Forum search gone missing?

Hi everyone,
right now I´m not sure if I´m loosing my mind.
I was online in SDN-Forums just this morning and all was fine.
Returnin now, I cannot seem to find the search option for the forum.
Did I miss an update? Is the function no longer available?

"search for WLAN" option gone missing

My N82 had the "search for WLAN" option below the "select access point". but since of today it has gone missing and i have no idea how to get it back.
below is the option i'm referring to which i found on the net because i can't post a pic of my phone cos the "search for wlan" has disappeared.

cos i'm afraid i might mess my phone up and don't want to take that chance.
i think this happened while i was messing around the access points menu in settings trying to delete the unwanted access point it had stored there.
i don't think i deleted it unless it was there with another name?
maybe like default or something???
isn't there a way to add a 'search for wlan' shortcut there like it was originally?

Help menu "Search" box missing in Dreamweaver 5.5 for Mac

I've just upgraded from CS3 to CS5.5 on Mac OS 10.6.8 and am still finding my way around the new menus. The easiest way to find a menu command is usually to use the spotlight type "search" box that appears at the top of the help menu, which flags up exactly were each command is when you type in it's name. However, while the search box is there in my other CS5.5 applications it's missing from Dreamweaver. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
I have tried the obvious things like repairing permissions and rebooting and have also got Spotlight to re-index my hard disk in case the fault lay there, but it didn't help.
Just to clarify, here's how the help menu looks in Dreamweaver with the "search" box missing.
And here's how the "search" box appears in the other CS5.5 applications.

Has anyone else encountered a situation where images suddenly gone missing?

i've had files suddenly gone missing on me several times. i was so sure that this might be a bug but now i think it's user error. at least my error.
a few times i wanted to delete one image and then found that several other images disappeared on me. here i realize that i forgot to deselect all of the other images before deleting the one image i intend to delete.
another time for some unexplained reason, so it seemed, several images disappeared on me. poof! i couldn't find them anywhere, but i didn't think to look in the Rejected library. later on i realize that i've pressed the zero key by mistake while the images were selected. the zero key rejects the images and placed them in the Rejected library. i've found some of my missing images in this library. phew!
for those of you who have some missing images, and haven't taken a look inside your Rejected library, take a look and maybe you'll find some of your missing images in there.

You might just need to clear your search by selecting
the "x" in the search field.
Not quite the same as going into the search field and changing the rating slider and selection to show only deleted as by just clearing the search field does not change the slider rating and you'll still not see the rejected files.

Drag and drop operation resulted in files gone missing

I would really appreciate some help as I have lost about 80 files. Here's what happened: I had a big folder of several hundred files and I was moving those files– photographs – into subfolders.I selected the photo in bridge and then used a drag and drop method to move it. It all went well except in two instances. One group of photos I dragged it to the wrong folder but when I searched I found them. Another group has gone missing. I have searched the whole computer for names of some of the photos in the missing group.it is as if they vanished into thin air. What could have possibly happened?

I always use the drag and drop method and if it goes wrong I usually are to fast and don't wait for Bridge to have completed or I did not point to the correct folder.
Without knowing what system you are on and what version of bridge you are using I agree with Curt that the files must be somewhere on your system (also check the Bin) and you better use a dedicated system search for it.
And what is "group.it"? If I do a google search it stops without result and group.it also has not understandable or related results?

In the search bar google search engine missing (and others)

A number of search engines have gone missing. I guess I can add back the ones I've added in the past but Google is missing and I'm not sure how to add that back.

After I upgrade to Firefox, the "Restore Defaults" is not available.
Might as well as said click the selection that is not available to do the thing that you want.
Really irritating that Yahoo has confiscated my search bar and completely kicked out Google. This is the first time that Mozilla has really irritated me enough to switch to Chrome.

Can't retrieve project from early Photoshop Elements 5.0 as program is searching for Missing Files. These were transferred from that computer and then lost HELP

When I bought my new laptop I transferred "My Pictures" onto a memory stick then onto the new laptop which are now lost. I have a very important family holiday/wedding still on my old computer in Photoshop Elements 5.0. The photos are there but when I open them I get a window where PE is "searching for missing file". Is there any way I can save these photos please?

Sleep setting has suddenly gone missing on 20GB 4'th Gen. refit

When my 20GB, Gen 4, Ipod died, I had the extended warrenty. True to their word, when Apple couldn't fix it, they replaced it. I think the new one they sent me is a refit, but it has worked fine until now. For whatever reason the "sleep" setting has gone missing from all my menus! Very Strange. I thought perhaps the latest update had something to do with it, but my 5'th Gen. 40GB, video Ipod, was also updated... and it still has a sleep setting.
I have been putting the 20GB to "sleep" by holding down the clickwheels lowest point, the screen goes dark... but when I restart it, it's been playing, because the battery is always dead.
Am I missing something here? I know it seems strange... so that's why I've come back to discussions. Anybody?

Looking through ipod forums, suggestion to reset ipod, and all menu's within. Continue pressing "menu" to main. After resetting "sleep" reappeared right where it should be.

Searching for Missing Files-Elements 5.0

Elements 5.0--loaded photos from my camera using Elements. Added some captions using Elements. the next time I tried to retrive photos I got a screen saying "Searching for Missing Files" and the system started scrolling through files. Not sure why this is happening.

App Store app has gone missing.

The App Store icon has gone missing from my daughter's iPad. I have searched all the screens. Cannot find spotlight as some help sites say to look for.
How do I get it back. Does it have anything to do with accessibility? I am so baffled at how it has happened. Please guide me

Phone icon gone missing

My granddaughter was playing with my phone and now my green icon for the phone is gone missing... I know it says you cannot delete it, but there are only 3 icons on the bottom row now... HELP...

It's a pre-installed app and therefore cannot be deleted so you may have inadvertently moved it onto a screen or into a folder, the most common folder is one called utilities. Check all screens and folders and do a search in Spotlight, it will tell you if the app it still on your iPhone but unfortunately not where it is. If you find it on one or your screens or in a folder, press the icon until it wiggles and then drag it back to where you want it. Alternatively you can reset your home screen in Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

Forums search

What happened to the forums search? The only thing I see now is the regular search that searches the support database. Is it just in a new location that I'm missing?

When I search on really obvious things like "missing fonts," I get zero results.

The forum search for some (many / most) of the Adobe forums is broken, has been for many, many months. The best way to search is to go to google or another engine and use the advanced features to add a "site specification" for the FM forums.
There are many suggestions on the Adobe General comments forum:

Logical AND not working in the forum search box

Logical AND of search terms does not seem to be working in the MSDN forum search box. Example: I go to the Project Customization and Program forum and type the word
subproject
in the search box. I get a lot of hits. So now I try to reduce the number of hits by typing
subproject AND read
Surprisingly, I now get MORE hits than before. The same thing happens if I enter
subproject & read
Do the MSDN forums not support the standard logical AND combinations of search terms? If they do support these combinations, what is the syntax?

Searching for missing column names in a single database.

I have a database with about 100 tables, database gets generated using entity framework. The application has been enhanced so users deployed with older version of the application need to upgrade to newer version. The database generated is both versions
is same name.
Now, the older version is missing some tables and column names that are in new database.
Is there a script that can search for missing fields in a single database as described in this situation?
Below is my script. Basically, nameofdatabase would the database generated and that already existing. If you install the application and database already exits no new database will be created.
