We have an requirement to find out the FQ event for FI-AP Document with Doc type IF. We couldnt find the from FIBF. Can you please help us.

Document events for text replacement

Hello!
This is a question about Document events in JTextComponent.
Two document events in a row are fired when the user performs a text replacement (some text is selected and the user inserts or pastes new text): first, DocumentListener.removeUpdate is called for the selected text being removed; second, insertUpdate for the text being inserted or pasted.
The question is: how can I be aware that both events are related and exist in response for the same and unique action?
More specifically, I need to know that the remove event is part of a two-step edition in order to bypass execution flow.
I have some bizarre ideas in mind, like proxing the original ActionMap "paste" action (for pasting) and tracking the keyboard (for inserting), but I don't think this is a too elegant approach.
Please let me know if you would find helpful some sample code.

...As you can see it calls ((AbstractDocument)doc).replace() in the most cases all the default EditorKits uses AbstractDocument extensions.
Then from AbstractDocument's replace

Event for document type immediate payment

Dear all,
We are having one requirement where we need to make the payments immediately .For this i have created one new document type particularly for for immediate payments.Can anybody tell me in which event we can substitute this document type while processing invoice document

Hi ,
First of all let us understand that the due date for net payment is considered from the payment terms that are being defined in the contract account , which in addition considers the payment terms of FI ( accounts receivable and payable ) and calander as defined in the payment term .
If the requirement is that the payment terms should be immediate for a particular document type and in in rest document types it should consider the one mentioned in contract account .
In that case you can user any of the event which gets fired at the time of posting of FICA document , check for events pertaining to posting of document and write a custom code for substituting the payment terms for specific document types .
It would be more clear if you specifiy that from where are you posting the document . is it FPE1 or at the time of invoicing or through sanding request ?

FI - BTE events for transaction F110

Hi all,
I'm quite new to the FI module and have a question regarding Business Transaction Events. I tried by searching the forum but haven't found exactly what I was looking for, so if someone could help me out I'll be forever thankful!
The problem is the following: when I create a new customer invoice I fill in various fields, and 2 of them are: Assignment number and Document header text (ZUONR and BKTXT respectively). After saving, if I go to FB03 and view the doc number I just created, I can see these two fields (and they also appear in their respective tables). However, the issue I have is that when I execute transaction F110 for the customer I created and run the payment, I get a new document number (which is basically a copy of the first) that doesnt have these fields informed with the original values. Therefore, my aim is to code in some type of user exit / BTE and transfer the values to the new doc. Does anyone know what event I could use or how this could be approached?
Any help would be of use, thanks in advance!

Use event for F110 is 00002040. Use T-Code BERP - to activate this FIBF, you need put in Vendor Master Data communication type SMTP, when run F110 the program dispach PDF attached to email.
Step 1 - T-Code BERP to find 00002040 This is a Function called SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040, copy with another name i.e. ZZZ_PROCESS_00002040
Step 2 T-Code FIBF -> Option -> Product -> .a Customer, Write product name at your choice (for example ZMAIL), make sure the put this active.
Step 3 T-Code FIBIF -> Option ->Process Function (or Module) -> . A Customer.
Process = 00002040
Module Function = ZZZ_PROCESS_00002040
Product = ZMAIL (name of product define by you in stpe 4)

Event for Cost Planning modification in Project System ( Cj40)

Hi gurus,
I'm unable to find a way to raise an event for the creation of cost plannning trought the CJ40. I've considered everything i know, from status change to exits/badi. Has anyone got similar requierements? ? I've seen some similar question in SDN, buy they are unaswered.
The only idea I have to create a document change from scratch, but i don't know if it it's possible.
Any suggestions.

I'm not an expert in the CJ40 transaction so there could be actually a standard solution. As far as your question is concerned, I will assume that change documents didn't work for you (transaction SWEC). If that is the case, have you considered implicit enhancement spots? If not, they could be an option. Basically, you find where the cost planning is saved. I'm talking about where the record is actually inserted into the database. It will typically be a function module. At the end of that function module, create an implicit enhancement implimentation. You need to check if the creation was successful and if so, create an event using function module SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT. Just make sure you don't set the commit flag if the system is going to commit after the function module is called.

How to create events for Z table ?

Can anybody tell me how to create an event for Z table. I have a Z table in that a Particular filed is there as BELNR.
This Table is being getting updated by various application & even with the User-Exits also. I want to sned an e-mail whenver this particular field is getting updated by any program.
how to do this? which event to be used for a particular field?

