbmoni, the result that I got was:_

This means that idoc was not created while mapping.

FCC is working fine. I have taken the XML message in XI created after FCC from csv sample message.
I have tested this message in IR by placing it between

Graphical mapping question - need to create 2 nodes for each record
The mapping is from flat to nested, i.e. flat file to FIDCC2 idoc. Each record has to go to 2 repeated IDoc segments, each one with different posting key. Right now, I have it working for each record to a segment(for one segment) by using splitByValue (value change). How can I repeat the creation of another but with slightly different constant.
Also, how do I add line numbers? I remember seeing a posting on this a while ago - cannot locate it.

Using the following example to store it as global variable
SetParameter from GloabalContainer:
container.getGlobalContainer ().setParameter ("COUNTER", "0");
GetParameter from GloabalContainer:
String myCounter = (String) container.getGlobalContainer().getParameter ("COUNTER");
When you map to your constant, store it in global variable, then you map other field, get current global variable, check its value, based on the value, you do proper mapping.

I understand what you've done now. You used the "Set Layer Visibility" command which sets the on/off state of all the layers at once. What you need is a more subtle approach, one that will only change the state of the specific layer associated with the button, not the rest of them (so that you could have multiple layers enabled at the same time). The way to do that is by using a script.
I wrote the script for you and applied it to the top-left counties (WILLIAMS and FULTON), in the attached file. You can now copy the actions I associated with those buttons to the rest of them, and it should work as you want it to.

Activity looping/parallel for each: Output mapping and Inturrupting
Hello,
we want to model and execute an approval process with one requestor and several approvers. All assigned approvers get the approval task simultaniously to save time. Each approver can make a decision like Reject, Rework, Approve and also add comments.
Only if all Assignees make their approval, the request gets approved. On the first occuring "rework" or "reject" decision, all open tasks have to be removed from the assignees UWLs; their results become unnnecessary.

As you can see in the model, we made an approach using a parallel for each Human activity. In our process the tasks show up in parallel on each adressed UWL. Thats fine so far but we are facing two problems.
1. Output Mapping of parallel Tasks
1.1 Are we right to assume that for each task output the activitys output mapping is done?
1.2 Are there differences to the regular output mapping we have to consider?
2. Stopping the parallel tasks and continuing the process flow .
We said as soon as any result like rework or reject comes out, the whole activity should stop and all open tasks be removed from the UWL. How can this be modeled and realised?

How to create one primary key for each vendor

i am doing IDOC to jdbc scenario
i am triggering idoc from R/3 and the data is going into DB table vendor through XI.
structures are as follows:
sender side: ZVendorIdoc (this is a customized IDOC , if i triger IDOC for multiple vendors then it triggers only 1 idoc with multiple segment )
Receiver side:

if i trigger idoc for multiple vendors ,for example vendor 2005,2006 and 2010 . then i can see that the only key comes from the very first field (2005) and the whole record for vendor 2005,2006 and 2010 goes into the table with this(2005) as a primary key
now again if i send data for these three vendor 2005, 2006 , 2010, in which record for the vendor 2005 is same and for 2006 and 2010 are different than it takes 2005 as a primary key and it does not update the data in the table.
my requirement is like this: for each vendor there should be one unique key assigned.
for above said example there should come three keys one for each vendor .

I am using these tutorial [https://blogs.oracle.com/middleware/entry/integrating_google_maps_with_adf] and I know how to access latitude and longitude from output text (for one point). Now i need to do something similar with loop for all table rows. How can I achieve this?
I have JavaScript code which uses Google Maps API and can display many points on one map. Also I have longitude and latitude data in af:table (bindings), each table row has one point. My task is to take data from af:table and pass it to JavaScript.

It can be achievable with static tabs created for each LOV .But this is not recommended because , object values can change dynamically .
It is good idea to use section on prompt object in the report .With sections great feature available is in larger report it’s easy to navigate using map. It displays the section tree.You can select the particular LOV to navigate. -
Looping through an array to get the index for each measure in a combo box
Hi folks,
I am working on a web application that has two combo boxes, one for year (called yearcombo) and for measures (called myURL) for that selected year, and also two radiobuttons (in radioBtnGroup). I have two years and a bunch of measure for each year. I have a map tool tip that when you mouse over the county you see a measure for that specific year. However I have a bunch of measures for each year and I want to be able to loop through the measures (which are in an array collection inside a combobox) so my "if" expression can find every selectedIndex and bring me the tool tip for that selected measure for that selected radio button. Right now I would have to create if statements for each measure (each selectedIndex inside the myURL combobox)and each radiobutton (inside the radioBtnGroup) instead of creating a if expression to get a map tip tool for each measure. I know I would have to create a loop to search for these indexes and enter that in the if expression and also change the graphic.attributes to reflect the right measure or index selected. Do you API for Flex wizards can give me any tips on how to code this according to my code below ? Any help is greatly appreciated! (the print scree is attached)

XSLT for-each within another for-each
Hi All,
My XSLT mapping needs to pick a field(BOL) from the Header and the using that, search the Items node for the matching BOL and generate the output accordingly.
My current XSLT is as follows(not the entire program, just the snippet)
<xsl:for-each select="ns0:Messages/ns0:Message1/ns1:MT_Header/Header">
<xsl:param name="search"><xsl:value-of select="bol"/></xsl:param>
<xsl:for-each select="ns0:Messages/ns0:Message2/ns1:MT_Items/Item[BOL=$search]">
<Output>
<BOL_ITEM><xsl:value-of select="BOL_ITEM"/></BOL_ITEM>
</Output>
</xsl:for-each>
</xsl:for-each>
The following code works correctly(without the outer for-each and with hardcoding)
<xsl:param name="search">100</xsl:param>
<xsl:for-each select="ns0:Messages/ns0:Message2/ns1:MT_Items/Item[BOL=$search]">
<Output>
<BOL_ITEM><xsl:value-of select="BOL_ITEM"/></BOL_ITEM>
</Output>

So its the for-each within another for-each that does not work . Is there some syntax problem ? Or another way to achieve this in XSLT?Closing this thread
