Formulas, superscripts and subscripts with Pages on iPad?

How to write formulas, superscripts and subscripts with Pages on my iPad? Do i need a third part app? If so, could anyone suggest one?

I've found a possible solution to insert equations and formulas without Latex or copy/paste images, only with Pages for iPad and without internet, using Pages tools. So, I have some examples of Pages documents. If you want to take a look them, give me your email and I'll send you an example.

You can create left and right single quotes with option + }, and shift + option + }, respectively.
Double quotes work the same way using the { character substituted above.
Menu > Format > Font > Baseline:
Superscript is control + command and +
Subscript is control + command and -

Hi John,
A report with saved data can be altered using an updated record selection formula prompt without hitting the DB again.
For example your report returns each Country sales records, You export that to RPT format or save data with report from the designer. Now you can hit the refresh button and if you have a Country Parameter it will prompt and you to use the saved data, do this for each.
Bottom line is CR Designer does not have the ability to export subreports to a unique file in one refresh. You can using the above, export 5 times, one for each subreport. You have to set up the report do filter for each of course.
CR Server and BOE has a feature like this. As well as being able to schedule for each user. In that case though you can simply create a report for each and not bother with subreports.

Pages for ipad has font options of Symbol and Zapf Dingbats. I would like to use one of these fonts to place arrows in lines of text. Does anyone know how to do this? I am using IOS6 and ipad 3

Does Pages on the iPad have an Inspector panel? In the Mac version, it's a round blue button in the icon bar at the top of the window.
If you've got that in the iPad's Pages app, then you can use it to manually raise or lower the baseline of one or more characters, then use the font size to make them smaller. Superscripting after a numeral can be automatic (in the Mac version) by setting that in the Prefs.
You can probably tell I don't have my iPad yet.

Tables and cells in Pages for iPad

I am using Pages for iPad. I am writing in a table and when I write a large content in a cell, it desappears on the bottom of the page.
Is there any way to make the cell to split automatically when it reaches the bottom of the page?

CSS XML and superscripts and subscripts...

Hello all,
Simple... I am loading text into a dynamic text field via XML
and styling it using a CSS stylesheet . But here is my problem, how
can I use the <sup> and <sub> tags. Now, I have read on
live docs that the Flash player does NOT (that's right, does not)
support these properties of XML or HTML, which is hard for me to
believe. Has anyone out there found a work around... I have tried
pretty much everything.

Can someone help me with pages on iPad. I am trying to group a text box with a media image and the group option is not appearing.

I have tried all different combinations of objects to see if that is the problem but still no group options.
I have also tried with 2, 3, 4 & 5 objects.
I have managed this before, by obviously by chance.

Superscripts and Subscripts

I just started using Pages, after using Microsoft Word for many years. How do you input a superscript or a subscript? I have used the "insert footnote" capability, but that is not what I want to do in every instance.

The nav bars are too sensitive and interfere with page navigation

Seems to me it would be far better if the nav bars at top and bottom (chrome) were activated with a two-finger touch. The things pop up at the least touch. They should be secondary to swiping, tapping to activate pan and zooms, etc.
I'm refering to the behavior within the Content Viewer on the iPad.

Completely agree. A settings page where navigation can be tweaked - with a default set at two finger tap - would be great. The nav constantly popping up really interrupts the reading flow.
