Forms Builder 11g R1 Download

Can someone please tell me exactly where I can download Windows 64 bit Forms Builder 11g, Release ONE (an actual link would be awesome)?
Weblogic is aleady installed, as well as Forms Builder 11g R2. The problem is, our system is running Forms 11gR1 and the forms creaed by the R2 builder will not compile on the R1 system, hence the need for Forms Builder 11g R1.
I spent most of yesterday afternoon trying to find it on Oracle's sight and before throwing the computer thru the nearest window in frustration, I thought I would pose the question to the forum.
Thanks

Just to clarify what you are saying for everyone, there is no "Forms Builder" download. The Forms Builder is an integral part of a Fusion Middleware installation. It is not a stand-alone product any longer. So, don't expect to find a link that says something like "Forms Builder 11 - Download".
To download "Fusion Middleware 11 - Portal, Forms, Reports, Discoverer", you will need to go to: https://edelivery.oracle.com
Once in EDelivery and having responded to the licensing and export agreements, choose the product you want from the list. In your case, " +Oracle Fusion Middleware+ " then choose your platform. This will display a list of available products in that line. If, for example you are on a 64bit Windows platform, you would need to click on " +Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Media Pack for Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)+ ". This will display another list. In that list, look for " +Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports and Discoverer 11g (11.1.1.2.0) for Microsoft Windows x86 (64-bit)+ ". There will be 4 parts to the download. You will need all 4.
Keep in mind that this is just the base release of the product. Meaning that this is version 11.1.1.2. The current patched version is 11.1.1.6. To get the latest patch you will need access to MyOracleSupport.

Do you have metalink access? If so read note 969422.1 as this sounds exactly like your problem.
Basically it's a problem with the NLS_LANGUAGE you are using (basing on some cyrillic characters in your "edited by" text I am assuming you are using a russian nls_language).

It connect appeared ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve service name.
I search all about middleware folder in my PC , then find two tnsnames files and two sqlnet.ora
    the sqlnet.ora content is
    #==============================================================
    SQLNET.AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS)
    NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH= (TNSNAMES, EZCONNECT)

the tnsnames.ora content is(copy same content from oracle database 11g's tnsnames.ora)

The I update all of my PC's tnsnames.ora like above string, but it always not work
    somebody help me,thanks!!

    Ronald,
I was able to connect to a database with Forms 11g by adding an Environment variable TNS_ADMIN and pointing this to the directory where the sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora files are located. I was unable to find a Net Configuration Assistant in Forms 11g and placing a copy of .ora files in the /%11G HOME/NETWORK/ADMIN didn't work either. Only after I added the environment variable was I able to connect.
There might be a "More Appropriate" solution, but this is what worked for me. We are just now testing 11g, but are still developing with 10g R2.
    Hope this helps,

  • 11g forms builder is not able to initiate the Internet explorer

    Hi,
my problem is that my forms builder is not able to open the form in IE during compilation if Internet explorer is not already running but it is able to open the form in a new tab if Internet explorer is already running.
    My system's specifications :-
    Oracle forms builder 11g
    Windows 2008 SP2
Internet explorer version :-Internet explorer 9
    Please help.
    Thanks,
    RS

    1. In the Builder verify that you have valid values for the Application Server URL and Browser Location fields in the Builder Preferences Runtime (tab). Do not leave either field blank.
    2. In the browser settings, on the Advanced tab, scroll down to the Security section and check the box labeled, "Allow active content to run in files on My Computer".
    3. Click Ok to save the changes. Close ALL open browsers
    4. Retest

  • After saving a pll file in 11g Form Builder, should I be to open it  in....

    .......10g Form Builder?
    Friends,
I am currently looking at upgrading our 10.1.2 forms application to 11.1.1 and am slightly puzzled by something.
If I open an existing 10g .PLL file in Form builder 11g and save it should I still be able to open it in Forms Builder 10g?
The reason for asking is that when we moved from 6i Forms to Forms 10g, once the PLL was saved in the newer version of Form builder it was no longer possible to open it in the earlier, 6i, version of Form Builder. If you attempted to do so you would see an error "Encoded format has an unrecognized format"
However it appears that after opening a PLL in Forms 11g builder and saving the file I can still open the same file in Forms 10g. Is this the expected behaviour?
The reason for asking this is that I want to check that the upgrade to 11g is actually doing something!
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Timothy,
The account cannot be validated error was due to a glitch on our activation server that has been fixed now.
Please try using acrobat now and check if you are still facing the problem.

half of volume 1 is available.
Where I can get the complete documentation?

go to the registry and delete all that are from oracle.
go to the services in control panel and stop all the oracle services that are running and make them manual. Now reinstall , think it will work.

  • Install Forms and Reports builder 11g without WebLogic Server

    Hello Everybody,
Presently to install Forms and Reports builder 11g on a PC for developers, we need to install WebLogic Server prior to that.
For this, we need lot of resources. Hardware, to download big software bundles, memory resources, etc...
If we have a solution like *"Forms and Reports builder 11g and its tools as stand-alone distribution from Fusion Middleware technologies"* ........ no words from me.
Do you have a solution to install Forms and Reports Builder 11g without WebLogic Server?

