FPN: UserMapping Error

Hello,
After implementing the FPN configuration, we tried to usermap ourselves to the producer portal with the consumer portal via the personalize window.
But after selecting the Producer Portal alias from the drop-down list -- we received and "Internal Server Error":
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.clientserver.session.SessionExpiredLongJumpException: Application session has expired:
No application session with ID GoE2uebdD0H*rQMRbhA4lQ--JjI1LnPzIShod87J9FmHNQ--
/pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/eu_role/com.sap.portal.portal_personalization/com.sap.portal.umeEnduserRemoteUserMappingWD/sap.com/
tc~sec~ume~wd~enduser/RemoteUserMappingPortalApp/base exists.
Hint: A follow-up request was sent to Web Dynpro, but no corresponding session was found under the existing sessions.
Reasons: a) Session has expired; b) Web Dynpro is called with incorrect session parameters;
c) Application session has been destroyed due to proceeding exception. Please restart the application.
By the way, we have already added a remote role assignment to a consumer portal user -- but trying to view the BI iView gives us a portal runtime exception.
It appears that this issue might be related to the usermapping part.
If it helps, I don't think we weren't able to define the P4 communication parameters:
P4 Connection, P4 Security, Hostname, Port. (how do we define these by the way?)
Regards,
Jan

Hi,
Please setup SSO with SAP Logon tickets. So, import your consumer certificate in your producer and the other way around. Register your portal again and try again. Also check this document: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/703cfbbd-e85e-2a10-00a3-ecd502c08e82

Jan

    HI sireesha
    Try this
Go to System Administration -> System Configuration -> UM Configuration Direct Editing.
You have a parameter called ume.usermapping.unsecure.
Set the parameter to true and restart the cluster again
    check the following links also.

  • FPN Object Error Popup

    Hi,
We are into EP7, SP19 and using IE7.
We have two portals 1 for EP and 1 for BI. We are bringing the BI portal's Portal Favorites iView into EP through Federation.
We are facing the below issue ONLY for few clients (PCs) while accessing EP Portal.
Getting [Object Error] popup while accessing EP Portal. This is happening only for 4 users and working fine for rest.
Can any one tell me what could be the issue? Thanks!
    Best Regards,

Problem resolved. It is due to browser security. Added the consumer site into browser Trusted Sites list. The error should go away. Thanks!

    Hi Kuoming,
The usermapping error is because you have installed portal with weak encryption. You can fix the usermapping error by reading the following forum question.

  • FPN error: com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException

    Hi, all.
I am trying to initiate a webdynpro page from the producer to the consume portal via RDL. It works fine for a day. Then it starts giving me the error:
com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: Failed to load page ...
This error cannot be cleared by clearning the FPN cache or synchronize with the producer. Of course, you can also delete the page from the consumer and copy it over from the producer again. It will work. But this is not a good workaround for a production system. We also don't know the cause either. Here is the stack trace:

    Hi Jonathan,
you may deactivate the GPN cache as well as the old navigation cache. About the GPN there is note 1172433. Both caches are not used in FPN scenario and can lead to such strange problems. If this won't help please open a support message for this that we can analyse further.

    Hi,
thanks for your help. I will update my consumer portal to SP14 and then test again.
There is in the SAP help this interesting topic: [Version Interoperability|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/de/43/23fabdcad10d23e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm]
Consumer-side functionality determines the support level. If content on the producer uses portal client-side functionality (for example, OBN or other navigation related functionality) that is not available or supported by the consumer portal, then the content is not supported in an FPN implementation.

Producer Portal - User data source is BI ABAP Backend
Consumer POrtal - User data source is LDAP
I have tested SSO both ways and it works:
Logged in to Consumer -> switched URL to producer --> switched back to consumer
Still looking at the default trace it looks like some how the end user is not recognized during the switch.
    Any help/direction  is much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Shabna

    Dao,
      Thanks for taking the time.
    Versions:
    Producer BI portal - NW 7.0 EHP1 SP6 (BI_JAVA SP8 Hotfix 12)
    Consumer Portal - NW 7.0 EHP1 SP7 (BI_JAVA SP8 Hotfix 12)
    BIUSER exists on both:
Producer - BIUSER is an ABAP user in the BI Backend
Consumer - BIUSER is the SAMAccount Name of AD account BISUER@<company.com>
    SSO works both ways.
I checked the thread you mentioned. Though the error in the default trace is the same, I am using FQDNs everywhere and the correct P4 ports. I am able to telnet using the P4 ports between the two portals. The FP connection tests also work.
    Thanks

