Frm-92101 happens when I open a form from another form and close it.

Frm-92101 happens when I open a form from another form, check something, show a message to the user and exit the form to the previous form.
Forms version: 10.1.2.0.2. Java: 1.6.0_23. Browser: IE6
When I put before the "EXIT_FORM" two messages, everything is fine and the second form is closed and I repeat to the first form just as I wanted.
In forms 9.0 it didn't happen.
Does it have a connection with the fact I use JRE instead of JInitiator?

There are numerous causes of the FRM-92101 error. I recommend you start your investigation by tracing your Forms session so you can see what your form is doing when the error occurs. I have just found that there is a "Synchronize" command in one of the main attached libraries, and when I comment that command the application works well. But I don't want to comment it because it's a great library and I assume it has a part in the system.
I have discovered that in the new Forms' help, the fact that the System.Current_Item mustn't be null so the command "Synchronize" will work, is mentioned. In the old Forms' help, that fact is not mentioned.
So I tried to put it inside a condition that checks if the current item is not null, but the compiler doesn't recognize the "current_item". I don't know why. Because it's a library? So how can I check this? I can sent it as a parameter, but I don't want. Do you know something about it? Thank you.

Did you try to regenerate the form via adadmin? If not, please do so and check then.

How to open a form and close another one

I wish to open a form from another, and then close the calling form. In other words, having FORM1 and FORM2, FORM1 should do this:
OPEN_FORM ('FORM2',ACTIVATE,SESSION);
EXIT_FORM(NO_COMMIT,NO_VALIDATE);
but I cant get this to work. As FORM1 is modal, it opens FORM2 but its still open. Changing the order of the two statements only cause FORM1 to be closed. Can I perform the two operations from within FORM1, avoiding to put the EXIT_FORM statement in FORM2?

I opened my form and downloaded the form to post on my website... but the submit button is not working.

What am I doing wrong? The first time I created my form I used Acrobat and the FormsCentral embedded in the program. The original form was working, but I had to make some changes to it. I can't get FormCentral to launch within Acrobat anymore. I loaded my new form (with the changes) to Forms Central through the browser interface, yet when I open the form and download the form to post the posted form does not work. Help!

we are using R12, All the instance started successfully, but when i get in to the form server in application side the error comes like FRM-92101 there was a failure in form server during startup. this could happen due to invalid configuration. please look into web server log for details ,
it comes for all the three instances in this particular server , so what is the problem , and where is the web log server present ,

I think that this has to do with the PLL signature. If you only update the content of an existing pll file then this should go without. If you change the signature (e.g. method arguments or method number) then this has an impact to the internal structure,

I installed application server 10g R2 couple of days ago. I am facing FRM-92101: There was a failure in forms server during startup. This could happen due to invalid configuration. Please look into the web server log file for the details.

Could you post the block that does the run_report_object?
The server O/S is using what locale?
Also, try running the same report on the command line on the server using rwrun.

Lov is not validating when i open a form for first time

hi all,
i am using form6i.
i have one multi record block. in which lov is attached to it.
but when i open the form for first time the item corresponding the above said is not showing and if i enter the value then also its not validating against. its showing error frm-40210
but when i click on other item and come to this item Lov is showing.
what could be the reason for this strange behaviour.
i have checked set_item_properties too(there is properties have been set)

what could be the reason for this strange behaviour.Do you have an "Initial Value" set for the item? Do you have the "Validate from list" property set to yes or are you setting the initial value through code?

What's happening when Word opens and saves a document?

I got very unspecific question, but I don't know where to start. I have an open xml document which gets generated by a third party tool. If I open the document using open xml sdk it looks VERY different from how it looks like when I opened and saved it before
using Word 2013.
I'm trying to get an understanding on whats Word doing! From what I've seen it's doing some remodelling on the xml file, since it looks very different (other and way more descendants than before) and I would like to achieve the same thing using open xml.
Although this might be already to much information: The generated word documents contains html code with links to pictures. After Word has touched the file the picture is inside a drawing element, before it's not but in Word both versions look the same.
I'm thankful for any help you can give me.

What do you mean by “other and way more descendants”? Do you mean that you want to add new nodes in the xml document? In my option, different objects in word have different nodes. You could refer the link below for more information about Word processing.

Problem:
I am attempting to run the wu_test form, downloaded with demos for webutil 1.02.
Running wu_test or another form containing webutil functions results in
FRM-92101 in the form's window and the following error in the OC4J console.

I have scoured OTN & MetaLink & tried everything I could find with no luck. I
apologize for the length of this post, but I want to provide as much information
as possible re: what I've tried and my environment.
For instance, the remedy in Note 252600.1, which can cause these symptoms, did

install.syslib.location to an absolute URL, replacing the line:

most of the time this means that your webutil.pll isn't good attached but it is very dependant on the versions you working on.
Post your versions of forms ias and webutil.
In older version it is sometimes necessary to first subclass the webutil group and then attach the webutil.pll. Other way around didn't work (was in beta version 1.02 I believe)

When I open After effects it says I only have 4 (and counting ) days left to purchase…………I’m supposed to get it for FREE, right?. It doesn’t happen when I open illustrator and Photoshop CC 2014. Am I doing something wrong? If you’re not the one to contact please refer to the correct person……….the school uses AE CC 2014 so I NEED to have the correct version.

When I open a link in gmail the website opens as a completely black page and when I click anywhere in the page the whole thing turns white and there is nothing showing. This does not happen when I open the same link in IE