I hope below method will help solving the requirement:
-Changes made to the keydocuments are recorded in the change document
Header table i.e. CDHDR and Item table CDPOS, Additional change
pointers are written in the BDCP and BDCPS tables. (BDCP and BDCPS in your case)
-A standard program RBDMIDOC is sechuled to run on periodic basis to
evaluate the change pointers for a message type and starts the ALE
process for distributing the Masterdata to the appropriate destination.
-'Object' is collection of fields of different database tables. T.code
for creating an object is SCDO.
Also:
1. BD61 Active change pointers generally
- Check the checkbox "Change pointers activated -generally"
- Save it
2. BD50 Active change pointers for Message Type
- Message Type Active

Opening in on a Very old post, but i kind of need an onChange event functionality in one of my Web App. Basically we are dealing with a input field which is populated using a barcode scanner and the user wishes to be able to pull all the information related to the material number read by the scanner in an Input Field Element and display the related info in other fields "Without having to hit ENTER". Sounds a bit lazy but thts wht they need.
I was wondering if its possible to modify the SuggestValue functionality to implement such an event. Any pointers to documents which explain how the SuggestValue works? I am just looking for code blocks (even if they are AJAX/Javascripts) tht i can somehow modify to make this thing work.
P.S. Also if there is any other functionality already introduced by SAP since the last comment on this thread to help solve this will be helpful too

Writing own event for Reservation creation BUS object

I am trying to create a workflow that should get triggered when a new reservation is created for approval. I am using the BOR object for material reservation but it does not contain an event of creation. I wish to create a new event and then add code to the event so that a mail to an approver can be sent. Using the approval received I need to confirm the reservation else render it cancelled.
I require help in creating the event and writing the event code for it.

Hello Zankruti,
    Indeed, there's no such event for BUS2093. And if you try to do this to object BUS2093, you will come across error: "No change document object for business object type BUS2093".
    Given this, in your case, I am afraid that you will have to extend object BUS2093 by using delegation - then you will be able to add events CREATED or CHANGED, if necessary. Use transaction SWO1 to this, click on "settings" delegate, delegation type = ZBUS2093(for example) - you will delegate your ZBUS2093 type to BUS2093. After that, you will be able to create the events.
Following the idea, I believe that the easiest way to do this is thorugh enhancement MBCF0007 (Customer function exit: Updating a reservation). Click on components, and then you will see EXIT_SAPMM07R_001. Within this exit, you can call SWE_EVENT_CREATE_IN_UPD_TASK (you trigger the events you will have created above).

Opening event for Excel or Word using Web versions of Excel and Word

Is there an event or other messaging that can be caught and handled when a Word, or Excel file is selected and open using the web version of Word or Excel? At that event I want to access the OOXML file for the selected Word or Excel file and get data from
it.

As far as I know, Opening event for Excel or Word is not exist in the Javascript API for Office.
Unfortunately, I could not find such a document.

For a workaround, I will recommend you add a function to get the data from the file in the Office.initialize event.

Retrieving serial number for items in a document

Hi,
Using UIAPI, is there a way to retrieve the serial numbers selected for items while doing transactions.
For example, when i do a goods receipt for an item which uses serial numbers, i will be prompted to enter serial number/s for the item.
When i click on the add button, i want to able to retrieve the serial numbers selected for items before the document is saved.
Can this be done?Sample vb code will be a great help.

I searched but could not able to find menu 'Select Serial Numbers.....Ctrl-Tab'.
Also i tried using SboEventSpy but it does not display the event type MenuEvent.
i tried using applic.SendKeys ("^") and it works!!
I guess it may be due to the verion of SBO i am using.

BTEs are like user exits. SAP calls the custom function modules assigned to the event in Tx:FIBF from application programs.
For example Payment program RFFOUS_T calls the Z function module assigned to 2040 in FIBF using fm OPEN_FI_PERFORM_00002040_P.
Check the documentation of the sample fm SAMPLE_PROCESS_00002040 for BTE 2040 in SE37, describes how to E-mail or fax.

Hi,
You can use event trace to check the events for a particular Transaction.
1. Go to Transaction SWELS and Switch on the Event Trace.
2. Then post your document using ABF1.
3. Switch off the trace using Transaction using SWELS.
Then check the transaction SWEL. If it displayed any BO and Events then you can make use of it.
If it is finance related transaction, then you should check for the business transaction Events.
It can be done using wizard SWU_EWBTE.
Please do a search for Business transaction events in SDN.

When previewing images by clicking on the thumbnail in an Event for example, I've been finding that many images preview in a 'zoomed in' way so only a small part of the photos is previewed in a highly magnified view.

Initially I could find no cause. Then I tried right click - Edit and on the affected images, always get this warning:
"Image Cannot Be Edited - This photo was previously edited with another application or with an early version of Iphoto. Duplicate this photo to edit it." and a "Duplicate To Edit" Button is displayed.
The external Editor defined for iPhoto is Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Now, I reckon the MUST be others out there affected by this same apparent Preview bug, yet my searches have not revealed any answers. Also seems impossible to find a contact number for adobe???

Unfortunately I think you may be stuck extending Renderer. Another possibility is creating your component via a template, which will be available in JSF 2.0. However, as JSF 2.0 won't be out for a while... you can use JSFTemplating in the meantime:

Need To Return Calendar Events For Current Day

I have a calendar which includes seperate start and end date fields. I need to write a query that will return events for each day in a month, but I need to be mindful of the fact that some events span multiple days. Here is my query so far which isn't working quite right.

The query is located inside a loop which loops through the days in a given month.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Any assistance would be appreciated.

You have to do nested loops - one for the days of the month, and once for the query. It probably does not matter which is nested inside of what. You want your query ordered by EndDate. Then you can do something like this.