  • FPN Error in iviews

    Hi All,
When i access the content from my user in the consumer portal I get the following error in my iview:
*com.sap.portal.fpn.exception.base.unchecked.FpnCommunicationException: Received remote exception on retrieving delta link remote state for consumer name 'nwban', remote path 'pcd:portal_content/other_vendors/every_user/com.bcone.MalitaFPN/com.bcone.WelcomeRole/com.bcone.Welcome/com.bcone.WelcomeMali', digest 'O0/hGSsm548N9MCJaeK9Gw==' for user id USER.PRIVATE_DATASOURCE.un:Guest *
I tried creating a url iview and I get the following error:
    Portal Runtime Error
I have set the required permissions for the iviews in the producer portal. Am I missing anything else?
Can you help me with this?
    Regards,

    Hi All,
    I have a small doubt.
In the Security Zones folder, for which components do I have to set permissions in the producer?

  • Error during connection test for Content Producers in FPN

    Hi,
I have a question regarding connection test for content producers in FPN. Please let me explain the scenario,
The portal server (PS1) is in the network domain say "XYZ.com" and we are accessing the portal from different domain say "ABC.com" via browser. We need to configure another portal (PS2) which is in the network domain say "mno.XYZ.com" with PS1 using FPN. We have imported the certificates of portal PS1 (consumer) in PS2 (producer) portal server and done the required trust configurations using VA in PS2 portal server.
Then we created a new content producer object for the PS2 portal (producer) in PS1 portal. But when we did the "Connection Tests" it gets failed with the following error message,
"Could not retrieve the WSDL file; the handshake URL may not exist or may be invalid".
Can any one please tell me why this error message is coming. Is it due to any network connection issue?
    Thanks,
    Gokul.

    Hi Ginger,
somehow, yes :-) I deployed the iFlow for customer master replication. After creating a customer the trace looked different and terminated at the reverse proxy. So the simple connect somehow is not able to do the same...
    Cheers

  • FPN Could not load or refresh node Tree creation failed on node: pcd:-Error

    Hi,
I´m configuring a FPN using CRM Java as a producer and SAP Portal as a consumer, the SSO from SAP Portal to CRM Java is working fine, but we are having this Error when trying to Expand Content Administration > Portal Content > NetWeaver Content Producers > MyProducer System
Could not load or refresh node Tree creation failed on node: pcd:NetWeaver_content_producers/........
Also in Identity Management I can see the Federated Data Source but when search for roles no rol is retrieved and returns two messages.
    Last Search might be innacurate
    No element Found
    Has somebody faced this Error?
    Thanx in Advanced!
    Kind Regards,

  • FPN - error trying to lookup object - remote role assignment not working

    Hello everyone,
We have implemented a Federated Portal Network connection in our landscape between our portals.
We use only remote role assignment functionality.
Everything was working fine, but since 2 days we encounter the following error in the Default trace.
Error trying to lookup object: alias: <role name>
It is possible to open the producer portal in the Portal Content Administration and also searching for the Producer portal roles is possible in User administration. But when we assign the remote role the tab is not displayed in the portal only the above mentioned error is shown in the default trace. Our portals run SP 12 and BI Java SP14.
Is there a solution or workaround for this issue ?
    Martin

    Hi,
I have the same issue as you, I cannot see role tabs in Consumer portal and I get the same error in the defaulttrace as you.
What did you do to resolve this issue?
    Many thanks

  • Consumer registration error (FPN)

    Hello all,
I am working with Federated portals, creating the consumer registration to be precise. All steps done are:
    1. System Administration -> Federated Portals -> Manage my producers.
    2. New -> Netweaver Content Producer:
                       a. The Object has been generated.
                       b. The conection test is correct/sucessful.
                       c. BUT.... The producter registration step shows the next error message:
<i>Could not register your portal although access to WSDL file was successful. Possible reasons: producer server is down, network problems, or incorrect registration parameters</i>
The producer server is not down... What kind of network problems could be if the connection test was correct? What is the correct format of the registration parameters? or Could it be a problem related to the WSDL content?
    Thanks in advance,
    Marta.

    Hello Marta,
Did you establish a trust connection between the Producer and the Consumer?
Check the Name and ID you give to the Portal, Make sure no illegal Chars are inserted (E.g SPACE).
    Hope it helps,
    Nadav.
