Would somebody - anybody from the Adobe Support team PLEASE
acknowledge this request - PLEASE !!!
I have written to the Adobe Support service on three separate
occasions over the last 5 weeks and still have not received a reply
My conundrum is as follows:
I inadvertantly 'subscribed' to the "Dreamweaver General
Discussion" forum. Attempts to 'unsubscribe' have been woefully
unsuccessful - infact, there IS NO FACILITY to 'UNSUBSCRIBE'
As such, my mailbox is filled with 500+ replies to this forum
page on a daily basis.
(All I did was select - "Subscribe to this topic")
Attempts to cancel this forum page from my list has resulted
in completely removing the said forum from my account. Infact, I
can no longer access the 'Dreamweaver General Discussion" forum and
there is no facility to re-instate it !?????
Hence why I have had to post this message on the "Dynamic
HTML General Discussion" forum page.
NOBODY from Adobe seems interested in my emails, or for that
matter - trying to help me.
I'm going mad with all these messages - would someone please
be kind enough to help me? I am desperate!

    (2) 1. First thing is that you must update your drivers like: Graphics, processor or anything else. Go to the makers website and download the drivers from there.
    (2) 2. DirectX. Windows XP has DX9, Windows Vista has DX10 and Windows 7 has DX11. But if you dont have windows 7 or dont wanna have. Then you must update the DirectX version. Go download it from Microsoft.
    3. Turn off all background applications and other stuff to gain CPU and Memory. Gamebooster is a essential choice for those who are confused.
    (2) 4. Own a optimazing software. They will help you a little bit. But dont expect they can do your pc very fast. Tuneup Utillites is a extremely recommended program. Buy it or try it.
    (2) 5. Defragmentation. Do it to gain some performance. Dosent help som much. But hey! Its better than nonthing.
    (1) 6. Low end Pc's? If you have it. Not to worry! Do the same thing but do not expect to be playing the games that didnt work or didnt meet the minimum requirements!
    (1) 7. Bla bla bla the game isn't working, its running to slow! Well you all have to check the system requirements first. The game is maybe too strong for the pc. Well you can't really uprgrade parts like desktops. But its best to play if the pc meets the recommended requirements!
    (2) 8. Set the game priority to high. To do this you have to enter to your desktop and press Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Then you will get a screen called taskmanager. Go to processes and then right click on the game and the set a priorty to high.
    (6) 9. (WARNING! This could damage your computer. Unadvanced users shouldent to this!) Overclocking. Pretty impossible but some programs can offer some overclocking. I dont know so much about this. But is possible to overclock but needs much effort.
    (1) 10. Ask me. ONLY about performance please! 
    (2) 11. Windows Vista? Ha! Forget it! Vista pretty much kills the fun. Its very bad in performance you should downgrade to XP or upgrade to 7. (Windows 7 Recommended but i will say XP)
    (2) 12. Readyboost. Yeah dosent do so good to my opinion but its good if you want to speed up the pc. (NOTE! The readyboost function is only avalibale in 7 or Vista SP 1 i think?) To do this you have to have a usb. Righr click and press the readyboost tab then you can decide how much memory it should be there. Windows XP user? Not to worry! Download RAMdisk!
    (3) 13. Tweakguides.com they will pretty much help you tweaking fps and performance.
    (2) 14. Poor RAM. Download Crcuial Memory Mechanic. This will defragment all the unnescessary stuff in the RAM.
    (1) 15. Buy a new pc. If you still have bad performance you can always buy a new pc.

  • This is a second try to get help. I need help to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop cc 2014

    Bridge is not working well, I need to reinstall Photoshop cc 2014 .  Someone from Communities was suppose to help me.

    I used the chat "Creative chat support"  this afternoon at around 14:40
    and the person, Karthik M , gave me a link to Technical Support.  I
    guess he could not help me, but he said he understood the issue.   With
    the link "Help, Adobe Installation problems",   I will follow the
    instructions  to clean ps cc2014 with CCleaner and reinstall the app.  
    It looks quite complicated  but I will give it a try and hopefully succeed.
    You have to understand when reading my previous messages, the issue is
    no longer "Retreiving Photoshop CC" but reinstalling Phoshop 2014 to try
    to repair Bridge.

    I am confused. Do you mean you found the music, not the tones, or you can't find either?
    If the former, then this is normal. You can't redownload tones from the Cloud.

    However, my troubleshooting issue is that I also want the songs in my concert playlists to go in order of how they were performed at the concerts.
    Give them a track number.
    Each time I number them within the playlists the song's number also changes within the Library Music list.
    And?  I'm not seeing the problem.
    However, I can not figure out how to make true copy. I've already tried dragging the song to my desktop, then dragging the new copy back into iTunes. I've even tried renaming the duplicate copy and dragging it into iTunes. Why won't my iTunes make an individual duplicate copy of a song?
    How do you have iTunes manage your music?  If you drag a song to the desktop it may just be moving the file to the desktop.
    Command+R to reveal the file in Finder.  Command+D to duplicate the file in Finder. Drag the duplicate to iTunes to add the second copy.  Not that I totally understand where the issues lie and feel this is likely not the best remedy...

