Format AP Check Address

I need to format an addresss on the AP Check so that there are no spaces in the address. For example, if the customer has Address1, Address2 and Address3, but address2 has no value, I need to move address3 up so it follows address1. Visual example:

Can't import LDIF format exported mail address to Address Book

New to iMac and trying full migration from PC
I have a LDIF format address file (exported from Comcast's Webmail in Netscape Communicatore LDIF format). Can't import the file to my new iMAC's Address Book.
Getting the following msg: No Cards Added. No importable cards were found.
It is a small file, there are records in the file- I opened the file with MS Notepad. I have opend the file with TextEdit as well and see the records in the file. Records have givenname:, sn:, mail:. xmozillanickname:, description:.
I've checked the FAQ, all support pages and there doesn't seem to be a solution.
Is this ture?

I found a solution.
When I tried importing the mailboxes, I was selecting "Files in mbox format," because that's what they are, right? No. Apparently, I needed to select "Apple Mail" instead.
That imports everything under an Import folder, and then I can select the emails and drag them to the appropriate inboxes (after re-setting up the accounts).
Ugh, this is not easy. But I'm getting close.
(Oh, step 6 will be to clear off Time Capsule and start a new backup. But only after I'm convinced things are running right. Obviously, I will be looking at other options for catastrophic backup in the future.)
Another note: I first tried copying my entire user folder to my external drive. But after a few minutes of copying, that failed, saying that I didn't have permission to copy one or more files. It didn't tell me what it was, or ask whether to skip it. It just failed. So that's why I was left to selectively pick files.
Another lesson learned: Know your Time Capsule password. If you rely on Keychain for this, and your machine dies, you're going to have a hard time recovering (if it's possible).

HR Payroll Checks address "To The Order Of " is incorrect

For HR payroll checks if there is info in adrs-pstl2 field the
function ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM generate
the address incorrect.
I traced the logic in the debugger
            The function change the g_delivery_type from u201CSu201D to u201CCu201D
-     then clear the street field
-     then it overwrites the zip code with the contents of adrs-pstl2 .

Hi,
You can influence the address returned by ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM. You would need to create and address layout in the customer range (900 to 999) and assign this to the required country in config. Then use the user exit EXIT_SAPLSADR_001 to apply your own formatting.

Number format settings for address book

The format settings in the Address Book preferences does not seem to work properly.
I selected the "Phone" icon, checked the "Automatically format phone numbers" box, and selected the "+1 (123) 456-7890" format.
When I add a new number using the "+" in the contact form and enter the number, it puts the number in the "(123) 456-7890" format.
If I uncheck the "Automatically format...." box, the format of a new entry will be "1234567890". I can never get it to add the "+1" in front of the number.
In order to utilized the "Call with Skype" feature when Skype is loaded, it requires the "+1" prepended to the number.
This is most annoying, since I had to go in and edit 100+ contact numbers to add the "+1".
Any suggestions?

Format of SMTP address for sapconnect

Hello, We are trying to setup printing to Rightfax via SAPconnect. We did not purchase the SAP
integration module, we are merely trying to send email to the Lotus Notes module of Rightfax.
The mail always bounces back with this error:
Valid fax destination information could not be found
in your mail message. The message was discarded.
The "/name=first.last/fax=0001112222/"
information is missing, leading me to believe that SAP is actually ignoring this part and not sending it to the SMTP server,using only the string username at company dot com.
We use the format
"/name=first.last/fax=0001112222/<address>"
I've tried every permutation of quotes and spaces imaginable, heck, I've even read the docs! at

It seems as if SAPconnect does not like this format , and changes it. It will add quotes to the first part if they arent there, and will insert a space before the address, etc. In other words,
when I view the log of the message in transaction SCOT it is different than the address I typed in.
(note that SDN will not permit me to post even the string username at company dot com)

How to format numbers in Address Book for iPhone

I am planning to get an iPhone within the next few weeks and have begun entering all the numbers from my current cell phone into Address Book so that I'll be able to sync it with the iPhone. Since I never had to sync these numbers with anything other than my .Mac account, they are all entered like this: (555) 555-5555. Do I have to format them differently so that I will be able to use them on the iPhone. And do I have to add a "1" for each number or can I have the iPhone add that automatically?

