Form moved in the window

I am using Forms6, Developer Server6 and Application Server
4.0.7
on NT 4 with SP5.
I am using Netscape 4.6.1 and JInitiator 1.1.1.0. to run my form.
When I use call_form, the form called is moved (up and left) in
relation to the window.
It doesn3t occurs when I run on client-server.
Can anybody help me?.

Hi,
You have code in Formcalc scripting language, if its ok for you try the below java script code on formready event of I_Class.
Send_invoice.Street.presence = (I_CLASS.rawValue == "" || I_CLASS.rawValue == null) ? "hidden" : "visible";
make sure you are referencing street & I_Class with the correct heirarchy paths often this was the mistake most people do.

Close the window in forms

well i had made my application with multiple windows in one form well all the window be opened through menu but the problem is that when i tried to close the windowby clicking on the close mark on the window it dont close that window well in this way if i had opened 10 or more windows they remain open and dont seem to be close by that close or hide on exit property of that windows what i conclude its a built in bug or any mistake that i had made help me out

How to hide the window/canvas which is placed on the form?

We have a bussiness requirement to hide the canvas/window which is present in the standard form.
The standard form already contains the Window/canvas,we want to hide it without disturbing its functionality so that it is not seen on the form when it forms.

Smart forms - Dynamic sizing of the windows.

Hi gurus, iam working on smartforms, i have a problem.
My requirement is: Printing a table data on the smart form. Is the window which prints this table data is resized with the amount of table data, if so, what is the procedure i should follow for to print this data in the window.
Please give me the steps to go with the above issue. iam new to smartforms. what is the size of the window i should give in the Form painter and what all the attributes i should declare.

Where can I set the window dimensions for the "Java Applet window"?

Hi,
When I run a form on the web, the Java Applet is loaded and the form appear in the window. But "base window" have gived dimensions indifferent what dimensions has the window of the form which I run.
So, where can I set the dimensions of the "core window" which is behind the MDI window of the application?

in formsweb.cfg you will find parameters "width" and "height". You can set absolute values in pixels or "relative" in percent.
width=800
height=600
or
width=100%
height=100%

SAPScript: why the window only show the LAST line

Dears,
In my form, one of the window only show the LAST line of the it.
I have set the window enough space, also when debuging the program , open_form, write_form,
all of those sy-subrc = 0.
both static texts and dynamic texts are set in the window, but only the last line shown.
Anyone could help me?

Hi,
There are several possibilities to resolve your problem.
You can work with 2 main windows on in1 page.
With NEW-WINDOW you switch to the next main-window
How to use it.
make an item in main window with that /: NEW-WINDOW command
if you are ready with first loop call a WRITE_FORM with that NEW-WINDOW statement.
to cojntinue in the other main.
Other possibility is. (in case there are not ot many lines)
Use for every line other variable names.
Fill these in the loop. And after loop WRITE FORM
eg. (if maximum is 3 lines)
&VAR1_1& &VAR1_2& &VAR1_3& &VAR1_4&
&VAR2_1& &VAR2_2& &VAR2_3& &VAR2_4&
&VAR3_1& &VAR3_2& &VAR3_3& &VAR3_4&

Trial Version of elements 13 running on latest IMac 27 inch. Move the mouse and it is time out. Doesn't matter where on the window the mouse is. The program does not respond quickly at all. Takes ages to do anything with it. Any suggestions?

The program does not respond very well at all. I am wondering now if I should bother purchasing the program.

How much ram do you have? Did you recently import a bunch of photos into the organizer? PSE will be slow till it's through cataloguing them, which can take some time for large number of images.

How to hide the window of Runtime Parameter Form?

I have a form and I call a report from this form.I have passed some parameters to this report.Before the browser of reports appear the window of Runtime Parameter Form.I want to hide this window of Runtime Parameter Form but I don't know how.

When calling the report, set the property PARAMFORM to NO. IF you using parameter list to pass values to report you can do as follows:
ADD_PARAMETER(pl_id,'PARAMFORM',TEXT_PARAMETER,'NO');

Object Referenced Error When calling the Windows Form during Runtime

I am getting Object reference errors when running windows form during runtime. In debugging mode in MS Visual studio 2005, I am not getting this error. Viewing more than 9 Forms from the Window Menu Item

Hi,
I would like to know if you can list more than 9 Forms at one time from the Windows Menu Item before you have to select the MORE WINDOWS option to display the entire list of currently opened forms.
Can this be set in the .mmb or some config file?
It would be nice to have a list of about 12 Forms to choose from at one time before selecting the MORE WINDOWS option.

10g form canvas not fitting into the window....migrated from 6i

I have some forms that I migrated from 6i to 10g on an XP machine. The entire form is not being displayed. I increased the size of the applet window in the ODS environment. This did indeed get larger, but did not rectify the problem. I then tried to increase the size of the canvases and windows on the form. The only thing that this accomplished, as you might expect, is that it just added scroll bars to the form so that I can see the entire form by adding a scroll bar so that I could scroll to see the entire form. What I need to do is to display the entire form without having scroll bars displayed. Help will be greatly appreciated. Thanx. Paul

Is your form displaying inside the browser window or in a separate window?
If you maximize the window, is your form still being cut off (displaying blank space to the right or at the bottom)?

Cuatom Forms: Loosing the Vertical scrollbar when resizing the Window

Hi All
I have developed a Custom Form. In that there is a Content Canvas and on the top of that I have put a Stacked Canvas so that i can get both the Horizontal and Vertical scrollbars. the form has more than 40 fields to display.
Folder tool functionality has also been added to the Form.
The form works absolutely fine and scrollbars too.
But when I am resizing the window (making the window size bigger or smaller by dragging the window on the Oracle Apps screen), at that time I am loosing the vertical Scrollbar. Other than Vertical scrollbar everything works fine.
Is there any way (any code) by which the Vertical Scrollbar will not disappear.
I would really appreciate if any one could guide me on this.

That having been said, I encountered this about a year ago. If I remember correctly, we were able to resolve the issue by applying a Forms server patch to the Apps Tech stack. Please check Metalink to verify.

ImaqDisplayImage hangs when running .exe and the window can't be moved when in Debug mode

I am running a multi threaded application with multiple windows, two of which display images but only one is open all the time. The window displaying the image (using imaqDisplayImage(myImage, 1, TRUE)) can not be moved or resized, the image continually updates though, when I run the app in debug mode.
If I run an executable, either debug or release the following happens:
Everything looks good right when the app starts, all windows are displayed and the live image window is continually updated.
If I click on any window in my program or not in my program, the imaqDisplayImage window freezes and will not udate its image, it will allow me to move it though, and it has (Not Responding) in the title bar. The main window of my program does not freeze and behaves normally.
I know that an acquisition is still taking place because I have a button on my main window that copies the last grabbed image that should be displayed in the imaqDisplayImage window and displayes it on a canvas (using imaqImageToArray etc . . .) and this image changes everytime I click the button.
Anyone have any tips with dealing with imaqDisplayImage windows?? Thanks!

At this point we want to pinpoint exactly where in your code this behavior is originating from. Try running the included examples which can be found here:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\MeasurementStudio\CVI\samples\Vision\1.GettingStarted
and see if you experience the same behavior. If we still experience this, then we know that it is a setting within the functions that we need to change. If not, we know that it is somewhere else in the code of the bigger project which is the culprit.