  • Forms builder download

I've downloaded Oracle 10g express to one laptop and Oracle 11g express to another. I'm attempting to build Forms and reports now.
    My questions are the following.
1 Is forms and reports included in either or both of these softwares if it is where and how do I access them and get forms builder screen. if not where do I download them.
2 My book is talking specifically about oracle forms builder is that a seperate software if so can someone give me a download link if not how do I access them from oracle 10g or 11g.
    thanks
    Ali

Unfortunatly I don't have access to oracle support so I can't read their message about this subject.
To make it easier I decided to dowload forms and report to my laptop which has Oracle 11g express database. I followed the same link you gave me and downloaded the version for Oracle 11g. It was begining to initialize however it said before I can use the software I needed to have weblogic installed to my computer. I downloaded weblogic 12c to my computer. half way through the setup an error message inst-07286 poped up and said that I needed weblogic version 10.3.5.0 or it would not install. I then proceded to dowload that version of weblogic to my computer and it failed and gave me and installation error message and said that I had the wrong installer.
I dont have technical support once again so if there is a method to correct this problem I would appreciate you letting me know and if possible please send me an exact link as to what I should download.
    best regards
    Ali

  • Install 11g Forms Builder ONLY?

Now that 11.1.2.2 is released and four years later since this question was asked as to whether the Forms Builder / Development Client    Forms/Reports 11g Builder without WebLogic    , do I still need to install WLS and the other bloat just to build a form on Windows when my runtime production environment will be on Linux?

I wanted to add a note for others, like myself, that are just upgrading to 11g.   The reason why there is one install download for both development and deployment is because they require WLS and because the OC4J environment is no longer used. Recall the Dev Suite / Builders relied on OC4J to some extent if you wanted to run forms from the builder.  The WLS replaces OC4J for running forms from the builder.

  • Can Oracle Form Builder 10g open forms created with Developer 11g?

    Hi,
Two different groups of developers developed forms in both Forms versions 10g and 11g. There will be call_forms between both versions and both will run under the same portal. Production is 10g. Is it possible to open 11g forms in 10g Form Builder? Suggestion/ solutions are appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Victor

It is likely you will run into issues, so I would say best not to. I have done it a couple of times by accident during migration of Forms 10g to 11g. You can still open and view the 11g forms code in the Forms 10g builder, but will likely see some objects appear as incorrect types. Saving the 11g form in such a state from the 10g Forms Builder may result in corruption.

  • Can I use Oracle Forms Services 11g with Database 9.2.0.8.0?

    Hi everyone.
My department is evaluating development tools in order to build new web applications, and also possibly to migrate current applications buit with Oracle Forms 6.0.5.34.0. Our database is Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.8.0 - 64bit.
We have read that the newest Oracle Forms version is Oracle Forms Services 11g. Is Oracle Forms Services 11g compatible with Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.8.0 - 64bit? or would we have to migrate our RDBMS to Oracle 11g?
If our database is compatible, what would we need to develop and deploy applications with Oracle Forms Services 11g?
    Many thanks in advance.

Wheter it's compatible or not: Database 9.2.0.8 is in sustaining support which means you won't get patches for it. So even if it is compatible I'd opt to upgrade to a newer version, as I wouldn't feel comfortable having a not-supported product out in production.
Have a look at the certification matrix for supported configurations
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/downloads/fmw-11gr1certmatrix.xls
As for the requirements; most things can be found on the forms homepage on OTN:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/forms/
    or at the documentation:

  • Error in forms configuration 11g

    Hi,
I am trying to configure Oracle Forms server 11g on my machine but I am constantly hitting error which I could not understand at all. The funny thing is there is no error in my Forms Configuration wizard. It just hangs there but I know its not doing anything because it's been more than 2 hours just like that. Every few minutes it adds the following line in the install log
Trying to assign 2 consecutive ports where the starting port range is: 0 - 9100
Here is the error log from the install. Can anyone tell me what I need to do ? My environment is as follows :
    Windows 2008 Server 64 Bit.
I have also successfully installed Weblogic Server generic with 64 bit JVM and on top of that I installed Oracle SOA suite 11.1.1.3 successfully as well. After that I tried installing
Oracle Forms 11.1.1.2 first without configuring successfully and then installed Oracle Forms patchset 11.1.1.3 with the confiugation opion.
I have tried installing with the Node Manager on and with Node Manager off (I thought this might have something to do with it but it doesn't matter. ) Also I am trying this install without running the SOA server on.....not sure if that would make any difference!.....

    Database is standard edition v11.2
    Fresh Windows2008 64-bit install.
    Installation order:
    Database v11.2,
weblogic 10.3.2 64-bit from the generic jar install,
    forms and reports v 11.3.3.1,
    upgraded weblogic to 10.3.3,
upgraded forms and reports to 11.3.3.2
(I wasn't intending upgrading at this stage as it was a proof of concept).
