Frequently audio dropouts using L.E. 7 with Built.in audio

Hello
During the working of my last project i was forced to restart l.e. about 20 times in 1 hour!!
I'm using many audio samples (8 tracks) and some Espx24 (tracks)
The dropouts of audio comes in very random mode , but i noticed they're more frequently when i put the sequencer in CYCLE mode , and when I change the lenght of a Espx24 note.
these very fastidious dropouts are only on that project , the others works very well
The only solution i've found is saving immediately after the click-dropout and restart logic

Thx sampleconstuct, I've tried to save it whit a different name in a different folder but nothing has changed.
It happens only with that project.
This afternoon I played it using M-Audio firewire audiophile but these fastidious dropout still crash my audio in a very random mode.
As soon as possible i will try to play the song in my friend's daw to see what's happening to my song

Hey there guys!
I'm from Brazil and actually, this issue occurs with a friend of mine. As he doesn't speak english very well, i'm trying to help him out here... so, i'm gonna summarize the whole tale:
We're from Brazil and here an iPhone is much more expensive than in the US (40% more). His brother went to Miami and brought him an iPhone 4 stuck on the AT&T account, not fully unlocked (not sure if at the time we already had the unlocked ones).
As he got here, my friend could not use the iPhone 'cause there were no ways to do it (it was very recent) and, after a few months (3-4), he discovered an specific 'SIM Card' that could help him to use the iPhone in a brazilian carrier. At that moment, he was using iPhone only for games and as an iPod.
After that (using iOS 4.3), he used the iPhone for months. As the iOS 5 was launched, he tried to update, but then started the problems. Even using Jailbreak or not, he was not able to update the iOS to 5. He received several error messages and nothing done at the time was enough to help him. So he maintained the 4.3 iOS version.
Now, for the last 8 months he's facing several freezes, specially while using the camera and/or apps with advertising (almost all). He tried to do almost everything. Turn the Wifi on/off, 3G on/off, everything. Tried to have more than 50% of the HardDisk free, uninstalled all applications, used jailbreak, restore to the original iOS, everything.
We went to see some specialists here in Brazil, and they said that all their efforts on the Software was done, and only a deep analysis at the hardware would be the reason to fix it. They tried to restore, install, update, do anything with different iOSs, but they couldn't even finish the restore/update of the iOSs.
So his final effort was to use the 4.3.1 iOS, which is the only one that 'keeps the iPhone 4 alive'. Even with some freezes during the usage, but no way else to the updates of the latest iOSs. iTunes recognizes the iPhone, starts the update, but several errors occurs and never can be completed.
Anyone has any clues about it!? By the way, thanks for the opportunity to address and share with you our doubts and questions. I'm here to find out a way to restore this iPhone 4 and use it as a normal person.

Hey man! Thanks for the answer... actually, I’ve already tried this and still jams… Right now, I’m using the iOS 4.3.3 which is the only one that keeps my iPhone 4 ‘usable’.
This iOS 4.3.3 I use DOES NOT have Jailbreak. I have used the Jailbreak at the beginning, but not anymore. It was my only option in the beginning, to use it as a real iPhone, not an iPod.
In April ’12, I’ve got it Factory Unlocked, directly through AT&T. My baseband is already updated to the latest (04.12.01) and I can use it with any carrier in Brazil. The thing is… when I try to update to the iOS 5.1.1, it goes through all the process but at the end, during the last reboot, it gets into an infinite loop (apple symbol and spinning wheel, alternating). The worst part is that iTunes recognizes my iPhone, but as it doesn’t go through the last reboot, there’s no way to go.

Looks like you are working with a vintage product and the operating system is a little outdated, which makes it harder to troubleshoot. It's possible that it doesn't support WPA (depending on the Airport card built-in). Otherwise, if you can connect via ethernet, check for software updates. It even might be as simple as restarting the computer.

I haven't tested it off yet as I always charge it after one bar of the battery indicator has gone. But thought I try to use it'suntil it's completely flat this time. After listening to 4. albums and minimal playing in the menu the battery indicator still says full.

No Audio using Skype on UN60ES8000 with receiver

I just bought a Samsung UN60ES8000 LED tv with built-in skype camera. Skype works but I get no sound. I am using a Pioneer VSX-1026-K receiver. I can get sound from some apps in the Smart Hub but no sound from a Skype call. I am using HDMI from receiver to TV and am using ARC on both the TV (HDMI2) and on the Pioneer Receiver (which was activated on the Receiver software when I couldn't get sound from YouTube). Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Updated: I updated the three Plug-Ins: Flashplayer, VLC player, and the pdf one and restarted Firefox and the problem still isn't fixed.

What Happened? Imovie used to play .mpg with audio.

I have a new Imac 27in. The firsst few days after opening it. I hooked up my panasonic video camera, and uploaded and edited several videos, in .mpg. Now i cannot even get Imoive to recognize a .mpg. I can get quicktime to play the video but without audio. Quicktime used to play the audio also. I never changed any settings. I do not know what happened.
Any way to fix this.