Format Payments check printing program completes in warning APP-FND-00500:

I'm in process of converting Oracle Payables check printing from reports 6i to XML publisher.
I created template, data definition and changed the output for concurrent program to XML.
I tried printing check and 'Format Payments (Evergreen)' concurrent program completed with warning.
Log file has following error.
APP-FND-00500: AFPPRN received a return code of failure from routine FDUPRN. An error occurred while AOL tried to spawn the print process
Cause: AFPPRN received a return code of failure from the OSD routine FDUPRN. An error occurred while AOL tried to spawn the print process.
Any one there has any idea what this error is for.

This could have something to do with the fact that your printer is not set up correctly. Can you run a plain text (OReports) file output to the same printer? If not, then the printer is not set up in FND correctly. If you can ...
Remeber that unless you have a more modern printer that can handle PDF documents natively then XMLPs PDF is going to need to be converted to PS or PCL. I would suggest you investigate the PASTA printer driver and get that set up. It provides the ability to call a program pdf2ps for instance, to convert the PDF to PS. There is a bunch of info on metalink

Sapscript, check address, variable starting vertical position Solved

Hello all,
On the check that we are creating for Accounts Payable payments, vendors that have all four name fields populated are causing the last line of the address on the check to be too close to the MICR line.
I want the address to start printing conditionally at line 55, 56, or 57, depending upon the number of name fields that are populated. Does anyone have a suggestion on a way to accomplish this? Currently the address starts printing in line 57.
This is the address command as it currently exists.

This is how I sold my problem.
1. Move the address window up two lines.
2. Add the following code before the address command. This code could possibly print one or two blank lines before the address command is executed.

Date Format in Check Printed from F110

Hi,
I'm on 4.6C.
Company: US10 (United states local configuration)
I'm doing the check printing thru Tcode F110 and for printing we are using program RFFOUS_C. Earlier we were getting date format as MM.DD.YYYY but if vendor is form Spain (I'm not sure) I have started getting format as DD/MM/YYYY.
Why?. Should I change vendor's country to US on Tcode FK03?
I have checked the user setting (Tcode SU3) of the person who did the printing, in that also the date format is MM.DD.YYYY.

well you are doing it anyway manually when i have a look at your coding.
you are not using the standard way of printing an adress by just giving adrnr to the adress statement, but you are printing the fields in detail anyway.
So well just adopt it the like following:

I create a Jdialog that I wish that it could input time of someone entering in my house.
I use jTextField2.getText() to get the String.
How could I check if it is "hh:mm:ss" format?
and how to convert it to Time that I could store in DBMS -- MySQL.

Copying format of email addresses

Dear all,
This is a very minor issue, but it's a bit annoying nonetheless. It seems that with Snow Leopard, the format that you get when copying a contact's address (for example from the "To:" field of a new email you're composing) and pasting it somewhere has changed from the raw address (i.e. "[email protected]") to the full address info (i.e. "Tim Metz <[email protected]>").
Is there any way to switch this back as I use this quite a lot and 99% of the time I need just the address and not the brackets, full name, etc.

Thanks for the answer. It's pretty strange though cause I use that a lot and I'm quite sure it wasn't like that before Snow Leopard.
And I know it's a very small thing, but I use it a lot to share contacts with people, send invitations on social networks and other online stuff, etc. and usually in those things it's best to just have the raw email address without all the extra info (the naming in my address book is not necessarily what I would like to share with other people
Anyway, very minor stuff, in dutch we call my behavior "ant f*cking"

We formated our computer and we need to set up Adobe premiere CS5 to our computer again. We don't have the set up CD, although we have the licence number. We can not set up the Adobe premiere CS5 . We need set up trial file to use licence number for this product. What can we do for set up?
