Formula for Searching Field

Hello! I am having a problem writing a formula that will search a free text field for a 16 digit number. I used NumericText to locate numbers with the Picture formatting but it is only look at the beginning of the field and not scanning the entire field. I would appreciate any suggestions. I am trying to find any 16 digit number in free text filed. I have no specific number just anything that is formatted to a 16 digit number. I need the entire field to be searched and it seems like the formula I have is only pulling information that starts with a number. The 16 digit number could be anywhere in the field. Thanks.
PS here is a copy of the formula I am using with the filed names removed and queue name removed for secruity purposes.
>=CurrentDate -7 and
<= CurrentDate -1 and

Is there a way to change the formulas for the fields of the Quiz Results slide?

I see the placeholders for the fields on the Quiz Results Slide (Number of Questions = {total-questions}). Is there a way to view and change those calculations?

You can select which variables appear on the Quiz Results slide, but you cannot really change the calculations used by Captivate under the hood.
Depending on what you're trying to achieve, you might be able to insert your own captions reading off the same variables and use Advanced Actions and Expressions to cook up different results. But it depends very much on what you want to do and whether or not the variables are exposed, and whether or not the limited Expressions available will allow the math.

Formula for new fields

I need to break apart a field based on the position of a Pipe Symbol(|) and create new fields. Example: My remark field looks like the examples below.
HOURS|13|121.5 or
Days|8|1025.6 or
MILAGE|315|21.5
I need to create a field for each of the 3 elements in each example. I can't use SUBSTR because each element is a variable length seperated by the Pipe Symbol.
Is there a way to do this?

I created 3 new fields. The first is UM and contains:Split({F0311_Accounts_Receivable_Ledger.RPRMK_Remark},'|') [1].
The second is Amount and Contains:split({F0311_Accounts_Receivable_Ledger.RPRMK_Remark},'|')[2]
The third is Rate and contains: split({F0311_Accounts_Receivable_Ledger.RPRMK_Remark},'|')[3]
UM Returns HOURS|17|185.00
When I add AMOUNT I get an error saying 'A subscript must be between 1 and the size of the array.
Can you see what I am doing wrong?

Do you want to see which database fields you have inserted in Crystal Reports and in which section you have inserted what fields?
If yes then
-open formula editor
-In the right side pane expand Formatting Formulas.
-Expand all the sections one by one and it will show you database fields,formulas and all the objects used in the sections.

Using VB code, I am attempting to modify a Crystal Report before exporting it into a PDF format and then displaying it on the Web.
My problem is that I am unable to access the formula used to dynamically suppress a field.
The following code is working:

I can not find any reference to the actual suppression formula in the SDK help file.
Note, the EnableSuppress can be set to True for False, but if there is a formula for dynamic suppression, the True or False value is overwritten. The results of the formula determine the suppression.
Is there a way to reference this formula. I know that I can put on in using the Crystal Report Designer software, I need to modify this formula using VB code and the SDK.

If you are using the ReportDocument object you do not have access to the Conditional Suppression formula. You can get around it by using a formula field in the report for the supression and then using the FormulaField code to change it at runtime.
If you want to change the supression condition directly at runtime you need to use RAS and the ReportClientDocument.

i am writing a report for delivery order.in this report i have to refer customer PO & customer SO .
i mean, my company has a customer ( seagate) & seagate has a customer (let maxtor).initially maxtor will give a PO to seagate then seagate will raise a SO againest maxtor.
Then seagate will send PO number(of maxtor), PO line number,SO number(seagate), SO line number(seagate) to our company.
Then i have to write a report for sales order & delivery order.in these reports i have to refer seagate PO number & seagate SO number for reference.
i got PO number as vbkd-bstkd but not getting any field for reference Sales order.plz advice me on this. it is very very urgent.

Looking for complete list of attributes to search on in Mail Search field

I have been digging for hours and other than the few examples in Mail's help file, I can't find a complete list of attributes to search on when doing ad-hoc searches in Mail's search field.
The ones I know of are to:, author:, subject:, kind:, date:, size:, modified:
There are also quite a few synonyms like from:, by:, to:, recipient:, etc.
But where is the complete list? Arghh!!
Any pointers would be much appreciated, or maybe folks can just append the keywords they know to work here?
I'd love to find one that does the equivalent of mailbox:foldername

Error while Creating a formula for field AZNOR (T-Code : OP17)

i am facing a problem in Transaction OP17 while creating a formula for field AZNOR ( No of indivual capacity in work center) in work center (T-Code : CR02) .
It shows the error
The data object "F" has no component called "AZNOR''..

When there was support for Google Toolbar, I was able to do this; now, whenever I want to search for something, I have to open a new tab to do it, and cut-and-paste my search into the search field in the new tab. I used to be able to highlight, drag, and drop something into the search field and have it automatically open in a new tab. This is enough for me to switch to Chrome . . .

1) date of manufacture of that material
2)country where that material is manufactured.

how to set search help property for the I/O fields in screen in se80?
1. do we want to add any property for search help in the property window?
2.do we want to create a MODULE PROCESS ON VALUE REQUEST ?

Input Help on the Screen
Within the Screen Painter, you can define two types of input help:
1. The FIELD statement with one of the additions VALUES or SELECT.
2. Linking a search help directly to a screen field.
If you link a search help directly to a screen field, it overrides the additions of the FIELD
statement. However, the input check [Page 581] functions of the FIELD statement remain
unaffected.
Input Help in Flow Logic
The following input help methods are obsolete and should not be used. They are still supported
for compatibility reasons.
In the screen flow logic, you can specify a value list for a screen field <f> as follows:
FIELD <f> VALUES (<val1>, <val2>,...).
The value list contains a series of single values <vali>. The NOT and BETWEEN additions for the
input check [Page 581] are not appropriate for input help.
You can also create a value list by accessing a database table as follows:
FIELD <f> SELECT *
FROM <dbtab>
WHERE <k1> = <f1> AND <k2> = <f2> AND...
In the WHERE condition, the fields of the primary key <ki> of the database table <dbtab> are
checked against the screen fields <fi>. The WHENEVER addition, used with input checks [Page
581], is not necessary for input help.
If you have used a ABAP Dictionary reference for field <f>, the selection and the hit list formatting
may be affected by any check table attached to the field.
Attaching a Search Help
Search helps from the ABAP Dictionary can be attached to a screen field [Ext.]. To do this, enter
the name of the search help in the corresponding field in the attributes of the screen field in the
Screen Painter. This assigns the first parameter of the search help to the screen field. It is only
possible to place a value from the hit list onto the screen.

When the user chooses the input help for the individual fields, the following input
help is displayed:
For the Airline field, the search help displays the names of the airlines and places the airline
code in the input field for the chosen line. If the airline code is not one of those listed in the
VALUES list of the screen flow logic, the input check triggers an error message in the PAI
event. So the search help overrides the VALUES addition for the input help, but not for the
input checks. This is therefore not an appropriate place to use the VALUE addition.
For the Flight number field, the flow logic displays the selected entries from the database
table SPFLI and places the selected line in the input field.

Search Help for Custom field in Sourcing Cockpit

Hi SRM Experts,
I added custom field "rush order" in the Structures as per requirement. I added code in MODIFY_SCREEN function module. Search help is working for "rush order" in Process Purchase Orders (to search PO) and Check Status (Searching Shopping Cart). But it is not working in sourcing cockpit. Please guide or suggest me is there any additional settings or programming is required to have search help for custom fields in Sourcing Cockpit.