Audio Static using SKYPE, dv7t-4000 with Windows 7

I have an HP Pavilion dv7t-4000 with Windows 7, purchased June 2010. I've used SKYPE for several years, today I have intermittent static so loud I can't hear the other participant.
I did install the Google Plus /Hangout Plug In in an attempt to try that service, but uninstalled it later as a troubleshooting measure (seemed to have the same static issue in Google Hangout).
I automatically download and install all windows updates.
I've tried updating, rolling back drivers (but not manually searching for new drivers).
Its possible that when one user turns video off, the static doesn't occur (it didn't within several minutes of testing).
I can run HULU shows without issue...
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

I never got a direct answer. I did find a few You Tube videos with great suggestions. One was to find the Skype program file, view propeties, turn off a few features and try running it in a previous version of windows. I made those changes, but the problem didn't go away. I found something else (?? the display theme) that I followed that ultimately increased my font size (yeah!) but also didn't solve the problem. Eventually I went back to undo what I did... although I still get a message when I run Skype (not using all the features available?), and the problem is gone. I haven't tried other programs yet (google hangout).
Another friend suggested it would be cheaper to buy an external microphone/speakers, but the problem occured whether I used my earbuds or the built-ins, so I'm not sure that would work either.
Bottom line, my problem is gone, I have no idea why!

How do I use Meetingplace 7.0 with Telepresence?

We have Multipoint Telepresence working great on our network. We also have Meetingplace Audio and Web Conferencing version 7.0 working great on the network. However, the audio doesn't seem to work "together."
How do I integrate the Telepresence and Meetingplace audio on the same conference bridge? I want non-meetingplace users (like the guy at his is desk at a remote office with only a telephone) to have a seemless experience wether or not Telepresnece meeting rooms are involved.

I don't think MeetingPlace and Telepresence have integration capability yet. If you want to go beyond adding one phone only user to a Telepresence call (using the outdial feature with TP) you could try outdialing to a MeetingPlace conference. I would think this would work, in theory, but I haven't tried it. This is assuming that you have your Telepresence on a CCM that has integration to the rest of your companys telephony network, etc...
If you try it, let me know how it goes!

Here's the short-cut solution:
Green Apple tracks are MIDI files (so to speak). If you drag one from the loop browser (Capitol C Orchestral hit, as you mentioned in this exable) directly into the arrange page it creates the MIDI file and the instrument to play it back on.
HOWEVER.If you create and audio track first, THEN drag the green Apple loop onto that track, the loop will get "bounced" with the reverb in tact and you'll have the exact sound that you heard in the preview.
Make sense?

Can I use a Mac mini with a VGA monitor?

The Mac mini web page lists an Apple Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter as an accessory, but the Mac mini doesn't appear to have a Mini DisplayPort.
The Mac mini also has an HDMI to DVI Adapter included, but would this allow a VGA monitor to be connected via an additional DVI to VGA cable? ie. can the HDMI port provide an analogue signal that a VGA monitor can receive?

Some Mac Minis do have mini-DisplayPorts. In these two it is between the HDMI and the USB ports:
(yes Thunderbolt should accept mini-Displayport).
In this one it is between the Mini-DVI and the USB ports:
Only the oldest Intel models would you need a different adapter to VGA
Those you would need a DVI to VGA adapter from Apple such as this one. Note, DVI to VGA is converting digital to analog, and not very useful, unless your TV has neither DVI nor HDMI. DVI is much better converted up to HDMI. And the audio would have to come in separately. So depending on your display model and make, you may be asking for the wrong adapter. VGA is fine if all you are going to do is view DVDs on an old TV. But if you want the ability to use the Dock, menubar, etc..., it is good to have a 1080p TV with built-in HDMI or better.

I use a Win7 PC with iCloud and Outlook 2010 for syncing my calendar and contacts. I can enter data in my Outlook Calendar and it will appear in iCloud, but data entered in iCloud does not sync back to Outlook. ICloud syncs to my iphone fine both ways.

I use Win 7 PC with iCloud and Outlook 2010 for syncing my Contacts and Calendar. They have stopped syncing...mostly.
Now, appointments I enter on my local Outlook (iCloud) Calendar goes up to iCloud fine. But, data I enter on iCloud directly does not come down to my local Outlook iCloud Calendar. If I reboot the computer, the iCloud data shows up.
Also, Contacts I try to enter on my Outlook (iCloud) Contacts goes up to iCloud fine, but does not show up in my local iCloud Contacts.
All syncing works with my iPhone.
I have signed out of iCloud on PC. I have stopped syncing and re-started. No change.
I have an .aplzod folder for iCloud. I have a separate Earthlink.net.pst email account in Outlook and a me.com.pst Outlook email account (which I don't actually use) listed under Data Files.
Any help would be appreciated. Curious that Outlook will upload to iCloud but not receive downloads unless I reboot. However, rebooting does not download the missing Contacts.