  • Need some help in creating Search Help for standard screen/field

    I need some help in adding a search-help to a standard screen-field.
    Transaction Code - PP01,
    Plan Version - Current Plan (PLVAR = '01'),
    Object Type - Position ( OTYPE = 'S'),
    Click on Infotype Name - Object ( Infotype 1000) and Create.
    I need to add search help to fields Object Abbr (P1000-SHORT) / Object Name (P1000-STEXT).
    I want to create one custom table with fields, Position Abb, Position Name, Job. Position Abb should be Primary Key. And when object type is Position (S), I should be able to press F4 for Object Abb/Object Name fields and should return Position Abbr and Position Name.
    I specify again, I have to add a new search help to standard screen/field and not to enhance it.
    This is HR specific transaction. If someone has done similar thing with some other transation, please let me know.
    There is no existing search help for these fields. If sm1 ever tried or has an idea how to add new search help to a standard screen/field.
    It's urgent.

(Table INTERFACE contains the information about how the search help parameters are related to the screen fields).
    3. PRESEL
    Before sending the dialog box for restricting values. This timepoint is suitable for predefining the value restriction or for completely suppressing or copying the dialog.
    4. SELECT
    Before selecting the values. If you do not want the default selection, you should copy this timepoint with a search help exit. DISP should be set as the next timepoint.
    5. DISP
    Before displaying the hit list. This timepoint is suitable for restricting the values to be displayed, e.g. depending on authorizations.
    6. RETURN (usually as return value for the next timepoint)
    The RETURN timepoint should be returned as the next step if a single hit was selected in a search help exit.

    Hi Lecia,
    You have several choices.
    Use the first set of controls in the Format Bar. One of these is a Color well (red in the image). Select the cell(s) in which you want the text coloured, then click the well to open its Color palette, and choose your colour.
    Use the Text Inspector. Open the inspector, click the Text button (T), and use the tools there (similar to the set in the Format Bar).
    Press command-T to open the Fonts Window. This offers a few more options than are available in the Inspector or the Format bar.
    Regarding "Help": I'd recommend using the Numbers '09 User Guide, which you can download via the Help menu. Easier to search, and easier reading than the individual Help articles. search 'text color' to quickly get to instructions on applying colour to text.

    Pfondaneche, when you press F1, are you just in the main Photoshop window?
    When I press F1 I see it go through a quick redirection and within a small fraction of a second it ends up here:

    The specific link you posted does not work for me either, so I'm assuming there's an Adobe server problem somewhere, or maybe a problem with that particular link.
    I've noticed Adobe has failed to update a number of its pages for the new Photoshop CC 2014.1 release.  For example, where is a new page that describes where Photoshop CC 2014.1 keeps its preference files?

  • Choice between UPK in-application help and standard EBS help

    We are on a EBS 11.5.10 project, implementing UPK.
    We got UPK in-application help working; changed custom.pll, set the profile option, everything fine.
    Now we would like the users to have the choice between UPK help (default) and standard EBS help.
    Therefore we opened the In-Application Support Player Configuration, and created a new Tab:
    Type: Oracle E-Business Suite help
    Tab Text: EBS help
    URL: ?
    Whatever we put in the URL, it won’t display the standard EBS context sensitive help. We can see the ‘EBS help’ tab when selecting ‘window help’ in the application but the page is blank or shows an error message.
    Do you have any tips on how to get this working?

    I have the exact same requirtment, Could you please give the step what you have done so that it would be helpfull. Also after publishing the content on the i am not seeing the "Application Option" i am seeing the smart help. do we need to configure on "Application Option" or on smart help. Where ever is see the doc it says configure oracle_gateway.html but i dont see oracle/hemi folder at all. do know if there is a set up that has to be done to get this option (UPK 11.10.1)

    That's a peculiar one to get in the context of a QuickTime uninstall.
    Which particular version of QuickTime for Windows are you currently running? (7.7.5, 7.7.4, something earlier?)

  • How to use online help instead of local help files?

    I know that if I am looking for help in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, I can hit F1 or go to Help -> Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Help...
    However, I do not like that doing that sends me to the limited help files that are stored on my local drive.  I would like that link to default to the online help.
    Is there any way to do that?
    The real reason I want to do this is because I use Mozilla Firefox and tightly control the cookies that sites save on my computer. For sites that I trust, I simply add them to the whitelist. However, I am unable to add file:///C:etc.etc. to my whitelist, so I have to approve 5-8 cookies every time I go to another page within the help files. This is extremely annoying.
    In regards to this local help default over internet help, Adobe has said:
    The Help menu within the product opens local Help, a subset of the content available in online product Help. Because local Help is not as complete or up-to-date as online product Help, Adobe recommends that you use the PDF version of product Help if you want to stay off-line.
    But what if I don't want to use the "subset of the content available in online product Help" and prefer to simply go to the online product Help just like every other Adobe CS4 product?

    You could add a custom menu item to the Help menu that executes the following line of code:

    Yea I am. I deleted Logic Pro 9 and moved the App to the Trashcan like normal. Then when I go to install it, it says its already Installed. When I do this with other apps; it works fine, the install thing comes back up like it should once you have deleted the app

    Installed Adobe Help Manager
    - Downloaded offline PDF
    Changed Adobe Reader EXE AcroRd32.exe compatibility settings to Windows XP SP3
    Launched Adobe Reader > Prompts "protected mode" windows to disable> Disabled Protected mode>Help working fine now
    Would you mind tell me the importance of Protected mode in New version of Adobe reader.

    you can place (install) the help files on any machine you want, at least it has a web server on it.
    you can then specify the "Server Name" and "Path" in SR13 to this server (e.g. Server Name = mywebserver.mycompany.com:1080, Path = helpdata)
    the clients open the associated program to the extension of the files (in case of .chm and .html it would be most likely the Internet Explorer)