You've started off with some good troubleshooting steps, so let's see if we can take this a little further and figure out what the issue is with your iCloud contacts and calendars. I have two articles here that will help you troubleshoot this issue a little further, but the troubleshooting steps for both articles are exactly the same, so I will lay those out for you here:
Note: When using iCloud Control Panel 2.0 and later, iCloud Calendar event descriptions in Outlook 2010 do not support text formatting (bold, italics, or underline), HTML, images, or attachments. The contextual (right-click) menu has also been disabled.
If you are having trouble with a PC (with Outlook 2007 or 2010) and iCloud Calendar, try each of these steps, testing after each to see if the issue is resolved:
Verify that you are using a Windows configuration that is supported by iCloud. For more information, see iCloud system requirements.
When enabling Calendars in the iCloud Control Panel, part of the setup process is to copy your Calendars data from the default Outlook ".pst" file to iCloud, and then remove the Calendars from the ".pst" file by placing them in the Deleted Items folder in Outlook. The Calendars data is then stored in the iCloud data set within Outlook so that changes can be pushed to and from Outlook by iCloud. Be sure you are looking for your data within the iCloud dataset within Outlook after enabling Calendars in the iCloud Control Panel. The deleted files can be seen by viewing Deleted Items within your Outlook Folder List. This is not iCloud removing your data; iCloud simply copies your data into the iCloud data set and then removes the local Calendars data by placing it in the Deleted Items folder.
Make sure your computer is online. Attempt to view www.apple.com and iCloud.com. If you can't connect to the Internet, your iCloud calendars and events will not update in Outlook. Click here for more information about troubleshooting your Internet connection.
Open a secure website to test if you are online as is necessary for iCloud Calendar. This also tests if the ports 80 and 443 are accessible. Outlook requires port 443 access to iCloud in order to push and pull updates to and from the iCloud Calendar servers.
Verify that your iCloud member name is entered into the iCloud Control Panel pane. See iCloud Setup for more information about setting up iCloud on Windows.
Completely close and reopen the iCloud Control Panel.
If you recently made changes in Outlook and they are not moving to your other devices or vice-versa, click the Refresh button in Outlook.
Turn iCloud Calendar off and back on:
Close Outlook.
Open the Windows Control Panel:
In Windows 8, move the pointer to the upper-right corner of the screen to show the Charms bar, click the Search charm, and then click the iCloud Control Panel on the left.
In Windows 7 and Vista, choose Start menu > All Programs > iCloud > iCloud.
Remove the checkmark in the checkbox next to Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks, and click Apply. Wait a few seconds, then replace the checkmark, and click Apply.
Open Outlook and test to see if the issue has been resolved.
Ensure the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active within Outlook.
Outlook 2010:
Open Outlook 2010.
Click the File menu.
Click Options in the left panel of the Outlook window.
Click Add-Ins in the left panel of the Outlook Options window.
Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" and verify that the "iCloud Outlook Add-in" is listed.
For Outlook 2007, follow these steps to verify the iCloud Outlook Add-in is active
Open Outlook 2007.
From the Tools menu, choose Trust Center.
Select Add-ins from the left column.
Look at the list of add-ins beneath "Active Application Add-Ins" and verify that the "iCloud Outlook Add-in" is listed.
For additional information about managing Add-ins with Microsoft Outlook, see this Microsoft support document.
Restart your computer. This may sound simple, but it does reinitialize your network and application settings and can frequently resolve issues.

Ichat, AIM, & Adium all frequently disconnect when using Airport. I use a Linksys Wireless Router with an Airport extreme card. When directly connected to the router, I have no problem. Using a PC with Windows XP, AIM operates fine. Safari and Firefox work fine, although sometimes I receive errors connecting to pages, when I try again no problem. Using any of the chat programs, I lose connection, but then can reconnect. After a few times, the AOL servers will prevent login.
I use COMCAST Cable internet service. My wireless router uses WEP encryption. I would switch to an AIrport Base station, but doubt it would correct the problem.
I have had this problem previously, but it corrected itself. now it is making chat programs unusable.
Any ideas?

By default Linksys units normally have the IP address of 192.168.1.1
Is this true for both your units or have you changed one of them ?
You may only find this out if you connect directly to the Modem one.
Also you have not said if only one of them is doing DHCP.
Example pic 3 on this page. This shows this device as getting it own contact IP address by DHCP (like from your ISP). Further down the page in the pic it shows the device is also acting as a DHCP server to the local net.
If your router is set up like this it could be getting an IP address usng DHCP like this device shows and that would tend to mean that the Modem is acting as a DHCP server as well.
If both devices still have the default IP addresses you will have conflicts, which probably explians the problems you have.
